Anamnesis: Antithetical Failsafe
His control over his own body was violated and his very consciousness was slowly being taken over.
Gaignun's hair slowly began to fade back into his normal colour, a deep jet black shade.
His prominent jade eyes flashed back, now completely fazing out his father's pale ones.
The black URTV stood mentally guarded as he prepared himself for another at his father controlling him again.
Gaignun made a last ditch effort to contact Jr. on the other side of the Durandal, in an attempt to warn him for what was come his way in the future.
He was close now - so close to taking back his body.
In resistance, Gaignun's palms grasped against the office desk. His breaths quickly turned into pants, while sweat dripped down his face as he desperately tried to shut out Yuriev's voice.
But it felt impossible. His father's influence was far too great for him to fight against. The black URTV suddenly countered back, refusing to let his father's consciousness flow through him. "I won't easily falter, not against you. Not against anyone."
His father wavered in shock, unable to fathom why Gaignun wasn't fazed at all.
Yuriev could certainly do this again another time. Even if his power had greatly deteriorated, he'd find another way- one way or another.
Gaignun sat up in fright, wide eyed as the light shone in on reality.
Once he'd awoke completely he rubbed the sleep away from his eyes, now staring upward towards the ceiling.
He was shaken from it all.
Confused beyond belief of how Yuriev somehow entered his subconscious.
The person that was able to do that at all, was the likes of Albedo.
Pushing it aside for now, Gaignun went into the bathroom and splashed water on his face to wake himself up a bit more, before wiping off the water droplets that remained on his face.
He stared at his reflection that was depicted in the mirror, a few features of his resembled his father a little to be frank- Gaignun wasn't surprised at all.
After all he was a genetic clone of him, it was a given that he'd at least share a few similarities.
He didn't want to believe that Yuriev was still in fact alive, but he also didn't want Jr. get involved either.
Despite that, always he deeply cared about him, in a heartbeat Gaignun would always be there to support him regardless of the circumstances.
He cherished those days where the two hanged out without worry, without fear.
Sometimes there were a private consolations here and there, any problem at all that plagued Jr.'s mind- Gaignun would always be there for him no matter what.
Even if he'd been taken over by the hands of Yuriev, his precious thoughts and memories would never fade, and his love wouldn't disappear either.
But he was just another comrade destined to die by the hands of death, but now he wasn't afraid of death- not anymore.
