After the defeat of Majin Buu,Cheelai & Yamcha went back to their normal lives she wanted Cheecha to be a scientist,while Yamcha wanted her to be a Martial Artist.Cheecha trained with her parents everyday.Yamcha got a lot of popularity from winning the Martial arts tournament,but he made it clear Cheelai was his wife.Though this was opposed for business reasons,he denied claiming to be single. Cheelai got a lot of popularity as a scientist even opening up her own business,she became a full time mother.While Yamcha was working,Cheecha looked up to her father as "the best father ever"(IKR XD).When she turned 5 she was home schooled by Cheelai,& trained by Yamcha.They usually spent time together & took pictures giving Cheelai & Yamcha a reason to to live.
