*~Next Chapter~*

Serenity after realizing the truth as to why Gandalf seemed to know about the story she had told to the fellowship made sense for he had known about the Moon Kingdom all along. Serenity pulled away from her Grandfather to return to her spot by the fire wiping away the tears that were left on her cheeks, remaining quiet so as not to wake the others. Gandalf smile at the young woman, his Granddaughter had become, proud of her. Serenity smile at seeing him here but wondered deep down how he had come to live in the past instead of in the future with the others.

" You must be wondering how I was brought here, like yourself, and Amarie. I'm sorry to say that I have not figured it out yet my dear, but I would like to hear on matters of where you have been." He stated to Serenity calmly to her, his eyes holding curiosity in them, before putting his pipe in his mouth. She saw the curiosity in his eyes and that smile on her face, she knew he had still not changed for he always loved hearing stories.

Serenity sighed heavily realizing it would take time to explain about her past. She wish not to speak about the past for there were many painful memories she would like to not ever look back upon those painful days. She look into the fire her eyes glazing over has many old memories flashed before her.

"Serenity?" the deep voiced spoke bringing her back from her own thoughts. Serenity look up to see her Grandfather looking at her with concern in his eyes, his pipe away from his mouth, a look of puzzlement on his face. She smile sweetly at him, the memories leaving. She nodded her head to proceed to tell her story of what she knew.

"When I was reborn, I was born here in Middle Earth as Princess Serenity of Gondor, sister of Aragorn. I grew up living with my brother and mother from here for 12 years of my life (We know that really right now that Aragorn is 78 in the movie and so Serenity would be the same age so she is. I don't know how long 12 years go by between their actual age but that was how she looked to be when she was taken away so she is around Aragorn's age for she been in the future for many years but just aged like Aragorn. She was also much older when she meant the scouts but looked fourteen at the time. Its complicated but just go with it please.) when I then been taken away by Sailor Pluto on my 12 birthday. The day before I been taken I had received all of my memories back about the Moon Kingdom. I have know about the true destruction of the Moon Kingdom, everyone on the moon, and our little traitor on the moon." She said the last part with much bitter, anger flashed in her eyes at the mention of the traitor. But She pushed the painful memories away to continue on with her story.

"The only thing I did not remember was you. There were a person in my memories but I could never remember you but I remember everything else. When Trista took me we lived in the future for many years learning about the future, waiting for the scouts to become age as the scouts, and Beryl to arrive. Berly finally did when the inners were fourteen. I found the inner scouts one by one acting as if I did not know how to fight or who the princess truly was. I acted much different from who I truly was so they would not know I had been in the past and much older than them. We learned of the Princess and the Prince were during a big battle, the scouts only receiving some of their memories back. Soon we fought went looking for Berly, the scouts died one by one till I was left to fight her on my own. Berly and I fought for I won but had died only to be brought back till the next dark power would come and try to destroy earth. After that a couple of years went by and we fought many battles, and evils before the outers showed up. Then I learned of Amarie, who had come do the future from being in Middle Earth as well and we talked about our family and Middle Earth unknown to any of the scouts. She also had received her full memories intact. We all fought together against many evils until our final battle at the age of 18 the scouts were." She explained to him taking a deep breath as the memories flooded to her retelling her past to him. Her eyes held much pain in them for many reasons. Seeing the deaths of friends so many times, always having to battle, having to hide the truth from them, missing her brother and Middle Earth. The list could go on but there were times when she did have good memories but sadly she had to much to speak about and just wanted to get the major things told.

"Before our biggest battle I confronted that traitor about the day we died and saying I known about it for many years. I did not to tell the others, but to stay away from my friends for the rest of time, then I turn my back to never look upon that face again. The scouts and I fought our last big battle and won in the end with major lives taken. The scouts had died and I had become Sailor Cosmos in the end, but somehow I was able to bring them back to life losing that form. I was able to keep their powers and use them without needing to transform. After that a few more years went by for Amarie, and myself." She stopped for a minute taking a drink of the cool water to wet her throat for it was dry for talking. After she had taken her drink she proceeded to finish her long story her eyes on the fire as the memories flashed in her mind retelling her story.

"For these past seven years there has been peace. The scouts went their ways to live their life and make their dreams come true, while Amaire and I stayed where we were to spend time with one another. Then for the past month we have felt a dark power growing in Middle Earth in our hearts. Amarie and I thought it best to return to Middle Earth for fear there was some terrible things to happen so we returned. Amarie and I returned to Middle Earth to make our journey to Rivendell where Amarie had lived with her father Lord Elrond." She explained taking a deep breath.

" And you know the rest." She finished looking back at him a frown on her face. Gandalf sat there for a few minutes not saying anything just looking at the young blond woman who sat before him, his pipe in his mouth. Serenity sat quietly looking at him waiting for a reply. After another minute or so Gandalf took his pipe out of his mouth, blowing smoke out his mouth lightly.

"You have had a perilous journey for many years. This journey will be just as perilous as you may all ready know Serenity and you will have a important part in his war just like your brother shall." He answered her in a mysterious voice. "But I must say we should not speak about who you truly are yet or let anyone find out for if Sauron learns of truly how powerful you are, Serenity I fear what he will do to get you. It would be wise to keep quiet." He replied very sternly acting very serious now. Serenity nodded her head in understanding.

"I know I had thought of that very same thing. I have told Amarie not to use our powers unless we must." She answered back to him in seriousness as tiredness slowly started to creep up in her body.

"Does Amarie know about the past when I lived on the Moon?" He questioned Serenity looking at her curious. Serenity nodded her head no.

"She has all of her memories back except for you, that I am sure of." She said to him before she start yawn. Gandalf realizing that it was getting late and Serenity would need her rest decided to end their discussion for the night.

"You need your rest dear child for the journey tomorrow. Go and rest for the night I shall keep watch. It would be best to say anything about your new knowledge of me and the past yet Serenity." He said to her gravely. Serenity nodded her head a small smile on her face.

"I shall not speak a word Grandfather. Good night." She said to him as she stood up to go to where her things were. She then proceeded to leave the fire and return to her area where would be sleeping. Gandalf watched his granddaughter get up and settle on the ground as she wrapped her cloak around her body to keep warm from the cool air of the night. Gandalf sighed heavily wondering how this war would turn out in the end.

The Fellowship had walk for many days through the woods heading south until all were weary and stumbled from the journey. They would then stop for the rest of the day, eat, rest and then set the watch up. Each of the Fellowship member took a turn in a watch for a few hours so that the others may rest from the long day journey. While the fellowship moved on further south towards the Gap of Rohan each learned about the other people in the fellowship. Everyone seem to get along now better than before, each relaying on one another for support, still have earned their respect and care for one another.

Things seem quiet at the moment with no enemies showing up. But the journey had not ended yet but they stopped at the top of the RedHorn just below the mountain of Caradhras the fellowship took rest. Boromir was with the two hobbits, Merry and Pippin, teaching them how to sword fight while Aragorn observe the two hobbits fighting Boromir. Frodo and Sam were sitting by one another on a white big rock, eating their breakfast, as they watched their fellow hobbits learn to use a sword talking as the ate.

Serenity stood back behind the two hobbits to their left watching Pippin and Merry learn to use a sword with amusement sparkling in her eyes merrily for a change, a smile grace on her lips. Legolas stood next to the blond beauty his attention averted to the area around him as keep his sense alerted for any enemies spying on them during the day. Gandalf sat on a big boulder that were together with other ones and the furthest away from everyone. He sat comfortable his long gray hair pulled back in a half pony tail so it was out of his eyes from seeing, smoking his pipe while watching the Fellowship just enjoying the peace and rest for the moment. Amarie sat next to the old wizard on the boulders as well, laying on them as she kept her eyes closed basking in the warmth of the sun the rays were shinning on her. Glimi, the dwarf, was standing next to where Gandalf sat his helmet off, all the while holding his ax in his left hand.

"Gandalf I believe you are taking the long way around to Mordor." His deep voice said with sarcasm in it to the gray wizard before him. Gandalf turn the dwarf a amused look upon his face at the words the dwarf had just spoken. Gandalf just sat their keeping quiet as the dwarf kept speaking. "We should go to the Mines of Moria. My cousin Balin would give us a royal welcome." he stated to Gandalf very proudly to him. Gandalf's face quickly changed from amusement to seriousness at the mention of Moria a hint of fear hidden by his eyes.

"I would not take that path, Glimi, unless all other paths are not possible." He answered back to Glimi. Amarie who was on the boulder next to Gandalf heard what he had just said and wondered what he meant by that. She could hear the fear in his voice has he spoke hiding the fear very well with the sternness of it but her sensitive ears had picked it up.

Serenity watched as Merry got cut with the sword by Boromir. Then the young hobbit kicked Boromir back in the shin as tried to apologize for hurting him. But before Boromir could regain his balance from being kicked by the hobbit, and properly defend himself, both of them jumped on top of him the taller man making him fall to the ground. Boromir lost his breath for a few seconds having both hobbits bring him down the ground. Then Merry and Pippin started to wrestle with him laughing all the while with Boromir. Aragorn chuckled at the scene of the two hobbits taking the man from Gondor down so fast and hard by the unsuspecting person. He looking upon them with amusement in his eyes and his heart lighten up a bit more.

While Serenity stood watching the funny scene Amarie's voice cut in quickly. When Amarie spoke to the blond friend she spoke in a language that only Serenity and her knew of which was the language of the Moon.

"Serenity, I feel a dark power making haste as it approaches us." Amarie stated to the woman all of a sudden in the language of the Moon. Serenity smile vanished as she turn around sharply to see Amarie no longer laying down but sitting on the rocks her eyes holding fear for the safety of the others. Her focus no longer on the other people around her just Amarie she spoke back to her.

"Where is this dark power you feel at?" She questioned back quickly and sternly wanting to hide the others before it reached them. Amarie nodded her head to her left as she spoke indicating the way the power was coming from. Serenity believe her friend Amarie since she is the dark scout she would feel dark power coming before anyone else would having learned to control her powers of Saturn and feel dark forces coming as well knowing the feeling of the power. Serenity turn her head in the direction where Amarie had said it was coming from but her eyes did not see anything.

Legolas who had been standing next to Serenity had heard the beautiful but unknown language being spoken, he listen to the women speak to one another curious to learn more about this language that sounded similar to the elves. While the elf listen to the two women speak in a unknown language he watched their reaction trying to understand what was being said. Amarie and Serenity both seemed very serious about what the matters they were speaking of and knew something was wrong. But before Legolas could speak he noticed something in the sky that was dark that gained his attention. Serenity and Amarie had cease their talking and were looking in the sky as well he realized.

Even Gandalf taking his pipe out of his mouth and Glimi who were listening now turn their gazes upon what look to be a dark cloud in the sky moving swiftly in the sky. Aragorn who had noticed the others gazing in the sky stood up slowly wondering what was approaching them even the four hobbits and Boromir had stopped what they were doing and looking the dark cloud that was in the sky.

"What is that dark spot moving?" Pippin asked curiously his curiosity getting the better of him as usual. Merry just shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm not sure Pip, but it is moving." He answered back his eyes looking at the dark cloud wondering what the object was as well.

"It's nothing young hobbit but a wisp of cloud. Nothing to fear." Glimi replied calmly in a nonchalant voice his ax in his hand still. Serenity took a step closer trying to see the dark cloud truly was.

"It is moving fast against the wind, I fear this is something we should worry about master Glimi." Amarie wisely spoke to him using her skilled eyes to see the dark cloud when they suddenly went wide having been able to recognized the dark cloud. "It is not a cloud but Crebain from Dunland!" Amaire yelled out quickly to the others jumping down from her rock with grace.

"Everyone hide! Sam the fire!" Aragorn ordered out hastily grabbing his things from the ground and moving with much haste to the rock where Sam and Frodo had been standing on to hide. The others also moved with much haste as they found a place to hide quickly.

Serenity was suddenly being pulled by Legolas before she had a chance to do anything towards the brushes with him. Serenity understanding that Legolas was only trying to help her hide they both jumped into the brushes and got down on her side flat as well as Legolas. Serenity could feel Legolas' chest pressed against her back as they kept still, waiting for the birds to pass on by hoping they would not be seen.

Amaire having declared the birds were crebin had then gracefully jumped off the rock she only moments before been relaxing on. She grabbed her cloak from where it laid on the ground and turn to her left and to where there were bushes and went into them with much haste as the others ran into hiding as well. When she was laying low on her stomach in the bush a sudden rustle startled her made Amarie look up to find the man from Gondor laying right in front of her breathing out from running. He gave her a small smile but spoke no words so as not to let the birds find their spot of hiding.

Gandalf stood up from his spot and turn to where his back had been facing coming down the big rock he was sitting on just moments before and found a small hole in between two rocks. The gray wizard got into the tight space of the dark cavern his staff and gray hat in his hands.

Sam after having to put the fire out with a cup of water he had been drinking with must speed he could muster up grabbed his bags and pots to run under the ledge of the rock he and Frodo that had been standing on top of. The young ring barrier having joined his hobbit friend under the ledge as well.

Aragorn at once hearing what was flying in the air be declared by the dark hair elf had order Sam to put the fire out and then he grabbed his things that were laying on the ground next to the rock he had been occupying while watching Pippin and Merry moments before. He grabbed his sword and cloak he glanced to see where his sister was to find her running with Legolas to hide Aragorn was relieved to know that she would be fine with the elf. He dove into the hiding spot with Frodo and Sam were to get out of sight of the birds.

Merry and Pippin realizing the danger they would be in if they did not hide like others were in the fellowship hastily grabbed their swords and clocks in their arms and ran to the right where there was two rocks together that made a little cavern for the two hobbits to fit in ran to it. The two ran into the carven their backs pressed up against the rock and kept as quiet as mice.

Glimi having realized what the elf said grabbed his helmet from the ground to put on and making sure he had his prized ax was in his hands ran past where Serenity and Legolas were hiding and hide in a brush not to far from them keeping his guard up at all times his ax ready for battle should there be one as he watched the birds fly by.

It was a few minutes as the fellowship hide from sight of the black birds as they flew past them. The members of the fellowship kept quiet holding their breath as the birds made their journey on looking for the enemy as they moved on. When the birds had finally past and were once more out of sight from the fellowship, each member slowly came out of hiding, looking to make sure there was no other creature around that could be spying on them.

Each look startled and wondered if they had been discovered but hoped that their secret mission had not yet been revealed to the Dark Lord or Saurman. Gandalf came out holding his staff as he made his way down the stones to join the others his expression holding concern and worried.

"The path south of us has been watched, by Saruman's birds, we shall have to make our path through the cold Mountains." He spoke to them clearly his face grim as he turned his attention to the mountain before where top was covered with snow. Each of the fellowship gazed up at the cold mountain having heard Gandalf declaration of going up the mountain.

Serenity sighed heavily having heard this and knew that it would be a very cold journey up the mountain for the young hobbits. Serenity turn to Amarie as they made eye contact as a secret agreement came between the two with no words needing to be spoken to the other. Taking another deep breath wondering if the weather would be on their side as they made their way up the mountain, she hoped it would be for the hobbits would not be able to stand the cold for long.

~*~

After the sighting of the birds and hasting hiding from the birds' sight Gandalf had insisted that they move on with their journey at once not wasting time to wait any longer. The fellowship assembled hastily, as they made sure to gather their things for their journey and moved up towards the mountain where it would b cold no doubt. As the fellowship had made their way over the mountain.

Serenity's hope for the weather to be their side had not come and a fierce snow storm had come about on them as they made their way on the edge of the mountain. The snow had hastily accumulated onto the ground and made it very hard to walk in seeing that it was up to the men's chest, while the hobbits could not walk in such deep snow they were forced to be carried by the others. Aragorn had taken hold of Frodo, while Boromir had taken Merry, while Serenity had Pippin on her back and Amarie who was having no trouble with walking on the snow thanks to her Elvin grace had Sam on her back as well. The line of Fellowship with thus Legolas, Gandalf, Glimi, Aragorn and Frodo, Boromir and Merry, Serenity and Pippin, Amarie and Sam.

The elf from Mirkwood was in the lead for he had not trouble walking on top of the snow. Using his grace and his keen eyes to see ahead of them for Gandalf since elves had better vision then others did. While Amarie was in the back of the group to make sure not to lose anyone. As Amaire had the young hobbit on her back to carry she could feel him shivering from the cold storm as it blew snow everywhere making it very hard for even the two elves to see. The wind was howling, blowing snow all around them, the air was so cold it made your bones chill. Amarie tried her best to keep the young hobbit close to her back to help keep him warm but knew if they did not get out of this storm the hobbits would not make it.

Serenity would was in front of Amarie was thinking along those same terms and wonder how they were going to make it through such a harsh storm. The blond woman sighed heavily and asked Pippin how he was doing. Poor Pippin said he was all right even though when he spoke his teeth chattered for he was so cold.

'This is not good for if we don't get out of this cold weather soon these little hobbits won't be with us and I'm not about to let that happen.' Serenity thought but she did not get to think any further for Legolas had spoken up.

"There is a voice in the air but who's I do not know, where it comes from." He yelled to Gandalf over the howling wind. Gandalf spot his slow moving through the snow to listen as well. The fellowship stopped his trenchers walk through the deep snow as they listened for a voice. They heard it once more, deep as it said words they did not know except for the gray wizard ahead of them.

"It is Saruman!" He hollered back to everyone and just as he did a great bolt of lighting struck the top of the mountain. Then suddenly a great roaring noise came as a huge blanket of snow came down towards the group.

"Look out!" Aragorn screamed out to the others even though there was no safe haven for them to go to get of the way of the snow the fell towards them. Serenity eyes widening in shocked, whipped around as fast as she could to Amarie. They both nodded at one anther in agreement that it was now or never to help out like they said they would if needs be even if it meant revealing a few things.

"Amarie now!" Serenity yelled for it. Amarie nodded her eyes holding determination in them. She suddenly began to glow purple around her body as the sign of Saturn appeared on her light skin forehead. The dark hair raven elf put her hands in the air quickly and yelled out her command attack. Sam who was on Amarie's back watched on from his position with confusion and fear in his eyes on what would happen to them thinking the worst and unknown what Serenity and Amarie were speaking about.

"Saturn Wall!" Then suddenly just in time a purple doom appeared around the fellowship to keep them safe from the snow. Just as it appeared the snow hit the dark purple barrier and went around it falling on the outside keeping the people inside of it safe from the sudden attack from the white wizard.

Serenity smile as she was relived to see that Amarie's power helped in the nick of time. The others in the fellowship who stood shocked and in awe at the sudden appearance of the barrier and seeing the snow fall around them and not on them. Even Gandalf stood still in surprise at the protective barrier the had saved them.

But before they even had a chance to see who had used such magics to aide them a loud crack earned their attention and all eyes were once again averted to look up at the sky. There they found another pack of the snow heading straight for them once again. Serenity seeing this and worried that Amarie might let the barrier down had to warn her.

"Amarie do not let the barrier fall!" Serenity shouted to her hastily as she looked over to her friend. Serenity saw Amarie nodded her head keeping her same position. Her hands in the air above her head, a light glow around her body, the Saturn mark glowing purple on her forehead, and her eyes closed in concentration.

The others watched as the white blanket of snow hit the purple barrier around them and not go through it. As the snow hit the barrier it went a lighter purple but did not let it grow through it. The fellowship was amazed to see such a thing except for Amarie and Serenity. Once the snow was gone the others turn to see who had used such magics to help them to find Amarie was the one helping them and to be responsible for the barrier to appear. They were shocked to see the elf have such powers.

Serenity ignoring the looks Amarie was receiving as she used her powers of Saturn turn to Gandalf right away. She knew that Lord Sauron might now find out about Serenity's presence being in Middle Earth and hoped he would not find who she was and how much power she truly had but for now she would have to dwell on such matters later for the hobbits lives were in danger.

"Gandalf we must turn back. The hobbits will not be able to go much further in such fierce coldness." She yelled to him in a serious tone. Gandalf taking his eyes of the elf maiden turn to the others.

"I'm afraid she is right Gandalf. We must chose another path." Aragorn agreed with his sister as well even though he wished to move on, he knew deep down they could not for fear the hobbits would die.

"No, we must move on." Gandlaf insisted even though he knew they were right looking at the others before him.

"Gandalf we must chose another path." Serenity insisted on her voice holding no argument in the matter.

"Why don't we take the roads to Rohan where it leads to my city." Boromir voiced out, insisted on going to his city.

"But those roads lead to close to Saruman!" Amarie yelled out as she listen to the others while keeping her concentration of the barrier up.

"She is right!" Serenity yelled in agreeing with her friend while shaking her head in disagreement in the path.

"Well, if we can not go over the mountain then lets go under. Lets go to through Mines of Moria." Glimi suggested as well looking at the others.

"Let the Ring Barer chose then." Gandalf finally stated out loud looking at Frodo for the answer. Frodo look at Gandalf startled for a second at seeing his old friend speak such things. He look at the others unsure on what to say but he knew he had to make a choice for this was his journey so he made up his mind. While the others stood in silence patiently waiting for his answer.

"We shall go through the Mines of Moria." He replied to them all his cold hand holding on to the one ring to make sure as not to lose it in the storm. Gandalf nodded his head.

"Then that is where we shall go." He replied in a hollow voice.
