Hello and welcome, I'm the guy-who-should-focus-on-his-main-fics-even-though-this-is-more-fun and I'm back with what is probably going to be the last one-shot/trailer of this FicFest.
And today I have something a tiny wee bit different because this is going to feature aged up classes A and B as well as a Quirkless Midoriya who can kick your ass on a good day and make your car drive itself off a cliff with the flick of his wrist as well as datamine all your info.

There were many urban legends circling around the streets of Tokyo and each one was more horrendous than the previous one. Haunted houses, cursed apartments, serial murders, killer clowns, cults and suicide streaks to name the most popular ones.
But one stood out from the rest like a sore thumb. Or like a small, flickering ember in the sea of black.
An urban legend that not many heard about and only a selected few believed to be true.
Tokyo's Guardian Angel. A voice that reached out to Heroes all around the city, warning them about dangers they were about to encounter. Dangers that would surely lead to their death.
Mirko never believed this story of course. Especially since she thought herself strong enough to take anything life could throw at her and then some.
It all started with an investigation about a new drug appearing on the streets of Tokyo. A polar opposite of the cursed Trigger. It was codenamed Anti-Trigger for the sake of investigation but they were still trying to come up with a better name.
Mirko, sensing a challenge, was one of the first top Heroes to join the investigation.
She was currently tailing one of the possible buyers of Anti-Trigger, a leader of a small gang that wants to 'graduate' from purse snatching and grocery shop robberies. He had some muscle but Mirko was sure that even at half strength she could break his ribs like matchsticks.
She was following for almost an hour and the temptation to jump down and force him to talk with brute strength grew more and more. Luckily for him, he entered a narrow alleyway in one of the shadier parts of Tokyo and Mirko smirked.
"Finally!", she thought as she readied herself for a fight.
Her concentration was broken however, when her earpiece came to life on its own.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you", a man's voice echoed in her ear.
She immediately tried to locate him, scanning all nearby rooftops for the possible Villain, but ended up finding nothing.
"Don't bother looking for me. You won't find me unless I let you", the speaker crackled once again.
"Come out and face me you coward!", she yelled out in frustration.
To her surprise, instead of boasting with some kind of an intricate plan, the man sighed and she could almost imagine him massaging his temple despite not knowing anything about his appearance. "Thank God not all Heroes are as stubborn as you or I'd have quit this job a long time ago", he groaned out, probably more to himself than to her judging by his lowered voice.
Mirko was confused. And annoyed. Yeah, she was stubborn and she considered it one of her most important traits, so how dare he insult it?! Who the fuck is he anyways? She wondered for a moment, but then it clicked. "Are you the fuckin' Guardian Angel or something?"
He groaned again. "I hate that fucking nickname. But I shouldn't have expected anything better from people who invented 'Anti-Trigger'...", Mirko found herself agreeing about the stupidity of that name, but didn't voice her opinion.
"Now I know who you are, but I don't know what the fuck do you want? You may not know this, but I'm tailing someone that might give me a clue about the main supplier of THAT drug in Tokyo and I was about to go kick some ass!", she put special emphasis on 'that drug' to avoid using its stupid name.
"What you were about to do is commit suicide by bringing a fist to a gunfight", the nerve on this guy! It wouldn't be the first time she faced off against cowards with guns! She was about to give him a piece of her mind, but he beat her to it. "Judging by your fuming expression I guess you are about to say something pretty smug that ends up sounding completely stupid, so shut up and listen. The people below are small fries, buying Reversal in small doses and then diluting it with poisonous substances to create Quirk-suppressing bullets. I know you are strong, I know you have technique and smarts on top of that strength, but you are nothing without your fluffy little Quirk. You take one step towards that ledge and I'm hanging up. I have no intentions of listening to your dying breaths as they pack you full of lead and make you their plaything for the next couple of hours as you bleed out", his voice wasn't exactly angry, but threatening. At least it would sound like that if Mirko didn't start seeing red as soon as he started that little monologue of his.
"I'm nothing without my Quirk?! I'll show you you useless fuck and next I'm going to find you and show you exactly why you shouldn't mess with the sixth strongest Hero in Japan! That's a lot of talk coming from a scaredy little bitch like you! I don't give a fuck if you hang up or not, but I'm going to show you what I'm capable off!", she yelled and got ready to jump down and interrupt the deal below.
"Suit yourself", his voice was oddly calm and it infuriated her even more. She wanted to scream at him some more, but the line went silent as soon as her foot rose off the ground.
Mirko huffed in anger and made a mental note to beat the gangster below extra hard, she had to release all of this pent up negative energy out of her system.
She peered over the ledge and counted about seven targets below. That annoying fuck from a few minutes ago seemed to at least possess some solid intel, because she could easily spot that nearly all Villains were carrying SMGs and one of them had only a pistol strapped to his hip.
"He made a fuss over something like this?! I'll make him pay for underestimating me!", Mirko thought to herself as she jumped down.
She landed on her first opponent and with the help of her armored soles smashed his face into the pavement, breaking his nose and knocking him out in one strike. Not wasting a moment she delivered a front kick to a Villain next to her that was guarding the entrance to the alleyway which sent him flying onto the street before he crashed into a bench.
She turned around and drop-kicked the man that led her here into the van that was probably loaded with drugs and other illegal things. The impact was powerful enough to dent the doors and make the entire vehicle shake.
It was at this moment that the Villains finally caught up to what was going on after their deal was so suddenly and brutally interrupted and opened fire at the Rabbit Hero. Their coordination and accuracy were not exactly impressive and as Mirko vaulted over the van to use it as cover, all they managed to do was put some holes into the backside of their vehicle.
Seconds stretched as they approached the van from sides, fingers placed firmly on the triggers and ready to fire at a moment's notice. They thought they had her cornered, but she quickly proved them wrong as she pounced from the top of the van towards an unprepared shooter in the back. A somersault kick paired with a head stomp ensured that he shared the same fate as the first opponent she dealt with. She was about to jump the other two that had yet to turn around, but she suddenly froze in place.
Boiling hot pain enveloped her body in an instant, making her legs buckle and forcing a shriek out of her mouth. The two Villains she was about to strike turned in her direction and the one on her right, who turned out to have a rhino-like mutation, charged straight at her. Mirko wanted to dodge, but her body just wouldn't move. She stood there helpless as the rhino slammed into her at full speed and sent her flying into the nearby wall.
Her vision faded for a few moments as her entire body burned from the gunshot wounds.
"Their guns were suppressed…", she realized too late. "That's why I didn't hear them coming", though to be fair, there wasn't much she could've done even if she heard it. It's not like she can dodge bullets.
The Villain she kicked into the bench at the start wasn't knocked out by the impact and managed to get a clear shot on her wide open backside. The three surviving Villains approached her with their guns pointed at her head.
"Holy shit, guys, it looks like we've caught ourselves a bunny!", one of them exclaimed with a disgusting grin that was missing a tooth here and there.
"We gotta tie her up before the drug stops working", one of them concluded and headed towards the van.
"Why not just put a bullet in her head and be done with it?", the third one wondered.
"Because I'm no necrophile and she can't moan and cry if she is dead", the first one explained after whacking his comrade over the head.
They started bickering after that, but Mirko was too weak to make sense of their words or to even care at this point.
"I always imagined myself dying in a fight, just not one as pathetic as this… A bunch of dipshit punks that just got lucky…", ending her career with a bang was a dream for her, falling in battle that all of Japan watched with bated breath would have been a great way to go.
Alas, her dream of glorious death will be squished in this dirty alleyway and the blood staining the pavement would be the only thing pointing to her demise. She wondered how long it would take for someone to find her? She was a very popular Pro Hero, but she worked and lived alone. How much time will pass before someone notices her absence? These disturbing thoughts clouded her already fading mind as she laid against the wall, defeated.
Suddenly clarity returned to her full force, making the dulling pain double in intensity and almost making her black out, but she held on. She focused on the whisper that kept her grounded in reality. This faint sound of a soul leaving its body. A soul that wasn't hers.
More whispers soared around her, but she was unable to locate the source. Did the dead simply welcome her to their phantom world? Maybe she was going insane in her last few moments?
The whispers cared not for her state as they just kept on coming at a steady, repeating pace.
And then, just suddenly as they appeared, they vanished and silence enveloped her only to be once again disturbed by hurried tapping.
Mirko found herself staring at two orbs of toxic green that seemed to steal all color from her surroundings.
"- dare die here or I swear I'll kill you!", through the haze she heard someone yell in the distance. Or were they closer and everything was simply muffled? "I told you I have no intention of listening to your dying breath, so don't make me a liar damnit!", what were they talking about? And why did their voice sound familiar?
Something was stabbed into her thigh, but she barely registered it as her body felt more numb than ever before.
"- hold out long enough. C'mon you fluffy-tailed idiot, you better back all of that tough act up right now", she felt her body get jerked upwards and hissed as the pain flared up again. "That's the spirit"
She didn't know what was going to happen to her, but she knew one thing.
She could really use a nap right now.
When Mirko regained consciousness some time ago she immediately noticed the silence that enveloped the surroundings. There was no trace of the usual clatter of a busy city that was ever present in Tokyo, no cars, people or even alley cats.
She groaned as she sat up to check just where the heck she ended up. First thing she saw was concrete. Lots of it. The floor, walls and the ceiling were made out of concrete that had some serious wear and tear to it, with rebars sticking out all over the place and cracks tracing up and down the room. The bed she woke up in was clean at least and smelled really good. Still, she needed to find out where she was taken and then fight her way out, because whoever captured her probably won't let her go so easily.
Mirko went to stand up from the bed only for her right leg to buckle and make her stumble. Fortunately she managed to catch herself before falling to the floor.
"Why are my legs so wobbly?", she wondered as she shuffled over to the door.
Picking outside she saw a poorly lit corridor that stretched quite far both ways. She shrugged and started trudging right. It took her only a few steps to notice the bright red lights on the ceiling that seemed to turn whenever she passed one. Cameras. This meant that her jailer was already aware of her prison break. No element of surprise it seemed. Unless they were understaffed and the one guy who was supposed to be on guard duty today - or was it already tonight? - decided to take a smoke break.
The hallway was lined on both sides with identical doors and after checking a few of them out Mirko decided to ignore them as they seemed to lead to small rooms that were in an even worse condition than the one she woke up in.
The corridor started slowly getting wider until it finally opened into a large room that seemed completely out of place in this ruin. The walls had small cracks here and there, but most of them were repaired. The room was also filled with some seemingly advanced equipment, but what caught her attention the most was the giant screen at the other end of the room.
She made her way over towards it and after a few steps realized that it wasn't one giant screen, but many standard ones attached to the wall. The weird thing was that they all seemed to show the same image. It was a camera feed centered… on her.
"As you've probably noticed I already know you are here, so you can stop trying to sneak up on me", someone in front of her suddenly spoke up, startling her more than what she was used to and making her unable to respond in time. "Maybe that knock-off version of Reversal wasn't as diluted as I might've thought?", this time he seemed to speak more to himself than to her.
"Who the fuck are you?", she really wanted to yell, but she still felt really drained. Unnaturally drained actually. "What the fuck's wrong with me?"
"And here I was thinking that there really was a brain in that bunny-eared head of yours, a simple miscalculation on my part it seems", she didn't know that sounding both annoyed and smug at the same time could sound so well, but he sure was making it work!
"Wait till I get to you and then you can try saying that to my face!", at least she could yell that one out. She immediately felt better after raising her voice.
"How about I make it easier and walk over to you, huh?", he offered and didn't bother to wait for an answer as he stood up from a chair hidden by the glowing screens above and then proceeded to walk towards her.
Tight if a bit dirty jeans, a simple white T-shirt that had 'Work' written on the front and a leather jacket topped off by a black baseball cap was the attire of choice for the green-haired man that now stood in front of Mirko.
Now that she took a good look at the man that captured her she did the first thing she could think of - she kicked him. Or at least tried to.
As soon as her right leg rose off the ground he took a long step towards her as he swung his right hand away from her. It seemed really weird until she felt something really, really fucking hard hit her left calf, throwing her off balance and making her fall on the cold, concrete floor.
"You wanna try that again?", he challenged and she glared at him from below. In his right hand was an expandable baton that seemed ready to strike at a moment's notice.
"The fuck d'you want?", she growled as she tried to stand up, pushing through the burning pain in her left leg.
"I want you out of here as soon as possible so how about you go back to change into the clothes I left for you, then I can check if the Reversal in your veins has cleared and you can be on your merry, fucking way, huh? Sounds good?", now the smugness from earlier was replaced fully by anger. Though most of what he said didn't make sense.
"What's this 'Reversal' thing that he keeps talking about? And why would I need clothes I still have my… hero… suit…", she looked down at her body and noticed that the only thing protecting her modesty right now were some bandages wrapped around her busty upper body and some torn remains of her leotard that looked almost like a Mirko-themed thong.
Her arms immediately shot up to try and cover herself as best as possible whilst her glare intensified tenfold, though a traitorous blush managed to sneak its way onto her face. She prayed to whatever God may be listening right now that the man in front of her didn't notice it. He did.
"A blushing Mirko? Now that's a photo I could get loads of cash for. How about you wait here whilst I go fetch those clothes you've so graciously ignored earlier and then we can talk? No objections? Great, be back in a minute", and with that he speed walked out of the room the same way she came.
Her eyes followed his every step until he vanished in the darkness of a poorly lit hallway and Mirko finally relaxed, letting her body sag on the floor. She forced herself to shuffle towards a nearby pillar to at least have something to lean on and then decided to wait.
It's not like she had much of a choice anyways. This place was probably filled with cameras and she wasn't really in a shape to fight or even run, so staying put seemed like the best option. Besides, she did what she considered to be a prison break, got caught, but was still alive. And the bandages on her body indicated that her wounds were treated. It didn't make much sense, until a stray thought crossed her mind.
"Is he the Guardian Angel?", now that she had some time to mull over this option, it seemed to check out. His voice was a little different in person than over the radio, but the insults were there. "I guess I'll find out when he gets back…", she concluded and continued waiting for the mysterious man that might've been her savior.
And that's it. Before anyone starts yelling, yes it's going to be kind of a enemies to lovers kind of thing, but not exactly since they fight for the same side just with different means.
Also, does anyone else feel like there's two ways of writing relationship about Mirko? There's the usual blunt and stubborn version where she is identical on and off duty and the one that puts a smile on my face where she is so dedicated to her work that she has no other experience with men besides beating the shit out of them and in private is an easy to embarrass virgin. Anyone else or is it just me? Just me? That's fine, I'm used to being the odd one out!
Anyways I hope your Christmass is going well and despite this entire Covid stuff flying around you were able to meet up with at least a part of your family instead of being forced to celebrate alone. That's all from me today, but I do hope to see at least some of you under my other fics that might suit your interest. Have a great day!
