Last time: Ikari paid a visit to Sasha and hurt Sasha, but not the baby. The others came up with a plan to rescue Sasha.
Now: Sasha faces down Ikari.
Chapter 4- Prisoner
Ikari returned to Sasha's cell many hours later. Sasha was resting on her side with her back to the door on the hard metal bunk, trying to get some form of sleep. Next to her on the floor was the discarded tray of food she had been given when she first woke up. The water cup was empty, the bowl was still relatively full, and there were at least two uneaten ration bars left on it. She had given up a while ago trying to eat the bowl of porridge as it wouldn't stay down. She did, however, manage to eat at least one of the expired ration bars. It was hard as stone and tasted sour when she was able to chew it, but the bar managed to not make her throw up… for now.
When the cell door opened, Sasha turned her head from the bunk to see Ikari enter. She was alone this time. No droid and no Mendax. Sasha turned her head away and didn't bother acknowledging the Sith. Ikari stopped a few feet from the bunk as Sasha could see her shadow looming over her.
"You didn't eat your food," Ikari stated, annoyed.
"It wasn't edible," Sasha spat.
A low growl came from Ikari. Then suddenly, Ikari's hands grabbed Sasha and rotated her around on the bunk so she was facing her now flat on her back. Sasha winced as she grabbed the injured shoulder and pinned her to the bunk.
"You will eat or I will Force it down your throat," Ikari threatened. "I can't have you starving yourself to death and killing the child. So eat!"
Sasha glared up at her. She then with her hands still bound, pushed up and shoved Ikari away from her. Despite her situation, she still had enough physical strength to do that. Ikari moved off, visibly pissed, but didn't stumble away. As soon as she was off, Sasha got up from the bunk and stood before Ikari. In that moment she realized something she hadn't before, Ikari was shorter than her by a good few inches. Cien was shorter than her too, but at least Cien wore boots that gave her the height she needed and stood tall everywhere she went. Ikari on the other hand wore boots with a small heel and looked more like an angry child. It caused Sasha to smirk at that, but just for a second then it faded.
"How do you expect me not to starve when you are feeding me expired and rotten scraps?" Sasha asked, sternly as soon as she was up. "My body physically cannot take it right now. I need actual food if I am to help my child grow. You can treat me like a prisoner all you want, but if either of us are wanting my child to be healthy when they are born, then I need real food. Do I make myself clear?" She put her foot down in a way she hadn't done since her days at the bar all those years ago. It felt good to do it again. Especially against Ikari.
Ikari stared at her incredulously before chuckling under breath, almost mynically. Her chuckling turned to laughter like she had lost her damn mind. Then the laughing died down and Ikari lashed out with a punch to Sasha's face. Sasha brought her arms up and blocked it to the best of her ability. The punch connected with her arms and pushed her back an inch. As she moved her arms to get into a more defensive stance, Ikari reached out and grabbed Sasha's wrist, just below the binders. Her grip was tight and caused Sasha to drop her guard as she pressed on the pressure point. Slowly she started turning the wrist in the wrong direction. Sasha gasped as she tried to escape her ironclad grip. The binders weren't helping either as they rubbed against her bare skin as her wrist was twisted further and further. It got to a point where if Ikari took it another inch or two, her wrist would snap. Ikari then leaned in close.
"How dare you talk to me that way," Ikari seethed. "I am the Empress here, Jedi scum, and you are my prisoner. The food I give you is what you will eat. You don't get to make demands here, And if you dare talk to me again like that," Ikari didn't twist her wrist further as Sasha had expected. Instead, with Sasha at an awkward angle as she was struggling in her grip, Ikari's leg kicked out and connected with Sasha's knee causing her leg to turn inward as something was knocked out of place and her knees to buckle out from under her while Ikari kept her grip on Sasha's wrist. The kick caused her to nearly scream in agony, but she managed to hold her tongue. Sasha then landed on her knees with a hard smack and yelped at the impact. Ikari then leaned in close to Sasha's ear. "I will cause you more pain than you have ever felt in your life. Starting by breaking more than just your leg," she then finished the twist and the wrist snapped. "Or your wrist. Do I make myself clear?"
Sasha had tears in her eyes as Ikari released her now broken wrist. After a moment, Sasha nodded.
"I'm glad we have come to an understanding," Ikari said as she stalked past Sasha and back towards the door. "Now eat your food as you won't be receiving another anytime soon." Sasha didn't say anything as Ikari reached the door. "Oh and just so you know." Sasha looked up at Ikari through tear filled eyes and a glare. "The pain I inflict isn't always physical. I hope your weak little mind can take it." With that Ikari left.
Sasha watched her go, still glaring, before crumbling to her side in agony. Her right wrist was broken and her right knee was most likely dislocated. Either way, the pain burned through her body as she lay in a heap on the floor. She was grateful that the baby wasn't affected, but her body wasn't too happy with her decision to back-talk Ikari. Knowing there was nothing she could do for her wrist at the moment, Sasha reached down with her left hand and using the floor as an aid, she snapped the knee back into place. A gasp and tears broke from her as she recoiled from the action of relocating her own knee.
Sasha didn't know how long she laid there, crying on her side in severe discomfort and pain, but after a while it subsided enough for her to fall asleep.
Ikari walked with a sense of pride at what she had just done as she strode through the Bloodstorm towards the throne room. Her throne room now. Watching the little Jedi break like that was just too enjoyable for her. She wished she could have done more to torture the brat. However, she had plenty of time to dish out whatever she pleased and once the kid would be born then she was in for a real treat. Entering into the throne room, Ikari noticed Mendax was in there already, finishing up a call.
"Darinus, how goes the preparations for our attacks on the rest of the Unknown Regions?' Ikari asked him as she approached and as he ended the call.
Mendax looked at her and gave her a small smile as he pocketed his commlink. "Excellent. In a week's time we will be ready to move out and take control of it all as planned. Then we can move inwards towards the core systems," he said as he then gathered her into his arms. "And how is our prisoner?"
Ikari huffed. "Being stubborn," she said, annoyed. "But I put her in her place. She will think twice before she dares talk to me like that again." She then growled. "That wench has no respect for me."
"She will learn it in time, my Empress," Mendax soothed. "I know that she will fear you and show you the respect you deserve. Soon the whole galaxy will."
She smiled up at him before pulling him for a kiss. "Shall we retire for the evening?" She suggested.
"Indeed," he said.
Mendax pulled away from the embrace and held his arm out to her. She linked arms with him and together, they left the throne room.
Ikari is the worst! Review!
