What would Rory's life be like if Chris & Lorelai had gotten married? What would her life be like if her grandparents on both sides were involved in her life from the beginning? Would she have known Logan before she started Yale? This is my story. I am using the character and some personalities of the character portrayed in Gilmore Girls. Of, course I own nothing.

2. Chapter 2

Lorelai Leigh Gilmore-Hayden Chapter 2

Calling a Family Meeting

She told her parents, her grandparents, and her nanny, that she would not be shuffled from house to house nor town to town. She wanted her Papa to buy her a house so that she, Stephanie, Paris, Tristan, Logan, Collin, Finn, and Robert could live in it with their nannies. Robert is Collins's cousin. No one wanted him around but because his mom and Collins's mom are sisters Collin was made to hang with him. Putting him in the group so they accepted him.

Rory was told that she could not live in a house with her friends, not until she went to college, Lorelai added. Rory pouted for a few minutes, then told them that she was living with her Gran-Mère and Papa Hayden. She would be accepting visitors.

Richard and Emily Gilmore did not like that arrangement but were outvoted. Especially when Rory told them she would run away if she was made to continue being shuffled. Lorelai and Chris did not have a problem with this. She would be at the Hayden's if they want to see her.

High School

The summer before Rory, Stephanie, Tristan, and Paris entered high school was spent mostly in the Hamptons with Logan, Collin, and Finn. Everyone could tell that Logan and Rory liked each other but they never got together.

Freshman year of high school found the girls and Tristan returning to Chilton. By the time they were ready to enter their freshman year of high school, Rory, Stephanie, and Paris were very well known. Hanging with the likes of Logan, Collin, Finn, Robert, and Tristian, no one would mess with them. Rory had not seen Logan in two weeks. He had to leave the Hamptons early. The group agreed to meet at the flagpole at school on the first day before class. Rory, Steph, and Paris were there waiting. When it got time for class, they had to leave.

Tristian met them at their lockers with bad news. Logan, Finn, and Collin had been shipped off to boarding school. This broke their hearts. The girls and Tristian were hoping that the boys would show them around. They wanted to play with the big kids. They have always played with the big kids.

As soon as school was out, Rory and Stephanie rushed to the Huntzburger Manor. When the door was opened they were told that Master Logan was away at school. They were just walking back out the gate when Honor pulled up.

She told them that Logan and the crew got caught stealing out of Mithcum's liquor cabinet. He talked to the other parents and decided to ship them off to different boarding schools.

The first year of high school, the Clinton gang would meet up once a week to video chat with the boarding school gang. The boarding school gang came home for the summer but spent most of their time shadowing their fathers.

Rory, Stephanie, Paris, and Tristian made it through high school without Logan, Finn, and Collin. Rory and Stephanie dated different guys throughout high school. Rory and Tristian dated for a couple of months but decided they just wanted to be friends.

When it was time for the boarding school gang to graduate, the Chilton gang were ready for them to come home. They would be attending Yale University. This will be the closest the two groups have been in four years. The Chilton gang was excited. They couldn't wait for the boarding school gang to invite them to college parties. They were in for a surprise. The boys spent the summer touring Europe. They didn't have time for high schoolers. This pissed Rory, Stephanie, and Paris off. Rory decided to spend the first part of the summer in Boston. Her dad remarried and they had a baby, Gigi. She went to Boston after school was out. She dated and hung out with guys from Princeton.

After about two weeks, her dad sent her back to Hartford. Rory was more than he could handle and Sherry, his new wife, didn't have time for her. After spending some time in Hartford she started visiting Lorelai in Stars Hollow. Lorelai had started dating the owner of the local diner, Luke. His nephew Jess was in town for the summer. They got to know each other pretty well.

When it was time for her Senior year at Chilton, Jess went back to New York and Rory went back to Chilton. She met and dated Dean for a little while. He moved to Stars Hollow from Chicago. He would drive to Chilton and hang out with Rory and the gang. Rory realized Dean wanted more of a commitment than Rory did when her college acceptance letters came in the mail. She was accepted to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, and Brown. Dean got mad because she was thinking of going to Harvard or Princeton. Yale did not have the appeal it once had. Logan, Collin, and Finn had hardly talked with them since her sophomore year. She wasn't sure she wanted to go to Yale and had to see them every day.

By Christmas, Rory and Dean were a thing of the past. She had talked her Gran-Mère into letting her live in the pool house. Stephanie's parents were getting a divorce, she moved in with Rory. After spending all that time together, Stephanie talked Rory into attending Yale. This made her Grandma and Grandpa Gilmore happy. Her Gran-Mère and Papa Hayden didn't care, as long as it was an Ivy League school and she was happy.

It was graduation week. Rory, Steph, and Paris were thrilled to finally be graduating from high school. Tristan got sent to Military school their Junior year. This split the group up. The three girls were making plans to spend the summer in Europe. Steph's mom planned to go with them. They planned to leave two weeks after graduation, not coming back until a week before starting Yale.
