(Lumineon breaks from the safety of the reef when another diver rises, blocking him from Finneon. Mantine scoops up the class, hiding them under his belly, and heads to the bottom of the sea, never for them to see again).

Mantine: Get under me, kids! (Finneon swims for his life, but a small net snare him and yanks him away).

Finneon: No, no! Dad! Daddy! (The other diver looms over Lumineon... a bright flash. The diver has taken a picture. Lumineon is without sight temporarily).

Lumineon: No! Finneon! (Lumineon's blurred image of the scuba divers rising to the surface slowly comes into focus. He lands into a rock wall and struggles to catch up to them. Lumineon Screams Completely Hysterical). Finneon, no! Finneon! Finneon! No! No! (But Lumineon is too far away and has no choice but to watch the divers exit the water with his son and exit the boat. The engine starts up. Lumineon is going back by the wake of the propellers as the boat pulls away. By the time the turbulence of bubbles dissipates the boat is gone, leaving only a trail of wake. Lumineon follows it, but there is no way he will ever catch up). Finneon! Finneon! (Above the water, the boat cruises by on the open ocean. The net holding a scared and confused Finneon falls into a cooler of seawater. As the diver closes the cooler, the boat hits a couple chop).

Man: Whoa! Hold on! (The man loses his balance and knocks his diver's mask overboard. Under the surface, the mask plunges into the ocean and tumbles into the mirk. Meanwhile, Lumineon continues to follow the rapidly thinning trail of wake until finally it evaporates completely. He swims back and forth, frantic, trying to find the trail again).

Lumineon: Oh, no... no. No, it is gone, it is gone ― No, it cannot be gone! No, no! (Lumineon takes a deep breath, breaks the surface. The giant ocean swells around him, lifting him up high. But it is gone. He has lost the trail). Finneon! Finneon! Finneon! No, no!
