Review responses:
BraveStar of ThunderClan: The creator of the original story TheSkyClanCat, actually does stories where Firestar is the main character all the time. If you like that type of story, then go check them out.
TheSkyClanCat: Yeah, I intend to keep this in Firestar's POV, but I will switch to Cherrypaw every few chapters, like in a training situation.
Author's Note:
I updated, because I had nothing better to do. Plus, the original author reviewed and told me to keep it up. What else would I do? XD
"I DID WHAT?!"
A yowl sounded from across the camp, signifying the panic of the she-cat who yowled. In response, Firestar cringed. Ashpaw must have told her about it already... can she really yowl that loud, though?
Traveling across the camp, he arrived at the apprentices' den. Currently, Molepaw was out hunting with Rosepetal. However, both Ashpaw and Cherrypaw were here. Before her transformation, Cherrypaw was about the same size as Ashpaw. Now, there was a noticable difference between the two. Cherrypaw's nest seemed too small, and she seemed a bit cramped with her wings having to be folded to sit in the den.
Cherrypaw's head was in her paws, tucked in her nest. "I'm so sorry, Ashpaw, there is no relation between us at all, I'm so sorry, you can't even tell how sorry I am..." she muttered.
"Cherrypaw, it's okay! I've told you this a million times, I don't care!" the young tom replied. "Oh, hello, Firestar," he greeted.
Cherrypaw looked up, revealing small horns on her head. "H-Hi, Firestar... how are you?" she said, timidly.
"Good. How about you?"
"Not too bad. Well, other than this..." she gestured to herself. Firestar started to count all of the things that were changed. The most striking difference was her wings, which she kept folded up. They were about half the size of her each, and they looked a bit leathery. Another thing was her scales, stretching between the fat part of her tail to her neck. There was a small bit of fur on her stomach, however. Her tail had gotten longer, stretching over to the next nest, and the base of it was a bit wider. There were tiny horns sprouting from her head, too. Her paws had gotten bigger as well as her body, and the claws had also gotten sharper. Finally, the stone that had embedded itself into her chest a day earlier was glowing faintly in the dim light of the den.
"It's fine, Cherrypaw. The rest of the clan will definitely accept you still," Firestar said in return.
"But look at me! I'm a monster!" she fretted. However, she calmed down quickly, taking deep breaths. "Please, tell me what I did."
Firestar relayed the story of the night before to Cherrypaw, who seemed to have no recollection of the event. She kept getting more and more worried, until she burst out, "What will I do? One, I'm a monster, two, I'm a monster, three, I'm a monster, four-"
She cut off suddenly, her eyes turning red like the night before.
"Interesting," Ashpaw told Firestar. "When she's panicked, she seems to regress into this state-"
Cherrypaw had seen Ashpaw. Without warning, she practically jumped on Ashpaw.
"-where-she gets-super-friendly," Ashpaw tried to continue, while being choked by Cherrypaw. Firestar could only hold back a laugh.
Yeah. Cherrypaw is super "into" her looks (like a typical human girl). She gets panicked when she realized she's some sort of freak. I used "monster" for lack of better words, knowing full well that that's the name for a car. Don't blame me for not having a thesaurus next to me at all times!
