Peter sits down at the table
"*sigh*Happy Eighteenth Birthday Peter"Peter said before he blew out his candles
Peter's life isn't going that well right now. He lives on his own now, his Aunt May died a few months ago, being murdered by the Green Goblin, Ned and MJ went off to MIT. Little good things happened, Peter got his GED three months ago, so that's good.
"Well, time to get ready for work"Peter said before he got up and went to his room. He put on his clothes and he got his camera and put on his backpack with his suit in it
Peter then walked out of the door and out of his apartment. Peter has finally been able to walk around without being told he was a murderer. But no one he knew in his past remembers him, it's like he never existed.
Peter walks into the Daily Bugle Building
Scene Change
"Parker! How many times do I have to tell you? Get me those pictures of Spider-Man! I don't care what you have to do, just go get them!"Jameson said before he slammed his door in Peter's face
"Well that was a good of daily yelling"Peter said
"Ease up kid, you're still new here, I'm sure he'll warm up to you sooner or later"A man said to Peter as he put his hand on his shoulder
"Thanks Mr.Robertson, but I don't think it'll be anytime soon"Peter said
"Hey, we're coworkers, you can call me Joe"Joe said
"Thanks, Joe"Peter said before walking out of the building
Scene Change
Peter walks the streets before he gets a call on his phone
"Hello"Peter said
"Parker! Doctor Miles Warren is doing an interview at the Hall of Science, get those pictures!"Jameson yelled into the phone
"You know I think I know a few words...one of them starts with the word please"Peter said
"Just do it!"Jameson said before hanging up
Peter sighed as he walked into an alleyway
Scene Change
Spider-Man swings towards the Hall of Science and crawls into an open window
Scene Change
"Mr.Warren, following the death of your wife and children, how have you been feeling recently?"The Interviewer asked him
"Well, I've been taking some therapy sessions and trying to find my own coping mechanisms to deal with the loss"Warren said
Peter ran with his camera to try and get pictures before he tripped and fell.
"Hey, you need some help?"Peter heard a voice as a hand extended towards him
"Oh, thanks"Peter said as he took the hand and stood up, Peter saw a boy around his age, he had brown hair and blue eyes and wore a black tuxedo
"You work for the Daily Bugle?"The boy asked
"Yeah, uh...who are you?"Peter asked
"Osborn, Harry Osborn"Harry said
"Ok, I'm Peter Parker"Peter said, he recognized the name Osborn before, didn't have a good experience with it
"Nice to meet you Peter Parker, you here to take pictures of Doctor Warren?"Harry asked
"Yeah, my boss wants me to take the pictures"Peter said
"Oh, I can get you some close ups, have you heard of when this place entirely collapsed a few weeks ago?"Harry asked
"Yeah, of course who wouldn't have known about that"Peter said
"Well my Dad's funding it, he's funding this entire place, follow me"Harry said and Peter followed and not even after a minute they were in front of the entire crowd.
"There you are, you can get some pictures from right here"Harry said
"Thanks *click* *click* *click* *click* *click*"Peter said
"No problem"Harry said
"Hopefully I'll get some more money for these pictures"Peter said
"Yeah, I've got to go. See you around"Harry said before walking away
"Thanks again!"Peter said and Harry waved
Scene Change
After turning in the pictures Peter goes to get some coffee.
Peter walks into the diner. Peter looked around and he looked at the counter where he remembered seeing MJ and Ned as visions of them appeared before fading away.
"Hey, this place is for food not for browsing, either order something or get out"The Manager said
"Geez"Peter said before walking over to the counter and faced the employee there. "I'll just have a coffee thank you"
"Same goes for me"Peter heard a voice and he turned his head and saw a girl his age with long blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Something wrong?"She asked
"N-No, not at all...I'm Peter by the way"Peter said
"Gwen, Gwen Stacy"Gwen said
"Well, it's nice to meet you Gwen"Peter said
"Yeah, I guess I could say the same thing?"Gwen said
"Oh, I'm not trying to sound creepy or anything I'm just saying"Peter said
"I know what you're trying to say"Gwen said
"So...have you heard about Spider-Man saving those people from a fire?"Peter asked
"Yeah, he's cool"Gwen said
"So, how's your day so far?"Peter asked
"Well it's been good, I'm planning to go visit the Avengers Museum"Gwen said
"Really? I was going to go there too, I heard they've got a new Spider-Man exhibit"Peter said
"Here's your coffee sir and here is your coffee ma'am"The employee said
"Thank you, well I guess you could come along, but I'm warning you, I go crazy at the gift shop, and you're buying"Gwen said
"Wait what am I doing again?"Peter asked
Well this is the end of the first chapter. Not a lot of action, this chapter was more about reintroducing Peter and his current situation and at the same time introducing new characters. I promise the next chapter will have a lot more action. See ya
