Chapter 1: adopted by two sour lesbians
AN:
hello everyone I wish to introduce to my new story after the success of the dipper x reagan fanfic I would like to try this. A new type of story based on the epithet academy by exotos135 (give it a read after you read this chapter.) this is an loud house x epithet erased x owl house fanfic in the epithet erased universe. This first arc is gonna be seven chapters to set up stuff then I plan to do some chapters that is just r&r before I make another arc. Also some characters will be OOC for story purposes (the most prominent will be one of lincolns new moms) also I rolled randomly for each character introduced's epithet save for mera, indus, and Odalia (because I have a specific one for her in mind which kinda fits.) so if you think an epithet doesn't fit then it is because I followed the rules of the rpg from jello himself and rolled three random words and chose the one I could best work with… also I would like to ask you… who should lincoln date because I plan to have either harem scenario with girls his age or a single girl: the girls you have a choice from or would be in the harem are: Luz, lorelai blyndef, Boscha, Willow, Young percy (aged down to age 13), Maggie, and/or Molly blyndeff I'll have a poll made up by the time this story is up and will annouce the winner when the seven chapters are up.
The sound of crying children, though not an unfamiliar thing to hear in an orphanage, was no less unseattling.
The many children in the room averted their gaze from the new arrivals. All a family forced into an orphanage due to both the unconventional size of the family and the fact that the children each had an epithet where as their parents were mundies.
The ones crying where the three younger ones, the baby being inside the nursery and the one with glasses being eerily calm.
The five olders ones were trying their best to calm them down, though save for the second oldest they were also upset.
The only one who seemed uaffected and normal was the middle child, the only boy in the group who unlike his sisters had hair of white instead of blonde or burnette… his orange polo and white pants made him stick out the most of the group.
"it's gonna be okay guys. I promise you."
"B-b-but, what, if, they don't, adopt all of us." one of the twins a girl in overalls snorted.
"chances are quite high that none of us will be adopted in pairs bigger then two… I believe we will be seperated… well, those of us young enough to attract potential parents." the youngest there said fiddling with her glasses.
The boy groaned, "thank you lisa."
"Lincoln's right," the oldest said, she had an air of dominance and she seemed to be the leader of the group. "we have to be strong."
"But I don't want to be seperated from you guys… we're a family." the other twin said, she dressed in a pink pageant dress though her mascara was running from her tears.
One o the others stood in the corner and began punching the walls.
The oldest turned their head toward her. "Lynn, stop that. It's not gonna solve anything."
"It's not fair." Lynn replied, her voice a low growl.
"Life's not fair, dude," the girl in purple said shaking her head while she sat down on her mattress and strumed her guitar.
"look on the bright side, at least we'll have each other while we wait for mom and pop to come get us." the second oldest said with a dim smile on her face.
The youngest was about to say something but one look at the shaking head of the older siblings silenced her.
A Girl dressed in black dress, a younger sibling sat in the corner staying silent.
"guys, we'll get through this… because they're always tommorrow… it's only a day away." the fourth oldest said she dressed in a yellow and black skirt and a white blouse. Though they knew that she too was worried.
"children." the headmaster called, he was an older gentleman dressed in a black coat with white undershirt and black pants… he kinda looked like a secret agent which fit his epithet… espionage… most of the children found it weird he was a headmaster in an orphanage in sweet jazz city which had the biggest orphanage in the state. But apparently the man was quite old and he had retired from service in the FBI in order to leave a peaceful life. "I want you all lined up in the common area, we have a family looking for potential adoptions. I suggest you change into some nice clothes and be on your best behavior."
the children began shuffling to get their best clean clothes on. Lincoln did the same and was about to help his younger siblings but they all sat down on their beds. "guys, come on… we have to give the family a chance."
"Older sibling unit, you must understand the chance that any of us getting adopted is quite abysmal… the drawback of coming from a large family. They would not want to qoute, unqoute, seperate us, so I'm afraid it would be a wasted effort." the younger girl said walking toward the common room.
The other younger ones followed her. The older ones were doing their best to get ready and once they were all done lincoln went with them.
"what if they pick one of us?" the fourth oldest asked, her voice trembling.
"we'll just respectfully refuse." Luna replied, "we can't leave our younger sibs alone while we live the good life."
"yeah, fuck getting adopted, all we need is each other." the third oldest said, cracking her knuckles.
"adopted, that's silly. Mom and dad are coming back soon." The second oldest said, no break in her face made it clear she believed what she said.
"Enough! All of you…" The first oldest said as they exit the younger childrens room. Going through the hall. "if they want to adopt one of us, we go with them… period."
"B-But lori…"
"No buts! You shouldn't martyr yourself just because the rest of us have to stay here. We'll be able to stay in contact after we are adopted and if one of us gets adopted then they can recommend potentials to adopt the rest of us… so if they say they want one of you or our younger siblings then none of you can guilt trip them into staying… clear." lori's eyes bore into each of the older siblings and lincoln nodded his head.
"Lincoln, I want to thank you for your help in calming the younger ones. I hope they adopt you first." Lori said, rustling lincoln's hair.
"why me?" Lincoln couldn't help but be offended by her words.
"Because, you're the man with the plan. If any of us has the best chances of helping the others in the getting the best adoption plan.. it's you." lori's voice was weak but firm… she tried to sound like the big sister.
The siblings entered the common area and joined the line of youngest to oldest. This family had said they weren't interested in babies so they would not be directed to the nursery… which meant that lily was already out.
"Children, I present you… misses odalia blight of the wealthy blight family and her wife mera blight-salamin and her bodyguard indus tarbella who are both epithet coaches in sweet jazz cities Epithet high school."
the children each gave a chorus of greetings as the three adults entered. The first to enter was a many with sandy brown skin on his muscular body. He had white hair similar to lincolns In style and tattoos covering his torso.
"Lady mera, I believe this is the perfect orphanage for adoption. Their is a fine selection of children here and at least half of them have epithets." he said in a loud boisterous voice flexing his muscles which houng tightly in his turtle neck sweater.
The next was woman in a white sweater with blue pants. She had bluish grey skin and a sour frown which could curdle milk. She looked over the children for quick second and rolled her eyes. "I think this is a huge waste of time."
She walked forward and grazed her foot in the doorway then yelped in pain. "My toe! Stupid door." she mumbled but was instantly grabbed from behind by a woman with green hair, pale skin, and purple eyes. She had purple lipstick on and a white vest with purple roses on it, her purple pants hung tightly and she seemed to have junk in the trunk.
Lincoln felt lynn lean over and whisper. "Look at that ladies huge butt. I'd hate to ask her for baby sitting."
Luan chuckled at that.
"Oh mera, you've hurt your toe, so clumsy… I'll kiss it and make it better… after I get what I want." she said seductively.
"I still don't see why you wouldn't be happy with a dog." mera argued, stamping her hurt foot.
Odalia pouted then gave her wife big puppy dog eyes. "you promised, you'd try and help make me happy."
mera and sighed then waved her hand over to the kids. "take your pick and they're yours."
odalia nodded her head and extended her arm. "after you dear."
Mera started walking down the line and looking at the kids. Inspecting them like they were prisoners of war. She went down the line until she got to lincoln and stopped. She looked him over and then into his eyes.
"Indus, what do you think about this one?" she asked as her bodyguard followed her. He stood In front of lincoln and then met his eye.
"My assessment lady mera is this: he's more of a thinker then fighter, like you, but he is also kind and considerate. He's also quite the strategist and always has at least the inclinations of a plan, he does seem adept at deceit but has a good heart… in fact I dare say if we were to have a child… this would be the most likely outcome." indus said in a strangely astute voice.
Mera blushed meanwhile odalia glared at him.
"What's your name little man?" mera finally asked, her face still bearing the blue blush.
"Lincoln Loud, ma'am." he said in a respectful tone.
Mera smiled at that then whistled to odalia. "what do you think of this one Mama bear."
"Ooo, he is so cute… and if your bodyguard, is at all accurate he'd be a perfect addition to the family…" Odalia was wearing a big smile when looking at lincoln.
"So it's seattled, we are adopting this one."
Lynn clenched her fists and was about to charge the older women when she someone grasp her hand. Holding her hand tight was luan who turned her head to the girl next to her… luna, who held hands with her and leni, who finished the chain by holding hands with lori, who was glaring at lynn and made her back down.
"Come along lincoln, let's go home." odalai said lighting the 11 year old like he was a sack of flower and then heading into the headmasters office to sign paper work.
Lincoln looked back at his sisters and they all waved goodbye with a solemn expression. None of them looked happy to see him go. Though lori had a forced smile on her face and leni just looked confused… lincoln knew this was goodbye… not forever… but for a long time.
