Another night, another fight club, Elena continues to go to separate fight clubs for a week and once she has earned enough for what she has in mind, she flees Mystic Falls, but she was not alone, all this time, Kol had been her partner in crime, Kol found out that he actually enjoyed her company and especially when he noticed it himself that compulsion doesn't affect Elena anymore, she became all the more attractive to him. Elena had revealed her plans to him just last night and he decided to accompany her, not to help her but just for the reason that he had started to enjoy her company.

Elijah and Rebekah on the other hand, were discussing how Elena was suddenly cloaked and they couldn't track her with these locator spells and the thing that was the most important to discuss was, how did Elena become so strong. Elijah was intuited that the Elixir had something to do with it but the witches confirmed it that it wasn't, so what was it, that was giving her so much strength, no human can match an original's strength and here she was, beating up Klaus twice.

The red open car stops in front of a café cum bar and the lady driver steps out of it and heaves. the man on the passenger seat follows suit and in a second speeds to stand next to her, "So, why did you stop."

"Why do you ask, you're here because you like my company right, so," she puts her hand in the crook of his arm and says, "Now play my company, act as my boyfriend whatever, I am here to meet someone, there is some information I need."

Kol smirks, "Oh can I kill someone" she turns to him but before she could say anything he says, "Oh I am not asking you permission, I am just telling you this that if I get hungry or I don't like the ambience, this meeting could turn into a blood bath, so you still want me to play your boyfriend" he asks raising an eyebrow.

"Oh Kol" she smirks, "That's exactly why I brought you here for, these are all killers and I don't mind at all if they're dessert to you, the only thing that I mind is getting the information, once I get the information out of them, you can do to them whatever you want." Kol smirks and they both walk inside like a couple

While all were busy, Klaus was here, back in Mystic Falls, he was suffering an inner conflict, he loved Caroline deeply but then she died and he believed Elena to be responsible for it and he hated her and that encounter in the alley, post that he is fighting with himself, his mind and body are not able to find the right course of action, he doesn't know if he still hates her or does he hate himself for hurting her.

He was not able to understand what he must do and what he must not so he found himself, sitting on Elena's bed in her house, yes, Elena had invited him in, back when she had decided that she wanted to punish herself and Klaus wanted the same thing. But, now, here Klaus was, sitting on her bed, reading her journals, trying to find the answers which he nowhere could, she writes…

Dear Diary,

It has been an year today for me for a Klaus free life. Bonnie had made this amazing bracelet for me, I am invisible to Klaus and his minions, while to my friends I am still here. I had to leave Mystic Falls, lest the word would be out to Klaus that I am alive, and the same cycle would begin.

A few pages (a month later)

Oh my God, I didn't know that Caroline had feelings for me too, which is why she always got jealous when I used to spend more time with Bonnie, she finally confessed, we're beginning a new relationship today.

A few pages later

Today, a strange man met us, he showed us that he was a warlock, that's unusual, no, a man being a warlock, not that, the thing that a warlock walks to us, to humans, a human and a vampire and suddenly reveals to us that he is a warlock, either he wants something, or he is trapping us.

Though Caroline found him to be cute but I sense something fishy, he doesn't seem right. I don't get good vibes from him, I feel like, something bad is going to happen and he might be the one bringing the bad news.

A few pages later,

My intention was right, today I saw him experimenting on a vampire with magic, Caroline is not here these days, she went back to Mystic Falls to take care of her mother once she learnt she broke her leg, once Caroline comes back I will reveal to her that this man is not good."

Klaus turns the pages but the pages are torn.

In a café cum bar, Elena and Kol walk in, Elena clears her throat, "A table for two please" she catches everyone's attention, a waiter guides her to the said table. Kol keeps a hand under his chin and murmurs so that only Elena could hear, "Mmm, Elena, why is everyone in the bar staring at you."

Elena, while looking at the menu, says, "Well, they're surprised for my audacity as to why I came here." Elena orders the costliest dish in the menu, she puts the menu down and says, "Correction, they're surprised at my audacity," Her eyes twinkle like Katherine's

Kol was just speculating the meaning of her words in her head when a blade comes flying towards her head and she while making constant eye contact with him, stops the blade by catching the blade with her middle finger and index finger.

"Oh come, I have ordered your favorite dish here."

Kol turns and looks at the direction from which the blade came. "Are you a fool, why did you come back here?" the man says.

Elena turns to him, "I came here for some information, give it to me and I will leave."

"Are you a fool Elena" the man approaches them, "It is not safe for me or anyone here to talk to you or to entertain you."

"You serve your purpose, and you can leave, and you have very well cleared this to all that you're not here as my friend" she says holding his blade in her hand, "So, why don't you tell me what I want to know and then I'll leave."

Elena takes out a picture.

Klaus, on the other hand, finds a picture of Elena, Caroline, and a man (same man Elena showed in the above picture) he takes the pic, keeps it in his pocket, he puts her journal back where she keeps them and heads back to his SUV.
