Apologies for the slow chapters, I work late frequently, and writing takes a lot of energy out of me as much as I LOVE doing it.
Ok, BIG THINGS COMING IN THE ANIME THESE NEXT 3 MONTHS: Greninja's return is confirmed along with Clemont and Bonnie. No word on Serena, but either way it's a massive win.

At the Throne,
Remi's Delta Charizard rushed Red's Charizard who flew up and avoided the attack.
Red's Charizard roared and fired a massive blast of fire more akin to a fire-type hyper beam.
Charizard didn't even look fazed, as if he were bored. Remi's Charizard flew back, tossing about seemingly having taken some serious damage from the previous attack.
Remi's eyes widened, this was unexpected, to say the least, she knew Red's Charizard was one of his strongest, but he seemed to be going….all out? Was Red holding back against her this whole time? Remi grimaced at the thought, it'd be very unfortunate if Red was holding back against her the whole time.
She gave another order, "Charizard, use shadow force and vanish!"
Red simply snapped his fingers, and Charizard began glowing red and black, using a much more primal and powerful version of dragon dance.
Remi gulped and pointed at Red's Charizard, yelling "Strike him now!"
Remi's Charizard appeared out of thin air, slamming into Red's. Red's Charizard just turned his head, seemingly unaffected in the slightest from the blow, almost issuing a challenge as if to say, "Is that all you've got?"
Remi's Charizard roared and fired a black beam that knocked Red's Charizard about slightly, but it still wasn't even close to enough to deal any significant damage.
It seemed so one-sided, considering how Remi's Charizard was slower despite being the ace of a former champion who was considered among the strongest ever to live.
Red's Charizard roared and fired off another massive blast of fire, knocking Remi's out and about.
Red then pointed at Remi's Charizard, and Red's Charizard without even looking promptly rushed at Remi's with two glowing dragon claws.
Red's Charizard crashed into Remi's, sending the dragon/ghost Charizard tumbling towards the ground, where it skidded to a halt.
Red's Charizard landed with a triumphant THUMP and waited for its next orders.
Remi looked flabbergasted, she hadn't ever been demolished like this, especially not with her ace.
She started to lose her cool and looked at Red even angrier than before, "You think you're so much better than everyone huh! Well, guess what, you aren't! Just because you haven't made any mistakes doesn't give you the right to act all high and mighty, have you ever considered how normal people feel? Do feelings ever cross your mind?"
Red gave no response as Remi's Charizard started to stand
Remi yelled in frustration and grabbed her mega band, "Charizard, it's now or never! You've been by my side for this long, so let's finish this!"
Red smiled and took off his hat, he pressed a keystone under his hat and his Charizard was enveloped with the same purple light as his foe.
Out of the purple light emerged the Delta-Mega Charizard and a Mega Charizard Y
Cyrus looked interested, "This is when it gets good, but I feel as if this battle is already forgone," he said to Reukra who didn't reply, instead choosing to continue playing the azure flute as if his life depended on it.
Red looked like he was about to lose his temper, "Charizard, strike your foe down!" Red commanded
Red's Charizard rushed at Remi's, and Remi's Charizard cried out in pain before the sky around them began to darken.
Red's Charizard roared, and despite Remi's vanishing, looked as if he had no worries at all, choosing instead to fly around in circles with dragon claws at the ready.
Remi pointed at Red's Charizard and shouted out, "Knock it out of the sky!"
Remi's Charizard fired a massive black beam, twice the size of before, this time it struck Red's Charizard's wings and seemed to cause some major damage. Red's Charizard tumbled down onto the ground.
Red's Charizard roared and flew towards Remi's.
Red shook his head, this battle was as good as over now. Not even he could control Charizard like that.
Red's Charizard rushed at a blinding pace towards his foe and sunk a powerful dragon claw straight into his foe. Remi's Charizard flying back. Red's Charizard flew after his foe, striking again, making his foe fly back again, and then he struck AGAIN. Remi's ace cried out, feeling the effects of the super effective attack delivered not once, not twice, but seven consecutive strikes.
Remi's Charizard tumbled towards the ground, and Red's Charizard roared before flapping his wings before roaring and stomping his foot. Massive flames exploded out of the ground, four pillars the size of a skyscraper flew towards Remi's Charizard who was down on the ground.
The four pillars slammed onto Remi's Charizard. Red tilted his cap down, he almost felt bad about this, but he needed to stop these villains.
Remi's Charizard didn't even cry out in pain from the burn. Reukra stopped his flute to admire the carnage, and Cyrus was showing an entirely new emotion.
Was that fear on his face? Reukra thought to himself as he tried to focus on playing his flute to mixed success.
Reukra's playing started once more, and Red's Charizard kept circling over his foe, waiting for Remi's to make another move.
"Come on Charizard!" Remi shouted
"Remember when we took down the cults together, or when we first set our sights on the pokemon league! Remember when we won our first battle, and the moment we were crowned champions! Charizard. Don't you dare give up!"
Remi's Charizard began to stir and stand up while glowing, then every human in the room paused to observe the transformation taking place before their eyes
But, Red's Charizard had no respect for one of the fundamental laws of anime, to respect your opponent's power-up.
Red's Charizard slammed a dragon claw into Remi's Charizard, ending the transformation and causing his foe to collapse into the ground.
Red's Charizard landed with a triumphant THUMP and roared, knowing it was victorious.
Remi fell to her knees, crying out in frustration and anger.
Red walked forward, standing next to her with his Charizard close behind.
"It's over," Red said
"Don't…..." She said with tears in her eye
Red sighed, "Remi, look I'm sorry, but this has to end. Cyrus! Stop this madness, you and your friend must stop now!"
Cyrus sighed and pressed a poke ball on his belt, releasing Dialga.
"Dialga my friend, turn back time to when Red first walked in this room. I want to handle him myself,"
Dialga roared, and a white light coated the room before Red could even do anything.

Meanwhile, Back at the Timeless HQ:
"What do you mean we're in trouble?" Calem asked
"It means to help out someone who is in the base who shouldn't be. All we need to do is encourage them nicely to go back to where they belong, and then we can talk," Zinnia explained
"Well alright, but I don't think you mean nicely," Calem replied
"No. I mean we'll kick their ss" Zinnia said with an eye roll
"Ummm guys, did you hear that?" JN-Ash said
A loud roar could be heard in the hallway
"Yeah…. Listen again," Ashley said
"Any idea where that's coming from May?" asked XYZ Ash
May was about to answer when everyone heard an explosion.
May looked at a phone she had nearby
It was Selene Moon, she had pressed the distress signal on the opposite end of the HQ.

Selene reached for her belt and called out her Vikavolt
Vikavolt flew around in circles, before settling upon his foe.
Before Selene, stood an unfamiliar trainer. Looking pretty stressed and slightly confused
"Look lady, I don't want to fight! I just want to know HOW I got here!" The man said
"WHO ARE YOU?" Selene said
"The name's Red," The man said, trying unsuccessfully to de-escalate the conflict between the two of them.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Selene shouted before pointing at Red who called out a venusaur
"Saur, use vine whip!"
"Bug Buzz!"
The battle had begun, but it was one-sided from the get-go.
Selene's Vikavolt rushed towards Red's venusaur, but Venasurar tightened a vine whip around Selene and her Vikavolt.
Vikavolt tried electrocuting venusaur, but its attempt was in vain as Venusaur wrapped even more vines around both Vikavolt and Selene.
"Now, sleep powder," the man who claimed to be Red commanded his Venusaur
His venusaur complied, and the vines wrapped around a struggling Selene and Vikavolt blossomed and put both of them to sleep.
Red motioned for his pokemon to set the two of them down gently.
Red recalled Venusaur and looked around nervously, clearly stressed out from the situation. But without any alternative, Red kept walking through the halls. Looking for someone to listen to him.

May and Lucas were looking at cameras in the hallways along with the rest of the Ash-Gang.
"Guys, we really need to split up and- oh! There he is! I'll handle hi-" May tried to say
Adult-Ash stopped her from walking forward, "No. The intruder is mine,"
May shrugged, "Fine, but if things look even remotely south for you, I'm stepping in,"
Adult-Ash walked out of the sealed door by inputting a password and walking into the hallway, and then facing off against his foe.
"Who are you?" Adult-Ash asked
"My name is Red, the last girl got really mad when I said that though,"
"Impossible!"
"She said that also,"
"Unless….. Red said he had no counterparts, but he could have been wrong…"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I know! Face me in battle, and if you are even comparable to the Red I know, I'll know you're his counterpart, I think it'd be impossible for one of the boss's counterparts to be a bad battler,"
Red smirked, "Now that's a plan I can get behind! Let me show you how I'm the strongest trainer in the world!"
"Oh you sweet summer child," Adult-Ash said as he reached for a poke ball.
"Let me show you one of my most impressive partners!" Adult-Ash said
"Likewise!" Red said
Adult-Ash threw out his poke ball, and his Greninja, or a much older and more experienced version of it materialized.
"Let's go, Snor!"
A massive Snorlax emerged, twice the size of any Snorlax Ash was used to seeing. Not to mention, it was ripped. This Snorlax looked like he was in the gym all day, every day.
Adult-Ash smiled, "Been a while since I've seen an opponent of that size! I can't wait!"
"Greninja, water shuriken!"
"Snorlax, block!"
Greninja jumped up and fired off a barrage of sharp water stars that smashed into Snorlax's face.
Snorlax roared and replied with a punch that Greninja sidestepped.
"Greninja, dark pulse!" Adult-Ash ordered
Greninja jumped up and released a black void towards Snorlax who was caught off guard by his attack.
"Snorlax, double edge!"
Red's Snorlax lunged at Greninja at a surprising speed and smashed the frog into the wall before picking up Greninja's dazed form and chucking him towards the other wall before barreling towards him.
Ash responded quickly, "Greninja, let's do our thing!"
Greninja nodded and was quickly enveloped by a torrent of water that sent Snorlax's next attack flying back.
Out of the water emerged Ash-Greninja
"What….. What is that thing?" Red asked horrified
"This? Oh this is just the product of a close bond,"
"What?"
"Greninja, now!" Adult-Ash yelled
Greninja rushed towards Snorlax and slammed a water shuriken turned sword at a speed faster than the human eye could even comprehend.
Snorlax's form fell back slightly, and Greninja used this chance to take another strike.
Greninja jumped up and kicked Snorlax who helplessly tried to grab his foe.
Greninja landed one more strike to the head with his water shuriken turned sword.
Snorlax collapsed towards the ground, landing with an unceremonious THUD.
Ash and Greninja stood as one as Red recalled his Snorlax.
"Well, you certainly take as good of care of your pokemon as your counterpart does," Adult-Ash said happily.
"So… how exactly did I get here?" Red asked puzzled
"I guess Arceus really wants a Red around," Lucas said out of nowhere as he approached the two trainers conversing and offered a hand. "Welcome to the timeless,"
Adult-Ash smiled at Red, "Sorry about the misunderstanding, your appearance just surprised us, to say the least,"
Red just blinked slowly, "Dude, you've gotta show me how your frog can do that,"

Meanwhile back on the pillar…
Cyrus approached Reukra, "I reset the timeline, now I'll handle this one myself,"
Red walked in the throne room, making eye contact with Cyrus as if to say THIS IS THE DAY YOU DIE
If only that were true
