Wow, this one... this is the start of the crazy few episodes that have more chapters then actual episodes because of how I did this. These episodes are changed, warning you about that now, but not all that much. I hope you all like it and, if by some crazy circumstances, I don't finish this arc, then I'm just going to post them anyways. Why? Because I have no idea how long it will take me to post again after this month and I don't like leaving people on a cliff hangar for months on end. Sadly, it does happen sometimes even when I really don't want it to.

Warnings: Scientist curiosity in a bad way. Fear. Pushing down fear. On edge of a panic attack. Yes, this ends in a cliffhanger.

Disclaimer: Never have and never will own Pokemon. Unless I get like... a billion dollars and can buy it out, but that's not going to happen. Autumn is mine.

-Autumn's P.O.V.-

Lillie could touch Pokemon! She wasn't the least bit afraid around any of them! It was amazing! My voice still felt broken, or I would have voiced my joy. Instead I just gave her a huge hug with a beaming smile on my face. When the day was over, I finally spoke, "Professor Kukui?" I asked, pulling out the envelope with the results.

He turned around from cleaning the board, "Is something wrong?" He asked, stopping everyone from leaving.

I shook my head, "No, nothings wrong. I just… Here," I gave him the envelope, "It's the results of the DNA test I took."

"You did what?" Ash asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted to do this alone," I admitted, "And I had no idea how you would react," I turned back to Professor Kukui, "You can tell anyone who it is, I don't care. Kiawe's the only one who knows besides me. I just think you and Ash should know."

It was silent after that as I slowly left the room with Nebby. Since Ash was going to be spending time with Lillie, I decided to take Nebby for the day so he would be able to tell her how he felt. Kiawe was the only one to come after me, "You don't want to be there when they read it?"

I shook my head, "I don't want to see their reactions. To be honest, I don't know why I gave it to them, but I want them to know."

"Well, if you need me, I'm right here," He placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Thank you Kiawe," I smiled, "But I'm probably going to just wait for them at the house."

"Alright, see you tomorrow?"

"Yep! Mind if I come help out tomorrow? If I can?"

"You can come help out anytime you want."

He flew away a moment later, "Alright Nebby," I turned to Nebby in my arms, "Let's go home."

"Home!" Nebby giggled and used Teleport.

I laughed, "Alright Nebby, I'll let you off the hook this one time," I told him happily.

"Autumn," I quickly turned to see Faba on the couch, "How nice of you to join me."

Nebby, being who he was, was already asleep, "What do you want Faba?" I asked, giving Nebby to Riolu who set him on a couch out of the way.

"Just here for a talk," He said and gestured to the couch, "Will you join me?"

"No," I glared a bit, "Roxy, call Rotom. Tell Ash who's here so Lillie can contact her mother."

"Calling!" Roxy called out with a buzz.

"I can't let you do that," He quickly called out Hypno, "Hypno! Use Hypnosis!"

"Eevee! Swift! Riolu, Aura Sphere! Oricorio, Air Cutter!"

"Alakazam! Psychic!"

"Oricorio!" I cried out as she was thrown into a wall, creating a hole in said wall.

"Hypno! Hypnosis!"

"Riolu! Metal Claw!" I was already too late, "Riolu!" I quickly looked her over and noticed that she was just put to sleep.

I was still freaking out, "Autumn!" Eevee called to me, "She'll be alright! We need to protect Nebby!"

I nodded, "Right, we need to protect Nebby."

"You can understand Pokemon?!" Faba yelped.

I glared, "Eevee! Use Tackle!" I finally got a hit on Hypno.

"Alakazam! Psychic!" Eevee was thrown into me, destroying my phone and ripping my backpack off me from Eevee sliding on it.

I wrapped my arms around her tightly, "Are you alright?" She slowly nodded her head.

I sighed in relief and looked up just as Faba said, "Hypno, use Hypnosis," And everything went black a moment later.

I woke up with my hands tied behind my back and my feet tied as well. Eevee was right next to me, "Faba!" I cried out, "What are you doing?"

He just smiled as he closed the box, trapping Nebby inside, "I'm creating an Ultra Wormhole! Then I'll figure out how you can understand Pokemon."

That horrified me, "I won't let you!"

"You won't have a choice," Faba retorted then turned towards his machine.

Complete mistake. I quickly broke my wrist and untied the ropes around my wrists and ankles, "Faba! Let Nebby go!" I cried out and tackled him to the ground.

Nebby flew through the air and Eevee caught him just in time, "How did you get out?!"

"Practice," I stated, pushing him and running to Eevee and Nebby, "Eevee, do you know of any way to get Nebby out?"

Eevee shook her head, "No. I could see scratch working, but I don't know that move."

"Are you alright Nebby?" I asked him.

Nebby sniffed, "Please, get me out!"

"Don't worry Nebby, I'll do my best," I turned to see Faba getting up, "Eevee! Use Charm!" I called out just as Faba let Hypno out.

He could clearly see my fear, "Oh, so you don't like Hypno," He observed, "Hypno! Use Hypnosis!"

Hypno didn't do anything, Charm having taken effect, "Eevee! Use Quick Attack to gain speed, then use Tackle before Charm wears off!"

Eevee started running around Hypno, confusing it a bit more before it hit Hypno head on, "Don't you want to know why you can understand Pokemon?" Faba asked, "Why are they attracted to you? Yes, I saw you in the school yard surrounded by Pokemon. They all gravitate towards you. Don't you want to know why?"

I glared, "I don't care how or why I am the way I am," I stated, "I just want to help people and Pokemon," I showed him Nebby, still trapped, "And this isn't the way to do it! Eevee, use Swift!"

"Physic!" Faba cried out.

Hypno won that round, "Eevee!" I quickly ran to her side, still holding Nebby, "Are you alright?"

Eevee lifted her head slightly and smiled, "Thank you," She mumbled, then started to glow blue.

My eyes widened, temporarily forgetting about what was happening. Eevee's legs grew longer and she gained ribbons on her head and neck with a bow on her neck and left ear. When the glow died down Eevee was transformed into a Sylveon, but instead of pink, it was a light red, "Rose," I smiled, "You evolved!"

She blinked, "I-I did!" She got up and stood in front of me with confidence, "Now, let's save Nebby!" She cried out.

I beamed, "Alright!" I turned back to Faba with a lot more confidence, but the memories still flooded my mind whenever I saw Hypno, "Sylveon! Use Swift!"

The attack landed perfectly and Faba was finally tired of it, "Alakazam! Use Physic!" He called out.

All of us were stuck, "I won't let you get away with hurting Nebby!" I struggled against the hold and was able to slowly move.

Faba glared, "Hypno! Use Psychic!" I was completely frozen as Faba took Nebby from my arms, "Make sure they can't move," And we were in the air.

I still struggled, "Faba! Don't do this!" My fear was nearly overwhelming, but Nebby needed help before I could do anything about it.

Faba ignored me and started up the machine, "OW!" Nebby cried out as it started, "It hurts!"

Faba smirked, "Yes! Keep doing what you're doing!" I was crying because of the pain Faba was putting Nebby through, I felt like I was feeling it instead! Although, I can't deny that I was crying because of my fear as well, "I want you to radiate even more! More Ultra Aura!"

He was way too happy about this, "Faba! You're seriously hurting Nebby! Stop!"

"And how do you know?" He asked, looking at me, but his attention was quickly back on the machine and Nebby, "Good! Very good! Just a little bit more!"

"Autumn!" Ash cried out as he, Gladion, Lillie and Lusamine ran into the area.

Lusamine gasped, "What have you done?!"

"Lusamine!" Faba smiled, most likely thinking that he wasn't going to get into any kind of trouble, "What a pleasant surprise!"

"He's trying to open an Ultra Wormhole!" I interrupted him, "You need to get Nebby out of there!" Sylveon was able to wrap one of her feeler-like ribbons around my wrist, trying to comfort me.

"What about you?" Ash looked ready to punch Faba in the face.

"Worry about Nebby first!" I countered, "I'll be fine!" Everyone in the room could tell that I really wouldn't be.

It also made me wonder where Riolu was. I really hoped she was alright, "Shut that down, now!" Lusamine cried out.

Ash just jumped up and tackled him out of the way, "How dare you!" Faba cried out.

"Look, it's Nebby!" Lillie pointed to where he was.

"Nebby!" Ash's attention was quickly on the box as he tried to open it, but got thrown back.

We were almost too late, "Yes!" Faba cried, triumphantly, "It's an Ultra Wormhole!"

"Turn that off now!" Lusamine tried once more to reason with him.

Faba was completely confused, "Why would I do that? This is exactly what you wanted!"

"I never wanted this!" Lusamine rejected, "Are you trying to put Lillie in danger again?"

I knew that look in her eyes. Everyone better watch out because she's going to protect her children, no matter what, "Pikachu!" I called out, "Use Iron Tail on the box Nebbys in! It should release him," I paused from the pain for a moment, "Making the machine shut down!"

"We need to get it away from the machine first," Gladion realized, "Umbreon! Shadow Ball! Go!"

Nebby was free moments later and Faba was shocked, "Alright, Pikachu, use Quick Attack!" Ash called out next, clearly wanting me away from Faba.

I agreed, though, "Umbreon, Shadow Ball once more!" Gladion joined in.

Once the moves hit, Psychic was stopped and we fell through the air. Well, until Sylveon used the move Telekinesis. We landed on the ground without further injury, "Thank you Sylveon," I smiled at her as she wrapped her ribbon around my still broken wrist, giving me a bit more support.

"Autumn!" Ash crashed into me with a hug, but quickly let go to check me for injuries, "Are you hurt? He didn't do anything to you right?"

"I'm fine," I reassured him, but we both knew that wasn't true, "Where's Riolu?"

"She's at home with the Professor getting healed. She still hasn't woken up," Now that was worrying, "Did Eevee evolve?"

I smiled, "Yep! I don't know how she did it, but she evolved."

"Nebby's fine," Lillie added, coming over with Nebby, "A bit tired, but otherwise seems fine."

Nebby twirled into the air, giggling before turning blue, "What's happening?" Ash asked, shocked.

I frowned, "Is Nebby evolving?!"

Sadly our attention was quickly diverted to the machine Faba used as it powered up once more, creating a stable wormhole. Nebby was now much smaller and in a cocoon-like thing as we stared at the Ultra Wormhole, "Something's coming out of it!" Ash observed.

Once it was in full view, Lillie screamed, "Lillie!" Lusamine quickly held her protectively.

"Isn't that?!" Gladion asked, shocked.

"Yes!" Faba sounded way too happy about what was going on, "It's UB-01 Symbiont!" Lusamine looked at it in amazement until Faba brought her back, "Well, Lusamine?" He asked. Lusamine just glared at him, "Don't forget, I'm the one who fulfilled your dream! I'm the one who's succeeded in summoning forth an Ultra Beast!" Lusamine looked ready to punch him, "Observe its beauty and magnificent splendor."

"Somethings not right," I mumbled quietly, not liking how the Ultra Beast was feeling.

"Stop it, Faba!" Lusamine told him, "Open your eyes!"

Faba ignored her, "I've waited four long years. I've thought of little else but you!"

In return, the Ultra Beast slapped him away, "Clefable!" Lusamine cried out, "Dazzling Gleam!"

That's when it became clear, "The Ultra Beast is feeding off of our life force!" I cried out, shocked.

"What?" Everyone asked me, also shocked.

"Any attack we send it's way has to be long range attacks," I stated, "No short range."

"Clefable, return!" Lusamine quickly called Clefable back.

Gladion quickly took charge as the Ultra Beast used Double Team, "Mother, take care of Lillie! All right, Silvally! Use Air Slash!"

All of the copies were destroyed, but the Ultra Beast wasn't done as it showed a move that pushed Silvally into Gladion and they both ended up crashing into the railing, "Gladion!" Lillie, Lusamine and I screamed.

Ash quickly turned back to the battle, "Quick, Pikachu! Thunderbolt, let's go!"

"Sylveon, Swift!" I joined in, deciding that I needed to get rid of the threat before checking Gladion for the bruises he most definitely has.

Neither move did much, "Pikachu!" Ash cried out and caught him before Pikachu hit the ground. Sylveon landed on her feet near them.

I wasn't paying much attention to that. I was watching as the Ultra Beast headed towards the family that seemed to just be healing from scars created long ago, "Look," Gladion stood in front of both Lillie and Lusamine, "If you want to take her, you'll have to go through me!"

The Ultra Beast chose to go after him instead, but it didn't get him. Lusamine pushed him out of the way just before the Ultra Beast took him, "No!" I cried out and quickly grabbed onto Lusamine's ankle, trying to pull her back. I was not letting Lillie and Gladion to lose their mother (even if it was temporary).

The Ultra Beast didn't exactly like that and hit my already broken wrist (that was holding onto a railing and the only thing keeping us from going into the Wormhole). I let go and cried out in pain, being taken with Lusamine through the Ultra Wormhole, by accident, "Autumn!" Ash cried out.

"Mother!" Gladion was right with him, trying to get us down.

I just smiled, "Take care of everyone for me Ash," I told him just before we were through the wormhole. Everything went dark.
