Authors notes:when I said about Judai's transformation being slow it's a slow progression here's the progression so far this chapter included 1 his anger spikes more easily 2 the visions/dreams which are gonna progress more and 3 as of this chapter his sense of smell has spiked
Something kept bothering Judai during his English class. He kept smelling something foul… almost acidic and irony. It made his nose twitch with annoyance. With how quiet the room was, it bugged him where the smell could be coming from. 'Does someone have bad gas?' He looked around the room his eyes darting up from the novel on his desk.
Chazz threw him a weird look as did Syrus who looked at each other in confusion over his antics.Normally Judai was more subdue in English class, having his face burried in the book they were reading, trying to understand the material.
This time around his gaze was all over the room and his nose twitching with annoyance and confusion. "Do you guys smell something?" He whispered to his two friends sitting nearby. Chazz and Syrus shared a look again before looking to the male between them.
"No why?" Both shook their head but Chazz was the one to give a verbal response. "Mr. Winston? Can we open a window please?" The English teacher looked up from his desk to the Brunette asking the question. He was a little confused, but he wasn't gonna question one of his more attentive students, despite Judai's track record of sleeping in class sometimes.
"Sure, go ahead Mr. Yuki. Just remember to shut it before you leave." He waved his hand returning to what he was doing on his computer. Judai stood up from his seat went around the desks to the nearest window and shoved it open. Suddenly its as if the smell increased tenfold as it hit Judai in the face, knocking the male off his feet and his head slamming into Chazz's desk.
"Whoa, Yuki! What's up?" The ebony eyed male raised his brow in confusion once again at his friend's strange behaviour. Judai suddenly grew pale as he looked around outside the window. It was a view of the courtyard but nothing was amiss. Yet where was the strange smell coming from?
"M-mr. Winston, m-may I use the restroom?" was his excuse to leave the classroom to investigate the courtyard. It was all he could think of that was plausible for him to leave. Again the not so worried male teacher waved the boy off as Judai fled the classroom, leaving his two best friends confused as they noticed the brunette left his belongings.
Judai keeping pace, rushed down the stairs taking two at a time and attemtping to make sure he didnt trip up or fall on his face. he reached the bottom of the stairs on the main floor and quickly rushed to the double doors that led to the courtyard.
Thankfully nobody was in the halls as he pushed the door open. Once again the smell hit him like a sack of bricks as he looked around to see where it was coming from. He looked carefully through the courtyard following the smell as he rounded the corner and saw in disbelief.
He couldn't believe what was he was seeing. 10 feet in front of him, under the Gazebo was two unconsious girls tied to the beams. Not wasting any time he quickly breaks the gap as his voice cracks up as he realizes who it is tied to the beams. He looked up and saw the classroom's open window.
'Whoever did this, made sure nobody could see the act being done! Whoever did it….Theyre gonna pay!' his thoughts raged in anger as he quickly cried out. "CHAZZ! SYRUS!" It didn take much to make the two quickly appear at the window. "Aniki?? Whats going on??" Syrus called out, the duo having stuck their heads out the window.
"Under the Gazebo! GET THE NURSE!" Those last three words had Chazz and Syrus rush out the door their bags and Judai's in tow as they raced to the nurse's office. Mrs. Fontaine sat at her desk in the middle of eating her salad when the two bust in through the door startling the poor woman. "Ah, Geez! You two sure know how to scare a lady!" she quickly noticed both boys were panting heavily and were stammering trying to get their words out over exhausted breathing.
"Calm down, fellas. What's the problem this time?" she crossed the room and patted both of them on the back as the catched their breaths. "G-Gazebo! Something terrible happened!" Syrus blurted out managing to catch his breath hard enough to quickly explain as the two took the nurse by her hand and rush out the door with her in tow. The three raced through the hallway taking the nearest courtyard door that lead straight to where the Gazebo was.
Once outside they heard Judai's cries as he was talking to someone. "Stella! Blair-chan! Open your eyes!!" Both Chazz and Syrus froze on the concrete steps as Nurse Fontaine rushes to Judai's side who was trying to awaken Stellar who's head was slumped to the side her; body tied to the beam of the gazebo, her wrists bruised and raw with one of her hands having a shallow wound across it. Her legs stomach and chest were half exposed, her clothes shredded and covered in light to nearly dark red welps all over her body, and what looked like whipping marks making shallow cuts all over her.
Blair was even worse off having a head injury and her clothes just as shreded if not worse. She had the same amount of whip lashes and welps on her body, her wrists being just raw compaired to Stellars.
Half dry blood made a streak down the navy haired girl's face and onto her clothes. "Shit…Who could've done this?!" Mrs Fontaine cursed as she quickly untied the girls Judai leaning each girl against him as she got ther legs undone after freeing their hands.
Chazz and Syrus recovered enough to join the two. both let out a harsh gasp at the sight of their female friends. "Whoever did this is gonna pay!" Judai's fist clenched tightly at his sides as he looked down at them.
Mrs Fontaine quickly called up 911 and told them the situation and that both girls were in shock. In no time, the rest of the school was notified of the Harrassment incident. Word spread like wildfire about what could've happened to the two girls, but it was all hot air.
Blair and Stellar were quickly taken into the Ambulances as the three boys and Mrs Fontaine made it to the front of the school to watch them load the two girls into the back of the ambulances. The three boys had given all the info they knew on the girls, ages names birthdates, parents.
The only things they couldn't give was where they live or the numbers to their parent's phones. "Which one of you found them?" One of the paramedics approached the three boys. Judai stepped forward looking at the slightly lean male. "I did… Are they gonna be okay?" Judai's voice cracked under the strain of keeping his emotions in check.
The paramedic gave the boy a smile. "You found them just in time. They're not out of the woods yet, but you kept them from deaths door. Good job." He ruffled Judai's hair as he went to shut the doors. Mrs Fontaine spoke up to the Paramedic who was about to shut the doors to the vehicles.
"Wait! Let them go with you. They're friends with the girls." All three boy's looked surprised at the nurse who smiled at them affectionatly. The paramedic nodded as he held the doors open as Syrus rushed to get in the vehicle with Blair while Chazz and Judai got in the one holding Stellar.
The door shut behind the three as the Ambulances got moving to the Hospitals. The paramedic looked at the two boys. "Either of you know how to contact her family?" The two shook their head but Judai noticed Stellar's phone about to fall out of her torn jeans and quickly fetches it. "Will this help?" He hands the Paramedic the phone after opening Stellar's contact list. It listed her parents with seperate contact info before having Judai's Chazz's and Syrus's info.
"This will definetly help so the hospital can contact her parents." Judai and Chazz didnt answer the woman as they both looked to their unconscious friend on the gurny.
Three bad incidents in a week. Blair gets attacked on Monday, Tuesday Judai fainted at the treehouse and finally Thursday both their female friends get attacked only more severely than the first attempt with Blair. It made the duo sick to their stomach and annoyed the two off to no end.
The ambulances stopped at the hospital and immediately rushed the two girls into intensive care, making the three individuals sit in the waiting room while they praddled away waiting for any news.
They weren't left alone long as Mr Campwell entered the building surprising the three. "Mr Campwell!" Judai approached the male looking at the blue eyed male carefully. "You go to school with my daughter?"
"Yes sir that's right." Chazz came up behind Judai seeing his apprehensive nature about speaking to the father of his deceased bully. His gaze went to Chazz and then to Syrus. "You know how this happened?" The three looked at each other before Syrus spoke up taking the lead.
"We believe it was a severe bullying situation…" The older male gripped his temple pure adrenaline must've made him get there in a hurry as he plopped down into one of the open seats by the door. "On her second day as well…? Who the hell could've done this?"
Chazz sat next to Stellar's father and let out a sigh of his own crossing his leg over the other. "I'm not sure sir. But we're gonna find out. Only Stella and Blair know at the moment." The older man once again sighed running his hands through his hair as another figure entered the hospital.
It was a woman with her hair pinned up in a bun, the hair being Navy blue, with a slim petite figure wearing a black blouse under a heavy coat and tight grey pants with black sneakers. Syrus perked up when he realized who it was. "Miss Flannigan!" Syrus waved at the older navy bluenette as she rushed over hugging the shirt boy.
"Oh, Syrus! Is my little girl alright??" She pulled away looking down at the short boy who came just under her chest. "T-they're seeing her and Stella now.." the Navy haired woman looked surprised. "Stella?"
Mr Campwell's voice caught her attention. "Looks like our girls met and we haven't yet." Miss Flannigan turns to the man sitting down. She took a seat next to him as Syrus sat down next to Blair's mom.
"I'm Howard Campwell, Stellar's father…" He said casually but with slight anxiety. Blair's mom gave a friendly smile, trying to ease the gentleman's nerves. "Christy Flannigan. I see you met the boys." She ruffles each boys hair playfully making Syrus and Judai laugh while making Chazz get bashful.
"I never caught your names tho." He looked at Chazz next to him. Chazz tried to fix his hair as he spoke. "Chazz Princeton, this is Judai Yuki and Syrus Truesdale." Both Judai and Syrus wave to Howard who gave a kind smirk relaxing just a bit.
The two parents turned to talk to each other talking about their daughter's antics when Judai's phone rang. He took the phone from his pocket and not recognizing the number he picked it up casually but carefully.
"Who's this and how'd you get my number?" He spoke into the phone. The person on the other end nearly made Judai drop his phone.
"Judai it's me. Did something happen at school?" Judai fumbled with his phone now embarrassed by his phone introduction. "Johan?? Where are you calling from??" He spoke into it holding the phone with two hands so his now shakey grip wouldn't drop it.
Chazz and Syrus looked at the brunette inquisitively. "A pay phone down the street from the laundry Matt. Jim said he saw ambulances coming from the direction of the school." Johan answered, the bluenette looking out the pay phone door at Hassleberry and Jim who were reloading the truck with their clean laundry.
"Something bad at school… Blair was hurt again only this time there was two victims.." Johan scrunched his eye brows in concern as he listened to Judai on the phone. "You think it's the same girl from the first incident??""Most likely… it was worse this time tho. The nurse said both girls were in shock. They're in intensive care right now. Me Chazz and Syrus got a ride in the ambulances over here." Judai could only shoot sympathic looks to Blair's mother and Stellar's father as he noticed the two listening to his conversation.
"Well there's not much you can do until they wake up… want us to come by and get you guys? It's lunch time already and I doubt you three were at lunch when this happened." Johan offered up a half smile half hidden in his words.
"Let me ask them." Judai put his phone away from his face looking at Chazz and Syrus. "Jim saw the ambulances. Johan wants to swing by and get us and the 6 of us get lunch." Christy stood up and walked to the three of them.
"You boys get out of here. Mr. Campwell and I can call you with an update. Go get some food before you faint." She have a caring smile to the three as Syrus and Chazz nodded to Judai who returned to the phone call.
"Sure, Johan. We'll wait right here." Judai smiled thoughtfully. Johan was smiling as well as he spoke. "Be right there." He hung up the phone and exited the phone booth and walked over to the two leaning against the truck.
"Was I right?" Jim looked up from under his brown leather style hat. Johan looked away as he explained the situation. "Two victims this time. Blair was a target again. Judai… said it was worse." Hassleberry slammed his fist into the side of the car nearly leaving a dent. "The one week we're not at school and everything goes to shit in a hand basket." The Southern boy cursed under his breath, regardless both boys heard him.
"Anyway Let's get to the hospital and pick them up. They have had lunch yet and neither have we." Johan shoved Hassleberry into the Truck as Jim walked around and took the driver seat as Johan hopped in the back. Jim pulled away from the curb and drove in the direction of the hospital.
