Ok so I took this chapter down, because I hated it because I rushed it. So I've edited it to make it better. After saying I would have longer chapters in the future, I am going to live up to that but if it comes to it I would rather that the reader have shorter but better written chapters.

Coruscant

Medical Facility

Operating Room

Emperor Palpatine watched as his apprentice was laid down on an operating table. He watched as Vader was slowly put back together by droids by using outdated parts. Palpatine had ordered the droids to use these outdated parts since he knew that the parts would forever cause Vader pain and therefore make him more powerful. They didn't even numb him since Palpatine feared that would further destroy any midichlorians left in Vader's body. His red colored and blistered feeling skin was terrifyingly sensitive to every touch. Vader screamed in agony and stared at the bright blinding light above him as robotic leg replacements were surgically attached to where his knees used to be while other droids began to attach another robotic arm. Vader was then bewildered to feel that the droids were taking off his other robotic arm that he already had. They replaced it with an outdated one, but Vader didn't know the difference.

The Outer Rim

Polis Massa Medical Facility

Padmé was changed into a white patient attire and laid down on a hospital bed by medical droids. She was still unconscious, but soon awoke to a bright light. Her heart sank. She felt that the time for the birth of her and Anakin's child had come. He was supposed to be here with her. She was heartbroken. She felt as though she couldn't live on anymore.

Bail Organa stood in one corner of the operating room while Obi-Wan and R2 stood by Padmé's side. Yoda and 3P0 watched from the other side of a glass wall.

R2 began to record Padmé. He wanted to one day show this to her child as well as the first recording so that he or she would know the truth of their parents. Padmé began to cry out in pain as she pushed. Soon a crying baby could be heard as a medical droid helped Padmé deliver the baby. The medical droid handed the baby to Obi-Wan as it spoke in its droid language to try and soothe the baby.

"It's a boy," Obi-Wan told Padmé.

After the droids were done putting Vader's robotic limbs together, they began to dress him in a black cybernetic life support suit. The life support suit had a control panel that was glowing with different colored buttons on it in the middle of it. The life support suit also had a codpiece. They then put a mechanical belt around his waist. They put a grey and black colored shoulder pad that went from shoulder to shoulder on him, then a black robe that had a chain going around below his neck on top of the shoulder pad to hold the robe in place along with a black cape that was under his shoulder pad. Then they put black gloves on his robotic hands and black boots on his robotic feet. Finally, the droids began to put a black 3 piece perfectly symmetrical mask on him. First, the piece that had a breathing apparatus in the middle of it was put around Vader's neck first.

"Luke," Padmé said, naming her and Anakin's child. Her voice was barely above a whisper. Obi-Wan held the child and carefully bent down so Padmé could see him more clearly. Padmé smiled sadly as she observed Luke's features. She gently stroked his cheek with one finger. Luke immediately stopped crying and didn't struggle to open his eyes to look at his mother.

"Oh Luke," Padmé said, observing her son's blue eyes that looked just like his father's. Padmé winced at the same pain that she had just got done enduring. She was confused, but it immediately came to her. She was having twins! She didn't know that! Padmé was even sadder than before now. Not only did her husband turn to the dark side and break her heart and give birth to one child that she wouldn't be able to raise, but she was going to have a second. The medical droid said the same thing to the second child as it did Luke as Obi-Wan handed Luke to Bail. Luke began to cry again as he was handed over to Bail.

"It's a girl," Obi-Wan told Padmé as he took the girl into his arms and bent down again so Padmé could see her as well. R2 was given even more reason to record since now there were two kids that were the offspring of his master and best friend.

"Leia," Padmé said, naming her second child. She stroked Leia's cheek as she had done Luke. Leia, like Luke, stopped crying at her mother's touch and opened her eyes to see her. Padmé saw that Leia shared her features. This was all too much for Padmé. Without even knowing how to and knowing what exactly was going on, Leia reached out to her mother by using the force. Leia could sense her mother's sadness and so she began to cry again. Obi-Wan, with the help of Yoda immediately began to shield Luke and Leia's force signatures so Darth Sidious could not sense them.

Padmé could feel her own life beginning to fade away with every passing second. She knew she couldn't live anymore. She moved her hand up to her throat and was thankful to feel the japor snippet that her Ani had given to her so long ago. The medical droids didn't take it off when they were changing her since somehow they didn't notice it. She began to feel its shape with her fingers as she closed her eyes.

The second piece of the mask was beginning to be slowly lowered onto Vader's face. He anxiously was already staring through the lenses that were tinted black from the outside, but were red on the inside. When it was in place, he could now only see everything in the color red. The last piece of the mask was attached to the second with a hissing sound, but was then immediately followed by two intimidating mechanical breathing sounds. The inhaling and exhaling. Vader shuddered at the now new sound of his own breathing after hearing it for the first time.

"Oh Anakin," Padmé whispered to herself, but was still heard by Obi-Wan and everyone else in the room and the ones on the opposite side of the glass wall. How did it come to this? Why did it come to this? She continued to hold the japor snippet as she opened her eyes to look at Obi-Wan.

"Obi-Wan?" Padmé said. Obi-Wan looked at her as assurance that he was listening to her.

"There's good in him," Padmé said, believing it. Obi-Wan hadn't told her what had happened to Anakin and he wasn't going to since he could sense her force signature fading. He didn't want her dying believing that Anakin had died on Mustafar, because Obi-Wan and Yoda could sense that he wasn't.

"I know…" Padmé started, but was struggling to hold on. "I know….there's," She continued, but stopped to inhale her last breath. "..still," and with that Padmé exhaled her final breath. Luke and Leia continued to cry. Padmé died while holding the japor snippet in her hand. 3P0 watched in sadness as she passed away.

Palpatine smiled evilly as he sensed Amidala's death through the force as well as not sensing another force presence. This meant that Palpatine had been successful. He had turned the Chosen One to the dark side, got rid of Skywalker's wife by using Vader, and in the process the child had passed away with her. So now no one would be able to defeat him. Not the Chosen One nor his deceased offspring, no opposing politicians that disagreed with him, not any of the Jedi that possibly remained alive throughout the galaxy, no one.

Palpatine stood next to the operating table that began to slowly rise. He watched as his apprentice didn't move, but kept looking up and then forward when the table had finished rising. Vader was still in agonizing, but tolerable pain. His mechanical breathing was constant, always going on in the same cycle. His robotic hands were restrained to the operating table by durasteel restraints. Palpatine leaned forward a little and asked: "Lord Vader. Can you hear me?" Vader waited until he inhaled before responding.

"Yes, master," Vader replied obediently, exhaling. Vader painfully and slowly turned his head to where he heard his master's voice.

"Where is Padmé?" Vader asked, worried. How was she going to look at him the same way now that he looked like this? He decided he would deal with it when the time came. Palpatine kept a straight face, but kept himself ready at any possible outburst that may be done on him by his soon to be angered apprentice.

"Is she safe? Is she alright?" Vader asked, now starting to feel anxious as his master didn't answer.

"It seems, in your anger, you killed her," Palpatine lied. Palpatine felt as if Anakin Skywalker was no more within Darth Vader.

"I? I couldn't have," Vader said, more to himself. She had to be alive! He still sensed her life force before his duel with Obi-Wan. He reached out into the force to confirm his master's words for himself. Her precious life force was no longer there. She was gone. He killed her. No! Skywalker did, not him!

"But she was alive! I felt it!" Vader screamed, in denial. Palpatine took a single step back as Vader began to groan in both physical and mental pain. Everything around them began to break and shatter as Vader broke out of his restraints and walked onto the floor. Palpatine smiled evilly. Vader bent back slightly while everything hurt.

"No!," Vader yelled, his voice carrying for a couple of seconds. Vader fell to his robotic knees, not reacting at the pain of doing so. Vader started to cry underneath his mask. His salty tears burning his still burnt cheeks.

"No," Vader said to himself softly, but his mechanical voice made it sound loud. Vader began to become unstable. Vader quickly stood up and turned around to face his master and force pushed him into the durasteel wall behind him. Palpatine let out a groan of pain as he struggled to get up on his feet. When he did, Vader reached out with his robotic hand and began to force choke his master. He didn't care about anything anymore. He had nothing left to lose.

"You told me you could save her," Vader said with a look of something akin to anger but much more scary to the average person.

"In your..rage you chose...a different path," Palpatine replied. Vader let go of his master, sensing he had much to say. But then Vader thought to himself: "Why do I even care what this old fool has to say?" Palpatine finally reached up to his throat to rub it.

"Padmé...is dead, my friend. Even the power of the dark side cannot bring her back. "But there has to be some way," Vader thought.

"But in her death, she has given you a gift," Palpatine explained. "Pain," his yellow and red eyes staring into Vader's dark tinted lenses. A couple of Vader's cycles of breathing went by.

"Now...you must choose. Will you accept that gift? Will you use it...or will you die?" Palpatine asked. Vader honestly didn't care if he died or not. He had nothing. But Vader then immediately thought back to what he had thought of a few seconds ago.

"There has to be something out there that can bring my angel back. After everything I have seen and experienced, anything's possible."

Vader decided that right then and there that he would never stop trying to resurrect his beloved wife nor would he ever move on from her death. He would never accept the fact that he would never see her again. The same went for his unborn child. Once he had his family again, he would destroy Palpatine and take his name as the new Emperor of the galaxy.

"I...will live," Vader replied. Palpatine was pleased to hear this response.

"Good," Palpatine said. He still had to make a point though.

"And now…" Palpatine began before lifting and shooting force lighting out of his fingertips into Vader who fell to one knee enduring unbearable pain. He groaned in agony. Palpatine cackled. After a few seconds Palpatine stopped. Vader struggled to lift his head to look up at his master.

"You didn't really think I would let you strike out at me like that wouldn't you Lord Vader?" Palpatine asked. Vader didn't respond. The only response Palpatine got was Vader's mechanical breathing.

"The next time you do something like that again, I will not hesitate to destroy you. But no worries, because you will never have another outburst like that against me again. Do you understand my young apprentice?" Palpatine asked, reminding and putting Vader back into his place.

"Yes, master," Vader replied obediently.

Thanks for reading this...again possibly. Sorry for like a month's wait just to see the same chapter again, but I promise that you won't regret it! Leave a review if you want to, it doesn't really matter to me.
