WHAT?! 2 CHAPTERS IN 1 WEEK? IS THIS A MIRACLE? No, I just really wanted to continue writing. I might not be able to write as much in the following days as I have even MORE exams! But yeah, I'll stop bothering you with my problems. Like before, I am still looking for a Beta Reader. If you are interested message me (on this website). Anyways let's start!

The captains of the Black and Sunlit scripture had been following Gazef for half a day.

"It seems they will be stopping in that village," Novus said. "This will give us the perfect opportunity to strike!" Nigun exclaimed in anger as he put his hand over his face. "Do not let your feelings take over you my friend, I know what Stronoff did to you but we must not lose our cool," Novus calmly said as he turned towards his comrade.

"Yes, you are right. Should we begin preparations?"

"Yes, commander?" Novus addressed the person behind him. "Yes lord Mortem?" The troop commander asked as he straightened his stance. "We will begin this mission. Reaching the site is our second priority until we dispose of the Chief Warrior, am I clear?" Novus asked. "Yes sir!" The commander replied. "Good, then execute formation Fullmoon."

"Right away sir!" The commander saluted and went to enact Novus's orders. "What do we do?" Nigun asked. Novus sighed, "We watch until things get dire." "Until? Do you have such low hopes for our men?" Nigun jokingly asked. "No, but you never know what may happen," Novus responded. "I know, I know," Nigun replied.

Gazef and his men had stopped to rest in the village of Carne. They had left the capital a couple of days ago and wanted to be full of vigor when they reached their destination. Before he knew it, his platoon had been surrounded from all sides. Soldiers were circling the village, leaving no chance for escape and slowly getting closer.

It was getting dark, he wouldn't have noticed them if it weren't for the shimmering light that he spotted on the horizon.

If he had to guess, this was the work of the theocracy, there was no other country that could summon as many angels. Gazef turned around and started to address his men, "Men prepare yourselves! It seems we have been caught by surprise, but do not let this intimidate you! We are the protectors of this great kingdom, it is our job to protect it from villains such as these!"

His soldiers raised their weapons and cheered, Gazef could raise the morale of his troops even in the worst of situations. "Prepare for combat and ready the horses!" The Chief Warrior spoke. "Sir yes sir!" His men instantly got to work, preparing themselves for any outcome the battle may have. "Why are they here though? It's strange to see soldiers from the theocracy so far from their homeland," Gazef said as he looked out into the horizon.

A gentle breeze swept over the land, giving Gazef a chill that ran down his spine. Crows and hawks rested in nearby trees, for they knew there would soon be a feast in which they could dine.

"Here you go sir," coming up to him was his second in command, next to him was Gazef's horse. Gazef thanked the man as he patted the horse in the head, "Thank you, Gerald." "It's nothing, sir," Gerald responded as he got on top of his horse. "Are you ready?" Gazef asked Gerald. "Ready as can be. Don't worry sir, we won't let these bastards wreck our pride." The rest of his men were all ready to fight and die for their kingdom if necessary.

"Then let's go," Gazef said as he unsheathed his sword. Its crystalline glow is only amplified by the reflection of the now-setting sun. "For our kingdom! For our homeland! Charge!" The Cheif Warrior gave a mighty battle cry. That instant all of his forces started to charge towards their enemy. "Archers! Ready your bows!" Gazef gave one final command before the battle began.

"Are they charging us towards us?" Nigun asked in confusion. "They're brave, I'll give them that," Novus responded. "Brave, but foolish," Nigun retorted. "Men ready yourselves for the enemy is facing us head-on! Don't stop until each and every one of them is dead, for that is the will of the gods!" Nigun shouted. "Prepare the first wave of angels!" Novus added.

Soon after giving the order 15 creatures stepped up in front of the theocracy's soldiers. Their cold, metal armor protected them from unenchanted weapons. The light-emitting from their gold, sharp wings greatly intensified, most of the casters had to cover their eyes for a moment. "That should be enough to get rid of most of Stronoff's troops," Nigun smirked, ever since that moment so long ago, the captain of the Sunlit Scripture had been living with a flame of hatred only burning for one man, the man that had given him the scar that currently rested on his face, Gazef Stronoff.

Gazef charged towards the incoming angels, bow in hand. He drew his arrow, aiming for the angel closest to his position, and fired. The first attack in a battle was always one that would be forever remembered in the minds of the soldier that fought in it. Since the arrow was unenchanted, it only bounced off the monster's armor. Seeing that long-range attacks wouldn't work, Gazef let go of his bow, dropped it to the ground, and grabbed hold of his sword once more.

Out of nowhere, his horse started to violently shake, trying to get rid of its rider. "Tsk, damn magic," Gazef said as he fell off his horse. "Sir! His second in command extended his hand towards Gazef. "Thanks," Gazef climbed aboard Gerald's horse. The angels were getting closer by the second, one of them had already killed one of his men.

Suddenly Gazef was thrown off his horse a second time, only this time it was different as he felt a searing pain in his abdomen. He looked towards his side only to see an angel raising its sword, preparing to finish off the kingdom's greatest warrior. Gazef quickly blocked the incoming blow, though only barely. "[Enhanced Magic Resistance]!" Gazef had a great amount of Martial Arts up his sleeve. Since the angel's weapon was made out of magic he decided to use one of them; [Enhanced Magic Resistance]. The effects are pretty clear.

Gazef proceeded to attack the angel the moment he had the opportunity. "ARGHH!" His mighty roar echoed across the battlefield. He managed to cut through the angel, but not completely. He tried to back away, but it was too late. The angel managed to slash his left shoulder, penetrating his armor as if it were butter. "God damn!" Gazef cursed, it hurt but it was nothing compared to the other injuries he had received in previous battles.

Whilst he was recovering 2 more angels appeared, they were starting to circle him, watching any movements he made. After a while, they charged Gazef intending to kill him. "Perfect! [Fourfold Slash of Light]!" 4 bright red lines appeared before Gazef, each managing to cut one angel in half. Strangely, the angles didn't leave any corpses behind, they simply vanished into the air s golden-white particles.

"Impressive, though that is to be expected from the head warrior is it not?" Gazef turned towards the origin of the voice. "Nigun. what are your forces doing all the way out here?!" Gazef stared at the man with a great amount of hatred. "I've come to get my revenge!" Nigun's grin only grew inside when he saw that more angels were charging Gazef.

"Angels! Kill this man at once!" Nigun commanded. "What, too much of a coward to face me yourself?" Gazef taunted. Nigun's face contorted into one of anger. "How dare you! Fine, angels, stand down. I'll take care of this myself!"

"Careful, he's purposely taunting you," Novus said. "I'm aware, but my strength has doubled since we last met," Nigun boasted. "I've beat you once, I'll do it again! I assure you!" Gazef's words pierced Nigun's pride. The Sunlit's captain unsheathed his sword which was previously hidden under his dark blue coat. "Come at me!" Gazef cried out.

Nigun quickly charged towards his opponent, his speed was surprising for someone who specialized in magic. "[Pace of the Wind] [Focu Battle Aura] [Body Strengthening]!" Gazef activated his Martial Arts before Nigun could strike. Soon afterward, Nigun attacked Gazef, aiming for the arm that wielded his weapon. Gazef managed to parry in time thanks to [Pace of the Wind] which increased his speed.

Gazef aimed for Nigun's heart but was interrupted, Nigun quickly recompositioned himself and readied himself to attack Gazef once more. This process repeated itself for a couple of minutes.

Nigun tried to charge the chief warrior. Gazef did not block the incoming blow, instead, he legsweeped Nigun knocking him down on the floor. Gazef lifted his sword into the air preparing to end his opponent. But before he could finish Nigun off, he was hit in the stomach with a fireball, knocking his sword out of his hands.

"Did you really forget that I can use magic? I'm the captain of the Sunlit Scripture for a reason!" Nigun stood back up and thrust his sword towards Gazef. Without a weapon, Gazef could only block the incoming strike with his arm. Seeing this Nigun only put more force into his attack.

A fountain of blood sprung from Gazef's arm when the blade came into contact with his flesh.

"It's over Gazef, cease your futile resistance and just lie down like a good dog. As an act of mercy, I'll make sure your death is painless." The grin on Nigun's face was like none Novus had ever seen before.

Gazef slowly stood up and reached for his sword with his other arm "As long... as I stand you will not lay a finger... on this kingdom." Gazef was barely standing up, the amount of blood that he was losing was astounding.

After Momonga exited the gate he quickly turned himself invisible using [Perfect Unknowable]. This spell made the user invisible to the naked eye. It also canceled any noise the user produced. It would be dispelled if the user was spotted or if the user attacked. Using buffs while in this state doesn't dispell [Perfect Unknowable].

'Interesting, so this is the honorable Chief Warrior of the Re-Estize Kingdom, Gazef Stronoff. I have to say, he certainly has a strong will. He reminds me of Touch Me. he certainly has the same sense of justice.' Momonga looked at the warrior. 'Getting stabbed in the arm must hurt quite a bit, I should probably interfere. I don't know how long he will stay alive.'

'Let's make a flashy entrance! First impressions are key when meeting someone. Oops! I almost forgot! I should probably wear this so that I don't frighten anybody.' Momonga pulled out the Mask of Envy from his inventory. This item was given to every player who stayed online during Christmas for more than 5 hours. It was sort of a collector's item.

"[Aura, are you there?]" Momonga asked the young girl through [Message]. "[Y-Yes my lord]" The young guardian responded taken by surprise by the sudden [Message]. "[Good, I shall inform you if I need your assistance.]" "[Of course my lord.]" Momonga proceeded to cut off the mental link and started to walk towards the battlefield.

"Pathetic, after we kill you we will slaughter everyone in that village." Nigun taunted knowing that they didn't have the time for that. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
A deep and intimidating voice echoed from all around them. Every soldier from the theocracy, including Novus, shuttered when they heard the terrifying voice.

"Who goes there?" Nigun looked around, searching for the origin of the mysterious voice. A tall figure then emerged from the nearby forest. His majestic black robes were emitting an aura of despair. The being wore shoulder pads with large, crimson red orbs, his face hidden by an unnerving red mask. "Angels! Kill him, we can't have any witnesses leave this place!" Novus commanded. 10 Arc Angel Flames immediately surround Momonga. Novus turned back to look at Nigun and Gazef thinking that the problem had been dealt with.

"[Aura of Despair: III]" Novus looked back towards the mysterious figure. When their eyes met It was as if his soul was being drained from his body. He instantly looked away, unable to handle in increasing amount of terror that he felt. Every single angel that surrounded the man instantly dissipated, instead of disappearing into golden particles, their remains were nothing but ash, which as far as Novus knew, was impossible.

"That wasn't very nice." The figure spoke. Its voice single-handedly made some of Novus's soldiers wet their pants. "Ah, forgive me."

The moment the man spoke the terrifying aura that once surrounded him disappeared. "Who are you?" Novus asked, his courage returned to him. Momonga thought for a second before answering. 'Who am I? I am Momonga, the leader of Ainz Ooal gown aren't I?' 'No... I AM Ainz Ooal Gown, everyone left, I took care of the entire guild for years. Gathered enough gold to sustain Nazarick, fended off any attackers by myself, yes...'

Momonga stepped closer, "There was once a time when everyone knew this name. I am Ainz Ooal Gown, the sole master of the Great Tomb of Nazarick! The one who embodies death, and your greatest nightmare!" Momonga's eyes flickered a dark, crimson red.

"You blasphemous fool! There is only one ruler of death and that is lord Susharna!" Novus, being captain of the Black Scripture took Ainz's comment very seriously. "Ah yes, Susharna I know that name." Momonga put his hand up to his chin. "Of course! Lord Susharna is one of the Six Great Gods! There is no one who doesn't know his name!" Novus retorted.

"Yes... I believed I have killed him and his band of misfits a couple of times."

Novus looked outraged, "Impossible! Lord Susharna is a god! He cannot be killed by the hands of mere mortals!"
"Yes... but whoever said that I was a mortal?" Momonga reached towards his mask and removed it. Everyone instantly froze "Your gods were pretty weak for level 100s. I merely killed them after they slaughtered innocent players." Novus cringed, "That's it! Principality of Observation, kill this damn undead at once!" An angel that was previously standing still behind the theocracy troops started to move.

The Principality of Observation dashed towards Ainz only stopping when right in front of him. "Hmm, a Principality of Observation. Why waste my time with such monsters?" The Principality of Observation materialized a katana using its magic. Its golden edges served to inflict holy damage upon an enemy. The Principality of Observation started to barrage Ainz with its heavenly weapon. It attacked countless times, blow after blow. It only stopped after a solid minute.

"Fool, he was all bark and no bite, pathetic. Nigun commented. "This is stupid... [Hellflame]" A dark and unholy flame started to envelop the Principality of Observation. It shrieked until it turned into nothing more than corrupted, black ashes. "Such power," Gazef concluded, at first he thought that he was hallucinating thanks to all the blood loss but after seeing Nigun's face he knew that this was no illusion.

No theocracy soldier dared to move for they were all too terrified, they were afraid that if they moved their souls would be snatched away by the Grim Reaper himself. Momonga started to walk closer to Nigun and the rest of the soldiers. After gathering enough courage Nigun spoke out to Novus, "Novus! Attack it with your combat skills whilst I bombard it with my magic!"

Novus nodded, and without saying another word he rushed towards Ainz. Behind him followed spells like [Grand Fireball], [Holy Ray], [Dragon Lightning], and [Holy Lance] cast by Nigun. "Ugh, this is getting annoying, [Grasp Heart]." A palpitating heart appeared within Ainz's skeletal hand. He started to added pressure to the heart, slowly tightening his grip around it. Blood-like liquid poured from the heart into the ground when he crushed it. When he did so, Novus fell to the ground, dropping his adamantite spear.

Nigun's spells were negated by Ainz's high-tier magic immunity. Ainz then turned towards the spell's origin. "You, what did you say to the Chief Warrior? Ah yes, cease your futile resistance and just lie down like a good dog." Ainz's 'eyes' flashed a dangerous crimson red. Terror instilled itself deep into Nigun's heart. 'That's right! I still have this holy artifact given to me by the cardinals!' nigun reached for his pouch and pulled out a sealing crystal.

Ainz instantly tensed up. 'This might be dangerous'. "[Aura, I need you here immediately]" Momonga ordered. 2 seconds later the young tomboy elf appeared before her master. "Is that a selling crystal lord Ainz?" Aura asked the same worry that Ainz felt latched onto Aura. 'I see she heard my little speech' If one could see it, they would've seen death incarnate blush.

"That's right! Behold one of the final gifts that the Six Great Gods left behind! Heaven's Harbinger, kill this undead! Make it regret ever messing with the grand power of the Slane Theocracy!"

'shit'

HAHA clifhanger!
