Another weird dream had plagued Link's sleep once again, but there was no real difference to the last, yet despite the lack of sleep Link was up early in the morning ready to begin his training in the use of chakra. Kagami was waiting outside his house, a stern look on his face. Link was tempted to ask how long he had been standing outside his house, but by the looks of things Kagami wasn't in a playful mood.

"Follow, today we will begin chakra control exercises and from there you will begin working on techniques" Kagami's voice was commanding as they walked to the same training grounds Link had used just the day before. It wasn't long before the two were standing opposite one another as Kagami began giving orders.

"First things first, I want you to climb one of these trees without the use of your hands" before Link could even ask what he meant, Kagami moved and proceeded to walk up a tree as if it was nothing. "It's simple, you channel the right amount of chakra to your feet to be able to stick to surfaces such as these" , having said all he wanted to Kagami dropped back down and gestured for Link to try. Link shook himself before taking a running start and leaping at the tree pushing chakra into his soles. He managed two steps up before he fell straight back down immediately. After a couple more attempts of Link slowly getting higher up the tree each time, Kagami left, instructing Link to find him once he had completed his task.

It didn't take as long as Link had expected. In a couple of hours Link was able to walk up and down the tree with relative ease. He looked up as the sun's rays attacked him, it was around mid day by now. It didn't take too long to find Kagami, the man was where he always was, in his office.

"I've done it, what's next?" Link spoke eagerly, awaiting his next task. Kagami looked up at Link, subtly checked the time before smiling and replying.

"Next is pretty much the same premise, but this time I want you to walk on water, Try at the lake that borders our village. Oh and all those rules you had yesterday are gone now, use the library to your heart's content and get help from your friends, good luck" Kagami's voice no longer held the hardness ithad this morning, which calmed down Link a little. After giving his thanks Link headed straight for the nearest cafe where his best friend was no doubt on a date with some girl.

Link approached the cafe slowly as he watched his friend get kicked out by what appeared to be the owner.

"What did you do this time?" Link's voice caused Midas to spin around from where he was sitting on the floor, a big goofy grin on his face.

"There you are! I don't hear from you at all after you get back from that party and then next thing I know is people are saying you've unlocked your chakra" Midas spoke excitedly as got up from the ground and approached Link. "Well?"

"Sorry about that, this whole chakra training kind of sprung on me as well, anyway I'm here to ask for your help, you've had chakra since you first began training" Link said, matching his friend's energy. Midas' eyes widened before his grin seemed to get even larger as he threw an arm over Link's shoulder.

"So my young apprentice, what is it you wish to learn first?" Midas asked in a sagely tone as he stroked his non-existent beard. Link chuckled before replying to his friend.

"I've learnt to walk up trees already and now Kagami says I have to learn to walk on water before I can begin learning ninjutsu or genjutsu" Link explained his problem to Midas. Midas turned serious for a second before he nodded his head and took his arm off Link's shoulder.

"Ok here's what we do, I am going to go to the library to get all of the stuff we're going to need, while you head to the lake and get started on your water walking" with another nod from Link they both set off to their destinations.

Midas reached the lake in time to watch as Link pulled himself out of the water for what must have been at least the sixth time. Midas watched from the side as Link tried again, he managed to get onto the water to be fair to him, but he soon started wobbling and fell in.

"New plan, whilst you are going to be trying to stand on the water, I am going to begin shooting at you, you just have to dodge and stay standing" Midas spoke up as he pulled out his bow. Link's face dropped for about a second before it was filled with determination once again as he jumped onto the water.

Weirdly enough, Midas' plan worked as Link had mastered water walking much quicker than he had tree climbing. By now it was the afternoon as the sun slowly began to slip out of the sky.

"Ok so I've been informed by Kagami that your chakra supply is abnormally large, meaning the first thing I want to teach you is the shadow clone jutsu, It has many uses, even more for you since hopefully you will be able to make an abundance of them" Midas spoke matter of factly as he pulled out a scroll and threw it at Link, who caught it effortlessly. Link read through the scroll quite quickly, memorising the hand signs and chakra pattern before standing up and giving it a go. A clone popped into existence, but it's face was slightly deformed and the second it tried to take a step it burst into a cloud of smoke. For the next hour and a half Link practiced this technique before finally he could make a perfect clone that could do everything he could. Out of excitement Link ran up to the clone and high five it, but he must have hit it a bit too hard as the clone popped straight away. Midas burst out laughing before stopping as Link's face had morphed into one of confusion.

"I..I think I just gained that clones…memories?" Link said with a questioning look towards Midas, who nodded in understanding.

"Ah yes, another one of the benefits, you see when a clone is dispelled all of it's memories rush back to the original person, extremely useful for espionage and the such" Midas had once again put on the sagely voice as he looked to link with a squint in his eye. Link's eyes widened at the information as thousands of possible uses for such a technique filled his head. "And yes before you ask, it does increase your intake of training. Meaning with your large chakra reserves you should be able to increase your training speed massively" Both men grinned at each other at just the thought.

"However, as you can see it is getting late, and we don't want you passing out from exhaustion, here take these scrolls and read up on them, they are what we will be doing tomorrow" Midas said clearly as he handed over two scrolls before he patted Link on the back and began making his way home. Link soon followed suit as he too headed home, where he read the scrolls extensively before finally falling asleep. The first scroll was all about sensing, whilst the other was about how to use chakra to enhance your speed, strength etc.

They began working on both the next day before the sun had even properly risen. Link made around one hundred clones, fifty went to work on chakra enhancing whilst the other fifty worked on sensing. This went on for approximately five hours before Link dispelled the clones and had a break. Whilst Link drank up some water and rested, Midas informed him of what they would be doing next. Link could finally begin working on ninjutsu and the like.

"First things first, we need to find out what your elemental affinity is, to do that I want you to pump some chakra into this piece of paper" Midas spoke as he handed over a small slip of paper to Link. Link looked confused but went ahead and did as asked. The paper split into two, one of the halves split again. One quarter burnt away to ash whilst the other wrinkled up, leaving the last big half to become soaked in water that suddenly appeared. Midas' eyes widened massively, while Link merely raised an eyebrow.

"That should be impossible, you have all affinities except earth" Midas said in disbelief.

"Is that good? I'm new to this, remember, explain!" Link ordered Midas, feeling left out of the big surprise.

"When the paper split it showed you had wind affinity which appears to be the most prominent as it happened first, when it wrinkled it shows lightning affinity which isn't as strong as your wind affinity, when it burnt up it showed fire affinity which seems to be as strong as your lightning and finally when the big half soaked it shows water affinity which appears to be your second strongest" Midas said systematically, explaining everything for Link. Link grinned widely at the news.

"Let's get started on ninjutsu then!" Link grinned at Midas over excited at the many new possibilities.

"Ok I guess, I have five jutsu fro you to begin practicing, first is simple but useful the shuriken shadow clone technique, the second is a simple fireball jutsu, third is water bullet jutsu, fourth is "short circuit" lightning jutsu and then fifth and last is "gale palm" wind jutsu" Midas handed over a different scroll for each jutsu he spoke off. Link nodded and burst into life, creating one hundred clones before splitting them into five groups of twenty, each group working on a single jutsu. This went on before Link decided he had them down to an adequate level. After a while Link had told Midas that he was grateful for his help, but he could handle his training by himself from now on.

It had been a couple days now since Link had begun training by himself without help from Midas. Link found himself once again in the council's presence.

"So, you believe yourself to be ready?" Kagami asked from the head of the table. Link made sure to remain eye contact before replying.

"I am ready, I can take anything that the colosseum throws at me" Link's voice was filled with conviction as he spoke. Kagami stared for a while before smiling.

"I believe you, you will set off for the colosseum tomorrow with Midas accompanying you" as Kagami spoke Midas appeared from behind him smiling at Link, who grinned back. With that Link nodded to the council and left to get a good night's sleep.

Link was once again looking through the eyes of someone else, he was standing in front of an army as he spoke.

"My fellow ruikenians, My name is Kishin the mighty!" a roar of cheers erupted throughout the army, "For years our tribe has been pushed down by this entire continent, well that stops now!" Once again the army cheers "I shall lead us all to victory!" The man bellowed out as he hoisted up a rather odd looking sword. A blue and green greatsword in the design of what looked to be a double helix.

Meanwhile in the Hyrule castle, Impa sat down with Zelda in the library. Impa had ben fully informed about Link's heritage by the King and had finally understood why the King was so desperate.

"Look Impa I finally found something" and that was another thing. Zelda had become obsessed with trying to figure out who that boy was and where he came from ever since he defeated Impa in battle. The King had instructed Impa not to tell Zelda anything, but if Zelda found out about the Ruiken tribe herself then it was fine.

"Look here, this is what that Link boy was wearing right?" Zelda asked lifting up a rather large book and sure enough it was the Ruikenian armour the boy wore. Zelda began reading out loud.

"It is said that the Ruiken tribe started out as a weak regular tribe from a distant land. However, it is said that the first ruiken leader is said to have slaughtered thousands and gained techniques and abilities from all over the continent, helping the Ruiken tribe rise to glory and even further, eventually becoming so strong he ascended into Godhood!" Zelda and Impa's eyes widened at the news before Zelda continued "It is said that the three goddesses became enraged and fearful of the new self created God and struck him down through their combined efforts, they then scattered his power into the souls of the Ruiken tribe forever making them superhuman"

"Why on earth would they scatter the power through the God's own tribe?" Impa cut in, confused at the goddesses thought process.

"The reason they did this is believed to be so they can use the Ruiken tribe to reincarnate the hero of courage and the God himself should he be needed as they are the only beings capable of handling the power to fight off the goddesses enemies now that they can no longer come down to this world" Zelda spoke in disbelief.

"Even if this is just a legend it is still an interesting story, was there any mention of the God's name?" Impa asked curiously towards Zelda.

"The only name they gave him was The Fierce Deity"
