I'm sure we're all familiar with this scene. Only difference is that I added some cut dialogue from the movie into it. Also, I promise that future chapters will be longer and not as short as this one and the previous one.
Obi-Wan leapt onto the bank of the river of lava. Vader used the force to keep the platform he was standing on still.
"It's over Anakin! I have the high ground," Obi-Wan shouted as he gestured his hands outwards.
"This old fool really thinks he can defeat me," Vader thought to himself. His yellow and red colored pupils glowed.
"You underestimate my power," Vader said sternly. Obi-Wan didn't want to do this, but he could see now that he had failed his padawan and that he was never coming back to the light side. He tightened his grip on his lightsaber.
"Don't try it," Obi-Wan warned. But Vader didn't heed his warning. Vader let out a war cry as he leapt off the platform and attempted to behead his old master, but missed as Obi-Wan quickly sliced off Vader's other arm and his legs. Vader's lightsaber deactivated and landed behind Obi-Wan. His severed limbs rolled into the lava and were instantly consumed by it. He landed on the hot black colored rocks and quickly used his remaining robotic limb to clutch to the rocks that weren't very strong to stop himself from sliding down the bank into possible doom. Obi-Wan watched as his fallen friend groaned and struggled to keep himself from sliding into the lava. Obi-Wan deactivated his blade and attached it back to his belt.
Anakin's eyes immediately returned back to their normal blue as he came to the realization at what all he had done. What had he done? He couldn't live with himself with all the blood that was on him. He wanted to come back to the light. He wanted help. He looked up to his master who was standing above him and watching him. He let go of the rocks for just a second to outstretch his gloved mechanical hand and said with pleading eyes: "Help me, master."
Obi-Wan winced at Anakin's words. After all Anakin had done, he could not and would not help him. "I love you but I can't help you," Obi-Wan said. Anakin's heart dropped. He now felt hurt and once again betrayed.
Vader's red and yellow eyes returned as did his hate for the person in front of him. Vader's eyes weren't pleading anymore, but he was losing strength to hold himself in place. He continued to let out groans of pain.
"You were the chosen one!" Obi-Wan cried out to the person he once called his brother. "It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them!" Vader tried hard to not let these words reach Skywalker. "Bring balance to the force! Not leave it darkness!" Obi-Wan finished. Vader continued to let out groans of pain as his strength was nearly depleted. Obi-Wan turned around and walked up the bank and bent down to pick up Anakin's lightsaber before turning around to look at him one last time.
"I hate you!" Vader yelled with all his rage. Obi-Wan stood there wishing that none of this had ever happened.
"You were my brother Anakin! I loved you!" Obi-Wan told him. Vader would have laughed at this statement if he could have. If he loved him, he would save him and not walk away from him without finishing the job himself. These words were still heard by Anakin Skywalker and they destroyed him.
The stubs of Vader's legs caught fire from the lava and he let out a cry of pain before looking up at Obi-Wan again. His first thought was to try and roll around to put out the fire, but he couldn't since it was impossible to do so without the required strength and a much safer environment. The fire quickly spread up what was left of his legs and across his body before finally reaching his head. His Jedi attire was quickly set ablaze as the fire then slowly burnt away his flesh. Vader screamed as the fire combusted his skin, hair, and eyebrows. But his rage and hate kept him alive as he watched through blurry vision as Obi-Wan walked away. Vader struggled to breathe. He couldn't do anything. All he could do was wait until the fire went out on its own.
Vader cried out the one name he cared for the most in hopes she would hear him: "Padmé!"
