The next morning had not taken long to arrive for the travelers with some who had been sleeping. One person in their group of eleven still slept peacefully upon her blanket, her cape warped around her body to keep the blond woman warm from the cool air of night. Although she was asleep the sun had not risen yet and was still at the moment behind the horizon slowly making it's way towards them.

Serenity laid sleeping peacefully till she was suddenly shaking awake, taken away from her peace. She look over to see what had waken her to find it was a who. The elf, Legolas, stood above her an apologetic look in his blue eyes.

"I'm sorry to wake you Serenity but we must wake everyone up so we may leave. Gandalf's orders I'm afraid." He explained to her quickly. Serenity smile at the elf and shook her head.

"It tis all right Legolas, I understand. There is no need to apologize." She replied kindly to him. Legolas smiled at the woman before him having such kindness in her heart and much courage for coming on such a perilous journey. Legolas held his hand out to the young blond before him to help her out. Serenity smile at seeing his hand come out from beside him to help her get up. She took his hand grateful for the help and stood up. Once Serenity was standing up she looked up to the elf a smile graced on her face.

"Thank you." She replied to him her blue eyes sparkling in the light of the little fire the hobbits had made for their meal. Legolas nodded his head a small smile on her face.

"Your welcome my lady. Now I am off to wake the dwarf." He stated to her a grim expression upon his face making Serenity laugh lightly at the comment. Legolas walked away from the blond woman he had met a few days ago to wake a certain red headed dwarf.

Serenity then turn her attention to packing her things up quickly not wasting anytime so she may eat before their journey started once more. After a few minutes she had put her things where they belonged and turn around to find that everyone else was awake now even a dwarf who was making his way over to the fire, where the food was grumbling to himself. Serenity seeing the dwarf grumbled at the fact that an elf woke him made her smile in amusement. She looked over the little camping ground of theirs till she found a wizard and a familiar person in the far corner. She found her brother, Aragorn, talking to Gandalf at the moment. What they were talking about she did not know but had a feeling it had to do with what path they would take to Mordor no doubt.

Aragorn who stood a little far off from the others with Gandalf spoke quietly with the wizard about matters of importance when he felt eyes upon him. He used his instincts to find who watching him for his gaze to come upon his sister watching him a small smile on her face. Aragorn gave his sister a small smile and nod of his head in a silent greeting of good morning to her. Aragorn watched as Serenity's smile grew a little bigger seeing she had gotten her brother's attention before her she felt a tug on her right leg making her looking down. Aragon was happy to have this sister back with him and knowing she was alive even if it meant her being on their journey.

Gandalf who was standing by the prince found his attention had been averted to somewhere else. The wizard followed to what Aragorn was looking upon to find that he was looking at the blond woman he had learned to be Aragorn's sister at the council. Gandlaf watched as Serenity spoke to the young hobbit, Sam, who was giving the young blond her breakfast.

"She is a very stubborn woman I must say." Gandalf stated to Aragorn quietly. Aragorn nodded his head in agreement to the wizards comment.

"She has been ever since we were children." He muttered memories wanting to return a small smile on his face as he watched his sister. Gandalf sighed heavily knowing that their journey would become more dangerous as time would move on and he wondered how much help the young blond would be.

"There is still much of this journey yet that will be perilous we have not yet faced and I believe she will be of help in more ways then one." Gandalf said quietly for only him and Aragorn would hear. Aragorn turn his head to the wizard at the comment he had made confusion written in his eyes. But Gandalf just smile his eyes holding mystery to them before turning his attention back to the group before him. Aragorn wondered what Gandalf meant by that though he did not speak anymore about it.

Serenity who had been looking at her brother that was until a tug on her right pant leg had gotten her attention. She look down to see what was tugging upon her pants to find the small hobbit, Sam, there. She smile warmly at the small hobbit.

"Yes, Sam, can I help you?" She asked kindly her eyes sparkling with wonder and curiosity in them.

"I…I have your breakfast for you my lady. I thought you should eat before we left." He stuttered to her quietly his cheeks and ears red in embarrassment for stuttering. Serenity smiled and was shocked to see the hobbit to be concern about her. She knelt down to her knees so she would be eye level the young hobbit.

"Thank you Sam that is very kind of you. But I will only eat your wonderful looking breakfast if for now on you call me Serenity. There is no need to be formal with names dear hobbit." She stated kindly to the young hobbit before her a smile still on her lips. Sam relaxed upon hearing what Serenity had spoken and smiled at her.

"Of course my lady…I mean Serenity." He said quickly fixing his mistake so that the young blond would eat the breakfast he had made for everyone. Sam then gave the soup he had made to Serenity would now held it in her hands.

"Now let's go and eat with the others for you shall need your strength as well." She said to him. The two then made their way over to the small group that was eating by the fire and talking quietly with one another.

Legolas upon wakening the blond beauty he meant in Rivendell had been watching Serenity without her knowledge. He was curious about the young woman and wanted to learn more about her as well as get to know her. Although he knew he would protect Frodo and the ring he had come to realize he wanted to protect Serenity with his life as well. He did not know why he felt this way towards the blond but he would do what he felt no matter what. Legolas sighed heavily having watched Serenity speak to the one hobbit and then follow him to where the others were sitting by the fire. Once she was there he turn his attention back getting his bow and quills onto his back again.

Amarie had been woken up from her sleep by voices earlier in the morning. After she had awoken from her sleep she quickly put her things away so that she to be ready to begin their journey once more with no need to wait. Since she had finished her packing she made her way over to the small group of hobbits by the fire to have something to eat since she had nothing better to do and Serenity was still sleeping she thought it best to let the princess for a bit more before waking her. While making her way gracefully over to the small group she noticed the man, Boromir, speaking to the hobbit Pippin about something. She made her way over and sat down next to Frodo and Merry.

"Good morning. I must say that the food smells just wonderful." She greeted them making conversation with the two hobbits was between her. Frodo smile at the elf and made a meal for the elf to give to her.

"Thank you Lady Amarie but I must admit that it was Sam who cooked this meal and not I." He stated back to her giving her a warm bowl of soup to eat. Amaire took the book kindly saying her thanks to Frodo.

"Please you may call me Amarie. There is no formal needed here." She told him politely taking a bite of her soup. Frodo smile at Amarie at hearing her speak that.

"Very well then, Amarie it is." He replied back smiling at her. Amarie just smile back going back to eating her warm meal.

Serenity and Sam made their way over to the group by the fire and sat down by their friends. Serenity sat across from Amarie and Sam sat next to Serenity smiling at each of them as she made her way over.

"Good morning to you all. I hope you slept well on the ground." She greeted them kindly gracefully sitting down and crossing her legs.

"Good morning my lady." Boromir stated to Serenity before speaking once more. "I believe we all got as good as sleep as we can for sleeping on the ground." He stated to her kindly. Serenity nodded her head in understanding.

"I know what you mean. But please call me Serenity no need to formality and it goes with everyone here. I hate having to be formal when there is no need to be." She had to said to everyone so they knew how she felt. Boromir bowed his head a bit a smile on her face. Amarie sighed heavily before she stopped eating and smile at the others before her.

"The same with me. I do not need formality either." She said smiling to them looking at each. Amarie gazed at Boromir longer then she tended to both meeting eye to eye for a few brief seconds but Amarie turn away to finish her soup. Serenity had seen the tense gaze between the man from Gondor and her friend. She wondered why it seemed tense but dared not say anything in front of the others so she decided to speak about it later to Amarie the next chance they were alone.

It had not taken long for everyone to finish their meals and by the time Gandalf and Aragorn had returned to sit with the group to speak with them. The sun was just about to rise above the horizon to have its first bit of rays come to light up the beginning of the new day. Gandalf smile warmly at the group before him seeing that everyone had finished their eating and were ready to move on with their journey once more.

"Now that we have all awaken and ate we must make haste to being another day of our journey I'm afraid. Sam would you please put the pots you used away. Amarie could you put this fire out as well." He ordered them kindly but sternly. Amarie nodded her head and went to get some water for the fire while Sam began to work on putting the pots he had brought along with him back onto this pack for the journey.

The group had set off for their long journey once more. The group made its way towards another long journey to Mordor to destroy the one ring with Frodo. The line with as thus: Gandalf and Aragorn in the front, Merry and Pippin, Boromir, Gimil, Sam and Frodo, Serenity and Amarie and the last Legolas.

Serenity had been walking for some time with her friend quietly as they made their way further north. Serenity found that now would be the best time to speak to her elf friend, Amarie about what she had seen earlier for was upset that her friend was upset.

"Amarie, what has made you so angry?" Serenity asked quietly so only Amarie could hear here. Amarie turn her attention towards the blond princess beside her confusion evident in her purple eyes.

"What do you mean, Serenity?" She asked her wondering if her friend had sense her anger towards the man from Gondor. Serenity sighed heavily choosing her words carefully so as not hurt the scout of Saturn.

"I saw you look at Boromir and it was tense I must say. You seemed to be angry with him. Do you wish to speak about it?" Serenity asked quietly to her friend worried written in her eyes. Amarie saw the emotion in Serenity's eyes and knew she was only trying to help.

"It is nothing Serenity. You do not need to worry about me Serenity I can take care of myself." She stated back a smile on her face. Serenity nodded her head in understanding that Amarie wished to deal with her problems on her own.

"As you wish Amarie. But if you chance your mind I am still here and willing to speak to you about it." Serenity replied back to her a serious look on her face. Amarie nodded her head signaling she understood what Serenity had said.

"Thank you Serenity. I shall keep that in mind." Amarie said back quietly turning her gaze back to the front as they kept on walking. The two said nothing further for there was no need for anything else to be said between them. Amaire seeing the one hobbit named Pippin fall to the ground made her way up to him to see if he was all right leaving, Serenity by herself. Serenity smile watching her friend help the young hobbit up the two laughing about something she did not hear. While she watched Amarie and the others she suddenly felt a present beside her. She did not need to look to see who was by her side for she knew it was Legolas that now took Amarie's place in walking with her.

"You seemed troubled about something, Serenity. Is there something I may do to help?" He asked her quietly still walking beside the young woman. Serenity smile turning her head to the elf beside her.

"No, nothing is troubling me." Serenity stated to him turning her head back to gazing the group ahead of her.

"I did not mean to over hear your conversation with your friend, Amarie, but you seemed worried about her I take it." He replied to her trying to help the young woman as much as possible. Serenity chuckled realizing that she could not fool Legolas by how she felt.

"It seems that I can not fool you as I thought I would be able to with my words. But yes I do worry. But I do not worry just about Amarie but everyone here." She finished explaining to him, sighing heavily her eyes never leaving the group. "I worry only of losing a member, though I hope it does not come to that." She finished a sad frown upon her lips with a sadness in her eyes. Legolas gave Serenity a small smile of reassurance and put his hand on her shoulder as well.

"As do I Serenity and will do anything to keep that from happening I promise you that." He promised her a serious look now upon his face his blue eyes holding determination in them. Serenity smiled warmly at the elf who only tried to help her out and was grateful to have someone to speak too besides her brother and Amarie.

"I promise to do the same whatever power I have to help. And thank you for listening to me speak about my worries for I dare not say a word of this to my brother for I would not wan to worry him more then he probably feels now." She said having thanked the him for listening to her and was happy now to have someone to talk to. Serenity turn her attention back to the group as they kept on walking more happy and felt as though a burden had been lifted from her shoulders.

The two walk on for a few minutes both in their own thoughts about the out come of war that was sure to come upon Middle Earth soon. Both knew that they would lost many lives in the process and hoped that they would not lose the ones they cared for and befriended. The quietness between the two lasted for a moment more until Legolas spoke once more.

"May I ask a question, Serenity?" He asked her bringing her back from her own thoughts. Serenity turn her head to the elf an eyebrow raised in curiosity upon what the elf would want to know.

"Yes you may." She said to him a smile on her face and curiosity filled her eyes making them beautiful in the sun's rays. Legolas stepped over a big rock very gracefully like an elf would before he asked his question.

"I was only curious to know why you chose to come with us on such perilous journey. You are brave to journey with us and I am honored to have you with us." He asked her quietly helping her across a small stream by taking her hands into his to help her balance. Serenity sighed heavily before she spoke and began walking on with the group once more.

"Thank you." She said sighing heavily looking ahead at her brother talking to Amarie as they were talking about something, most likely on old memories. Legolas taking Serenity's quietness as a sign for not wanting to speak about such matters spoke quickly worried he had offended on the blond beauty before him.

"I am truly sorry if I have offended you in any way my lady. I was only curious and if you wish not to speak of the matter I understand." He replied back apologizing to her. Serenity shook her head at the words he had spoken.

"No its quit all right Legolas I was merely thinking and only got lost in my thoughts. As for your question as to why I came along it has to do with many reasons I must say." She took a deep breath before she spoke some more. " I joined this journey because I know that my brother would join as well and I was not going to leave him to go on this journey alone and without me. I love him to much to and will do anything to keep in safe. I also knew that a great war was coming and I refused to stay safe when others would be dying to fight such a war, so I joined and plan to help in anyway I may." She explained to him a look of determination on her features. Legolas nodded his head a small smile on his face and understanding in his eyes.

"Well, I am glad to have you with us Serenity." He said to her. The two as they made their way further on kept on talking to one another getting to know each other better.

Darkness had finally fallen for the night signaling the end of their journey until the next morning when the long journey to Mordor would begin again. The group had quickly set up the places for where they would be sleeping later that night. Sam and Amarie had made a fire so they could make their dinner for everyone was hungry. The others sat around the fire for sometime speaking about tales they had heard while eating and getting to know one another. It was not long after when everyone laid down to sleep for the night. While Serenity took the first watch for the night.

Serenity sat by the fire gazing into it thinking about her friends in the other dimension. She knew the scouts would be worried about her and Amarie's safety but they would be all right while she was gone. They had so many years of peace Serenity did not think there would be a enemy for a long time. The young blond sighed heavily taking a sip of drink of water she had that was in her left hand. Just then a hand was upon her shoulder, making her jump, she quickly looked up to find Gandalf standing above her a small smile on his face.

"Hello my dear, may I sit here?" He asked her kindly a twinkle in his eyes. Serenity smile warmly at the man who seemed like an grandfather to her as she got to know him.

"Of course Gandalf, but you should be resting for the journey tomorrow." Serenity insisted not wanting the wizard to be weary on their journey. Gandalf just smile at her and sat down by the young woman. He took his pipe out of his pocket where he kept it and lit it. Once he had it lit he began to smoke the pipe. Serenity just sat there watching the wizard with curiosity a small smile to her face. Gandalf seeing that Serenity was watching him took his pipe out of his mouth and smiled at her.

"There is a reason as to why I am here, sitting with you." He told Serenity honestly his face becoming serious now. Serenity raised an eyebrow in question wondering what he meant by that for he spoke in riddles at times.

"What would that be Gandalf?" She questioned him wondering what the wizard was thinking at the moment. Gandalf sighed heavily taking the pipe and bringing it back away from his mouth.

"I know more than you realize dear, Serenity. I know about you then you think." He said eyeing Serenity's reaction carefully all whole time who spoke. Serenity remained quiet but kept her gaze upon Gandalf, her blue eyes holding much confusions in them letting him speak before she say anything.

"I know about the moon, Serenity, and your mother as well." This statement earned a gasp from Serenity. Her eyes went wide in shock from hearing him say this. Gandalf kept looking at Serenity watching her shock features slowly relax a bit. "Think back to those last few days on the moon. Remember what truly happened on the day the Moon Kingdom was destroyed." He instructed her, watching her every move. Serenity stared at Gandalf wondering how he knew such things. Her heart told her to do what he asked her to do. So she did.

Serenity closed her eyes slowly. She then took slow deep breaths letting her memories come back to her of her past. Finally images flashed into her mind of many different things she knew and remembered. She saw images of the princess of the other planets, of her mother the Queen of the Moon. She saw images of Airtimes and Luna. She also saw the Prince of Earth. But the last image is what was a new one of a memory forgotten until now.

An image of a old man that look just like Gandalf appeared before her. Serenity realized that she was in the garden and it was night out. Serenity was crying about something while Gandalf just held her, reassuring her that things would be all right in the end. Serenity tried to remember why she was crying but it would not come to for a minute but then it dawned on her. Serenity snapped her eyes open having remembered what had truly happened on the Moon a thousands years ago. She looked at Gandalf a small smile came to her face her memories having been fully restored.

"I remember now. You were always there for me when I needed you the most. Even at the very end when I was died." Serenity said tears emerging from her eyes threatening to spill over. Gandalf smiled warmly at her. An understanding finally between the two. Serenity now understood why Gandalf seemed to know the story about the Moon Kingdom. She got up and suddenly hugged the wizard, tears spilling out of her eyes of happiness.

"I'm so glad you are alive……Grandfather." She whispered to him crying out of pure joy.
