His mind swirled with images and thoughts. He groaned moving his hand to touch his face, his eyes still shut tight from the pulsing pain he felt in his head. 'Ow… wait the guys?!' His eyes shot open as he shot into a sitting position on the bed. "Bruce, no!" He groans touching his head at the loudness of his own voice, his brain still rattling from the blow he took earlier.

"Whoa! Whoa! Calm down!" A hand grabbed his gently as he looked into the emerald eyes of Johan surprise written on his face. He took a quick look around the room. It was the nurses office. Syrus and Chazz occupied the other beds both having ice packs on their now bruising bodies with Nurse Fontaine checking them over. Jim and Hassleberry were the only ones missing.

"You collapsed afterwards. Thankfully your a lightweight otherwise me and Jim would've had to carry you gurney style." Judai's chocolate eyes returned to Johan's face. His ivory skin looked dulled under the not so bright lights of the nurse's office.

Before he could say anything Nurse Fontaine came to his bedside. "Alright Mr. Yuki let's see the damage." She exams his face noting the purple bruising on his face from Bruce's punch and his broken nose. She nodded her lips pursed as she began to speak.

"Alright let's get that nose reset and then get a bandage over it." She gently placed cotton balls in his nose for the bleeding as she put her thumbs on either side of his nose the brunette jumping at the pain. "Mr. Yuki I have to reset your nose. And since Mr. Cook already stated no ambulance." Judai dropped his head at her response.

He then felt warms hands put pressure on his shoulders as he looked to see Johan give a supportive smile. "I got him Mrs Fontaine." Judai clenched the sheet under him as Nurse Fontaine returned her thumbs to his nose. "1…2… 3!" At three she cracked his nose back into place with Judai nearly jumping out from under Johan's grip. But the transfer was much stronger than he was and kept him from jostling around and make it worse.

"Ahhhh! Holy mother of Christmas!" He cursed his hands about to touch his face but then realized before they touched that it would hurt even more and dropped them to his lap, forming fists on his dark pants.

"We heard screaming. You alright, Sarge?" Hassleberry came in just then, in his arms were wrapped sandwiched and drinks while in Jim's hands were some chips. "E-everything hurts!" Judai whined tears pricking his eyes as he looked at the duo as Chazz and Syrus focused on what was going on in the room, having been lost in their pain.

Johan chuckled softly rubbing Judai's back in a comforting gesture as the nurse applied a nasal bandage to his nose. "He'll be okay but that bruise is gonna be a while… Yikes it nearly covers half of your face.." Johan grumbled at the last part as his eyes dart from Judai's to Chazz's bruising on their faces.

Jim shook his head slight anger pouring off of him but it instantly vanished as he walks over pass Judai's bed to Chazz and Syrus. "How about you two? You Mates faring much better?" Chazz had a ice pack to the back of his head for the pain from getting whacked with the lunch tray, the bleeding had already stopped before the group got to the nurses office.

"Shallow cut on my skull, but I'll be okay." Chazz looks up at the tall Australian who's eyes wander to Syrus who had bandages wrapped around his stomach and chest from the bruising. "Gonna… have trouble catching my breath for a while… but I'll be okay.." Syrus sucked in a shallow breath taking it easy.

Judai looked at the clock and leaped off the bed in shock. "Ahh! Gyms gonna start!" Hassleberry and Johan together shoved the over excited Judai back on the bed. The brunette in question looked at them in confusion. Both males looked at Judai their gazes full of concern and left no room for discussion.

"We…aren't going are we…?" He caught on real quick looking down dejectedly. Johan shook his head plopping on the bed next to Judai. Nurse Fontaine spoke up. "I told your coach that you three were in a fight and since you three ended it I just told him to excuse the 6 of you for the day." Judai looked down ashamed. As much as he was an outcast he hated when other worried about him. He tried to make things easier for himself and his friends.

Jim nudged his shoulder. "Buck up, mate. Me and the boys got you guys some nice sandwiches from across the street since those jocks ruined your lunch." The three injured boys had wondered why Hassleberry and Jim were holding the stuff in question.

Chazz was at a loss for words, Syrus looked surprised and Judai nearly choked up at the kindness. The nurse soon gave her okay for the three injured boys to leave as the 6 together found a quiet place in the courtyard in between classes to eat the gifted lunch the transfers bought.

Jim and Hassleberry passed out the sandwiches drinks and chips they still held in their grasps onto the picnic bench as the three outcasts look on in amazement at the sort of stuff in front of them. Each took a random sandwich drink and a bag of chips, while the transfers divided up the rest between each other.

Johan looked at the three as the boys took their first bite of the lunch enjoying the tender and thoughtfulness the transfers were giving them. "So, it's true then… what that blonde bimbo was talking about?" This made the three pause, stricken and somewhat shameful expressions to appear on their face.

"Yes… We've been ignored most of our lives…" Syrus began but Chazz quickly cut him off.

"They don't want to hear our sob story, Sy. Let's just enjoy the lunch." Chazz said defensively. As much as he was thankful for the save the three new students gave when nobody would've done so, he wasn't ready to let them know anything about the trauma they suffered at school.

Judai got Chazz's notion and took a bite of his sandwich again trying to occupy his mouth so he wouldn't be tempted to speak. Hassleberry ruffled his hair slightly shaking his head as he popped open his drink and took a quick swig.

Jim being the good natured amongst the new students cracked a kind smile. "It's understandable you three don't want to talk about it. So we won't. Instead let's introduce ourselves." His grin got a bit wider till it was an open mouth smile. "My name is Jim Cook and from this day forth I'm an Outcast."

The last three words out of Jim's mouth made the boys nearly drop their sandwiches in surprise. All three gaped at the Australian who kept his smile as Hassleberry stood up raising his open soda pop proudly.

"My name is Lieutenant Kenzan Hassleberry! And from this day forth, I am an Outcast!" He took a heavy swig of his soda this time before slamming the plastic bottle on the table in a dramatic display as he sat back down, a wide grin that made his green eyes light up.

Chazz's head drops a little as Syrus is nearly in tears while Judai looked in utter disbelief. Johan with a slight flustered blush on his face out of nerves, jumped up himself. "My name.. is Johan Andersen, I'm an Outcast and I want to be your friend.." he burried his face in his arms as he sat down his ears brimming with redness as he doesn't look up at the three.

Syrus stand up tears pouring down his cold face a bright smile on his face, one that Chazz and Judai only see on him when he plays his instrument. "I'm Syrus Truesdale, and I've been an outcast since Elementary school!"

Chazz looked up as Syrus sat back down next to him before his steel grey eyes looked at the three in front of him. "Chazz Prinston… even tho Im a rich boy, I've been an Outcast since Elementary school…" he was hesitant to introduce himself let alone be nice about it even after these three saved them from the jocks.

Judai was the most reluctant. He would never wish his position on anyone. These three could have any kind of high school experience they wanted. The fact that they came to their rescue even with the threat of being treated the same way as them, made them wonderful and careless people who can't stand others getting hurt.

As if knowing what he was thinking, Johan sat up his voice coming out honest. "We won't regret anything, if that's what your thinking… Anyone who could stand by and watch you three bleed on the ground, doesn't deserve to have their legs…" Johan reached for his chips and opened them to lighten the mood from his threat.

Tears misting his eyes he held his own drink up; a wide smile on his face. "My name is Judai Yuki… I'm not even from America, and I've been an Outcast since my first day." The 5 other boys raised their drinks smiles all around the table, in the frosty chilling air.

The bell soon rang for the next class as the 6 boys return to the inside of the school trying to brush off the chill that the cold gave them. The last two classes of the day were to begin as Chazz and Syrus departed, claiming they would come to fetch Jim and Hassleberry to take them to Band and Art after the 3 finished their science class.

Judai yawned slightly as he sat down in his seat next to his partner, Misawa. The two had nothing in common and was actual more smarter than Syrus, the two often being the top of their respective classes. The three again stood at the front the teacher looking annoyed that there was an odd number of students, so she stuck the three at the empty desk in the middle of the classroom.

She explained they were in the middle of an experiment so that the new students were to just take notes on what she was discussing with the rest of the class. Science went by fairly smooth with Judai assisting Misawa the best he could, when the more academically incline male would actually let him help.

Class soon rang out for the last period and as promised both of Judai's friends came and dragged Hassleberry and Jim in different directions to head to their extracurricular classes. Judai led the way to a giant indoor theater room with a large stage and high bleachers that reached halfway up the room.

"This is the Drama room. And Mrs Bishop is in her office over there." The teachers office was a one room thing where it just showed a mirror, but for the knowledgeable students, it was a two way mirror so she could watch the class if she was on a phone call.

"Yuki! There you are! Glad my star performer could make it. I got a big announcement so hurry hurry." She shoved the two out her office as the two go take seats on the bleachers removing their jackets. Under Johan's, he wore a blue and white vest with a lavender turtleneck.

"Very stylish." Judai did a cheeky grin. As the students came in there was harsh whispers and looks exchanged, the subject being on Johan and Judai. Judai felt deflated hearing the whispers, Johan seeing this patted his shoulder squeezing it which Judai gave a small smile to his bluenette friend next to him.

As the bell rang Mrs Bishop ran out of her office her green hair tied up in a messy bun with a pencil sticking out of it her hazel eyes full of excitement behind her light grey glasses. She was roughly taller than Syrus but probably was a inch or 2 shorter than Judai and about 4 inches shorter than Johan. She wore a flannel top with a blue jacket tied to her hips with black cargo pants and black leather boots.

"Okay class! We're gonna be doing a musical! And we're doing Dear Evan Hansen." she pulls out a tape and the tv that hung on the wall at the back of the classroom came on. "We're gonna check out the broadway version and once we've seen it we're gonna jump into auditions!"

The class clapped excitedly, Judai was just beaming at the thought of doing an American musical. He tend to enjoy them when his mother discovered them when he was a child and the one thing Judai was proud of most was his singing, that's why he was determined to be in drama in high school.

"Sounds like a real blast!" Johan's smile raised a bit. Watching Judai practically bounce in his seat with excitement was amusing to the blue haired male.

After school came and the teens met up in front of the school as the school bus had pulled up. "We'll see you mates tomorrow!" Jim and Hassleberry go to walk off, Johan grabbed Judai's hand for a second as Chazz and Syrus climbed the bus.

"What's wrong?" Judai raised a confused brow at his new friend. Johan's emerald green eyes swam with emotions, none of them Judai could pinned down exactly. Johan looked at Judai. "Have you ever been in the woods since you came here?"

Judai thought it was a strange thing to have mentioned. "M-my parents said I was taken into the woods… and to stay away from it. Why are you asking about it..?" His brown eyes full of concern. Johan let nothing show but he noticed that Johan was twitching, something that had not happened that day.

"Just stay away from the woods! There's things out there.. that are very dangerous." Johan's gaze was intense which left no room for Judai to argue as he nodded wordlessly his eyes drop to the ground between them. Johan touched Judai's shoulder as he passed him the bluenette jogged away to get his ride with Jim and Hassleberry as he jumped into the back of a black pickup truck as Jim drove away.

'He's a transfer right… so how does he know what's in the woods?' This thought crossed Judai's mind as he climbed up into the bus and sat next to Chazz as the school bus pulled away from school.
