Alright, I'll be real with you guys for a moment, I've never done a fight scene before so this might not be up to your expectations. I did try my best, and hopefully, that is enough. But are you guys prepared for Ainz to kick some butt? (A photo of Ainz's enemy is in my newly created Wattpad story, "Overlord:Breakthrough visuals to help the reader" If you want to see how it looks like go there and check it out.

"Behold! The harbinger of the Six Great Gods! Tremble with fear you worthless undead for your end is nigh!" Nigun activated the sealing crystal, releasing the being trapped within.

"Aura, take Gazef far away from here and give him this. Once you are far enough away drop him off and return to me, leave some of your beasts with him to make sure that nothing happens to him." Ainz handed a healing potion to Aura. "But lord Ainz! We don't know what could be inside that crystal!" Aura pleaded "based on his little speech then I have a good idea of what it is, if you are quick enough I should be fine, now go!" Ainz instructed. "Right away my lord!"

Aura then picked up Stronoff. It looked a little comedic, a little girl carrying a grown man by the shoulder.

The moment Aura left Ainz's sight a powerful shockwave blasted from the now-broken crystal. "Heaven's Harbinger, kill this sinful being, eradicate it from this world and prove that the theocracy bows to no one!" Nigun addressed the now visible being.

'I've dealt with a couple of these before, though fighting them was always a pain. If the level cap has been broken, this would help me gain some experience.' Ainz never broke eye contact with the being that was now positioned between himself, and the Captain of the Sunlit Scripture.

{Heaven's Harbingers, these holy enforcers are the living embodiment of heavenly principles. Born from the remains of holy supreme beings, these living virtues hunt down the impurities that infest the 9 realms. Their mastery over spiritual and divine magic makes them relentless beasts when it comes to dealing with supreme beings that possess negative karma.

These monsters can work together with each other thanks to their hivemind, they use this to their advantage by learning and adapting to certain enemies. If one of these majestic beings falls against demonic forces, then their brethren hunt the killer and avenge their fallen brother or sister, this time knowing what they are facing up against. Their incredible speed only enhances their ability to take out their enemies.

These harbingers can only be taken out by the best of the supreme beings, earning them the honor of being level 100 monsters. These creatures are capable of basic communication which makes them even more deadly. They are able of entering a beserk-like mode when near death, when in this state, they can attack 30% faster, the cost being that their attack power significantly drops (50%). As a result of being the spawn of diseased gods, they obey any order that is given to them if the person given said order has a karma value higher than 0, and is in at least some way, affiliated with the supreme being that is was born from. Ironically enough, these blessed beings are weak to dark and wicked magic.}

"[Activate: Aura of Despair V], [Body of Effulgent Aquamarine], [Crimson Shards], [Greater Holy Resistance], [Greater Spiritual Resistance]." Ainz turned towards the fallen members of Gazef's squad, "At least your deaths will have some meaning, [Twin Magic Create High-Tier Undead: Death Emperor], [Create Undead Platoon: Death Knights], [Perfect Unkownable]" Ainz cast spell after spell, preparing to face off the level 100 monstrosity.

Ainz went invisible after using [Perfect Unknowable]. Through a mental link, Ainz instructed his summons on what to do. 'Gain me as much time as you can, use these Death Knights in any way you want, just make sure to buy me as much time as possible. Am I understood?'

'Yes oh, great master, these ones will do as much as they can.' The Death Emperors said as they readied themselves for combat. Ainz nodded and started working. "Running away and leaving his minions to fight for him? What a cowardly undead! Harbinger, kill these foul monsters!"

Heaven's Harbinger sprung into action, it quickly reached the Death Emperors and prepared to strike, its attack ended up being blocked by a Death Knight who got in between it and its prey. The Death Knight's shield crumbled to the floor, unable to withstand such a mighty blow. Though its shield was now nothing more than dust, the Death Knight managed to survive the deadly blast thanks to its special ability.

Seeing an opportunity, one of the Death Emperors dashed towards the harbinger intending to at least wound it. Its attack was parried and countered, the harbinger was about to attack but the other emperor intervened, distracting the monster.

"I have to get myself and Novus out of here, he will be revived back at Kami-Miyako. If this undead manages to win against all odds then I need to inform the theocracy. For it to kill one of the most powerful men in the world with one simple spell, such terrifying power." Niggun spoke to himself as he picked up his comrade's dead body. Luckily, he was far enough from the invisible skeleton to be killed by his Aura of Despair.

Ainz started to litter the entire battlefield with spells whilst this was all going on. "[Triple Maximize Magic: Nuclear Mine], [Triple Maximize Magic: Nuclear Mine], [Delay Magic: Explosion]"

Heaven's Harbinger had no idea this was going on, [Perfect Unknowable] was still in use for Ainz hadn't attacked it.

The platoon of Death Knights was divided into 3 squads. 15 were protecting each Death Emperor, whilst 10 surrounded the harbinger. The Death Emperors were blasting their opponent with [Black Hole]. Approximately 24% of its health was already gone. Suddenly, the harbinger started to emit a holy aura that stunned and nearly killed all of Ainz's undead.

Heaven's Harbinger took this opportunity and attacked, its claws tearing apart all of the surrounding Death Knights, with their main use gone, they were nothing more than easy prey. With a single strike, half of the Death Knights were killed.

'Ainz looked towards the massacre. 'Seems like I don't have much longer...'

The Death Emperors were struggling, after most of their defenses were gone, they could only rely on themselves to avoid the incoming storm of strikes. "[Hell Flame], [Touch of the Reaper]" They chanted, hoping to but their master some more time. The once grassy plains were now nothing more than charred soil. The nearby trees, completely rid of their leaves.

'That should do it, I should probably go help them out though' Ainz thought as he placed the last of his traps. He teleported himself behind Heaven's Harbinger and prepared to attack, the moment he engaged his enemy [Perfect Unknowable] would be dispelled, so he needed to choose an attack wisely. "[Triple Maximize Magic: Reality Slash]!" Ainz released three reality-defying attacks upon the angel.

The angel stopped its relentless advance against the Death Emperors and looked behind him. Ainz raised the tier of his Aura of Despair, 'This should at least drain some health from this damned monster.'

Ainz teleported next to his summons before the harbinger could retaliate. "You have done well, I shall be joining you in this endeavor since the preparations are now complete."

'I have to be quick, the longer that Heaven's Harbingers enter their combat state the more dangerous they become.' Ainz changed his stance from one of neutrality to one of weariness.

Sensing the possible danger, the harbinger materialized 2 scythe-shaped blades that latched themselves onto its arms. "Guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown... Ender of the World-Eater... Possesser of Eleven Legacies... prepare to meet your end." The harbinger had a rough yet quiet voice, if they didn't know better one would think it was whispering.

"I see your ability to communicate still functions, many of your brothers and sisters have met their doom at my hands. What makes you think you are any different?" The truth is, Ainz had only beaten so many thanks to his overwhelming preparation, though that was when he was only level 95.

Levels were crucial when it came to Yggrasil. It was nigh impossible for a level 100 player to be defeated by a group who was a lower level. NPCs and monsters were different though, with enough preparations, a couple of parties filled with level 90-95 players could beat a level 100 monster, though that depended on if the aforementioned monster was a normal NPC or a boss.

"You...are...alone. Your comrades... are... gone" The harbinger taunted Ainz, knowing that he longer had his friends to back him up. Heaven's Harbingers were connected similarly to how Ainz is connected with his summons, via a mental link. The information that one acquired was passed down to its entire race. "You may be correct, but I don't need any assistance to defeat you..." Ainz's crimson red orbs flashed a dangerous color.

It was a race against the clock, the harbinger became more powerful with every minute, if Ainz didn't defeat it fast enough then it would grow too powerful. Of course, he could leave its range of attack and return later, but that would mean that a level 100 monster would be roaming about for an undetermined amount of time.

Ainz began the battle by casting one of his most powerful spells, "[Triple Maximize Magic: Reality Slash]" Three bright cracks appeared before the sanctified monster, ripping some of its armor off. 'Only 30%, I need to lure it towards some of my traps. If I can do that then it will be injured enough to enter its enraged state. After that, I'll just have to attack it whilst dodging. It will be hard, but I'll manage.'

The attack only stunned the harbinger for a moment before it started to charge Ainz. "[Hold Spcecies]!" The spell only paralyzed the angel for a millisecond, but that was enough to buy Ainz the time to teleport behind the harbinger. "[Touch of the Reaper]" A spectral hand tried to reach for the angel only to be cut in half by its mystifying weapons. The harbinger lunged towards Ainz, hoping to land a lethal strike on the Overlord "[Greater Hardening]!" Ainz prepared for the incoming blow.

A blinding explosion was released the moment the angel came in contact with Ainz, blasting it away. "Well, there goes [Body of Effulgent Aquamarine]" Since the damage was piercing damage, it was completely negated, preventing Ainz from being hurt. Seeming to recover from Ainz's protective measures, the harbinger prepared to attack once more, though this time it didn't charge its opponent. "[Crack In The Ground], [Blasphemy of the Damned], [Holy Smite]". The ground below Ainz split apart, revealing a swarm of translucent arms that grabbed hold of Ainz. Since it was not a spell that dealt damage, it was not negated by his [High-Tier Magic Immunity]. Before Ainz could release himself from his spectral chains, he was hit by a blinding-white beam of divine magic.

While all of this was going on, golden circles filled with a cryptic language sprouted from nowhere, positioning themselves around Ainz. They glowed brighter by the second, then, a golden beam reaching the heavens engulfed the previous beam. Swallowing it and the level 100 undead, dealing a devastating blow to Ainz's health bar.

"ARGH!" Ainz bellowed.

"[Blasphemy of the Damned] was a 10th tier spell that unleashed a heavenly beam upon any nearby undead. It dealt a greater amount of damage if the undead was level 90 or higher.

The villagers of Carne were in mass hysteria whilst all of this was happening. "M-Mommy, what is going on outside," A child asked her mother, a fearful look in her eyes. "A battle between gods, Emu. "Don't worry, everything is going to be alright." The girl's older sister proclaimed as she embraced her younger kin. The Emmot family had hidden within their house the moment the Chief Warrior engaged the opposing soldiers.

Since their house was positioned near the edge of the village they were able to hear everything. The speech about how once the Chief Warrior was gone they would slaughter everyone inside the village, and how the Chief Warrior fought until his last breath. They were all driven into despair until the masked being announced himself saying that he would never allow the knights to kill anyone inside the village.

They were terrified the moment that the man revealed himself to be an undead but that changed the moment that he had begun fighting the soldiers. They thought it was over when the scarred man released a god incarnate from a crystal. Though surprisingly the undead managed to hold his ground. It was ironic, this family was currently praying, hoping that the undead would emerge victorious.

The spell disappeared after a couple of seconds, leaving a forest of flames in its stead. Like a Pheonix, Ainz emerged from the fire, trails of steam leaking out of his majestic black robes. 'God damn that hurt, that was something I truly didn't expect.'

The harbinger didn't give Ainz any time to recover for it continued its relentless attack, "[Curse of the Earth]"

Countless boulders and rocks were launched at Ainz at a ridiculous speed. 'Perfect [Silent Magic: Teleport]'. Dust flew into the air when the giant boulders collided with the ground, preventing the harbinger from seeing Ainz.

"[Triple Maximize Magic: Reality Slash]! [Triple Maximize Magic: Touch of the Reaper]! [Extinguished Uriel]!" Ainz's voice echoed throughout the battlefield from an unknown location. [Reality Slash] managed to hit the harbinger in more vital locations thanks to maximizing [Touch of the Reaper], which increased the number of arms that were lunged against the opponent, though the harbinger managed to severe some, a small amount still managed to grab hold of it. Immobilizing it for a moment.

[Extinguished Uriel] is A 10th tier spell, which in contrast to its heavenly version, Uriel, deals purgatory flame-type damage. It was the kind of spell that could be learned by a magic caster of any type as long as the requirements to learn it was met. However, this spell only did its listed damage when cast by a magic caster with a maxed-out negative karma value. Its damage decreased as one's karma value increased. If it was cast by a player who possessed +500 karma, then its attack power would be equivalent to a tier 1 spell.

Heaven's Harbinger kept being blasted by Ainz's spells, giving it little time to counter-attack. Casting such a large number of spells was taking its toll on Ainz, his volley of spells decreased by the minute. Seeing this, the harbinger cast its next spell. "[Shield of Gabriel]". A golden dome encompassed the angel, preventing it from being damaged. Its health was near-critical level, 30%, 10% away from it entering berserk mode.

"[Brilliant Radiance!]". 5 spectral angels appeared before Heaven's Harbinger, each level 80. "Go... my children... Slay this heathen..." Commanded the harbinger. Two of these angels split off from the rest, charging Ainz, one on each side. The other three stayed with their master, charging their enemy head-on.

"[Spectral Whip]!" The sound of lightning could be heard as the two strays disappeared, never to be seen again. "Perfect timing."

"Sorry for the wait Lord Ainz, the human had some questions and didn't let me join you for quite a while," Aura said as she approached her lord. "Don't fret, you arrived just in time to see the spectacle..." Ainz chuckled as he patted the young elf on the head. Aura blushed. Ainz pointed towards the quickly approaching squad of angels, "[Release Greater Magic Seal]!"

At that moment, a barrage of explosions encompassed the angels, incinerating the level 80s and further injuring the harbinger. A pristine, white liquid started to ooze from all over the damaged angel, signifying its transition. "Prerequisite conditions met... Initiating 'inquisitor' mode..."

10 white, metallic wings started to sprout from behind the harbinger, Its black armor turned an alabaster white. Its twin scythes transformed into a singular katana easily reaching 3 1/2 meters in height.

"Aura, I need you to keep it distracted for as long as you can, with your speed being as high as it is I doubt that you'll have any trouble." Ainz instructed, "But be careful, that blade can cut straight through Apoithakarah."

"I hear and obey," The young guardian charged the virtuous angel, calling some of her beasts for assistance.

'I have to be quick,' Ainz thought as he pulled an hourglass from his inventory. 'I better be ready for the possibility that I have to use this.'

Aura charged at the angel, whip in hand. Her opponent stood still, ready to face the incoming strike. A massive shockwave radiated the moment their weapons collided. Though a young child, Aura was still a level 100 NPC. Her whip managed to grab the harbinger by the leg. "[Thunderous Applause]!" Electricity coursed through her weapon grasping towards her enemy.

The harbinger did not resist this, instead, it grabbed Aura's whip and used it to propel the young elf into the air. It then launched itself after her, preparing to turn the elf into a sliced ham. before it could do that though, one of Aura's beasts rammed itself into the angel, preventing it from cutting Aura in half. "[Horn of Gabriel]!" The angel proceeded to turn its attention towards the giant snake.

A deafening sound echoed all around it, killing the monster and defeating Aura for a moment. "You'll pay for that!" Aura hissed as she dived towards the angel. The impact sent both parties flying towards the ground.

While all of this was happening, Ainz was powering up to defeat Heaven's Harbinger. "[Blessing of the Magic Caster], [Greater Magic Accumulation],
[Penetrate Up ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)], [Soften Steel], [Strengthen Self]!" That should be enough... Alright, let's do this. "[Aura, get away from the angel]"

"[Understood]" Aura started to retreat, the angel didn't permit this, it stretched its hand, grasping for the guardian. "Too slow!" Aura said as she appeared next to Ainz.

The angel, knowing what was to come started to charge Ainz at an immeasurable speed. "[Maximize magic: Temporal Stasis]" The angel stopped, it was as if something was holding it down. It tried to move but its efforts were in vain."The name Ainz Ooal Gown does not know defeat!" Ainz shattered the hourglass that was in his grasp, "[Dark Dream]!"
