The ball room descended into hushed whispers. The king looked pleasantly surprised, but once again couldn't quite shake the feeling of recognition, that was when it hit him. This boy was ruikenian, but how? They had all been killed, right? Phantom pain ignited in his stub where his arm had once been as if also recognising this fact. Did the boy even know of his tribe? The Uchiha clearly did, which sprung up a whole new bunch of questions. Was this boy part Sheikah and part ruikenian? Or was he adopted into the Uchiha clan? Going by appearances he would say that the boy was adopted. This was a problem, one that he would have to approach delicately. Zelda was positively shaking from worry for her personal bodyguard as the boy still had a knife to Impa's neck.

"I can see why you are feared" Link spoke directly to Impa as he stood up and offered her a hand. Impa merely scoffed and slapped the hand away before standing on her own. Some royal knights appeared at her sides and helped her walk away, presumably to get her cuts looked after. Link raised an eyebrow but didn't make a fuss about it as he looked to the king who had cleared his throat.

"I must say that was quite a good display" Rhoam was being truthful in his opinion of the fight. However at the same time he wanted to give the order there and then for all the guards in the room to charge and execute the boy, but he had to think logically. That would cause panic and there were too many people in the room the boy could take hostage. There were diplomats from across the continent also attending the party, what would they think if he just had a seemingly innocent boy executed. Not to mention, after watching the fight he wasn't sure if they would even be able to kill him. The point being, there were too many variables to take into account, so instead he said.

"I have to ask, where did you learn to fight like that?" Link thought for a couple of seconds before replying truthfully.

"I was trained by my clan, although I suppose that I have always known how to fight and defend myself" The boy had just practically confirmed it himself, he had to be ruikenian. Forcing a large grin Rhoam spoke again.

"That is interesting, I would love to drown you in questions, but I won't keep you any longer, let the party once again commence" With that said Kagami came over and dragged Link away as everyone went back to talking and mingling with one another. A few people sent the two some looks, but both Link and Kagami ignored them. Once near the back of the party and out of ear shot from everyone Kagami turned and spoke to Link.

"Well that was interesting, may I ask why you did that?" Kagami spoke calmly, showing he wasn't angered by Link's decision.

"You said the whole point of coming here was for me to make allies, yes? Well think of that as my interview response to everyone here" Link left out that he also wanted to see how strong the King's soldiers are.

"Well that was an interesting way to put yourself out there, but I'm not quite sure what else I expected, now go out there and…" Kagami paused trying to find the word "mingle?" He finished it as a question. Link let out a chuckle before nodding and starting to walk away.

"Oh and Kagami, you should watch out. I'm pretty sure by now the King will have realised where I'm from and will have some questions for you" Link spoke over his shoulder receiving a nod from Kagami. With that Link made his way through the crowd towards a butler holding a tray with glasses of wine. The butler looked startled as Link grabbed a drink and downed it in a single gulp. A few people gave him disturbed looks as he put the drink down and grabbed another, before walking off. Link was standing in the middle of the room slowly sipping his drink, thinking of how to strike up a conversation when everyone keeps walking away from him.

"My My, that was quite the fight you showed us, I won't lie at the start I wasn't sure if you would win" a femenine voice spoke from behind him. Link swiveled around and came face to face with a seven foot zora woman wearing a crown. Link knew straight away that this was the zora Queen.

"That's kind of you to say your highness" Link spoke politely, he didn't have a strong opinion of the zora and had no reason to disrespect her. The zora Queen's only response to this was a small smile as she spoke again.

"Your highness? I thought you knew no manners" She spoke in a tone that showed she wasn't trying to be hostile by what she was saying.

" I know manners, I just rarely use them" Link responds, smirking back at the Queen. She laughed delitedly earning them a few more stares from those around them. Another zora appeared by her side, he was around the same time with a grin on his face.

"I have to say that watching everyone lose their shit at you has made this trip worth it" The man said eagerly to Link.

"Losos, do you mind? I am trying to greet the young man" The Queen cut back in, clearly upset at being interrupted by the now known Losos. Link let out a small chuckle at the interaction before speaking up.

"I mean no offense, but is there a reason you have come to greet me" Link tried to keep his tone polite so as to not antagonise either of the zora. Both zora shared a look before smirking.

"We were just wondering what a member of a dead tribe was doing here" The zora Queen spoke quietly and in a more professional tone. Link was momentarily shocked, but hid it well.

"I suppose I shouldn't be shocked, I mean look at what I'm wearing" Link said equally quiet, but still in his laid back tone of voice. Losos let out a small chuckle as the Queen smirked.

"I am the last of my kind, I intend to restore my tribe's place as the strongest warriors in the continent" Link spoke in a clear voice that showed he was fully determined to follow through with his plan. The two zora grinned at Link nodding before the Queen spoke again.

"You should expect the King and a few others to have also noticed, be careful, I wouldn't put it past him to have ordered some of his knights to assassinate you. Well it was nice meeting you and will be entertaining to see the twist you will bring to this kingdom. We will speak again, for now goodbye, ghost of Ruiken" With that said the Queen had started making her way to the KIng and his family to say goodbye as well. Link raised an eyebrow at the name, but decided he quite liked it in the end.

Watching the Queen of the zora leave the ball room, Rhoam beckoned a soldier to his side as he whispered a command into his ears.

"Go and tell Impa she has a new mission, she is to capture and question Kagami Uchiha on what he knows about the boy's heritage, and if deemed necessary, to kill him" The soldier gave a nod and proceeded to make a swift exit. He wished he could go and explain to Impa properly what he needed to know and give her more information, but he couldn't leave the ballroom, he was the host and had to keep up appearances.

"What was that about Impa?" his daughter chimed in with a worried look on her face, she had been desperate to go and check up on the woman ever since the match had ended. Rhoam cursed his daughter's hearing, before smiling and replying.

"I merely asked for him to check up on her" the response seemed to appease the girl.

Impa stared down hard at the floor of the infirmary after being told her mission. Ever since she had heard Kagami's family name she had wanted nothing more than to cleave his head off. Now she had the opportunity, although she was confused why the king wanted to know about the boy, oh well she didn't really care at this point in time. Re-entering the party, Impa stuck to the larger crowds with her hood up, stalking the man as he conversed with numerous traders, landlords and the such. The man had drunk quite a bit, Impa was hoping this would make him more sloppy should he end up putting up a fight. It took awhile, but finally the man had left the party, he had gone out through one the side exits which lead into a beautiful and well cared for garden. He stood in the middle of the garden.

"You can leave the shadows now, I don't exactly like being followed" Kagami spoke loudly and clearly. Impa's eyes widened, before she scoffed and stepped out into the small field lined with beautiful flowers. Kagami turned to face the woman.

"Well, what is it you need? To kill me? Or does he want answers?" He spoke in a professional, but bored tone of voice, setting Impa on edge lightly.

"Try all of the above, he wants to know what you know of the brats heritage" Impa's voice was laced in venom as she spoke, glaring at the man.

"I know enough to know that he should fear that "brat", now I have a question: who did you lose?" Kagami was referring to the civil war that had happened between the Sheikah clans. A man named Madara Uchiha had wanted to unite all the clans under a single banner, but had gone about it the wrong way and had consequently started a war. It was the Uchiha clan against all others, it was a slaughter and many people had died to the Uchiha clan. Eventually a man had defeated Madara in battle, Kharmerr, Link's father.

"Everyone!" Impa screamed as she charged Kagami with a tanto in hand. A knuai flew out of Kagami's sleeve and into his hand as he blocked the attack and kicked out viciously, hitting Impa in the stomach, sending her skidding backwards. Kagami's eyes had turned blood red with three black commas spinning rapidly. Taking a deep breath, Kagami flew through hand signs, before blowing out a stream of flames that torched the grass as it headed towards Impa. Impa's eyes widened as she too flew through hand signs before slamming her hands into the floor, immediately a wall of mud and earth rose taking the hit. Impa made to move, but her feet were stuck to the ground. She looked down to see a hand had risen from the earth and had latched onto her ankle, shadow clone. Hearing the sound of her wall being smashed, she turned and received a foot to the face as Kagami had kicked through the wall, sending her flying backwards even further.

She skidded onto the now ruined flowers that acted as a barrier to their makeshift arena. Jumping back onto her feet, Impa went through more hand signs at an even quicker pace before thrusting her palm outwards sending three large blades of wind towards Kagami, only to see her blades deflected by more wind blades, he had copied her. Growling furiously, Impa pumped chakra through her veins as she charged again at Kagami, but mid charge her hand went into the shape of a cross. Impa made two shadow clones. One went for a high kick to his face whilst the other went for a sweep kick, she herself ran in behind, tanto clutched tightly going for a stab at his heart. Just as both kicks connected Kagami burst into a fiery explosion, destroying the clones and sending Impa rolling backwards. The hand that had grabbed her ankle pulled the rest of its body out revealing the real Kagami, the other had been the clone that had just exploded. Impa kneeled on the ground clutching her now burned arm in pain, before she heard him speak.

"Let me tell you a story, I was but a boy when the civil war started and had been swept up in Madara's propaganda. I went to war and took my share of innocent lives, until one day I met a man that went by the name of Kharmerr. We met one day when he approached me in a bar after finding out I was from the Sheikah tribe. He was something else. He had taught himself chakra merely to spite me after I refused to teach him and what's more, he could use chakra much better than I could ever dream off. When I asked him how he was such a good fighter he simply said that he was fighting to protect those he loved. That got me thinking, why was I fighting? I was obsessed with the glory of battle and had grown to hate the other clans who took my family from me. That man had opened my eyes to the cycle of hatred. The same man who helped me change my ways, the same man who eventually killed Madara Uchiha and saved the Sheikah tribe from self destruction is that brats father" Impa's eyes widened in shock of the reveal. No wonder the king was desperate to check the boy's heritage, his father was clearly a monster if he killed Madara and from the looks of things he's already on the path of becoming one. At the same time as this reveal Impa had realised that this man, this Uchiha was trying to help her and stop her from making the same mistakes he once made.

"I've been such a fool" she whispered in pain as she looked around at the destroyed garden that had once been beautiful, what would her parents think of her now? She had hunted down many Uchiha people out of anger and need for revenge.

"Don't hate yourself now girl, you still have more than enough time to change the path you are on" as Kagami said that the garden seemed to revert itself back to its original condition. The flowers once again bloomed and the grass was once again a vibrant green, this whole fight she had been in a genjutsu the second they locked eyes when she charged that first time. A few tears left Impa's face as she smiled and nodded gratefully at Kagami.

Around the time Kagami had left the ballroom to go to the garden, a tall and dark skinned man had approached Link with two similar looking companions, they were also dark skinned and also had red/orange hair, at both of his sides.

"Hello, Link of ruiken, my name is Ganondorf"

A/N: Hey thank you again for reading :) Now there's a few things I want to clear up. First of all I had to tone down how powerful chakra actually is so Madara wouldn't practically be a god. Also anyone can learn to use chakra hence how Kharmerr could use it, however only the Sheikah tribe know how to use it. Kharmerr and other people would have to jump start their chakra system if you will to be able to use chakra. Anyway that's it, I hope you enjoyed this and once again thanks for reading :)
