A Surprise

Ted Lupin waved one last time good-bye to his grandmother Andromeda before the train finally started to move and she just disapparated from the platform.

Anticipated he made his way through the train to the prefect's compartment where he hoped to meet a certain someone he hadn't met once over the long holidays and therefore really missed.

Swinging he pulled open the door and said "Hi" to everybody but the one he had expected wasn't there yet.

"Hello, Ted, how was your summer", asked Fredward Bones, a nice Hufflepuff fifth year.

"Outstanding, and yours? As I can see you're a prefect too, now. Congratulations!"

"Thanks! My uncle has taken me to South Africa. That was really interesting."

"Oh nice, I stayed at home. Just visited my godfather once or twice... basically everyday", Ted explained while heaving up his trunk in the luggage stacking.

Fredward laughed.

"Thanks, Toby, but I'm sure I could have done it on my own", a sudden very familiar voice appeared behind them, and Ted turned around.

There she was: Victoire Weasley, the prettiest, nicest, and even cleverest girl he knew and right next to her stood his best friend since his first year at Hogwarts Toby Hill.

He smiled at Ted.

"Hey Teddy, how are you doing?", he asked with a wide smirk and hit him on his shoulders.

"Couldn't be any better", Ted answered and smirked back at him.

"Well, I don't want to bother any further, just been here to carry Vicky's stuff", Toby said, "See you later!"

Vicky?

Ted frowned.

"See you later too, Vicky", Toby added and turned to Victoire kissing her cheek before he vanished.

While Victoire's cheeks turned red as she had noticed everyone in their compartment stared at her, Ted's jaw simply dropped and his mouth fell open.

Had that seriously just happened?
