To Freckles: I'm out front, come down when you're ready."

Can't believe it's already the first day of school, Free musing to herself, foot tapping the concrete to her music and eyes scanning the webs for any villain attacks going on.

"Morning!" A newly familiar and cheery voice greeting, orange meeting green at his expected appearance.

"Sup Freckles? Ya ready to get this show on the road?"

Izuku Midoriya nodded rapidly, "I'm nervous, but excited too!"

"Right?" The two of them heading for the train together, while chatting casually about what the day will bring.

--

Less than thirty minutes later, they're moving through the empty hallways of their new school, bell only a few moments away from ringing and pair determined not to be late.

"There!" Thin finger pointing at a giant door with 1.A posted up top. "If there's anyone in our class that tall I'll eat my hand," she jokes.

Somewhat.

"The most promising students in the country are waiting behind this door," he mumbles ahead of her.

"I like to believe the top two are walking through it currently," she comments over his shoulder, earning a small, yet still weary smile from him. "Awe, don't stress Freckles, ya got me. I have ya back, okay?"

Somehow, Free's confidence manages to lift some of his anxiety, greenet hoping to gain some self-esteem for himself in the near future.

Of course, that hope comes to a crashing stop as the door slides opened and the first people within sight are Katsuki Bakugo and the navy haired guy from the exam. Serious teen lecturing the smirking blond, who lounges with his feet on his desk, giving attitude.

"You're kidding me. Your old school put a stick up your ass or were you born with it?"

Free Hastings laughing at that, multiple pairs of eyes jumping to the owner of the melodious sound of it. Though not the one she would of preferred, handsome teens focus still on the male who robotically swings his arms around in introduction.

Better go ruin his day; he looks too comfortable, redhead crossing the room straight for the fiery blond, positive her freckled friend will be alright in the meantime.

"It's him!" Robot guy gasped, sight set behind her, Midoriya freezing as everyone shifts their attention to him now.

All except Katsuki Bakugo, who's carmine stare rests on the girl who stops at his desk, "what are the chances, huh, Prettyboy?" Her grin wide while looking down at him. "Guess you'll get that chance at putting me in my place after all."

"Hah!? You're really asking for it Brickhead. I'll be sure to deliver when the time comes."

"More promises… hope you know what you're in for Kacchan," use of Izuku's nickname bringing about a few mini explosions.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!"

"You heard me and you know it," Texan having no problem leaning forward to make a point of being unafraid and enjoying the vein on Katsuki's neck that gradually grows bigger. "Can't wait to see if you're not all talk yourself, Hothead."

"If you're just here to make friends, you can pack up your stuff and leave," a somber voice says, quieting the classroom. "Welcome to U. A's hero course," it continued sounds of a zipper following, "-it took 8 seconds before you all shut up… that's not going to work. Time is precious; rational students would understand that."

Is that our teacher, maroonette wondering, completely forgetting about her current actions and eyeing the thirty-year-old man standing in the doorway.

"Hello. I'm Shoto Aizawa, your teacher."

I knew it.

"Alright, let's get to it," he says, pulling a gym uniform from within the mustard sleeping bag, "put this on and get outside."

Ohhkay.

Free swiftly depositing her stuff on the empty desk in front of the explosive boys and lining up behind the rest of the class for her own. When it's in hand, she exits the room where a group of girls are gathered. "Hiya! I'm Uraraka Ochaco," a cheery brunette raising her hand in friendliness.

"Free Hastings," introducing herself to all of them with a smile and peace sign. "Call me whatever ya like... though, Brickhead and Pumpkin Face are reserved for the prickly blond," motioning to Katsuki stomping up ahead.

"We figured we could find the girls change room together and then go down as a group! Make sure no-one gets lost," Ochaco says, waving the taller girl to follow.

Oh.

"I'd love that, thanks for waiting," nodding to the other four girls as well.

"I love your accent!" A bright pink girl throws out, hair just as pink as she is. "I'm Ashido Mina, but all my friends call me Mina, so please do!"

"Sure thing, Mina," Texas teen already liking the easygoing atmosphere provided by her female classmates.

"I'm Asui Tsuyu, but Tsuyu is fine," the smallest put forth, drawing orange orbs to her presence.

"Oh my lord! You're so cute!" Redhead solely focused on the froglike teen next to her. "Please, please, please tell me your Quirk is amphibian based?"

"Ribbit. It is," Tsuyu confirming without much need for evidence.

"Ahhh that's so cool!! I prayed for years for mine to be, but got stuck with Metamorphosis, like my Ma. I can't believe I get to meet someone with my dream Quirk!" Stars in her sunrise orbs as she admires the petit greenette, Tsuyu blushing at the praise, no one ever complimenting her Quirk like the freckled American gazing down at her.

"I'm Jirou Kyoka," the other shortest girl speaks up from next to the other tallest, who introduces herself as Yaoyorozu Momo, American shaking both their hands.

"Gotta admit… this is definitely the coolest bunch of girls I've laid eyes on. Let's make sure to not let the male dominated class show us up, okay?" A look of pure determination on her face upon entering the empty locker room to change.

"I agree with Free! Let's kick some ass today!" Ochaco finding it easy to get swept up in her classmates' excitement.

"Woo," Texan cheering and lifting her hand for the round-faced girl to high-five.

--

On that note, the six girls' journeyed outside together to join the remainder of their class and standing in a group as the homeroom teacher brings up a Quirk assessment test.

As Ochaco mentions the welcome ceremony, Free scoots past a few students to stand next to her favorite blonde and winking when he notices her.

"-here at U.A, we're not tethered to traditions. That's also how we teachers, run our classes as well; as we see fit," Aizawa stating amid motioning to the training field. "You kids have been doing standardized physical tests since Junior High, without your Quirks, correct?"

The majority of the class agreeing, other than Free who eyes equipment with curiosity, is this like track and field?

"-these physical tests are where the school board averages it results, but it doesn't make any sense. The Ministry of Education is procrastinating in being rational by pretending that we're all created equal and not letting those with the most power excel… which brings me to my next point, Bakugo." At his name being called, the male steps forward with a raised brow. "You managed to get the most points during the entrance exam.. what was your best result for softball throw in Jr.High?"

"67 meters," the blonde responding without much thought.

"Try to do it with your Quirk. Anything goes, just stay in the circle. Go on," Sensei leaving no room for questions or refusal, teen strolling over to the circle with his hands in his pockets, Katsuki removing one to pick a ball, before smirking over his shoulder at Free.

"Well then, you asked for it… DIE!" A toned arm swinging in a wide arch and launching the softball with a fiery bang, sending it high into the sky.

Holy, the redhead squinting to watch the ball as it finally drops hundreds of feet away, "damn."

Aizawa lifting his phone with a whopping 705.2 Meters sprawled blatantly in red, "know your maximum capabilities first. That's the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero."

So, he's saying from this point on we're basically starting at Rock bottom and building onto that…

Meaning there's no other way to go than up, an pensive expression and feral grin resting on the Americans freckled face.

"Mrs.Hastings."

The teenage girl straightening up swiftly and directing her attention to the long-haired teacher, "yes, Sir?"

"Tests like these in American schooling systems are different, correct?"

"Very."

"Did they allow you use of your Quirk in their version?"

"They did Sir."

"They also split Quirks by category, correct?"

"Yes, Mr. Aizawa."

"Category?" A couple students mumble, obviously confused by it.

"9 in total. Airborn, Augmentation, Beast, Elemental, Hospitality, JackofAll, Mechanical, Medical, Hospitality and Support," she lists by heart.

"Woah," spikey crimson-haired male voicing, "I wonder what one I'd be put in."

Redhead shooting him an easygoing smile, "if ya like, I can make an assumption once I know your Quirk better."

"Really?! That'd be awesome! Thanks!" Eijiro Kirishima elated from the offer. Are all girls this easy to talk to?

"Ahem, anyway," Aizawa going on, "every student will complete these and we'll go over results at the end."

"It looks fun," Ashido piping in, pinkette provoking the teacher's annoyance.

"It looks fun?" his tone laced with underlying graveness. "You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time? Idiots…"

Note to self, avoid the word fun in this class, American biting her lip to contain smile.

One of the terrible habits she has: laughing at inappropriate times.

"-whoever comes in last place of all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."

What?!

Orange orbs scanning her fellow classmates, the majority having the same reaction, surprise and astonishment crossing most of their faces. Izuku looks terrified, she instantly gathers, her friends' forest-greens wide. I got your back Freckles. Half-assing it for a friend isn't anything new for me.

"Like I said, I get to decide how this class runs," the Pro Hero lifting his hair up in emphasis to show his eyes and sadistic grin. "Understand? If that's a problem, you can head home right now."

As if, Texas Native snorting, even more determined as she ducks between students again, while Ochaco argues that it's not fair to send any one home. Free gently putting her hand on Izuku's shoulder, freckled boy flinching at the touch, prior to sighing in relief at her easy smile. "We got this Freckles. Just remember what I've been teaching you about focus this last week. Apply it to where it'll make the most impact."

"R-right!"

"Use that big brain of yours and you'll be fine," tugging on one of his curls to fluster him.

Better that, than to be nervous.

"-you think natural disasters are fair? Or power-hungry villains?" Their teacher making a good point. "What about catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No. The world is full of unfairness."

I'm well aware of that firsthand...

"-it's a hero's job to combat that unfairness. If you want to be a pro, you're going to have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, U.A will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So go beyond, Plus Ultra style." Man tilting his head in challenge at his next words, "show me its no mistake that you're here."

"Bring it on Teach," Free never one to hold back from a good competition.

--

Over the next hours, all 20 students compete in 8 tests. The 50 Meter Dash, Grip Strength, Standing Long Jump, Repeated Side Steps, Ball Throw, Distance Run, Sit ups and Seated Toe Touch.

Things are going as expected for the maroonette, who's faired poorly in the tests so far, opting out of using her Quirk fully and mostly relying on stamina, unlike everyone else other than Midoriya. Pretty sure Aizawa has picked up on it too, earning a few narrowed glances from the serious man. Going to have to beat everyone in the distance run, minus Turbo...

Class gets really interesting during the fifth test, when Izuku steps forward for the ball throw, standing quietly and in contemplation holding the ball. "If Midoriya doesn't shape up soon, he or Hastings-san will be the ones going home," Iida Tenya commenting from the other side of Katsuki, Free leaning around the snapping blond to eye the taller boy.

He's not wrong, she pursed while shaking her head at Bakugo who points at Izuku calling him a 'Quirkless loser.'

"Huh? He has a Quirk," Tenya says. "Did you not hear about what he did in the entrance exam?"

Blew up a robot, Texan recalling from the story her neighbor told and turning away from the two males to watch him. He needs to stop thinking so hard. "Freckles!" Waiting for him to meet her gaze, "relax and control! Ya got this!"

"Freckles?" Bomber next to her muttering, red eyes snapping back and forth between Deku and the pain in the ass girl to his right. How the hell does she know the nerd?!

Still, even with his friend's encouragement, Izuku panics, activating All for One without certainty, arm lighting up briefly as he throws with all his might. 46 Meters, Mr.Aizawas device reads out. W-what? "What gives?" Teen looking at his hand I'm befuddlement. "I was trying to use it just now."

"I erased your Quirk," white scarf floating in the air all of a sudden as their Sensei steps forwards to speak up. "The judges for this exam were not rational enough. Someone like you should never be allowed to enroll at this school."

Free's face dropping at the teachers' harsh words, excuse me, stepping forward to stand up for her friend, until a sweaty hand stops her. "Save your breath, Brickhead," Bakugou scoffing and letting go to glare ahead once more.

"-Erasure Hero, Eraserhead."

"Who?"

"Erasure Hero?"

Eraserhead? That's original.

"You're not ready. You don't have control over your power." Aizawa says, Midoriya stuck in spot as he's lectured. "Were you planning on breaking your bones again? Counting on someone else to save your useless body?"

"N-No! That's not what I was trying to do," the greenet defends.

However not sounding sure, prompting the Prohero to drag the poor teen forward, "no matter what your intentions are, you would be nothing more than a liability in battle… you have the same reckless passion as another over zealous Hero I know."

All Might, redhead quickly assuming, comparing the two multiple time over the last week of being around Izuku.

"-one who saved a thousand people by himself and became a legend."

I was right, 17-year-old moving in closer as the older man lowered his voice.

"But even with that drive, you're worthless if you can only throw one punch before breaking down. "Sorry Midoriya... with your power there's no way you can become a hero."

It takes more resistance than she thought possible to hold back from calling out her teacher angrily, American biting a cheek to attempt in remaining quiet and ultimately failing. "You're wrong," girl gaining Aizawa's attention. "Izuku's got heart. Control will come with time and work, but heart is something you're born with." Midoriya gawking at the redhead putting her neck on the line for him. "Isn't it your job to help him master what he sucks at, especially when he's so driven by all the right things?"

Unbeknownst to Class 1.A, All Might lurks silently around the corner, watching the whole ordeal with bright eyes. Elle... she's your daughter down to the bone, a feeling of nostalgia and fondness settling on the large man. Young Midoriya will surely succeed with a friend like her, as I did with your guidance.

With a glance to the transfer student, Shota released the boy, who appears defeated with his head down. "I've returned your impractical Quirk. Take your final throw," an air or finality to his words as he exits the circle. "Hurry and get it over with," scarf now snapping out to grab the outspoken girl and lugging her towards him.

"Ooof," Free tripping over her tied feet and landing face down.

"What makes you think you have a right to speak up when you're only a position higher in results than Midoriya is?"

The female teen spitting dirt from her mouth and turning her head to look up at him, "a gal can't condone bullying, superior or not."

Teacher humming as he puts eyedrops in, "you're aware if the kid pulls this off, you'll be expelled."

"Doubt it," she says under her breath. "Even so, better me than him. He's special," words leaving her mouth exactly as a burst of wind blows everyone's hair back, the thrown softball disappearing in the distance and Midoriya twisting to the prone girl and professor.

"Mr.Aizawa… you see, I'm still standing."

"This kid," pride evident in his tone as chatter about the high score spreads amongst everyone else.

Up until explosions go off, Bakugo propelling himself across the field towards the smaller boy. "Deku you bastard! Tell me how you did that or your dead!" Luckily, Aizawa is a pro for a reason, his odd binding dropping Free and catching the raging teen mid air instead. "What? Why the hell is your scarf so damn strong?"

I asked myself that same question minutes ago, American picking herself off the ground and dusting off.

"-capture weapon made out of carbon fiber and a special metal alloy. Stand down," Pro ordering. "It would be wise to avoid making me use my Quirk so much."

Wow, he's kind of attractive like that, Free raking over the scruffy man in a new light.

"It gives me serious dryeye."

Then he had to go and say that, a sigh of disappointment escaping the girl while her fellow classmates admit his Quirk is crazy awesome. It's not what he said, more like how he said it, giggling at how nerdy it was.

He is a teacher... so nerd is right up his alley.

"You're wasting my time now. Whoever's next can step up," Shota wanting to move on and get back to his sleeping bag sooner than later.

"Oh. It's me," redhead giving Izuku a thumbs up and pausing next to the explosive blond. "Ya gonna stand there all day or am I special?" The teasing girl leaning in to catch Katsuki's notice.

Oh. He's mad. He's really mad...

"MOVE BRICKHEAD," his shoulder slamming into her own hard.

"Still think you can do better than that, Prettyboy," referring to his lame nickname for her. Without much effort, she tosses the ball, getting a measly 63 meters and flexing as a joke. "I really thought I'd do better than Shoji, but I guess what they say is true; six arms are better than one," a number of students laughing when she winks at the larger teen, who has no issue with camaraderie, face covering seemingly lifting in smile.

--

The rest of the fitness course continues up to the last test, a long-distance run, where five students at a time race 1000 meters. Already aware this is her only chance to show off, the American tosses gym shirt down and freeing her upper body for morphing.

"F-F-Free!" Midoriya's voiced all squeaky, alerting the entire classroom to her undressing.

"Relax Freckles. One of our teachers is Midnight, if this bothers you, how are you ever going to survive her?" Red brows raising at the pink-faced boy. "Besides, didn't ya say ya wanted to see my Quirk in action?"

At that, he drops his hands to watch in anticipation, "please!"

Laughing, she focuses on transferring 30% of her recent solar energy harvested and gathering it at her back. In a matter of seconds, shimmering crystal-like light traveling along her tanned skin to cover scarred shoulder blades and spine, diamond chrysalis forming in place.

Moments later, it shatters, yellow and fawn decorated wings springining free in a burst of color.

Free Hastings, Quirk: Lumomorphosis (Lumokinesis and Metamorphosis) : Ability to store electromagnetic energy, using light collected in bursts for boosts, attacks and defense. Also helps immensely in speeding her Metamorphosis, which can create and use any attribute of female and male Lepidoptera, as long as she's informed on the species.

Least Skipper butterfly, fastest of its kind, can fly up to 37 miles per hour, girl distancing herself from Midoriya and spreading the wings in full, gasps from a few girls bringing everyone in closer.

"Free-Chan is so pretty!" Ochaco bouncing over to admire the human sized butterfly wings. "I love the yellow!"

"Thank ya."

"I can't believe you can fly! Why are you just bringing these out now?" Mina jumping forward, her golden eyes never leaving the scaled wings.

Free shrugging, "needed time, but now I'm ready for a race. Where's Hothead, I want to show him up!" Wings lifting her from the grass high enough to spot him by the birdlike teen and Iida. "Hey Prettyboy! Let's be in the same race!"

Unsurprisingly, Bakugou glares at the winged girl, his ruby vision scanning the colorful wings, refusing to admit to himself they are kind of badass. Even for a stupid butterfly. "If you really enjoy getting your ass kicked that much, why not Wings?"

"Oooo, that's a bit better. Maybe you aren't such a lost cause afterall, huh," playful tone to her words. "Can't wait to watch you eat dust, Kaachan," her weak effort to rile him up working, fiery teen ordering everyone to move it and pointing at Free to take her place a meter away. Along with them, Kirishima, Uraraka and Sato line up too, Aizawa saying go moments later, none of the five hesitating and all taking off immediately.

Nothing apart from winning matters, Half-American tuning out her competitors and urging her wings on. Spring breezing bringing her to life and the heat of a body not far behind spuring the teen faster. This one's mine, butterfly girl releasing a shot of energy and propelling herself across the finish line in mere seconds when it's sighted. 43 seconds. Bakugo arriving in second place at 54 seconds, his once over confident grin long gone and replaced with a sour frown.

The hell was that force, ash blonde furrowed at the girl.

"Next!" The teacher calling out and moving things forward when other racers pass the line.

"What do ya think?" Maroonette genuinely interested in the arrogant teen's opinion on her Quirk.

"Hah?!" Carmine trailing over the slender, yet curvy and toned female who stands unflinching in his presence. "I hope you're not trying to compare your lame ass Quirk to mine, Brickhead."

"I wouldn't say compare, more so fishing for a compliment," her smile widening at his irked brow.

"Compliment?! Hah! Never going to happen," condescending laughter and disbelief radiating off the spikey-haired male.

He really thinks he's better than everyone here.

Redhead promising herself to knock him down a peg and moving away to cheer Izuku on, casually talking with Mina while awaiting the results.

--

"Alright… I've ranked you all from best to worst, but you should already have a good idea of your standing." Mr.Aizawa says, everyone gathering closer together. "I'll just pull up the whole list, it's not worth going over each person's personal score."

1. Momo Y.

2. Shoto T.

3. Katsuki B.

4. Tenya I.

5. Fumikage T.

6. Mezo S.

7. Mashirao O.

8. Eijiro K.

9. Mina A.

10. Ochaco U.

11. Koji K.

12. Rikido S.

13. Tsuyu A.

14. Yoga A.

15. Hanta S.

16. Denki K.

17. Kyoka J.

18. Free H.

19. Minoru M.

20. Izuku M.

Shit, Free already shuffling over to the green-haired teen.

"-and I was lying; no one's going home." All students snapping their heads to their trick-worthy sensei. "-that was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it all in your test," teeth glaring white in the sun from his shit eating smirk.

Why am I not surprised, Texan releasing her Quirk, wings disintegrating in the breeze and irises returning to their regular dark peach-shade.

"I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out… I'm sorry, I probably should have said something," Yaoyorozu says unhelpfully as the American works on peeling her near dead freckled friend from the ground.

"Well, that's it. We're done for the day… there's a syllabus in the classroom, make sure to read it over by tomorrow morning," Shota throwing a half wave over his shoulder and leaving his class to their own devices.

"Heya, Freckles... ya gonna make it?" Free snapping her fingers a few times to gain Izuku's focus. "Personally, I find teachers boring if they don't attempt to scare the shit outta ya on the first day, so consider this a perk. Never know what we're gonna get with a guy like that, ya know?"

"Shut it with your damn slurring. How the hell you expect any of us to understand your piss poor Japanese with all that slang thrown in there."

The butterfly girl shifting to glare at him, "excuse me?"

"You heard me and you know it, Pumpkin face."

Instantly forgetting about Midoriya's fake expulsion, Hastings dodges the throng of teenagers until she's face to face with the ballsy bomber, "now, now Katsuki... if you wanted my attention, all ya had to do was say. We're long past the pulling girls pigtails stage, right?"

W-what, ruby widening. It isn't very often that Bakugo's left speechless, today a first in a while, explosive boy usually quite good at getting the better of someone... though he's never had the privilege of knowing the rowdy and wayward soul of Free Hastings until now.

"What's the matter charmer? Brickhead got your tongue?" Girl sticking her tongue out, ahead of beginning the trek inside to change.

"Free, wait up!" Mina dragging Ochaco and Tsuyu to catch up with the taller girl, other ones joining in too. An underlying understanding that in order to succeed, it's important to band and work together.

--

As if timed perfectly, the end of the day bell sounds when Free and her all girlband enter the class to grab their bags and syllabus, a number of other classmates doing the same. "You want to walk down together Free-chan?" Ochaco suggests, her inviting smile hard to refute.

"I'd like that. Anyone else?" American extending the offer to the rest of the class.

"Ooo, me! I want to talk about Free and the angry blonde! What's his name again?"

"Katsuki Bakugo," she shares while sliding her backpack on and pulling a granola bar from it. "I don't really know him, mostly whatever Izuku's told me. I just happened to run into the hothead at the gym in March."

"Awe! I thought it'd be juicier than that," pinkett pouting in disappointment.

"Don't worry, it's only day one. Thing's are bound to get more interesting between him and I," Free unable to shake the stirring feelings a certain explosive teen drudges up within her.

Not sure if it's the rebellious side of me that likes lighting his short fuse or something else entirely.

"Are you saying you like him? Tell me you do! Please say yes! I love a good high school romance!" Mina walking backwards and quizzing her.

"I wouldn't say like, more so attracted to him. His personality leaves much to be desired... but who knows? Maybe there's a soft center under all that angst and arrogance."

"Ugh! It sounds like true love to me," little hearts appearing from thin air and floating around the acid user, redhead chuckling and stopping the pinkette from taking a tumble down the stairs. Mina using the opportunity to loop her arm through the bug-morphers and brunettes', "we should exchange numbers, whaddya girls think?"

"What a splendid idea. I would very much enjoy partaking in the exchange too," Momo inputting from inbetween Kyoka and Tsuyu.

"Well duh! Didn't we pretty much agree that us girls have to stick together? The boys outnumber us 3 to 1!" Mina all for girl power, the six passing their phones around entering info and posing for contact pictures while on their way out of the building.

As the Texan is handed back her own from Tsuyu, she catches a glimpse of her green-haired companion in the corner of her eye. "I'll text you gals later, okay? I'm gonna go catch up to Midoriya! We're neighbors and he's pretty much my walking GPS," she admits, blowing a few kisses and twisting in the right direction.

"The stations that way too," Ochaco keeping up with the long- legged maroonette and waving goodbye to the others too. "So, you and Deku are neighbors? That's so cool! I can't believe you both made it into the Hero class!"

Deku...? Oh, right! That's what Hothead calls him as an insult… should I correct her or let Izuku?

"To be honest, we haven't known each other long. We met last weekend and he's been stuck with me since."

"But you two seem so close."

"Don't let him hear you say that or his head will fly off," Free only half kidding. "There he is," sunrise eyes landing on the shorter male in mid conversation with the engine Quirk guy.

"Hey! Wait up you two!" The brunette calling out, halting the pair as she practically dragged the other girl by floating her. "It's Tenya Iida and Deku, right?" Iida nods.

"You're the infinity girl."

"Ochaco Uraraka," she said with cheery voice, relasing the redhead from her Quirk.

"And you're Free Hastings, the American exchange student who got into U.A by recommendations."

"Didn't realize I was so famous already," holding her hand out to shake the navy haired teen, who obliged the exchange with pride.

"U-uhm… my name is Izuku," Midoriya voices barely above a whisper, Ochaco tilting her head at him.

"But during the tests earlier, Bakugou called you Deku."

"D-deku is what Kaachan calls me to make fun of me," he says, a slight blush on his freckled cheeks as he avoids direct eye-contact with the cute girl..

Iida humming, "that's unsportsmanlike."

Morpher snorting, "I'd take Deku over Brickhead or Pumpkin face."

Round-faced girl quick to agree, "me too! I actually really like Deku! It'd make a great hero name… plus, it's kinda cute too!"

"Deku it is!" Greenet rapidly declaring, fast to change his outlook on the name now that two pretty girls support it, Tenya gawking.

"Just like that? Weren't you just saying it was an insult?"

"Paradigm shift; my whole world is upside down," only reasoning he can give for his change of heart, both girls a little lost at the meaning. Together, the group of four make their way to the station, happily conversing about what's to come tomorrow and so forth.

All in all, the first day of Hero class is a success for the students 1.A, some already learning a few good lessons. Most however, looking forward to their first official day of classes and more specifically: Hero basic training.
