The Loud House)

It was Friday at the Loud House and the whole family was eating breakfast, though Lynn Sr was having some trouble trying to feed Lynn.

Luna was sitting beside her big sister, Leni and her baby brother Lincoln. She was helping feed Lincoln his food. She had a smile on her face because she was very excited about Sam coming over today for a playdate.

Lori sees this and spoke, "Geez Lunes, you look really happy and excited today," Lori said.

Luan nodded in agreement, "yeah, because your usually quiet all the time. Why are you happy?" Luan asked.

Rita looked at Luan in a stern look, "Luan! Luna has a right to be happy, don't be mean!" Rita scolded.

"Sorry Luna," Luan apologized looking down.

Luna chuckled, "It's okay Luan, you were just curious and answering the question, the reason I'm happy is because I can't wait for who's coming today," Luna said with excitement.

Leni looked at Luna with confusion, "Wait, someone is coming today? Who is it? Is it a puppy?" Leni asked.

Lori shook her head, "No, Leni. What Luna means is that her new friend, Sam, is coming over today," Lori said.

"Oh, that makes sense," Leni said.

Lynn Sr smiled, "Well, we can't wait to meet your new friend, Luna," then Lynn Sr got food all over him cause Lynn threw it at him, "Oh, come on Lynn! Your brother is behaving and eating his breakfast, why can't you?" Lynn Sr complained while Lynn laughed and clapped her hands.

Rita shook her head at that and then looked towards Luna, "Well I'm glad your new friend helped you with getting over your shyness, how is she getting here by the way?" Rita asked.

Luna then answered, "Oh well, her Mommy is gonna drop her off later and I can't wait for all of you to meet her, especially you little brother," Luna said tickling Lincoln's belly causing him to laugh.

The Loud family then continued eating their breakfast, though Luna was excited for Sam to come over, she couldn't help but feel nervous, because she doesn't want her to feel overwhelmed by her family and leave. Sam was the first friend she ever made.

(Hours later)

A couple of hours later, outside of the Loud House. We see a light blue van park in front of the house, coming out of the car was Sam and her Mom, Alyson S. Sharp. Sam was so excited to see Luna again.

Sam then started to drag her mom to the house, "Come on Mommy, come on! I wanna see Luna again!" Sam said urgently.

Alyson chuckled, "Okay Sam, I'm coming. I'm not as fast as you are," Alyson said.

Once they reached the door Alyson knocked on the door and Rita answered, "Oh, hi and welcome to the Loud House, I'm Rita Loud," Rita said offering a handshake.

Alyson then shook Rita's hand, "Nice to meet you, Rita. My name is Alyson Sharp, and this is my daughter Sam," Alyson said.

Rita smiled, "Well it's an honor to meet you two, especially the girl who helped our little girl not be so shy," Rita said.

Alyson chuckled, "Well Sam has a way with words, she takes after her father," Alyson said.

Rita then looked at Sam, "Luna is upstairs, getting her brother to take a nap," Rita said.

"Thanks, Mrs. Loud," Sam said as she ran upstairs.

Alyson then went inside the house, "So how about we head into the living room and talk? Sorry that my husband didn't come, he has work to do," Alyson said.

Rita nodded, "It's okay, I get it. You and I can chat, mother to mother," Rita said.

"Where's your husband at?" Alyson asked.

Rita sighed, "Right now, my husband is trying to get our baby girl to take a nap and when I mean trying, I mean trying!" Rita said.

Once Sam went upstairs, she looked for Luna and soon hears her voice coming from the second room near the bathroom. She opened it up and she saw Luna rocking her baby brother, Lincoln and singing him a lullaby.

Luna: sleep little brother in baby Dreamland~

With visions of bunnies' puppies and little cats~

And when you wake the day dawn's anew~

And morning shall greet you with a bright and happy new~

Luna then sees her baby brother is asleep in her arms, so she placed him gently on the crib, "Sweet dreams, little brother. Luna loves you," Luna said as she kissed his forehead.

"Aww" said a voice behind Luna.

Luna got startled by that and she saw Sam standing at the front of the room, "Sam, I-I didn't know that you were already here," Luna said nervously a little bit flushed.

Sam smiled, "Luna, that was so adorable and cute! You sang to your baby brother, and he instantly went to sleep in your arms. What you said to him, that was heartwarming, and I didn't know you could sing," Sam said.

Luna chuckled nervously, "My whole family said I sing good, but I don't think I'm good at singing," Luna said.

Sam looked at her in shock, "Not good at singing?! Luna, you have a voice of an angel, and your baby brother was asleep, clinging in your arms. I think you have a beautiful singing voice," Sam said.

Luna blushed at that and smiled, "Thanks Sam, that really means a lot. Thank you," Luna said.

Sam smiled back, "No problem, Luna. Now, shall we get this playdate started?" Sam asked.

Luna nodded in agreement and she and Sam started their playdate.

(Montage)

Luna and Sam started their playdate by playing hide and seek in the backyard, though Sam is a good seeker while Luna is a good hider.

Then they played tag and each of them were equally fast and hard to catch each other.

Then they played some Red-Light Green Light and Luna was actually good at that game.

Then when they were hungry, they had some sandwiches as a snack.

Then Sam met each of Luna's siblings and she found each of them interesting.

She found Lori to be mature for an 8-year-old.

She thinks Leni is sweet, though a little clumsy and doesn't know much.

She found Luan to be a little funny and quite the jokester.

She thinks Lynn is a little hyper and rough as a baby, but aren't most babies like that?

And when Lincoln woke up, she found him to be sweet and a curious little guy.

She even finds it cute at how Lincoln always goes to Luna. Almost like they have a special sibling bond, which is cute and sweet.

Soon it was time for Sam and her mom to return home. They were standing in the front yard and saying their goodbyes.

Alyson then shook Rita's hand, "It was nice talking to you Rita, I enjoyed your company," Alyson said.

Rita smiled, "I did too, and you and Sam can come back to visit anytime you want and vice versa," Rita said.

Alyson nodded, "Of course, and if you and your family need something good to eat, come by to this restaurant I own and I can hook you guys up with a good meal," Alyson said giving Rita a coupon for a restaurant named the Burnt Bean.

"I'll keep that in mind," Rita said.

Sam sighed, "Well, looks like it's time for me and my Mommy to go home," Sam said.

Luna looked down in sadness, "I wish you could stay a little longer, but I know you have to go home," Luna said sadly.

Sam sees this and spoke, "Hey, don't worry Luna. We'll see each other again soon. I know we will, and we can have more fun," Sam said.

That made Luna a little happy, "Your right Sam, we will see each other. I'm just gonna miss you," Luna said.

"Me too, Luna," San said.

Then they heard Sam's Mom, "Come on Sam, it's time to head on home," Alyson said.

"Coming Mommy," Sam then turned towards Luna and hugged her "See you soon Luna. Your my best friend," Sam said.

Luna blushed at the hug and then she hugged Sam back, "Your my best friend too, Sam," Luna said.

They soon broke the hug and Sam followed her mom to the car. Luna watched as they drove off, though Luna felt a little bit warm when Sam hugged her and complimented her singing.

Luna couldn't understand, 'why do I feel so warm in my tummy when Sam hugged me? Am I getting sick? I need to talk to my Mommy and Daddy about this later,' Luna thought to herself as she went inside the house.
