Peter in his dorm brushed his teeth with a new found joy. He didn't have to be Spider-Man anymore, no more villains, no more risks, no more backlash from J. Jonah Jameson, now he can just focus on Peter Parker things.

Scene Change

Peter and Curt are working on some kind of serum.

"Hey, Doctor Connors. You never told me what we're making"Peter said

"Well Peter I don't know if you noticed but, I only have one arm"Curt said and Peter looked and saw that was true. "I've seen many things that people use two arms for, I know it may seem of the slightest importance but I want to get my arm back. You know I see my wife picking up our son with two arms, I want to do that, because I have one arm I can't do all the things I wish I can do with my son. I'm always in thought, I always need to clear my head, but I have a straight goal, and that is to get my arm back"

"That sounds terrible. You can't do all the things you want to do with your son"Peter said

"Yes, it is but that's why I keep working on this formula. I'm working on this so that I can get my arm back. Anyway, enough about me, how about you? Whats going on in Peter's world?"Curt asked

"What do you mean?"Peter asked

"I mean, what's been going on recently? Been dating anyone? How about that Gwen? You and her seem to get along very well"Curt said

"No. No, no, no, no. We're just friends"Peter said

"Are you sure?"Curt asked

"Well..yeah. There's nothing romantic about our relationship"Peter said before he started thinking about all the times he spent with Gwen, when they first met, when they studied together, when they did their first project, her bandaging him up from his fight with the Jackal.

"It seems you've got much to think about Peter"Curt said

"Maybe"Peter said

"You may leave now Peter"Curt said

"Yeah, ok. See you tomorrow Doctor Connors"Peter said before walking out of Curt's lab.

Scene Change

Ok. Maybe he did like Gwen, maybe even love her. Not to mention, this would be the absolute perfect time, since he quit being Spider-Man, he can have much more time for a relationship...maybe he should go do this. Yeah! Hell yeah! He's gonna go right now! And tell Gwen how he feels!

Scene Change

Gwen opens her dorm room to see Peter.

"Oh, Peter hey. What's up? We don't have a project or any work today do we?"Gwen asked

"I'm not here for any type of work"Peter said before kissing Gwen who was caught by surprise before kissing back.

In Reality

Gwen looks in the mirror. She's in love with Peter Parker, she doesn't even know what about him she likes. Is it his quirky nature? Was it his IQ, was it his muscles or abs. Was it his wonderful personality? Maybe it was all of that, but all she knew that she was in love with Peter Parker.

What would she do though? How would she tell him her feelings? And what if he doesn't like her back? Would that affect their friendship?

Gwen then heard a knock at her dorm room. She walked towards the door and opened it.

"Oh, hey Peter"Gwen said

"Hey, Gwen. I have to tell you something"Peter said

"What is it? You can tell me anything"Gwen said

"Ok...here it goes...I like you"Peter said

"You like me?"Gwen asked

"No wait...I...love...you"Peter said

Gwen blushed. "Oh...that's certainly something"Gwen said

"I-Ill just go if you don't or just need some time to think"Peter said as he went to leave but Gwen grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a kiss.

They kissed for a minute before ceasing. "Oh...that was um..."Peter said

"...great"Gwen said

"Yeah...um. So do you want to...go get some lunch later"Peter said

"Actually I was actually going to lunch with Harry, but you can come. Harry wouldn't mind anyway"Gwen said

"Oh. Fine, sure"Peter said before walking away.

Gwen stared at Peter and sighed although the both of them didn't know that Jackal was staring at them through Gwen's window.

"So it looks like we've finally found the piece that will break the spider for good. We need to act now, now that the Parker clone is somewhere in the world, we have two threats, so it's now or never, no more playing around. Tonight, we will kill Spider-Man"Jackal said before jumping away.

Scene Change

Peter walks towards where Harry and Gwen were sitting.

"Hey, Pete what's up?"Harry asked

"Nothing. Nothing"Peter said as he looked at Gwen who stared back.

"So, what should we order? The pork ribs, the chicken tenders, the hamburger-"Harry read

"I'm fine. I'm just here to hang out..."Peter said

"Ok, then I'll get the hamburger and fries. Gwen what will you get?"Harry asked

"I'll have the pork ribs"Gwen said

The waiter then came over to the table.

"Can I take your order?"The waiter asked

"Yes, we'll have the hamburger and fries, and the pork ribs"Harry said but Peter was too occupied by the waiter, he looked strangely familiar, then it clicked kinda.

"Bec-?"Peter asked before the wall besides them bursted. Peter's vision went blurry for a bit as he looked around.

Peter's eyes widened as he saw Jackal.

"Hello there"Jackal said as he walked towards Harry who tried backing away but Jackal grabs him by his throat and lifts him up and starts choking him. Harry flails around as he started to lose air, Jackal smiled before tossing Harry to the side who was in shock of what just happened.

Peter then looked at Jackal who jumped over him and grabbed an unconscious Gwen.

"Gwen!"Peter said and Jackal jumped away. "No!"

Scene Change

Peter was at the hospital where Harry.

"Eyes! Yellow eyes!"Harry shouted as he was pushed by the gurney.

Peter was forced to stay in the waiting room, but then he got a call on his phone. It was from Gwen. Peter answered it and put his phone to his ear.

"Hello? Gwen? Are you alright?"Peter asked

"Can the Spider-Man come out to play?"Jackal said before laughing and hanging up.

"Jackal"Peter said. Jackal's been out of control, first destroying the mall, then the Bugle, then killing MJ and now he's kidnapping Gwen. No, it's time for things to end tonight.

Peter traces the call.

"Empire State Building"Peter said before walking out of the waiting room.

Scene Change

Spider-Man swings towards the Empire State Building where he sees Gwen hanging off.

"Gwen!"Spider-Man said before perching himself beside her. Gwen mumbled as her mouth was covered by duct tape. Spider-Man then ripped it off.

"Ow!"Gwen shouted

"We've got to get you out of here"Spider-Man said

"It's a trap!"Gwen said

"What?"Spider-Man asked before he gets tackled by Jackal. As the two fall they punch one another. Jackal kicks Spider-Man into the building wall before attaching himself onto the wall asp and began climbing up. Spider-Man jumps down and kicks Jackal in the face. The two begin to tussle. Jackal grabs Spider-Man by the face and slams him into the building. Spider-Man elbows Jackal in the face before kicking him off.

Spider-Man runs up the building to try and get Gwen but Jackal tackled him upwards and throws him onto the roof of the Empire State Building.

"Today you die Peter Parker"Jackal said

"I do t know who you are. But you've killed too many people, I can't allow you to roam free, I have to take you in"Spider-Man said

Jackal smiles and runs at Spider-Man who also runs at him and they both punch one another. Jackal recovers and punches Spider-Man twice across the face before uppercutting him and kicking him, sending him flying back.

Spider-Man uses his webs to launch himself at Jackal and kick him. The two continue their fierce brawl and Spider-Man dodges Jackal's attacks before kicking him off the building.

Spider-Man then jumps off and crawls towards Gwen. But then out of nowhere Jackal jumps up and cuts Gwen off. Gwen screams as she falls.

"Gwen!"Spider-Man said before jumping down, Jackal laughs maniacally in the background. Spider-Man knew he wasn't going to make it in time. Spider-Man then used his web to try and catch her. The web connects and stops Gwen but then a disturbing snap echoes throughout the entire city.

Spider-Man's eyes widen under his mask and he brings Gwen up. Spider-Man puts his ear to his heart only to hear no heartbeat.

"No. Gwen...nooooo!!!"Spider-Man shouts

"Now it's your turn! Spider-Man!!!"Jackal shouts but Spider-Man looks at Jackal before running up to him with Gwen still in his arms. Spider-Man lays Gwen down on the roof before turning his head slowly towards Jackal.

"Come on. Give me your best sho-"Jackal said before he gets punched across the face by Spider-Man. Spider-Man begins mercilessly punching Jackal across the face before using his webs to knee Jackal in the face. Spider-Man continues to pulverize Jackal who falls down but Spider-Man uses his webs to bring him back up only to keep pounding on him.

Spider-Man pulls his arm back for a one more strike and punches Jackal across his face. Jackal's head turns all the way to the side and a snap is heard before Jackal falls to the ground motionless.

Spider-Man looks at Jackal who's appearance starts to change into Warren.

"P-Professor Warren?"Spider-Man asked as he walked up and saw it was indeed Warren who was now killed.

Spider-Man then looked back at Gwen, in a way. He's the one who caused these deaths to happen, he killed both of them. But then a helicopter rides and a light shines on Spider-Man.

"Spider-Man. This is Captain George Stacy! We've caught you red handed! Put your hands in the air! You are under arrest!"George said

"Wait! I didn't do anything! I was just!"Spider-Man said but a bullet was shot at him and he dodged the bullet before other bullets started firing at him from multiple directions. Spider-Man continued to dodge, he knew he couldn't stay here.

Spider-Man jumped off and started swinging away.

Scene Change

It's three days later.

"Spider-Man was caught at the scene of the crime of where the corpses of Gwen Stacy and Doctor Miles Warren were! Spider-Man is a murderer! I told you all he was a no good, unhinged, foul brained menace!"Jameson said on the big screen. Peter looked at it before walking off.

Scene Change

Peter walks towards a familiar grave.

"Hey, May. I know I haven't visited in some time. I'm sorry, but I've been through a lot lately. I just lost someone else, and now everyone thinks Spider-Man is a bag guy again. I do truly realize now that, being Spider-Man is a danger to the ones I love, and that's why. I'm separating myself from everyone. If no one's near me then no one will get hurt right. Anyway, it's nice talking to you again. I'll see you next time I visit"Peter said before walking away.

Spider-Man and the characters associated with this Fanfiction belong to marvel.

Sorry the ending is rushed, because I haven't updated for a while and I just couldn't see how all the stuff I wanted would fit into the story and I wanted to get to the next Spider-Man story quickly. Honestly this is the best I can come up with, and I promise that the next story will be much better and not have a rushed ending like this one.
