Author's Note: This is pretty much just a filler. I struggled more than I like with this. I'm still figuring out where I want to take this and how far it will go. Hopefully it doesn't suck too bad.

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" Sara asked as she ran her fingers along his bare chest while they lay in bed.

"I don't care, as long as it's healthy." Grissom replied, kissing her forehead.

"I think I want a boy." Sara looked up at him. "With your blue eyes and curly hair."

"Boy or girl, our child will be loved beyond measure." Grissom cupped her cheek, kissing her.

"I just want our baby to have the childhood I never had." Sara snuggled into his side. "To always know love and safety."

"You're going to be an amazing mother, Sara." Grissom looked into her eyes. "You're so strong. You love with everything you have. Our baby is so lucky to have you and so am I. There is no one else on this earth that I would want for the mother of my child."

Sara put her arm around his neck and pulled him on top of her, bringing his mouth to hers. Grissom responded, slipping his tongue in her mouth when she opened for him. He pulled back and looked into her eyes.

"I love you, Sara. I have always loved you and I will love you for the rest of my life." Grissom's blue eyes met her brown ones.

"I love you, Gil." Sara moaned as he slowly pushed into her, never taking his eyes from hers as he joined their bodies.

Grissom jerked awake at the sound of knocking. Running his hand down his face, it took him a few moments to remember that he was on the couch in his office.

"Come in." He called as he sat up.

"You okay?" Catherine said as she entered his office with Nick behind her.

"How long have I been asleep?" Grissom rubbed his eyes.

"About three hours." Catherine replied as she sat down.

"Any updates?" Grissom looked between them anxiously.

"Ecklie and Greg are almost done processing the car." Nick answered, leaning against the door. "They found a few things of interest."

"What about Archie?" Grissom asked, running a hand through his unruly hair. "Has he gotten anywhere with the video?"

"He's managed to pull a few background noises but he's still trying to isolate them." Catherine looked at him.

"What did Ecklie and Greg find in Sara's car?" Grissom stood up, grabbing his glasses from his desk.

"A few fibers. Some hair that's probably Sara's. Also, blood in the trunk." Nick looked at his boss.

Grissom nodded, his jaw clenching. He expected as much, with the state he saw Sara in on the video. He just wasn't prepared to actually have it confirmed.

"We're also trying to see if we can get anything from the car's Lojack." Catherine supplied.

Grissom sighed, putting his face in his hands. He kept telling himself that there had to be something. They were missing something that would lead them to Sara.

"There has to be something we're missing." Grissom spoke to no one in particular. "Lurie isn't smarter than all of us."

"If there's anything, Griss, we'll find it." Nick spoke up.

"He got sloppy!" Greg came running into the room with an evidence bag, Warrick right behind him. "Our guy didn't clean up too good this time!"

"What is it, Greg?" Grissom looked up at the younger man.

"I found paint chips in the driver's side of Lurie's car." Greg said excitedly.

"If we can match the exact color, we can possibly narrow down the supplier and where it was used." Warrick replied.

"Get it to Trace, now." Grissom ordered.

"On it!" Greg turned and ran out of the room.

"Unless he's moved her again, we know he's keeping Sara in some sort of residence based on the layout of the room from the video." Grissom started pacing his office.

"It has to be somewhere he's familiar with." Nick said. "He's got her chained to damn a wall. He didn't just stumble upon an empty house somewhere. He planned ahead."

"I want an extensive background history on Lurie." Grissom looked at each member of his team. "I want a list of his financials, property records, DMV records, cell records. Anything you can find, I want it. Call Brass and let him know what you need."

"Gil." Catherine started. "You know you can't…"

"This is my wife, Catherine." Grissom spoke sharply, cutting her off. "The mother of my unborn child. I will do whatever I have to do to find her."

"You know Ecklie isn't going to let you touch anything, Griss." Nick stated.

"I will deal with Conrad." Grissom replied before leaving his office.

Grissom took off down the hallway, heading straight for Ecklie's office. The criminalist in him knew that he couldn't work the case but the husband in him knew that he would do whatever it took to get Sara, his Sara back. He walked through Ecklie's door without knocking.

"Gil." Ecklie looked up from his seat behind his desk. "How are you holding up?"

"My wife is missing." Grissom replied. "How do you think I am, Conrad?"

"Gil, we're doing everything we can." Ecklie looked at him.

"Listen, Conrad. I have ordered my guys to pull any and everything they can on Vincent Lurie." Grissom told him.

"Now, Gil, you are well aware that you cannot work this case." Ecklie said heatedly. "It's a conflict of interest."

"She is my wife!" Grissom yelled. "I don't give a damn about your rules, Conrad. I am going to do whatever I have to do in order to bring Sara home."

Ecklie and Grissom stared at each other. Grissom was prepared to sacrifice his job if it came down to it. Nothing was more important to him than Sara and their child.

"Fine." Ecklie finally spoke. "But anything you find must be ran through me first before any action is taken. We do this by the book."

"Thank you, Conrad." Grissom nodded before leaving Ecklie's office.

Grissom found his team waiting for him in the break room. He knew that each and every one of them would do whatever they could to find Sara. They were waiting anxiously for his lead.

"Ecklie gave us the go ahead." Grissom told them. "Any evidence we find has to be ran through him first before we can follow up on anything."

They all nodded in understanding before leaving the break room, each one of them hoping beyond hope that they could find something that would lead them to Sara.
