Skylar: Hola chicos! Hope you are having an awesome morning/afternoon/evening depending on where you are. I have an exciting announcement! When I checked the number of views yesterday, it was 236, and now it's 567 views! Thank you so much for the support! So, as a thank you gift to you guys, I'll write two chapters and released them both on the same day! It will either be this week or next week, then I'll go back to my schedule where I try to upload one chapter every day. Thank you for all the support and reviews! Keep it up! As for the disclaimer, "Sing" characters don't belong to me, only my OC's and plot. Enjoy, and thank you!

Irene, Ash, and Johnny were in Johnny's truck, driving at full speed and heading to Ash's apartment. They reached to Ash's apartment and Johnny hit the brakes. They perfectly stopped at Ash's front door.

"We're here!" Johnny said and switched the gears to park. Ash jumped out and ran to the front door. She called over her shoulder, "Thanks! I'll be right back!" and entered into the apartment complex.

Irene tapped her leg nervously and glanced at the radio clock. It read 10:25 AM. "Okay… just 35 more minutes… No pressure." She nervously said, while fidgeting with her fingers.

Johnny repeated with a confused and suspicious look, "Wait what? 35 more minutes?"

Irene nodded. "Yeah. Mr. Moon wanted us at the theater at 11 AM sharp."

Johnny stared at her for a moment, as if she was another being, then yelled, "WHAT!?" Irene's eyes widen and she gave a sheepish smile. "Well, I wanted us to be on time. And we don't know how long Ash will take to get herself ready." She pointed out.

Johnny stuttered for a few minutes in disbelief then he put his hands to his face and dragged it down. He groaned. "Seriously Irene?! You gave us a panic attack and made us rush out of the door and I find out from you that we're supposed to be at the theater, at 11 AM!"

Irene gave a sheepish shrug with an apologetic smile. "Sorry." They waited for 20 minutes, then they heard the door open. "Alright, I'm all freshened up! Let's head to Moon's theater." Ash said and tried to open the door, but she was too short to reach it. "I got it!" Irene said and opened the door for her.

"Thanks!" Ash said breathlessly and climbed in. Irene took one look at Ash, and she gave a smile. "Ooh, girl I like that outfit!" She said, gesturing to Ash's outfit.

Johnny glanced sideways and he froze. Ash was wearing a long black sleeve shirt with a red shirt on top of it and a bright red leather jacket, with a black and red checkered skirt along with black jeans and red sneakers. She had dark brown eyeshadow that made her eyes pop and black lipstick. He felt himself not breathing and his heart was racing.

Ash smiled and gave a one-sided shrug. "Thanks. I just pulled an outfit together."

Irene turned to Johnny and noticed him staring at Ash. "Johnny." She whispered. He didn't move and Irene sighed. "Not again…" She groaned, then honked the horn. Johnny jumped. "Gah!" He clutched his shirt, then glared at Irene. "IRENE!" He exclaimed, irritated with what Irene did. Irene glared back. "Well, I did it for a good reason!" She said with sass.

Ash sighed and looked at the clock. It read, 10:45 AM. "Guys, we're gonna be late! So, stop arguing, and Johnny, start driving!" She said with urgency and annoyance.

Irene and Johnny gave an apologetic look. "Sorry, Ash." They said with an apologetic smile. Johnny switched gears and turned the truck around in a U-turn. 10 minutes later, they arrived at the theater. They looked up to see the squids waving at them. They waved back, and then ran into the theater. They burst through the doors and ran to the stage. Everyone else was at the theater, waiting for the last to arrive.

"We're here!" They called out and they stopped running. Irene panted, "Sorry… we're late… we lost the… track of time…"

Buster looked at them. "Oh, that's okay. I'm just surprised with your sudden entrance." Both Johnny and Ash looked at Irene with a glare saying, 'We're-gonna-kill-you-for-making-us-rush.' Irene swallowed nervously and took a few steps back. She gave a nervous smile. "Heh heh… Sorry."

"Now that everyone's here, I have an announcement. We're going to do another competition here. Only this time it's different!" He announced, excitement filling his voice.

Irene, Porsha, and Nooshy raised one of theirs, in suspicion. "This competition is a… drum roll please…" He drummed his feet for dramatic effects, then said happily, "A singing and dancing competition!" Everyone started to murmur in excitement. Irene's eyes lit up. "Wow! That's cool!" She said happily.

"But!" He raised a finger and everyone's murmurs quieted. "In this competition you need a partner. It could be two to three people in the max."

Nooshy's eyes widen in excitement. "Talk about a twist!" She whispered.

Buster looked at Irene and Nooshy with a hopeful look. "Irene, Nooshy, can I ask you if you would like to be a part of the competition?" Irene's eyes widen in shock. "What?" She squeaked. Nooshy and Irene looked at each other then back at Buster.

"Really? I mean I can sing, but dancing… it isn't my strength." Irene said, fidgeting with her fingers.

Nooshy said, "I have to agree. I can dance, but singing isn't my strength."

Porsha piped up, "What if Irene, Nooshy and me work together? Besides, me and Irene wanted to learn to dance from Nooshy." Irene suddenly remembered their conversation when the girls first met and got to know Irene. She slowly nodded and started to smile. "Yeah. I did, and maybe we can teach Nooshy to sing! I mean, how hard can that be?"

Irene and Porsha looked at Nooshy with a hopeful look. Nooshy wanted to say no because she only danced in small crowds. But one look at Irene, and she didn't have the guts to say no. Nooshy slowly nodded. "O-Okay."

Buster beamed widely. "Excellent!" He jotted on his clipboard how Irene, Nooshy and Porsha were a group and after he did that, he turned to face everyone in the group. "Now, you can pair up with anyone in the group or out of the group. And in two days, you tell me or Miss Crawly who your paired with."

Everyone nodded, and at that moment, they heard the doors open. Everyone looked outside to see Nana and Eddie entering the theater. Irene, Clay, Nooshy, and Porsha were the only ones who didn't know Nana, and once Irene took a glance at Nana, she immediately became frightened. She slowly walked to Johnny. "Um… Johnny? Who's that?" She whispered.

Johnny looked at Nana then back at Irene. "That's Nana. She helped Mr. Moon get his theater back after an incident destroyed it." Irene nodded in understanding, but she hid a little behind Johnny. Johnny noticed and asked in concernment, "Have you heard of her? You seem a bit scared of her."

"No. But she just looks a little… strict, I might say." She said in a low tone. Nana went on stage and faced Buster. "Buster, I see you are with your friends." She said.

"Ah, yes Nana! I was just telling my employees that there is a new competition. We are going to have a singing and dancing competition! And I have a group of three people who are already joining in. This is Porsha," He pointed to Porsha, and without a hesitation, she said, "Hey!"

He pointed to Nooshy, while saying her name, "Nooshy…" She gave a wave, not wanting to disrespect a seemingly angry old woman.

"And…" He paused, looking around. "Irene?" He called. Irene drew a shaky breath, nervously walking out, revealing herself. She gave a timid wave. "Hello." She said with a nervous smile.

Nana walked to her and observed her. "Irene, is it?" She asked with an eyebrow raised. Irene nodded, nervously waiting for whatever Nana will do. "How old are you?" She asked. Irene started to relax a little. "I'm 16, ma'am." She answered. "And your parents? Who are they?" Irene froze, and she slowly lowered her head. "U-Um…" Irene didn't want to lie, but she didn't want to bring up her story about her biological parents. With the accident that happened 5 months ago, she didn't want to tell it to everyone and cry in front of them.

Instead, she decided to talk about her adoptive family. At least it's better than to lie in front of a very strict and powerful looking woman. She said, "My dad, Matthew, and my brother, Johnny." Nana raised an eyebrow. "Johnny?" She shifted her gaze to Johnny, in which he nodded in confirmation. Nana's eyes widen slightly, realizing that Irene was adopted, due to her and Johnny being different species, and how something happened to Irene's family. She looked at her in sympathy. "I see. Well, would you like to come to my place later this afternoon? I would like for you to join me for an activity."

Irene had a surprised look and turned to Johnny. She said with hesitance, "W-Well, I'll have to ask dad, but we'll see."

Nana thought for a moment, then spoke. "How about this? I'll take you and Johnny back to your place to converse with your father. If he agrees, then after that, I'll take you to my home."

Irene and Johnny glanced at each other, then nodded their heads in agreement to Nana, with small smiles. "Sounds perfect." Johnny said. Nana gently smiled. "Excellent. Then I'll take you both back to your home after this session."

Nana turned to sit on the balcony and noticed Clay. "And who are you?" She asked, her eyes having an odd sparkle along with a smile.

Clay smiled back and extended a hand. "My name is Clay Calloway. And you are?"

Nana took his hand. "Nana Noodleman. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Everyone else stared at the odd duo. Irene thought that although they were different species, they were similar in a way. She also though that they were cute in a way. Mike whispered, "That's weird chemistry." Irene, Ash, Nooshy, Meena, Porsha, and Meena glared at Mike. Seeing their glares, he slowly backed away. Irene sighed. "Is he always like that?" Nooshy asked.

Rosita heaved a sigh. "Unfortunately."

Gunter walked to Rosita in a dramatic way. "Rosita, are we still partners? Because I don't think I'll do good without my best friend and dance partner." He said, bumping his hips with Rosita's hips. She chuckled and said, "How could I say no? We're partners, and nothing's gonna change."

Buster chuckled and wrote Rosita and Gunter as dance partners. "Alright, we have another pair of contestants. Excellent! But remember, for those who don't have a partner yet, you have two days to find a dance partner!"

Everyone nodded and Nooshy clasped her hands. "Porsha, Irene, you want to learn how to dance first, or do you want to teach me how to sing?" Irene put a finger under her chin, thinking over the two options. Porsha piped up, "Well, what do you feel more comfortable with, Nooshy?"

Nooshy didn't want to sing just yet, so she decided to go with… "I'm feeling more into dancing for now." Irene smiled. "Alright then, dancing it is." They went backstage to the practice rooms, and they found a spacious room.

Nooshy cracked her joints and she spoke. "Alright, hope you're ready, because dance lessons start now!"

Skylar: Haha, well that's the first sibling argument that Irene and Johnny had. And it's pretty funny, to say the least, over the fact that Johnny was staring at Ash and Irene scared him with the horn. Also, the fact that Clay and Nana may have a little interest in each other, well… Others do say "love takes in unexpected places." Oh, well. I'll see you guys in the next chapter! Adios, readers! And thank you for all the support!
