Heya people, sorry, I screwed up. So the original author had Satsuki start at level 50 cause "eXPErieNcE tRanSfErS tO StatS" andshgejrhfdgjxe.
Sorry, I had a stroke for a sec. Anyways, gonna make her Level 50, and even summon the Elite Four. Great. Four more idiots to take care of. Also, her power armor I will never be able to pronounce is gonna have a level of its own, cause it's alive, and not just a piece of equipment. Its empowerment will scale off of it's level.
I won't have Lyn's experience transfer, cause he would be stronger than reprise Motoyasu if 300 years of experience would be turned to levels. And, I mean, he has 70+ upgrade methods, 24 at 100% and the rest at 20%. Does he really need some levels?
Also yes, for the sake of crack, I will summon the elite four. Someone out there, go write a normal kill la kill fic plz. I'm writing a monster that is gonna bite me later.
Anyways, Crack La Crack.
The group were led into a small room by the maid, and were told to wait till they finished preparing the food for the banquet. Itsuki and Motoyasu went in first and quickly settled down. Satsuki took her time watching her surroundings and getting used to them while Lyn was still lagging behind, fiddling with his status screen.
Why is that guy still looking at his status screen? Satsuki thought to herself as she entered the room.
Hmmm, nothing is missing, everything is in place, and my world bonus has increased, Lyn thought to himself while browsing through his help screen. He took a quick glance at Satsuki and tried to see her level.
[?]
"..,"
Why the hell can't I see her level? Has she been in this world before? Or does she start with a status hide skill?
Lyn made a mental note of this and glanced over at Itsuki's and Motoyasu's levels, which were, as expected, level one. He then sat down on one of the chairs and looked over his empty shield tree.
Soon enough, Motoyasu broke the silence between the four of them.
"Man, I really wasn't expecting to be summoned into the world of Emerald online!"
"Emerald Online? What are you talking about? This is clearly Dimension Wave,"
"Dimension Wave? I've never heard about that game in my life. What do you think this is, Satsuki?" Motoyasu asked.
"It certainly looks like one, but I'm not a fan of games, and I didn't get any time to play them due to student council duties,"
Itsuki was the first to react to that statement.
"Student council duties? Ah right, you said you were the student council president of some school. Which one was it again?"
"Honnoji Academy,"
"Honnoji Academy? I've read about quite a lot of academies, but I haven't heard of one like that yet," Itsuki replied.
"That's because we are from different worlds," Lyn finally said after closing his status screen.
"Who are y- oh, I forgot you were there for a sec, my bad, hehe," Motoyasu awkwardly laughed, rubbing his hand against the back of his head.
"..,"
Everyone stared at Motoyasu with a deadpan expression.
"A-Anyway, what were you saying about worlds again?"
"I'd like to know about this myself," Satsuki said.
"*Sigh*. You guys know about the Multiverse theory, right?"
Everyone nodded.
"Good, saves me some explaining. In short, the weapons pick us out from the multiverse, rather than a single universe. More options I suppose,"
"But how can you be sure we aren't from the same world?"
"Name a few things, presidents, important events. Call me when you are done verifying," he waved Motoyasu off and walked to the balcony.
The view was quite spectacular, with many buildings lined neatly side-by-side and with roads going through them. There were many carts driven by animals ranging from bird-like creatures to even dragons and people walking through the roads, making them quite lively. The evening sunset illuminated the cityscape, adding to its charming effect. Any normal person would've taken it as a sight to behold, but Lyn had gone past that phase already. He sighed and opened his status screen once again to pass the time.
Meanwhile
"Did that guy seriously just ask us to figure this out by ourselves and walk off? Man, talk about lack of etiquette. Doesn't he know how to mind his manners in front of a lady?" Motoyasu said, sitting back in his chair.
"I do think we should try what he said. There might be a point to it," Itsuki said, ignoring the last comment.
"I agree. Who's going to go first?" Satsuki said.
"Let's all try saying it in turns," Itsuki quickly replied.
"Okay, first question. Who's your prime minister?" Motoyasu asked.
{{{{{{}}}}}}
"Who?" Motoyasu asked in confusion.
"Are you sure you're correct?" Itsuki questioned the spear hero.
"I am. I guess that means he was correct," Satsuki said.
The fact that he knew all of this before us is a little suspicious. I should keep an eye on him.
"Wow… I never thought that different Japan's existed…" Itsuki muttered.
"Anyway, now that that's over, where's Lyn?" Motoyasu asked.
"You called?" Lyn asked, heading over to one of the chairs and sitting down.
"Ah, there you are! Sheesh man, don't you know how to mind your manners in front of a beautiful lady like Satsuki?"
"Oh, My bad," Lyn said half-sarcastically.
Did he really have to mention the last part?
"Anyway, what's next?" Lyn asked. He looked at Motoyasu and Itsuki to find them staring at his shield, lost in thought.
"Now that I look at it…. that shield.." Itsuki started.
"You too?" Motoyasu mumbled, looking over at Itsuki.
"Yeah,"
"Is there a problem?" Satsuki asked.
Here we go again, Lyn thought.
"Well, in Emerald online, the shield class was… how do I say this nicely… completely hopeless," Motoyasu replied.
"Same in Dimensional Wave," Itsuki chimed in.
"Hold on. I get what you think, but aren't you underestimating him too much? In my school, looking down on others just because they were weak is inexcusable" Satsuki said, glaring at Motoyasu and Itsuki.
"Nah, keep going. I wanna hear more where this comes from," Lyn said in a bored voice.
"Well then," Motoyasu started while placing a hand over Lyn's back, "Big brother Motoyasu will explain everything. You see, in Emerald Online, shield-classes like you were… useless after sometime. They started out OP, but became unable to tank the high amounts of DPS. Soon enough everyone just abandoned it. I do feel bad for you, though. Seems like you just had to receive the short end of the stick, huh?"
"Same here," Itsuki said.
Why are they antagonizing him? It's not like he chose to become the shield hero. If they were in my school, I would have punished them a long time ago. What's more suspicious is that he doesn't even look upset about it. Satsuki thought with furrowed brows.
Lyn sighed.
"Aight, you got anything else to add?"
"Nope," Motoyasu shrugged.
"Alright the-"
They were interrupted by knocking on the door.
"Heroes, the banquet for yourselves has been prepared. We humbly request that you come,"
"Welp, guess we can save chit-chat for later, huh?" Motoyasu said as he stood up.
"Sure, let's go get some food and plan for tomorrow later," Lyn said and walked out the door.
They were led back to the throne room, now containing several tables with all kinds of food, and several people waiting to engage in a conversation with them. Unlike the other three heroes, Lyn received mixed reactions from the crowd. They either avoided him entirely, or gave him a look of disgust the second his back was turned. Satsuki watched all of this, getting more and more upset over how everyone treated Lyn, and of the fact he didn't seem to mind at all. Instead, he absorbed the food into his shield for some reason, when no one was looking.
The longer I know him, the more questions I have.
Satsuki brought a random fruit closer to the gem and looked in confusion as the gem lit up. She continued bringing it closer and closer until the fruit was sucked from her hand and absorbed into the weapon. A notification popped up in the status. She opened it and watched as the [Weapon Tree] appeared. A small line ran from the middle circle and a second icon appeared. Under it the words [Apple Sword] popped up.
I guess this is one of the ways for us to strengthen our weapons, she thought. This world really looks too much like a game. Although, I'm still confused how he knows all of this. I should ask him about it later.
She noticed that Lyn glanced at her, but turned away once their eyes met. She looked at Itsuki and Motoyasu who were chatting and eating. The chefs were looking around, trying to figure out why the food was disappearing so quickly.
