AN: Thank you all the two people for answering to my Author's Note(s) in the last chapter: Demi Clayton (Guest) and Sunrise Phoenix, and helping me get this story on a bit.

Please note: For the story, Felix is older than Adrien, and may/may not (haven't decided yet) be related to him.

In the side room to Chat Noir's room in the east wing, gloomy music filled the cold dark room, the keys playing by themselves, as the wind came out of the neatly formed rows of tall pipes.

On the floor, a small blue and purple flute, sitting on the bench one would usually sit on to play the organ, looked up at the dark, and really pretty scary looking face of the musical instrument.

After a little longer, the music stops and the head of the pipe organ bows, a smile clearly seen on his face.

"Bravo!" the little flute said standing up and clapping his hands "Bravo! Encore!"

Chuckling the organ looked down at the tiny woodwind instrument and asked in a slightly rhetorical tone "Luka… You approve?"

"Oh Maestro Felix, it's magnificent!" said Luka who was always one for music himself.

"Oh come on. It's merely and opera…"Felix began before pressing hard on his keys to let out a loud blast of music the shook the room a little and made some new cracks appear in the walls and a few windows to break "- to bring the house down."

A small piece of ceiling landed on Luka causing his instrement's head piece to get stuck on his actual head.

"Is there a part for a piccolo?" Luka asked, getting himself unstuck and looking up at Felix.

"Absolutely." said Felix before causing magical, bright sickly-green musical notes to waft from one of his pipes and go over to a chest to reveal sheet music. "Solo for Luka: In B-Flat."

Looking excited Luka started hopping over to the chest to look at the music saying: "I'd do anything for a solo!"

He had just got there when the lid closed itself.

"Yes… I know," Felix said before clearing his throat and getting down to business "Now, Luka, in the midst of my crescendo, I thought I heard merriment outside the window. Go and see what it was, will you?"

Luka hopped himself over to one of the unbroken windows and cleaned a spot dust off, big enough to look out of.

"Wow, would you look at that?" Luka said, surprised to see what was going on outside.

"Well I think I might," Felix said sarcastically "I'll just pick myself up and.. Oh what's this? I'M BOLTED TO THE WALL!" he screamed in anger as he showed Luka the heavy bolts and chains, making Luka wince a little.

"Oh, right, hahaha." Luka said nervously, "Um… the master is skating." he said before looking back outside.

"Skating?" Felix asked surprised "Why on earth would he do a thing like that?"

"Probably because that nice pretty girl is holding his hand," said Luka as a term for an answer.

"What? Marinette?" Felix asked not wanting this.

"Hey, maybe if she falls in love with him, the spell will be broken." Luka said getting hopeful "And we'll all be humans again!"

Getting mad, Felix slammed down on his keys making the room shake again, and causing Luka to fall and bounce away from the window.

"Trust me Luka. Humanity is entirely overrated." Felix began standing tall as he spoke "Before the enchantment, there was no need for my particular brand of genius."

Luka was only half listening as he dusted himself off, and fiddling with his hands an unsure look on his face,

"But now, the Master needs my melodies, to feed his tormented soul." Felix continued. "I am his confidant and his best friend. And I won't let some PEASANT GIRL ruin it for me!"

Again loud blasts of music rang around the room.

"Luka!" he said, getting the piccolo's attention "See to it that this blossoming love dies before it even becomes a bud."

"Yes Maestro Felix." Luka says, saluting him and heading out.

Back outside, Chat Noir was so good at skating now, he was able to do it on his own, and was circling Marinette to prove it.

"One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three. I think I got it!" he said loudly and skated away, leaving Marinette to giggle a little.

Up on the snowy bridge, Luka comes hopping along and joins the others, watching Marinette, and Chat Noir.

"Hey down in front, I wanna see!" Luka said, trying to be polite, but demanding at the same time. "Let me see. I want to see, too."

Getting annoyed Luka gave off a high-pitched whistle, but all that did was make the others annoyed with him and turn around to 'Shhhhhh' him.

"Quiet, please," Wayzz said firmly before turning back to Chat Noir and Marinette "Oh this is very promising."

"Yes there is something in the air," Plagg said happily, spinning Tikki around a little. "Could it be, love?"

"Love?" Luka asked nobody in particular "Oh, oh, oh. I have to stop them."

Looking around for inspiration, Luka sees the snow covered railing and then the frozen water fountain.

Knowing what he had to do, Luka slid down the railing and launched himself into the sky, landing in the fountain's bottom bowel, the speed of which he was going causing him to spin around it a few times.

Up on the bridge, everyone (well everyone except Plagg, as he was watching Chat Noir and Marinette, pleased that his idea worked) watched in confusion, Alya asking the question everyone was asking in their heads.

"What's that little toot up to?"

Luka soars out of the fountain and onto the ice tumbling, and coming to a stop, right in the way of Chat Noir and Marinette, who, because they were having so much fun, didn't see him.

As they skate past, Luka grabs onto Chat Noir's cape and tugs, making him lose his balance and making both of them fall into a large snowbank.

"Whoa…!" they cry out together and fall into the cold white powder.

Marinette comes out first gasping a little due to how 'exciting' that just was, and then Chat Noir came out, white snow covering his black fur, which he shook off quickly.

Luka, who was sent spinning after he pulled on Chat's cape, was tossed through the air once again and ended up slapping into a tree trunk, the effect making a clump of snow fall on top of him.

Back to Marinette and Chat Noir, Marinette stretches her arms and lies back on the ground, smiling as she waves her arms and legs around, making a shape.

Nearby, Luka pops out of the snow and looks over to them.

"It's a Christmas angel. See?" said Marinette, after carefully getting up.

Chat Noir rubs his head and looks at the imprint he left in the snow, his ear falling flat as he saw how, well beastly, it was.

"This is no angel," Chat Noir said looking at his shape "Just the shadow of a… monster."

Mad at himself and at his life, Chat Noir messes up the snow, staying clear of Marinette's snow-angel.

Luka grins at the anger and hatred that seemed to be going on between Chat Noir and Marinette.

"Oh, Felix is going to be so proud of me, and then, I will get to play music with him."

Chat Noir storms off towards the castle.

"I don't know why I bother," Marinette says, sighing as she kneels down and flops back into the snow again "Now he's worse than ever."

"Come on don't speak like that, girl," Alya said, coming over to her. "If you lose hope, you lose everything you have that makes you believe things will get better."

"I guess," Marinette said, smiling a little before sitting up, took off her skates, and headed back to the castle herself to warm up.
