Why is this being posted? Because there's been like... three comments in just two days! Comments honestly scare me, but make me so happy and excited at the same time! So, I'm posting this as a thank you for commenting. Also, cemented a huge life decision for me and trying not to get so emotional that I just go numb for days. It sucks when it happens so I try to avoid it. So, enjoy this chapter!
Now, the comments: Yes, police work is being done, I'm just not writing about it because of two reasons. One: I completely forgot about it and just immediately thought of it happening in the background since they won't find him yet. Two: I'm not entirely sure how an investigation would go and I'm not entirely sure how to write it out. The only time I've had experience with this thing was when my sister was asked to stay home incase they had to ask her some questions about her seeing someone getting hurt. So... my experience is lacking (which is actually a good thing) but I'm also very lacking in the romance department. The only two dates I've been on happened five years ago. Although... I'm probably going to add a chapter about this now because now I'm thinking of it. Let's see if I can do it justice!
Warmings: Talking about Kalos Crisis which happens at the end of Pokemon XYZ so... very little spoilers if you haven't seen it... actually, no spoilers. Very little talk about panic attacks and causes.
Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon. Autumn is mine.
-Autumn's P.O.V.-
I was running late again. I just kept on getting caught up in making the bracelets that I kept on forgetting, "We need to change your alarm," Sylveon told me.
Riolu nodded, "We're going to miss the entire day!"
"Please don't tell me that!" I pleaded, running onto school grounds, "Sorry!" I called out, sliding to a stop next to my friends, Professor Kukui and someone I've never seen before, "I promise, I didn't mean to be late today."
"Working on another project?" Kiawe asked.
I nodded, "I just couldn't find a good time to stop. Although, next time, I'm just going to bring it with me so I can learn and create!"
That's when the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, "That'll be all for today," Kukui announced.
I groaned and fell onto the ground, "Don't worry!" Ash beamed, "I'll tell you everything that happened!"
"Thanks," I still didn't get up until I realized there was a group of girls screaming from the balcony, "Why are they screaming?" I asked, sitting up.
"They're screaming for Ilima," Mallow answered.
"He graduated from the Pokemon School," Kiawe finished.
"What a popular person," Lillie muttered.
We all nodded, still a bit shocked at it, "Ilima's special," Lana explained as they all put their things away.
"So special!" Sophocles pointed out, "He's known as the Pokemon School Prince!"
"A Prince?" Lillie asked, "Amazing!"
"It sure is!" Mallow smiled, "There are so many legends about Ilima you can't keep track of them all! Supposedly the smartest student our school has ever produced, Ilima graduated in no time."
"And then, Ilima became an exchange student in the Kalos region just to keep studying," Sophocles continued.
"Legend also says Ilima won half the trophies in the principal's office!" Kiawe added.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah?" Ash asked at the same time.
"There's even a fan club," Mallow said, "So many people brought birthday presents that Officer Jenny had to direct traffic!"
"Ilima brought a wilted flower back to full bloom and jumped down from the top of the tree next to the school!" These legend stories were getting to be a bit crazy, "And is so beloved by Pokemon that Komala opened its eyes to get a look!"
Both Lillie and Ash believed that last one, "It opened its eyes?" Lillie asked.
"Awesome!" Ash beamed.
"We have to record this data!" Roxy exclaimed.
"It's the discovery of the century!" Rotom finished.
"Wow! I want to see this!" Ash was totally pumped.
"So do I!" Rotom was also pumped.
"Dream on," Mallow told Ash, "I'm sure Ilima's too busy."
That did nothing to curb Ash's excitement, "Wow! I wonder if Komala's eyes look like a Whismurs!"
"Or Kaomala's eyes might look like a Mudbrays!" Rotom added
"I guess it's possible for Komala to have Jugglypuff's sparkly eyes," Lillie suggested.
"That would be cool, too!" Ash wasn't letting anything dim his excitement.
"I want to see those eyes so bad!" Everyone agreed.
I just sighed, "Komala never open their eyes. They sleep their entire life time," I told them, but most of them already knew, "But if you want to know the truth, why not ask Ilima?"
"Great idea!" Ash beamed, "Where were they going?"
"They went to see Principal Oak!" Sophocles answered.
"Let's go!" Lana cheered with all of them running towards Principal Oaks office.
I ran after them, but only got there once Ilima agreed, "Sure," He agreed.
Ash beamed, "I'm Ash and this is Pikachu!"
Ilima smiled and held his hand out, "It's a pleasure to meet you. This is my partner, Eevee."
Sylveon beamed and kept tugging at my arm, "Introduce me please! It's been so long since I've met another Eevee!"
"I'm Mallow," Mallow introduced everyone else, "And this is Sophocles, Lana, Lillie, Kiawe and Autumn!"
"It's nice to meet you," Ilima nodded.
Sylveon, who was tired of waiting, started pushing through them to get to the front, "Sylveon," I pulled her back, "Patience," I told her, then turned to Ilima, "Sylveon really wants to meet Eevee if you wouldn't mind," I smiled.
Ilima just smiled and put Eeveen on the ground, "Eevee likes making new friends," He admitted, then looked at Winter, "Although I've never seen a Pokemon like that before."
"That's because Winter is one of a kind," Kiawe answered.
Winter peaked an eye open, then curled up tighter, "She's a bit shy around new people," I admitted.
"What kind of Pokemon is it?" Ilima asked as Ash led the way to the bell tower.
"Jangmo-o," Lillie answered, "Autumn fixed the crack in her egg and she hatched into a white Jangmo-o, who's an Ice and Dragon type."
"Interesting," Ilima smiled, "I didn't know a crack in a Pokemon egg could have that effect."
"It usually doesn't," I agreed, "But we think it's because she was left on Mount Lanakila during a snowstorm, causing snow to gather in her egg and change her type," I explained, "But we don't actually know the reason why."
"Hopefully no one does research on it," Sophocles added, "We shouldn't put Pokemon in danger just to know more."
"If they do then they'll feel Autumn's wrath," Lana smiled.
I rolled my eyes, "Come on Lana, I'm not that bad."
They just laughed, "You literally keep stopping Ash and Kiawes battles because one of their Pokemon get hurt."
I pouted, "I'm not that bad. I actually just take care of them once the battles are over."
"Now you do," Ash pointed out, "You used to stop us whenever one of us got a hit in!"
"I'm getting better," I mumbled, "Besides! I still don't like seeing Pokemon hurt!"
"Neither do we," Riolu muttered as well, "It's painful when we are."
"How are we supposed to get up to the bell tower?" Sophocles asked, "The only way up is the ramp and it's too steep to walk on."
"There's a ladder leading up!" Mallow answered, taking the lead, "It's hidden so I can understand why not many people know about it."
I was the only one not disappointed when Komala didn't open his eyes, "Is it true that Komala opened his eyes for you?" I asked Ilima when it didn't happen as we walked down the stairs to the ramp.
Ilima laughed, "No. Did you hear that somewhere?"
"We've heard a lot of stories about you," Lillie admitted, "We were wondering if this one was true."
"Oh my. I had no idea there were stories about me," Ilima admitted.
"So, you can see why we were curious," Ash admitted for the class.
Ilima smiled, "Legends tend to take on lives of their own."
"What about Komala?" Roxy asked.
"I'm afraid it was sleeping the whole time," Ilima admitted.
Rotom and Roxy were clearly disappointed, "I did think jumping from the top of the school tree was weird," Sophocles admitted, "It's hard to believe, don't you think?"
"The thing is," Ilima pointed out, "It's actually half true."
"You're kidding me!" Sophocles freaked out.
That's how we learned about the Pokemon diving board. I opted out of it since none of my Pokemon wanted to do it. I took care of my Pokemon at the bottom of the tree instead, combing and just cleaning them until they shined. I joined them just before Ilima and Ash were going to battle, "Come on Ash and Pikachu!" I yelled, "Show them how it's done!"
Ash turned red, "Maybe you should calm down a bit," Kiawe suggested, "This is a friendly battle."
I beamed, "I know. I'm just cheering for him! I do it for you and Ash whenever you two battle!" Both of them knew it because I cheered both of them on since I couldn't decide who to cheer on more.
Ilima just laughed, but before the battle could start, a group of Team Skull grunts drove in, "We're having a battle," Ilima explained quietly, "You need to get off the battlefield right now. Whatever you want, we can talk about it later."
"Dude's as pretentious as you said!" The brown haired guy said.
"Talk about snooty vibes!" Pink haired girl agreed.
"I think this is the perfect time to talk right now," The blue haired guy stated.
Despite Ilima taking his glory days, they all lost the battle against Ilima and Eevee. Sylveon gripped my arm a bit tighter when Eevee got hit, but calmed down quickly. She even helped Eevee with its Z-Move. That was one of the coolest Z-Moves I've ever seen, "Are you alright Sylveon?" I asked her as she came over to join me.
She just beamed, "It was amazing! I didn't know I could even do that!"
I chuckled, "You can probably only do that with the Z-Move, but it was amazing to watch."
That's when Eevee came over to us to play with the Pokemon, "Maybe we can battle tomorrow!" Ash beamed, super excited to know someone just like him and Pikachu.
I tried to look Eevee over inconspicuously, but failed miserably, "Ilima, would it be alright if Autumn looked Eevee over for any injuries?" Lillie asked for me.
I blushed in embarrassment, "Only if you don't mind," I reassured him, "But Eevee did get hit a few times."
Ilima just smiled, "You may," I didn't wait any longer and quickly picked Eevee up, after giving Winter to Kiawe, and looked her over for injuries, "That was quick."
I could tell Ash was smiling, "She's the fastest healer besides Nurse Joy! But she's the best!"
Mallow nudged him, "You're just saying that because she's your sister."
Ash groaned, "We're not actually siblings! We just think of each other that way!"
"We know," Kiawe answered, "But that's just saying that your siblings."
I smiled and stood up after giving Eevee a berry, "No battling for an hour and Eevee will be at full health again."
"How did you learn all this?" Ilima asked as he picked Eevee up.
"I had a lot of time on my hands," I answered vaguely, "So, I learned a lot. Anything I could really."
"How long have you been on a Pokemon Journey?"
"A few months, but I've had Riolu with me ever since I was fiveish. It's really hard to remember that time of my life."
"Why don't we all go eat at my family's restaurant?!" Mallow suggested, "Then we can get to know each other better!"
"Let's go!" Sophocles cheered, "It's free food!"
When we finally got there and got our food, Ilima was telling us about Kalos and Shalour City, "I was about to challenge Korrina again, but she and her Lucario gained the ability to Mega Evolve."
Ash beamed, "Yeah, she's a tough opponent, but we beat her! I know you'll be able to do it, Ilima! Just keep training!"
"All that training got him second in the Kalos League last year," I smiled.
Ilima stared at us as Ash laughed, "I wouldn't have gotten that far if you didn't come cheer me on!"
"You didn't even know I was coming until the night before," I reminded him, "You got that far because of your Pokemon and your skills."
"My goodness," Ilima whispered, gaining all of our attention, "You're Ash Ketchum and Autumn."
We nodded, "Yeah," Ash answered slowly, "Why?"
"It's an honor to meet you two," Ilima answered.
We looked at each other, then back at Ilima, "Why?" I asked.
"The Kalos Crisis," Ilima answered, "You saved my life," Now he was looking right at me, "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here."
Riolu quickly hopped onto the table and growled at Ilima, but I quickly pulled her back, "It's alright Riolu," I told her, calming her down while still holding Winter on my lap. Then I looked back up and smiled, "You're welcome," I told him, ignoring Ash's worried looks (especially since whenever I think of Kalos, I usually get a panic attack because of Lysander), "I'm sorry I don't remember you."
Ilima smiled, "It's alright. You helped a lot of people that day. A lot of people want to thank you for what you did. It only grew when your songs came out."
The others were curious, "What did Autumn do?" Kiawe asked.
"She healed hundreds of people," Ilima answered, "The Luminous Hospital was being overrun, but Autumn came and started helping everyone. I arrived when a doctor was repriming her for helping, but Ash and three others stepped in to help."
"A doctor did what?!" Lillie exclaimed, shocked.
"Why would a doctor reprime her for helping?!" Sophocles asked.
Kiawe didn't answer because he was steaming, "I can't believe they told her to stop," Lana whispered, also mad but able to hide it, "Shouldn't they be happy she's helping?"
"He apologized later," Ash admitted, "He'd been having a hard time outside of work and since Autumn looked a lot like his aunt or something, he just snapped."
"I do remember that she had on gloves though," Ilima continued, "She never took them off."
"I can't touch others," I told him, answering his unasked question, "With the gloves, I'm able to touch people who need help."
"I'm sorry," Ilima looked truly sorry, unlike most people, "I hope you'll be able to get past it."
"She already is!" Ash beamed, "She can touch everyone in our class, Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet! It's amazing!"
"Hopefully you'll be able to touch people freely soon," Ilima said.
I suddenly understood why so many girls like him now, but there's still one guy that I like.
