Peter was on the roof of his high school. On his phone he scrolled through pictures of him MJ and Ned. Peter sobbed as he was bombarded with memories of his friend and ex-girlfriend.
"Why couldn't it have been me?"Peter sobbed as he held his head in between his knees. "Why did she have to die? Every time I try to do something good I end up making it worse. People keep dying, as long as I'm around people will continue to get hurt..."
Scene Change
Peter walked into his dorm and looked around his dorm. He looked for his bag which he looked into a grabbed his suit furiously. Peter then stormed out of his dorm.
Scene Change
Peter went to an alleyway where he saw a trash can. Peter slammed his suit into the trash can and kicked it before climbing the gate in the alleyway and walking away.
...Spider-Man was no more
Scene Change
Peter walked along the halls and into his classroom.
Peter then saw Professor Warren who came back early.
"Professor Warren? I thought you weren't coming back till after the new year"Peter said
"Well some things came up Peter that prevented me from going anywhere so I just decided to come back"Warren said
"Well that's unfortunate. I don't mean it's unfortunate you came back it's unfortunate that you couldn't go where you needed to"Peter said
"It's actually alright. I'm actually quite fine. You can take your seat now"Warren said and Peter nodded before walking towards his seat and sitting down between Harry and Gwen.
Meanwhile
"Hey Boss, there's a guy here saying he's got something you'd wanna see"
"Bring him in"Jameson said and a man walked in with a paper bag and plops it onto Jameson's desk. "You got me a Paper bag?"
"Oh Jameson, this isn't just any paper bag, there's something in it"The man said and he reaches into the bag and brings out the Spider-Man suit.
"What the hell? What is this? This must be a fake"Jameson said
"Nope, it's the real deal, I didn't see their face but I saw someone throw this suit in the trash can, and the person had to be Spider-Man since he's been on a losing streak lately and the person seemed angry when they through it away"The man said
"Well then, this changes everything! Ha! I finally got to him. That menace is finally off the streets for good"Jameson said as he held up the suit.
Scene Change
Peter was in his Quantum Mechanics class with his Professor Curt Connors, the class had just ended.
"Peter, can you stay back for a few"Curt said
"Sure. Is there something wrong Mr. Connors?"Peter asked
"No, no not at all. I've heard from your friend Gwen that you are really into Quantum Mechanics"Curt said
"Really? What did she say specifically?"Peter asked
"She said that you've been able to make this extremely durable and sticky substance which most definitely intrigues me"Curt said
"Yeah that's true, where is this going?"Peter asked
"Well I wanted to know that if over the summers you can work with me as an intern of some sorts and when you graduate you'll be able to work with me with pay"Curt said
Peter thought about this. If he did this, when he graduates he'll get way more money than he will at the Bugle not to mention he'll be able to make a variety of things that can help him as Spider-Man...wait he's not Spider-Man anymore...that's gonna take some time to get used to.
"So what do you think Peter?"Curt asked
"Yeah, sure I'd love to"Peter said
"Amazing, I will see you tomorrow Peter"Curt said
"Alright Doctor Connors, I'll see you tomorrow"Peter said before walking out of the class.
Meanwhile
Warren hyperventilates as he looks at a mirror.
"Relax, he's not Spider-Man anymore let's just kill him"Jackal said
"No we don't need to kill him he's not Spider-Man anymore, that means he won't be a thorn in our side, we can just clone my family now, so I can get them back I already have the DNA samples"Warren said
"No! What if he becomes Spider-Man again? He'll come after us, just to make sure if he does, we've got a plan"Jackal said
"What's the plan?"Warren asked
"We probably can't beat Spider-Man but...Spider-Man can beat Spider-Man"Jackal said
"...I think I know what you're talking about"Warren said
Scene Change
While Peter was walking through the halls he hears a voice which makes him jump.
"Peter, can I talk to you for a moment?"Warren asked
"Yeah, sure"Peter said, he didn't know why but he's always felt uncomfortable around Warren. "Is something wrong?"
"No. I'll just need this"Warren said before he picked a strand of hair from Peter's head.
"What do you need a strand of my hair for?"Peter asked
"I'm working on this project. How different types of conditioner or shampoo affects the hair"Warren said
"...Ok. Was that all?"Peter asked
"Yes, you can leave now"Peter said before walking off. "That was weird"
Scene Change
Peter was walking towards his dorm and was about to open the door.
"Hey Peter"Gwen said
"Yeah? What's up?"Peter said
"Well there's this fair next week on Tuesday and I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me"Gwen said
"A fair? Yeah, sure I'd like to go"Peter said
"Nice, very nice"Gwen said before walking away.
Scene Change
Peter walks the streets before looking around, everyone had a Daily Bugle Article in their hands.
"This can't be true"
"I can't believe this"
"Do you really think he quit?"
"Finally he's off the streets"
Peter looked around before going up to a person that had the article in their hands.
"Excuse me, can I see that?"Peter asked and the person gave the article to him.
Peter looked at the heading of the Article.
"Spider-Man...No More"Peter said. Now everyone knew that he quit being Spider-Man.
Peter gave the person the article back and began to turn all away.
That's great, now everyone knew he stopped being Spider-Man, he could leave to Jackal to the superheroes, not his problem anymore. Maybe that Devil of Hell's Kitchen Person will deal with Jackal.
Otherwise, Peter walked down the street with a smile on his face.
Scene Change
"Finally, we're done"Warren said. "Time to begin the cloning process"
Warren then activated his machine which smoke began to form and then when it stopped a person walked out, it was a clone, it looked like Peter nearly down to the wire.
"We've done it. We've created a clone of Peter Parker"Warren said before walking up to the clone. "Listen to me, you will kill the original Peter Parker"
Before Warren could say anything else he was smacked to the side by the clone and was sent flying into the wall.
The clone then destroyed the wall before jumping out of the laboratory and ran away.
"What the he'll just happened?"Jackal asked
"I think I messed up. The clone is so perfect that it even has Parker's memories. That means it knows that we're the Jackal, that means to it we're his enemies"Warren said
"Great, now we have two nuisances to deal with"Jackal said
"It was your fault in the first place"Warren said
