Reukra stood next to Remi on top of spear pillar. A blue portal glowed next to them. Remi looked slightly unnerved, her pink hair blowing behind her from a gust of wind. Reukra stood in his usual attire of a trench coat with a belt of ultra balls and two master balls around his waist.
"You sure this is a good idea," asked Remi
"No, it's an awful idea. But we're doing it nonetheless," Reukra replied
"I see no flaws with this plan," Remi said sarcastically
"Well, no sense in putting this off. Are you ready?" Reukra asked
Remi just nodded
"Well then, let's do this!"
Reukra jumped through the portal and Remi behind him.
This portal was more of a door instead of the traditional Hoopa-style portals. Remi and Reukra emerged and could instantly tell something was off.
They emerged on an island surrounded on all sides by a blue void, a simple stone trail in front of them. In the faint distance, a large structure could be seen. Reukra looked at Remi who shrugged. They silently agreed to go towards the structure and investigate it to see if the target they were hunting was there.
"Something isn't right here," Remi said unnerved.
"Agreed, the air doesn't feel right," Reukra agreed with her
The two of them kept walking down the path. The ground was uneven and that slowed their pace down, an unnerving howl in the sky terrifying them even more. Or maybe it was a scream, Reukra was pretty unsure about the origin of the noise but it was unpleasant nonetheless.
"This place really gives me the creeps," Remi muttered to herself.
"Agreed, we should leave and never come back once we accomplish our goal here," Reukra said in reply.
"Agreed," Remi said
"When we get back, I'm going for some ramen. It's been too long," Reukra said while his stomach growled.
"We still have to deal with the other one first," Remi said angrily.
"Cyrus will help us, I don't trust him yet, but you can't deny he's efficient," Reukra said with a hint of admiration in his voice.
"I don't like him as a person; he gives me the creeps. But as a leader, Cyrus is undeniably great, he did more with team galactic than practically any other regional team without tons of money backing him up," Remi said
"Anyhow, we're getting close,"
Just then, they were teleported to the entrance of the massive structure they were walking towards.
Remi stumbled and looked up. Reukra grimaced
Dialga stood above the two of them.
"WHAT MORTALS DARE ENTER MY REALM!" Dialga screamed in their heads.
"We do," Remi said sarcastically
"Leave or be erased," Dialga shouted
"Nah," Remi said even more sarcastically.
"Don't talk, just fight," Reukra yelled as he reached for his belt and released a black Mewtwo.
Remi nodded and called out her ghost Charizard.
The two powerful pokemon landed, and Dialga roared.
"You're fools to try this in my own realm," The god of time roared at them as he vanished, and re appeared right over Mewtwo.
Mewtwo fired an aura sphere that slammed into Dialga, dealing surprising damage considering it was against a god in his own realm.
Dialga shot back up and rushed Mewtwo, slamming into the artificial legendary and dealing some serious damage with a point blank dragon pulse.
Mewtwo flew back and quickly regained his composure after several flips.
Charizard and Dialga were battling in the air and were competing somewhat evenly, with Charizard utilizing Dialga's large shadow as a place to hide.
Remi and Reukra made eye contact and nodded. Coming to a silent understanding of the strategy they'd use.
Charizard fired a black beam that slammed into Dialga, forcing the god of time to pull back for a second and reconsider his options. Mewtwo followed up with another aura sphere, dealing even more super effective damage to Dialga.
Charizard blasted Dialga with another black beam that was met with a dragon pulse.
Mewtwo was behind Dialga and fired another aura sphere that crashed into Dialga's legs.
Dialga cried out in pain, and Mewtwo flew above the god and fired a solid ice beam on its head.
Charizard was still in the game, firing black beams at Dialga. Dialga rolled out of the way and fired off his first roar of time, a massive white beam extended from all directions in this dimension, making a hyper beam from a Dragonite seem like a cupcake attack compared to this. Reukra could hardly believe his eyes at the strength of the attack.
Charizard just vanished and the attack missed. That ghost typing sure came in handy at times like this.
Neither trainer needed to give extended orders at this point; these pokemon were so well trained they knew how to take down an enemy efficiently and even with a teammate.
Dialga crashed towards the ground, crying out in pain. Remi and Reukra smirked and started running; Mewtwo and Charizard understood the plan and followed them.
Remi and Reukra fled back towards the portal, fleeing as fast as their legs would carry them. Mewtwo and Dialga traded blows, while Charizard provided air support from the sky, launching black beams and dragon pulses alike. Dialga seemed to be pulling ahead at long last, but Reukra knew the closer he got to the portal, the more screwed the god was. Remi and him kept running while their ace pokemon dealt damage all the while.
Dialga wasn't having it and pursued them, but it was too late. Cyrus was waiting as he said he would, and a massive shadow pokemon wrapped black tentacles around Dialga's legs and dragged the lord of time away from his own realm and into the shadows.
Remi and Cyrus watched in horror as Cyrus's newest ally fulfilled his duty.
Dialga cried out in pain and fear….
Only one creature could make a god cry out in fear.

Meanwhile…..
"You're dating CHLOE?" JN-Ash yelled in surprise at XYZ Ash
"Is that bad?" XYZ Ash asked
JN Ash shook his head, "No, no, not at all. It's just surprising,"
"Well, aren't you dating Serena," XYZ Ash questioned, "I mean, that's just as surprising to me
JN-Ash seemed shocked, "Yeah, I am, wait, do you seriously not see her hints."
XYZ "Do you remember those hints yourself? Or is that just your current ideas talking,"
JN-Ash laughed, "Fair enough,"
"So, what now?" JN-Ash asked
"I dunno, guess we gotta wait for Red," Sinnoh-Ash said
"Ummm, so… you guys wanna battle while we wait?"
Every Ash nodded
"I call the old man!" Ashley exclaimed
"Who, me?" Rocket-Ash asked
Adult Ash laughed
"I think she means Ashton,"
Ashton turned his head away from the TV he was staring at, confused and shot a smile at Ashley.
"Sure! A battle sounds delightful,"
"There's an arena over there," N said, pointing towards a door in the other room.
"You guys wanna watch?" Calem asked the group
"Eh, may as well," May said with a shrug while she leaned against the wall.
Selene and Nate shrugged, "I mean, we're both pretty bored, so I'm fine with anything," Selene said
The group walked towards the indoor turf field and placed bets on who they thought would win the day.
Adult-Ash was confident in Ashton, but Rocket-Ash and the younger counterparts thought Ashley had it in the bag.

"How's one on one sound?" Ashley asked Ashton who nodded
Ashley smiled and pointed at Ashton, "Let's do this, Mawile!"
Mawile ran out from behind Ashley's leg and stared down Ashton, who reached for a poke ball and called out a large strange-looking Arcanine who roared loudly. The Arcanine was twice as large as the normal one and looked much less friendly and more…. Primal.
The other trainers in the room quickly focused on the fire type who looked different from the Arcanine everyone knew.
"I figured we would both lead with our strongest, Arcanine here was my first pokemon when I moved to Hisui," Ashton said
"Well, let's make it a battle we'll never forget!" Ashley said excitedly
Arcanine blew smoke and Mawile jumped at the fire type.
The battle had started
Right off the bat, Mawile leaped up in the air and rushed Arcanine who blasted a wave of flames straight at Mawile.
Mawile was pushed back by the flamethrower and landed on her head.
Arcanine used this chance to launch another flamethrower at Mawile.
Ashton yelled out, "Arcanine, agile style! Raging fury!"
Calem looked at Nate confused, "What the heck is a raging fury?"
Arcanine coated himself in flames and lunged at Mawile, with the force of a raging fury. It was appropriately named to be sure.
Mawile was tackled by Arcanine who was coated in the flames and never stood a chance.
Mawile was sent back and landed awkwardly again. Arcanine was moving fast and attacked again before Mawile could even have an opportunity to attack back.
Arcanine rammed into Mawile and turned before snorting some fire out of its nostrils.
Ashton wasn't playing around.
"Ashley yelled, alright, Mawile, seems like he thinks he can hang with us! We know how to take down fire types, show him our bond and mega evolve!"
Mawile was consumed by a purple glow, and after being coated in a familiar circle stepped out in its powered-up form.
Ashton stepped back, "It's the same… it's the same as the dragon!"
"Damn right it is! Mawile, attack with Iron Head!"
Mawile lept at Arcanine, dodging a blast of flames and headbutting the dog as hard as she possibly could.
Arcanine fell back from the blow and Mawile followed up with another one.
"Now Mawile, attack with a sucker punch!"
Mawile lunged at Arcanine at a blistering pace, but Arcanine dodged the attack and blasted Mawile with a point-blank flamethrower in response.
Ashley grimaced in pain, and Ashton capitalized on her mistake
"Arcanine, show them an agile style move!
Arcanine followed up by firing a flamethrower while running, keeping Mawile at bay while setting the turf field on fire.
"Is that… safe? Indoor fire?" Alola-Ash asked Adult-Ash
Adult-Ash laughed, "Safe as can be, don't you worry. We have sprinklers above and the field gets changed every battle,"
Mawile's vision was obstructed by the massive wall of flames Arcanine was constructing by sprinting around the field like that.
"Now Arcanine, strong style raging fury!" Arcanine stopped in front of Mawile and coated himself in flames and waited for a second, charging up his attack before he rushed Mawile.
"Counterattack with a sucker punch!" Ashley yelled
Mawile and Arcanine took off and lunged at each other, both at a blinding pace. But despite Mawile having the speed, Arcanine had the power.
Mawile was sent flying to the ground, while Arcanine walked slowly towards Mawile, like a predator moving in for the kill.
"Let's end this Arcanine! Blitz of Fire, strong style!" Ashton commanded
"Mawile, you need to dodge and follow up with a sucker punch!" Ashley snapped back
Arcanine made the first move, charging up his attack. It was bright enough to blind most of the audience.
"I think his strong style moves enable increased power with an attack at the expense of speed, whereas his agile style moves allow him to attack many times but at the expense of power," N observed
"Yeah, that actually makes sense," Rocket-Ash said scratching an imaginary beard
Arcanine roared and launched himself at Mawile at long last who rushed forward with a sucker punch, sliding under Arcanine's speeding form and punching the fire type cleanly in the stomach.
Arcanine collapsed from the force of the blow, but not where Ashley wanted him to. Arcanine's flaming form fell right on top of Mawile.
Arcanine roared in pain while still on fire, and despite all of Mawile's punches and kicks to escape, slowly they stopped.
Arcanine stood up, flamethrower at the ready. But there was no need, Mawile was unconscious.
"So it seems the powerful form is not invincible, it increases power but it can also be defeated like any other pokemon, interesting indeed," Ashton said to himself
Ashley picked up Mawile before smiling at Ashton, "Great battle, that was a ton of fun. You're gonna have to show me the rest of your team soon though,"
Ashton nodded, "I'd be delighted to,"
The rest of the other trainers were just in awe, Ashton and Ashley both battled skilfully enough to be a member of their ranks.

Meanwhile…..
Red was here. After traveling through the grand labyrinth, moments in space and time in which the world was in peril and saved by a hero. This way, only the righteous could reach Arceus's realm without the power of all three of the creation trio together.
This was no easy task, even for Red.
But eventually, all the same, he arrived at the throne.
He was ready to face the creator.
