Celestia looks down at the lavender pony who has fallen asleep not long after she told her that Twilight's parents and brother wanted Celestia to adopt the purple pony. Twilight's reaction was something Celestia was expecting. After Twilight had a little rant about her parents and brother wanting her to replace them she fell asleep cuddled up to Celestia, reminding Celestia of when she was a filly and had slept in here when she couldn't sleep. Her little sister drifted to sleep not long after Twilight.

Celestia yawns, exhausted from the emotional day but she can't bear to go to sleep, she needs to watch over Twilight.

"Sister, you need your sleep." The voice of her little sister says tiredly. Celestia looks over and sees Luna, awake and looking at her sister. Celestia shakes her head, her multi-coloured mane getting tangled. "Sister, these next few days will be emotional for Twilight, she'll need you more than everypony else, especially if she agrees to the adoption." Luna tells her older sister who concedes and lets her pink eyes close, falling asleep instantly.Celestia is nudged awake by her sister. "Celestia, you need to raise the sun." Her midnight coloured sister whispers as not to wake Twilight who moved closer to Celestia in the night. Celestia sighs, never in all her years of raising the sun, has she not wanted to, until today. Celestia nods before getting off the bed, her heart breaking when she hears Twilight whimpering for her to come back. "I shan't be long, my little pony." Celestia says, pulling a pale pink blanket over the sleeping lavender pony before giving her sister a look. "Don't leave her side until I come back." Celestia tells her before galloping to the closest balcony to raise the sun.

After the sun is slowly coming up in the Equestrian sky, Celestia orders a guard to instruct the kitchen staff to prepare Twilight's favorite meal: pancakes with Canterlot berries, the guard nods, he knows the lavender pony and was a friend of her brothers.

Celestia trots back to her study just as she sees Twilight yawning and her eyes opening, landing on Celestia, a sad smile on her face. "Good morning Princess Celestia." Celestia smiles and embraces the lavender pony. "Good morning my little pony. How are you feeling today?" Celestia asks. Twilight shrugs. "I don't know princess, it seems like it was a dream but I know it wasn't. Everything is just so surreal." The lavender pony says, her ears flat against her head. Celestia nods in understanding.

"It'll get easier my little pony, I promise." Twilight nods before hugging Celestia again as a knock comes on the study door, the Alicorn and unicorn pull away from each other. Luna gets off the bed and opens the bed and opens the doors where a maid comes in with a cart full of covered food.

Using her aura, Celestia levitates the food from the cart to her desk and uncovers it to reveal Twilight's breakfast of pancakes and Canterlot berries. Twilight digs into them, Celestia and her sister watching her with smiles as they eat their own breakfasts.After breakfast, Luna leaves to get some rest while Celestia and Twilight walk around the castle gardens.

"Princess, may I ask you something?" Twilight asks as they walk over to a fountain. Standing on her hind legs, she puts her front hooves in the crystal clear water.

Celestia nods her head and lets the lavender pony speak.

"Were you serious about adopting me?" Twilight asks her head facing Celestia who looks at Twilight with wide pink eyes.

Is Twilight agreeing to the adoption? Celestia's mind asks her. Celestia walks regally towards her student and looks at her.

"I've never been so serious about anything in my existence." Celestia says, Twilight smiles at the princess.

"Does this mean I can call you Mom?"
