Finding Finneon Chapter 10 The Abyss

(Cut to morning. Lumineon, asleep, lies inside the diver's mask, his face squashed against the lenses of the mask. Brionne lies next to him, snoring loudly. Lumineon mumbles).
Lumineon: Finneon...Finneon...Finneon... (Brionne Says in her sleep).
Brionne: You going to eat that?... (Slowly, the camera pulls wide to reveal the mask hanging like a hammock from a shard of metal protruding from the sub's bow. The explosions from the night before having dislodged the entire wreck, which now balances precariously over a massive abyss). Careful of that hammer... (Lumineon opens his eyes and finds himself looking straight down into the dark depths below. He jumps back, sees the diver's mask, and touches the writing... before the sub shifts slightly. Lumineon Says Under his Breath).
Lumineon: The mask! What does it say? What does it say? Brionne!
Brionne: That Horsea has my money... (Lumineon shakes her).
Lumineon: Wake up! Get up! Come on! Get up!
Brionne: Yes, I am a natural blue...
Lumineon: Get up! (Brionne jumps awake, unknowingly taking the mask with her. It hangs off her back like a saddle. Brionne Says Blabbering).
Brionne: Aagh! Look out! Giant Pokémon eat Smaller Water type Pokémon! What? Who is it? Aagh! (Brionne's broad actions do the trick, and the sub slides full boar off the cliff... straight towards the two Pokémon. The screaming fish swim for it but run right into the opposing rock wall... too late. The sub slams into the rock wall, consuming the Pokémon in an explosion of dust. As it settles, Lumineon is in shock to find himself and Brionne still alive, spared by inches. Brionne Coughs). Wow. Dusty. (Lumineon notices something is missing and Gasps).
Lumineon: The mask. Where is the mask? (They look down just in time to see the mask disappear completely into darkness. Lumineon dives down after it). No! No, no, the mask! Get it! Get the mask, get the mask! Get it! (The second Lumineon enters the inky black, he backpedals to a more visible depth. Clings to the trench wall, spooked. Brionne swims jauntily past, humming).
Brionne: Woo-hoo! (Lumineon watches her disappear into the darkness as she Begins scatting). It just keeps going on, doesn't it? Echo! Echo! (And then pop back up next to him). Hey. Watch you doing?
Lumineon: It is gone, I have lost the mask.
Brionne: Why did you drop it?
Lumineon: You dropped it! That was my only chance of finding my son, now it is gone! (All Brionne sees is a sad Neon Pokémon, and that just will not do. She makes a pouty face).
Brionne: Hey, Mr. Grumpy Gills... when life gets you down, you know what you got to do?
Lumineon: I do not wanna know what you got to do. (Brionne Sings).
Brionne: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, what do we do, we swim, swim. (Brionne takes Lumineon by the fin, and gently leads him down to the abyss).
Lumineon: Brionne, no singing. (Brionne Begins Opera Singing).
Brionne: Ho ho-ho ho-ho-ho! Well, I love to swim! When you want to swim you want to keep on swimming ―
Lumineon: See, I am going to get stuck now with that song! Now it is in my head!
Brionne: Sorry. (Slowly, everything goes black).
Lumineon: Brionne, do you see anything?
Brionne: Ah! Something has me!
Lumineon: That was me, I am sorry.
Brionne: Who is that?
Lumineon: Who is that? Who could it be? It is me!
Brionne: Are ― are you, my conscience?
Lumineon: Yes, yes, I am your conscience. We have not spoken for a while. How are you?
Brionne: Cannot complain.
Lumineon: Good. Now Brionne, I want you to tell me: do you see anything?
Brionne: I see a... I-I see a light.
Lumineon: A light? (A tiny bright light appears, hovering alone in the darkness).
Brionne: Yes. Over there. Hey conscience, am I dead?
Lumineon: No, I see it too. (Lumineon and Brionne swim into the glow of the light. It is simply a small glowing orb, floating by itself. The orb is mesmerizing. It is as if Lumineon and Brionne are under a spell). What is it?
Brionne: It is so... pretty...
Lumineon: I... I-I am feeling happy...which is important...for me.
Brionne: I want to touch it. (She reaches out. The orb comes to life, dancing like a fairy). Oh!
Lumineon: Hey...Come back...Come on back here. (The orb rises. They follow it).
Brionne: I am going to getcha...
Lumineon: I am going to get you.
Brionne: I am going to getcha...
Lumineon: I am going to swim with you.
Brionne: I am going to getcha!
Lumineon: I am going to be your best friend ― (A large anglerfish silently fades into view. It is horrifying. A Massive creature, a School Form Wishiwashi with huge fangs, and lifeless eyes. The "orb" is stuck was the eye of the Thousand Wishiwashi that Made Up the Monstrosity before them. It was bait, Lumineon and Brionne fell for it).
