Nigel was sitting at the kitchen table in the morning eating pancakes while also reading the Global KND Gazette, Rachel was sitting next to him while resting her head on his shoulder reading it with him and drinking some milk chocolate
Hoagie and Abby entered the kitchen and saw the scene before them
"Ohhh… I want to… but I don't want to sound disrespectful to you two…" said Numbuh 2 trying to contain himself
Nigel sighed "If it's eating you so bad I suppose you can do it one time, Don't get used to it"
He started to sing "Nigel and Rachel sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G"
Nigel frowned "Instant regret"
Numbuh 5 sat in front of Rachel smiling at her then giving her a High-five "Good job girl"
"Thanks" she blushed a little from the attention but then looked around "Where is Fanny? I wanted to tell her the good news"
"Numbuh 5 passed by their room, they were sleeping like a rock" said Abby
"Weird, those two usually wake up early in the morning to do exercise and train together before breakfast" Rachel said while putting some syrup on a pancake
"Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 were snoring when I tried to call them for breakfast" Said Numbuh 2 while cutting a pancake and eating it with a fork
"This is normal for Numbuh 3 but Numbuh 4 wakes up early to practice with his training dummies" Said Nigel
"Maybe they were kissing the whole night and forgot to sleep" Said Numbuh 5
Everyone kinda agreed with Abby's theory and dismissed the topic
About one hour later all four operatives had entered the room, they were still very sleepy, they each picked some of the leftover pancakes for themselves and ate it quietly.
Fanny looked at Rachel over from her chair while she ate a pancake and saw she was hugging Nigel's arm and reading the news with him "Hey, you made it, congratulations Rachel" She gave Rachel a thumbs up, She tried really hard to sound ecstatic for her friend but she didn't catch much sleep this night
"I knew you could do it Rachel…" Numbuh 3 was resting her elbow on the table while trying to stay awake drinking some chocolate milk
"Wow you must have spent the entire night making out, you guys are exhausted" said Rachel
They gave each other a quick glance in understanding
"Yeah… it was good to spend some time alone… it seems it did you some good too" Patton smiled at Rachel while he ate his pancakes
Numbuh 4 Yawned while he ate his pancakes as well "I think i'm gonna sleep a bit more after this…"
Suddenly an alarm went off signaling everyone in the treehouse to go to the Communication room
When they entered the room Numbuh 65.3 face was being projected on the main console while he waited for everyone to gather up
"Numbuh 65.3 you had my number, I told you if there was any problem you could call me" said Rachel a bit confused
"This is more of a news report I was asked to deliver and something I found too funny not to be delivered to Numbuh 1 and you Ma'am" Numbuh 65.3 started snorting
She looked at her friends really confused this time "What do you mean?
"So did you know last night our friends Numbuhs 3, 4, 60 and 86 decided to go on a trip to the moon?"
Rachel and Nigel looked at their friends with a disapproving look "You don't say… And what did they do exactly?" Nigel asked
"Your friends got caught on camera sneaking inside KNN provisional office on the moon and shaving the heads of several operatives while they slept, revenge for yesterday's gossip panel I'm sure, not only that but it seems Numbuh 3 got in direct combat against Numbuh 10 and although she didn't shave her head she most certainly did win, this is footage from five hours ago" Numbuh 65.3 proceeded to show in a second screen right next to the main one Numbuh 10 dangling from the ceiling of the provisional studio upside down holding her skirt with broccoli stuffed inside her mouth
Numbuhs 1, 2, 5 and 362 looked at Kuki open-mouthed in disbelief
"What? I said I wanted revenge" She crossed her arms
"Well you don't need to worry about any punishments for now at least" He started snorting again
"What do you mean? Say it at once" Numbuh 86 started tapping her feet in anticipation
"Not Numbuh 10 nor any KNN operative filed a report on you guys for now, in that case it can be viewed as just a prank and dismissed completely if they file it though it could be 3 weeks in arctic prison for invasion plus one extra month for Numbuh 3 for attempted poisoning, I only contacted you guys because Numbuh 10 asked me to"
"Hmmm… she must want something in exchange for her not filing a report on you four the question is what could she want…" Said Nigel
"Well I'm only the messenger here, good luck you guys, Numbuh 63.6 signing off" the monitor had turned off
Rachel looked at Fanny and Patton angry and in disbelief at their stupidity "You could have punished them using your position in the Organization you know that? You just needed to sign some papers and send their base of operations to Siberia, I would have approved" Rachel crossed her arms
"Sorry, you are right, Patton and I didn't think, we only wanted to get her mad" Fanny and Patton weren't able to look Rachel in the eyes "You can deny everything she tries to bargain in exchange for our freedom" Said Fanny
"What she said, Ma'am, we are so sorry" said Patton
Rachel sighed "I wouldn't be able to enjoy my vacations as much without you two, that's out of question" She gave them both a light punch in the shoulder "Just don't do things behind my back anymore and I forgive you guys, we can even talk about your invasion while eating some ice cream sometime" she smiled at them both
Patton and Fanny smiled at each other "you bet!" they said
"I'm going to assign you two to the worst assignments next month for this, how could you two be so foolish?" Said Numbuh 1
Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 3 were not sad but embarrassed for being scolded by Numbuh 1, they couldn't defend themselves but also couldn't find the right words to say sorry to him
"That said, defeating Numbuh 10? very impressive she may not show it but she is a fighter" he put his hands on their shoulders "Next time you want to try something so dumb at least call the rest of the team" he smiled at them both
"Sorry, we will…" they both said while smiling a bit awkwardly
Suddenly the communication console started to ring, it was Numbuh 10 calling
"Well, there is no use postponing the inevitable, let's see what she wants" Rachel pressed a green button in the console to accept Numbuh 10's call
There was only the sound of water running in the background, then it suddenly stopped and a silhouette appeared from behind a folding screen, It was Numbuh 10, she had just left the bath you could see her figure while she was drying herself with a towel from behind the folding screen
Rachel, Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 86 covered their respective boyfriend's eyes at that same moment while looking at the screen in anger, Numbuh 5 did the same with Numbuh 2
She left the folding screen wearing a bathrobe and sat in front of the screen "Sorry about that girls, I worked quite the sweat before going to sleep today, isn't that right Numbuh 3?" she laughed
All of them uncovered the boy's vision
"We should do it more often" Kuki giggled
"I pass… well I didn't come here to talk about it, I'm happy you four fell right into my trap"
"What is your angle here cousin?" Asked Nigel
"Yesterday's broadcast did good Numbers we stayed in first place in the audience the entire show, but not as much as an episode talking about the Romance Between the Current Supreme Leader and The Son of Numbuh Zero would…" She gave them a scheming smile while rubbing her hands
"I see where this is going…" Rachel said while pinching her forehead
A kid with a shaved head entered the communication room at that moment with a paper in hand and handed it to Rachel before taking his leave "I will be waiting at the door Ma'am"
"There are… regulations from the rules in the main organization that say we from KNN have to ask permission from the Supreme Leader if we want to make something about her, especially if it's something that can create a fuss" Said Numbuh 10
"I see…" Rachel could hear Numbuh 10 but was focused on reading the contract
"If you sign it I leave happily to my office to prepare the reportage about you two if you don't I file a complaint against our four friends here and they spend the rest of their vacations in arctic, do you understand?"
"Uh-huh…" She kept reading the contract "Is this a one-time thi- oh here it is, yes it is, it would be troublesome if it wasn't, yeah… seems legit" Rachel pulled a pen from her pocket and signed the contract
"My spies have been following you two yesterday, I will be sure to cut the compromising parts about the truce for the sake of good relations with you and central command" She looked at her wristwatch "Well it's my time to leave, Bye boys…" she waved at them while speaking in a seducing but comic way
All the boys in the room tried averting their gaze while they blushed "uhhh… bye Numbuh 10" they said
Alright! That's it for today!" Fanny rushed to the console and pressed the finish call button with enough strength to break the button "I should have shaved her head first that little…"
After that, the kids left the comm room and returned to the kitchen
"Sorry again for causing trouble to you Numbuh 362" said Numbuh 4
"That's alright, I was feeling a bit left out on the whole having your love relationship exposed to the entire world thing" she laughed as she handed the contract to the boy with the shaved head "But please don't do that again, as much as I hate when Numbuh 10 does this kind of stuff she still is doing only her job as a Sector Leader"
Numbuh 1 kissed her on the cheek "See? I wish you all had this kind of self-control"
"That's bull, whenever they do something that annoys her she gives them a super hard mission as vengeance" Patton sat at the kitchen table to finish his breakfast
"Anyway… with that out of the way, what do you guys wanna do today?" Rachel quickly tried to change the subject
"It's hot today and I picked my swimsuit yesterday, I'm not going to spend a Vacation without going to the beach" Said fanny
"That's a great idea, I could teach Numbuh 4 how to swim" Kuki Hugged Wally while smiling at him
"No deal, forget it" he crossed his arms
"I'm joking dummy, I know you are afraid of the water" she walked with Numbuh 4 to her room to get her clothes
"Am not!" he said while following her
"Drilovsky, do you have your stuff?" Fanny said while walking with her boyfriend to the bus where her clothes were stored
"They're in the bus too" they both left the kitchen
Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 5 had left for their respective room as well
"Come on, I left my stuff in your room earlier before we went to breakfast" Rachel grabbed Nigel's hand
"Uhhh… wait, are we going to change in the same room?" Nigel blushed
"Only if you want" she laughed "But seriously now, you just need to change while turned away from me and i do the same" they both entered his room, Rachel released his hand while she approached her stuff sitting at the end of Nigel's bed and looked for stuff she brought from home
Nigel just picked his shorts from a drawer while Rachel picked her swimsuit both looking at opposite sides
"I said it as a joke but seriously now, don't turn or I'm going full Fanny on you" Rachel Undressed herself and started putting on her swimsuit, she was playing it cool when Nigel said it but it was really embarrassing when she realized the situation she was in
"No problem" he laughed noticing the tone of her voice "Not as confident now huh? he had finished taking off his clothes and putting on his shorts
Rachel finished putting on her swimsuit "Yeah… sorry about that, you can look now"
Nigel turned around to see what his girlfriend was wearing
Rachel was wearing a green tank-top and a yellow skirt with orange flowers. "How do I look?"
"It looks good on you" he hugged her and planted a kiss on her lips "Let's go see if the others are ready"
When they reached the main hangar there was Numbuh 2 was loading in the back of the bus things for their day at the Beach, they also noticed Numbuh 4 with a slap mark across his face but smiling and Numbuh 3 talking with him while giving a few giggles they were both in their beach attire, Wally had an orange short and floaties on both arms while Kuki had a Purple one-piece swimsuit, Numbuh 5 was there too laughing at Wally
"Did he peek?" Rachel chuckled at the scene
Kuki giggled "Yeah… I take it as a compliment so I'm not mad at him but I did say at the time he shouldn't look"
"You are too soft on him, Patton would be going to ICU by now" Fanny said While coming out of the Bus following Patton He had a red Hawaii shirt over a green shirt with orange shorts while she was wearing a green tankini
"Was it worth it?" Patton asked Numbuh 4
Numbuh 4 didn't answer but the smile in his face said it all
They all went inside the bus after Numbuh 2 finished loading up their stuff inside, Numbuh 2 turned on the ignition and left the treehouse for the beach
Midway through this one I thought about making it a smut but ff seems to have some problems with smut fics so I'm thinking about doing a smut version of this one but with less story in AO3 after I finish this one and use ff for the more SFW fics like this one, i'm also changing the rating to M to not get in any trouble.
