Sitting with Pepper on one of the room's big sectional sofas, Tony watched as Steve stared out the big picture window.
"So, was that a big surprise to you?" Tony asked. "Rogers and Barnes? Cause gotta say I did not see that coming."
"I knew. Nat knew. Clint and Sam knew." Pepper shrugged. "Steve said he didn't want you to know."
Tony gaped at her.
Pepper managed to hold it together for just a couple more seconds before she burst out laughing.
Tony groaned. "Oh, you wench!"
She kissed him lightly on the lips. "You make it pretty easy, babe."
