So I wrote the entire thing...and hated how it turned out so I changed it. Not only was I dealing with that I quit my job cause I was sick was covid and they threaten to fire me if I didn't come into work. Plus my school started just as I got covid and I emailed all my teachers to make sure I didn't miss anything and the only problem was two of my teachers don't ready their 'work' email and dropped me out of the class and I had this whole ordeal to get back into them.
So enjoy I have a few chapters written now I'll try to post twice a week starting this week Mondays and Saturdays!
Also, have another story idea, or I should try to finish my other stories.
A half a year later. Lucys P.O.V
I opened my eyes and the light shined through my blinds I rolled over in my bed and laid my head on Natsu's chest. Wrapping my arms around his neck and held on to him tightly. "You love him~" I rolled my eyes and pushed happy off the bed with my foot.
Natsu was snoring slightly and I smiled. 'He's cute when he's sleeping, at least when he's not sleeping and punching me' thinking back to when Lisanna came back and everyone partied. "He really knocked me halfway across the stupid city."
I got up and stretched looking to my open window. "He never closes it." I groaned slipping out of bed and closing the window. A weird feeling fell over me with fear as I looked around nothing was out there but I couldn't move my body.
"Luce?" I snapped out of it looking back outside I sighed and turned to the groggy Natsu who sat up reaching out his arms to me. I felt my whole body wrapped in his warmth as I sat on his lap and leaned into his chest. "You ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for sleeping over again." I could feel him shift his weight and felt happy eyes on us. "Even if you brought the stupid cat."
"I'm not stupid lucy!" Happy countered with annoyance. Throwing a pillow at the duo.
"Hey, luce you ready for today were taking a huge mission!" Natsu's arms tighten as he lifted me off him as he stood up and spun me around.
"Ahhh!" I screamed and wrapped my arms around his neck and just as I did the arms go of me and I was flung around in a circle trying not to fly off as he laughed his head off as he spun.
"Natsu I think lucys turning green, Ewwww" Natsu stopped spinning and I fell to the ground he knelt beside me a huge toothy grin plastered to his face. His onyx eyes glossed over with joy as he looked down at me.
He placed a hand on my head and mess with my hair. "She ok, right luce." I nodded a bit to Squamish from being spun to really respond.
He helped me up and I crossed my arms over my chest with annoyance. "Honestly Natsu you really are so childish." I made sure to give him a small playful smirk. "Imma take a shower before I head to the guild met you there?" Natsu pouted and walked over and wrapped his arms around me again.
"Luce, how long do we gotta keep hiding." He mumbled into my shoulder.
"Natsu was not hiding." I giggled putting my hands on his face and making him look up a time. "Natsu I like not having everyone get up on our business. They make bets with each other about others the only thing I sometimes hate cause it revolves around me half the time. We won't 'hide' it forever maybe if there went as dense as we were they would have figured it out already."
"That's right Natsu! You guys always acted lovely Dovey and lucy doesn't shut it down as much anymore there just stupid!"
"Happy, you only know because we told you last month." I cocked a brow at the blue cat who just looked away quickly. "But really they will know but I love it just being us, not us and Mira and erza and master and everyone else asking a million stupid questions."
"I get it but I wanna kiss you at the guild, and I hate when others flirt with you cause they think you're single." I felt the heat rise in the room and sigh,
"I'll meet you at the guild ok, I'm yours so don't worry about other people cause they don't mean anything ok." He nodded and I kissed him quickly before shoving them both out. I stepped into the shower and let the hot water run off my body. I thought back to earlier I wasn't sure what that feeling was, It was like when my dad had stalked me for a bit to get money from me but it was different.
"I should have told Natsu, or maybe I was too tired and just spaced out?" I groaned as I hopped out of the shower putting on my black skirt, and my blue and white top my back felt a small breeze and I groaned "I didn't even close the window!" I went over and shut the window latching it before grabbing my keys and my purse
"Hey, Erza!" I walked into the guild erza was standing in front of Natsu and grey who was sitting like two little kids. "What they do this time?" she looked over to me fear washed over me as I looked past her to the table where there was a smashed cake. "Ahhh actually never mind."
I whispered sorry as Natsu looked with me pleading and dashed off to the bar, giggling as I sat down. "Honestly those too always end up ruining her cake." Lisanna walked over with a tray of drinks. "hey lucy a smoothie." She passed me a smoothie and I smiled.
"Thanks wheres Mira?" looking around the bar with no sign of the long-haired take-over mage. "I wanted to ask her something before we left on the mission."
"She's actually out with big brother EL, on a mission so I'm here helping out. You need me to do anything lucy?" I bit my lip and shook my head.
"No it's probably nothing honestly, it's fine." I took the smoothie and left the bar waving at Lisanna as I walked away. "It might just me overthink. Yeah that it"
"lucy if you keep talking to your self people are gonna think you crazy" happy flew on my head and nestled into my hair.
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes and went back to erza who got another cake and was peaceful. "Everyone ready for the job?"
"Ah lucy yes, we're going to be gone for a while but we should be back by next week." Natsu came over and sat at the booth with grey in tow.
"Did you learn your lesson?" Happy asked as they nodded, I couldn't help but smile brightly only to get glares from the two.
"So erza what's the mission anyway? Will I be able to pay my rent?" I groaned thinking about how close it was due and I didn't have the money yet.
"It's just a simple job were going to just work as event guards." I looked to Natsu who was grinning. 'He said this was a huge job' I narrowed my gaze to him but he didn't notice as Lisanna came over and plopped two plates in front of each of them.
I turned my attention back to erza "We will leave today and the event will last a few days so well take turns with different positions and go from there. We need more information on the event but I think it's a festival for a small town."
