Skylar: Hola chicos y chicas! I'm back and I have a new chapter here for you all. I think you guys will like this cute little scene. I enjoyed this, at least in my opinion. So, as I said before, Sing characters doesn't belong to me. Only my OC's and plot. Enjoy the story!

Johnny and Irene were weaving through the crowds and arrived at the movies. Irene said, "What's the time? I hope we aren't too late." She looked around then saw Matthew inside the building. He waved and gestured to his kids to come in.

Irene smiled and grabbed Johnny's hand. "Guess we are on time." She said with a chuckle. Johnny looked up and saw his dad and smiled. They both walked in and met up with Matthew. He chuckled. "I'm assuming that this morning you had fun?"

"You could say that." Johnny replied, giving Irene a side hug. Irene smiled. "Well, not just us. Everyone in the group back at the theater did. We had a little dance party." She said, while dancing a bit to the music still stuck to her head. "And you should have seen Johnny dancing with Ash! He was awesome!"

"Ash? You mean the porcupine who sung with Clay Calloway?" Matthew asked.

Irene nodded with a smile, while Johnny froze. He didn't know why but he suddenly felt embarrassed when Irene brought it up to his dad. He felt a sense of heat rising on his face.

"Is she his girlfriend?" Matthew asked. And right at that moment, Johnny wished that the earth and the floor would swallow him whole. Irene noticed and tried not to laugh at his reaction, his face turning a beet red. After regaining her composure, she immediately said, "No. Um, Ash is just a friend and Johnny's just not exactly looking for anyone at the moment so…" She chuckled nervously. "How about we just look for a movie to watch huh?"

Irene left and started to look through movies, Matthew following her, not wanting her to go alone. Johnny released the breath he was holding and followed them. They managed to pick a funny adventure movie with Dwayne the "Rhino" Johnson and Kevin Hart, a brown bunny comedian actor. After they watched and laughed, they went for ice cream. While they were on their way and got their ice creams from the ice cream parlor, Matthew and Johnny learned more about Irene.

"So, what we've known about you so far is: You like to play hand drums and regular drums, you don't dance well to other types of music except Latin American, your 16 and you like to watch shows that are a total complete different language." Johnny said and scooped a spoonful of rocky road ice cream into his mouth.

Irene laughed. "Yeah, I can't help it. By the way you put it, I think it might be torcher some for you Johnny." She said teasingly, pointing her straw at Johnny.

"Hey, I keep an open mind!" He teased back. Irene rolled her eyes then drank some of her chocolate peanut butter milkshake.

"Is there anything else we need to know?" Matthew asked, while eating vanilla ice cream.

Irene nodded. "I like to cook and bake, crochet, draw, read and listen to Audiobooks. Preferably from hallmark about romance. But I also like to go on biking trails, and hike. Oh, and play soccer along with basketball." She added, then sipped her milkshake. She spilled a little and noticed the mess. "Oh no! I'll be right back!" She said, then stood up. Matthew and Johnny nodded, then they turned to face each other and chat.

She turned to go get some napkins when she suddenly saw Ash ordering ice cream. She smiled and called out, "Hey Ash!" then left the table to see Ash.

Ash turned to see Irene walking to her. Normally she would have trouble trusting people, but with Irene, she couldn't help but smile. "Hey Irene! What are you doing here?" She asked, gesturing to the ice cream place.

She explained. "I'm here with Johnny and my new dad. We went to the movies and then we came here for ice cream."

"Oh, that makes sense." She said understanding now.

"What about you? What are you doing here?" Irene asked.

"Oh, I just felt the mood for ice cream. So, I came here 'cause it was the closest ice cream parlor from Moon's theater." Ash explained.

"Well, that's cool." She emphasized cool as a joke because they were in an ice cream place where it was cold.

Ash rolled her eyes. "Ha ha. Funny."

Irene shrugged sheepishly while giggling. "Sorry, couldn't help it. Anyways, I gotta go. Dad and Johnny might be wondering where I am." She stopped thinking over something. "Wanna see them and meet Dad?" She said gesturing to her table, where Johnny and Matthew were still talking.

Ash looked over and saw Johnny talking to his dad, who looked a lot like him, only older and buffer. "Sure. Just let me get my ice cream, and I'll be right there." Irene nodded then grabbed a few napkins and went back to the table. Johnny and Matthew noticed her arrival and how she seemed a little cheerer and excited.

"Hey sis, what is it?" Johnny asked, raising an eyebrow while smiling.

"You won't believe this," Irene said excitedly, while cleaning her mess. "But Ash's here! She's coming here, she just needed to wait for her ice cream."

Right at that moment, Ash walked to their table holding a dark chocolate ice cream. "Hey guys!"

"Hey!" Irene pulled a chair for Ash to sit and sat back at her own chair.

Ash got on the seat, but since the chair was a bit taller than her, it took a moment, yet she managed to get on it. She started to eat her ice cream while Irene said, "Ash, this is Johnny's dad and my dad Matthew. Dad, meet Ash." She gestured to each other.

"Well, it's nice to meet you." Matthew said and extended a handout. Ash took his hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Egerton."

He waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, no need for the Mr., Ash. Just Matthew." He spoke.

Ash corrected herself. "Well then nice to meet you, Matthew."

She turned to see Johnny. "And nice to see you again, Johnny."

Johnny had a red face and just stared at her like she was another different being.

"Johnny?" Ash said, waving a hand in front of his face.

Irene nudged his leg a little and it didn't snap him out of it. He continued to stay still. "Johnny." Irene said through her teeth. "Snap out of it!" What seemed like eternity to Johnny, Irene rolled her eyes and kicked his leg hard, in which did the trick.

"Ow!" He said, then rubbed his knee. "Irene!"

"Sorry! It's just you lost us there for a sec." Irene said, showing a bit of concernment.

"W-What?" He said, confused over what happened moments ago.

Irene shook her head. "Never mind."

"So, Ash, are you a rockstar of any kind?" Matthew asked. "No, but I was a few times. I perform in a café." Ash said, then took another bite of her ice cream.

"Well, that's nice." He replied.

Irene asked, "Hey Ash, do you by any chance wanna play a song together? If you want, that is."

Ash nodded. "Yeah sure. Maybe I can give you a few tips on drumming." Irene chuckled. "Thanks. And I'm sure I'll be needing those tips. I haven't played in 5 months."

Ash laughed and they all continued to chat over their ice cream, including Johnny who figured out that Matthew and Irene weren't going to bring up about the little dance party incident. Which was a relief, because he didn't really want that brought up around when Ash was literally 6 inches across from him. Soon they finished and were getting ready to go.

"Well, we better get going." Matthew said. "Time flies when ya chat."

"Me too. I have to go shop for some things." Ash said.

"So, when do you want to practice Ash?" Irene asked.

Ash thought for a moment. "Probably… Thursday."

Irene nodded. "Great! At Moon's theater?"

"You got it!" Ash said with a thumbs up.

"Awesome!" She then hugged Ash but forgot that she got quills on her back. "Ouch!" She pulled back and saw three quills on one arm.

"Oh no! Sorry, I should've told you, my quills can prick you." She said then started to pluck the quills. But Irene didn't even flitch when she pulled.

"Oh wait! My fur! It's not letting the quills dig into my skin!" Irene exclaimed then slapped her forehead. "Can't believe I didn't notice! I am so sorry Ash for making you worry!"

"Oh, that's okay. Anyone could have made that mistake." Ash said.

"Well, now that that's out of the way, we've got to get going." Matthew said.

"Y-Yeah, what he said." Johnny said, while avoiding looking at Ash.

Irene looked at him quizzically then shrugged. She'd find out later to why Johnny was acting weird suddenly.

Ash looked at the clock back at the ice cream parlor then gasped. "Gotta go! Bye!" And with that she dashed, leaving a confused Irene, Johnny, and Matthew.

"Anyone have any idea to why Ash suddenly left like that?" Irene asked.

"Not the slightest." Matthew said. He turned to Irene. "Irene, we're going to our garage in the morning for work. If you'd like, you can come with me and Johnny."

Irene nodded. "Sure. I kinda want to learn on how to fix a car."

"Nice! And I can show you how to skateboard." Johnny said.

Irene smiled on the offer. "Thanks, but I'll pass. I prefer rollerblades or skates. No offense."

"None taken." He spoke. With that, they all left to head back home.

With Ash…

Ash was running at full speed with her groceries. She was hoping she would make it back to her apartment before he arrived. She took out her keys and quickly inserted it in her lock. She unlocked her door and ran inside, slamming it behind her. She quickly locked the door then sighed in relief.

Well… I made it. She thought tiredly then went to the kitchen to put her groceries away. She then headed to her bathroom and took a bath. Mmm… this is nice. I just wish it was like this every night. She thought with a relaxing smile. 30 minutes later, she finished with her bath, and she changed into an oversized t-shirt and short pajama pants that showed her legs. After that, she climbed on her bed and snuggled into the blanket. As she shut her eyes, there came a huge banging on her door.

"ASH PLEASE! PLEASE BABE CAN YOU JUST GIVE ME A CHANCE?" The muffled voice said. The person who was banging on her door for the past 6 months was Lance, Ash's ex-boyfriend.

Ash groaned and covered her face with another pillow. Every night… why? She sighed, knowing that it's going to be yet ANOTHER long night. She pulled out headphones from her nightstand and put them on her ears. She grabbed her phone and put her mix of music to help her sleep. And within minutes, she was fast asleep.

Skylar: Well, I enjoyed that! A blushing Johnny wanting to die from embarrassment. *Mischievous giggle* And Matthew really wants Johnny to have a girl. But the fact that Lance wants to be with Ash again disgusts me. Ugh! The reason why? Not sure... At least for you my beautiful readers. But don't worry, you'll see soon!
