Little spoiler for the future of this series, both the Justice League and the legion of doom will exist in this series and while I've already decided who the leader of the League will be, who do you think the leader of the Legion of doom should be? Lex Luthor, Eobard Thawne or Despero himself.

After dropping his father off at CCPD, Flash found himself once again in an epic battle with the Reverse Flash, both of them constantly switching between chasing each other until finally, it became a classic case of Flash running after the Reverse Flash and this time, he was not going to let Thawne get away as he decided to take page from Thawne's own playbook and and managed to 'split' himself in two, with the copy of him continuing to chase Thawne while Flash took a detour on a side street.

"Too slow Flash." Reverse Flash shouted with glee as he continued running away from his rival, only to find himself on the receiving end of the Flash's fist, just before the other Flash kicked his feet out from under him, causing the Reverse Flash to go flying forwards into a bus bench as he watched the two Flashes merge back into one.

"Not so much fun being on the receiving end of that trick is it?" Flash asked him with a grin as he looked down at his rival.

"Using my own trick against me. I have to give you some credit, that was smart." Reverse Flash admitted as he tried to get to his feet.

"You just couldn't stop could you. Taking my mother and my daughter wasn't enough for you. I finally got my father back and you had to take him from me again." Flash said.

"Well of course. After all, I had to set the timeline back." Reverse Flash said as his nemesis bared down on him.

"Well now you're going to pay for it. You're going to pay for everything you've ever done." Flash said angrily as before Reverse Flash could even move, Flash blasted him with lightning, causing the Reverse Flash to scream in pain.

"Barry, what are you doing?" Cisco asked over the comms.

"Cisco, I know what I'm doing." Flash said.

"Really, because according to these readings, it looks like you're trying to burn Thawne to a crisp, which I understand and honestly kind of support, but that's not what heroes do. It's not who you are." Cisco said.

"Cisco, trust me on this, just see if you can get reading on Thawne's speed levels." Flash said as he continued blasting the Reverse Flash with lightning.

"What, why?" Cisco asked.

"Just do it." Flash said.

"Fine." Cisco said, glad that he'd been able to add some sensors to the Reverse Flash suit before Thawne had been made aware of the changes and when pulled them up, he now understood why Barry was doing what he was doing.

"His speed's dropped to 89%." Cisco said.

"Exactly." Flash said with a grin.

"No." Reverse Flash said as he could feel his speed draining away.

"It's over Thawne. You lost." Flash said with a grin, only to lose it as he saw red electricity surge through Thawne.

"It's not over Flash. Not yet. Not until I say it is." Reverse Flash shouted as suddenly, he triggered a huge red lightning explosion that sent the Flash flying backwards and when the dust cleared, he was gone.

"No." Flash shouted as he slammed his fist in the ground and got up to see people surrounding him before speeding off towards Star Labs.

"I just spoke to Joe, he said that my dad's fine at CCPD, Tina's on her way to see him now." Barry said as he entered the Cortex to find Iris, Cisco, Caitlin, Crystal and Ralph waiting for him.

"Should we talk about the fact that Thawne told your dad your identity?" Iris asked.

"Not until after I talk to him, which I will, but first, I think we need to talk about Thawne." Barry said.

"There's no sign of him. Whatever he did to escape, it shorted out the sensors I installed in his suit back before he got the brain download." Cisco said.

"And no luck finding him on satellite?" Barry asked.

"Thawne no doubt found a way to conceal himself from it, though it doesn't help that even if we manage to fix the satellite, Thawne's speed is likely so depleted that our satellite won't be able to detect it." Caitlin said.

"Cisco, could you get a reading on exactly how much speed he has left?" Barry asked.

"No, he severed the connection before I could get a reading, but the last reading I did get indicated that his speed had dropped below 20%. He's running on fumes now. Literally." Cisco said.

"That means he's trapped here in this time period." Barry said.

"Barry, even with only 20% of his speed left, Thawne can still do a lot of damage." Iris said.

"I know." Barry said.

"But he won't." Ralph said.

"How can you be so sure?" Cisco asked him curiously.

"Because while I may not have the same history with Thawne that the rest of you do, I've heard enough about the bastard to know that while he's many things, an idiot is not one of them and doing something that could attract our attention when he's in such a weak position, that's the definition of idiotic." Ralph said.

"He's right. We may not be able to detect Thawne's speed now, but we will if he uses it and it's not like he can just run to the future, since he doesn't have enough speed to open a portal without us detecting it." Barry said.

"So, even though his connection to the negative speed force is stable, he's still trapped here in our time." Caitlin said and Barry nodded.

"I don't know if his speed will recharge and even if it does, it will take awhile. Which gives us time to find him and stop him before he recovers it." Barry said.

"I'll lock down the time vault and all the components for his time sphere, we can't risk him coming back for it." Cisco said.

"I'll send out a special issue of the Citizen to let the city know about Thawne and how dangerous he is and to be on the lookout." Iris said.

"I'll head back to the precinct, let Joe know and also get Captain Singh to issue an all points bulletin." Ralph said and Barry nodded.

"Good. And look, I know I went kind of rogue tonight, but." Barry said.

"Barry, we get it. Thawne's been in your head more than the rest of us combined and has taken more from you than Zoom, Savitar, DeVoe, both Cicadas and Bloodwork have all together. We don't blame you for it and honestly, we probably would've done the same thing in your position." Caitlin said.

"Totally. But next time, maybe call the person whose powers can actually stop a speedster cold." Crystal said.

"You did not just say that." Cisco said.

"I did, I totally did." Crystal said and Caitlin rolled her eyes.

"Come on, let's get going." Caitlin said as they all headed out.

Thawne just barely managed to stay standing as he came to halt in an alleyway after making his escape from the Flash.

"Gideon, please tell me you're still working." Thawne said as he looked down at his suit, which was torn up in several places, it was similar to what the flash's suit had suffered after punching DeVoe's satellite, since that lightning explosion that been intense.

"Don't worry Professor Thawne, I am still operational, though I am not sure for long." Gideon said as her hologram appeared in his hand.

"What the hell did the Flash do to me? I can feel my speed being weakened." Thawne asked.

"It would appear that the Flash hit with an extremely high dosage of continuous voltage of electricity that overloaded your connection to the negative speed force. Had you not been able to escape, he would've been able to sever your connection to it completely. However, between his drainage on your powers and the energy you used to create the lightning detonation, I estimate that you only have about 10.5% of your speed left and according to my tests, recovery seems unlikely, since your connection to the negative speed force has not just been drained, it's been nearly severed." Gideon said.

"So what you're saying is that I'm even worse than I was before? Every time I use my speed from now on, I'll just come closer to losing it." Thawne said.

"I'm afraid so. The only outcome I can see possibly working would be if you were able to access the machine you used to create the negative speed force in the first place." Gideon said.

"That machine is in the 22nd century and I made sure it was impossible to access. But maybe I don't need to get to that machine. After all, I can just build another one." Thawne said.

"The odds of you successfully doing so on your own before the Flash finds you in your current state are over 3 million to one. They're not in your favor." Gideon said.

"Then I guess I better start looking for help." Thawne said as a new plan began to form in his mind before he walked away, knowing that he couldn't risk running anywhere anytime soon.
