There's something I want to tell you, I'll be saving the Mummy Trolls, Werewolf Trolls, and Vampire Trolls for last. Because I've some good ideas for them. Anyway, time to introduce a new Monster Troll called Scarecrow Trolls. There's also a certain Scarecrow Troll that makes him unique from the others.
Scarecrow Fields
"Time to harvest some SCARES!"
Dexter and Daphne lead the Trolls to a field, where there were crops and a lot of pumpkins. Then, Cooper noticed a Scarecrow next to a pumpkin patch.
"Hey, guys look at this." Cooper said as the Trolls followed him as they saw the Scarecrow.
"What is that?" Smidge asked.
"It's a Scarecrow, we Country Trolls have them to scare birds away so they don't eat our crops." Delta explained.
"You got that right." The Scarecrow said as the Trolls screamed except for Dub Skull (Voiced by John DiMaggio).
"Did that Scarecrow just talk?" Barb asked.
"Of course I did. I'm Scarecrow." Scarecrow said.
"Nice to meet you Scarecrow. So you're a Scarecrow Troll?" Dub Skull asked.
"Yep. Hi, Dexter and Daphne, what brings you here?" Scarecrow asked.
"We're just taking these Trolls a tour around Halloween Town." Dexter explained.
"Are there other Trolls like you around here?" Delta asked.
"Of course, there's a lot of Scarecrow Trolls out in this field. Follow me." Scarecrow said as he got off the stick holding him on his back as he lead the Trolls and Halloween Siblings deeper into the field.
As the Trolls and Halloween Siblings follow Scarecrow through the field, they stopped as they saw a group of Scarecrow Troll's harvesting and planting crops.
"Woah, that's a lot of Scarecrow Trolls." Cooper said.
"Yeah, we Scarecrow Trolls harvest and plant pumpkins every Halloween." Scarecrow explained.
"Reminds me of Lonesome Flats. We Country Trolls also plant and harvest plants." Delta said.
"Cool, but we don't just scare crows. We also like scaring Trolls like other Halloween Trolls." Scarecrow explained.
"He's right, Scarecrow Trolls are almost like dead bodies and they walk like Zombie Trolls to look and act scary." Dexter explained.
"They're also fireproof, so they could light themselves on fire to scare Trolls." Daphne said.
"But there's something that makes me unique from the other Scarecrow Trolls." Scarecrow said.
"Really, what's that?" Dub Skull asked.
"Follow me." Scarecrow said as he walked away as the Halloween Siblings and the Trolls follow him.
The Trolls and Halloween Siblings followed Scarecrow to an old abandoned laboratory. When they got inside, they saw beakers, test tubes, and some chemistry sets.
"You see, what makes me unique is that I'm also a professor who uses a variety of psychological tactics to use fears and phobias on our enemies. I even do some research to further study the effects of fear on non-Halloween Trolls and other creatures." Scarecrow explained as he head towards the table and took out a triangle becker filled with yellow gas.
"What's that?" Queen Essence asked.
"This is my fear gas. When inhaled, it causes non-Halloween Trolls to suddenly be afraid of anything, even if it's not really scary. If it's injected into your bloodstream in your sleep, it makes you see your worst fear. It can also terror-induced heart attacks." Scarecrow explained as he showed him his fear gas.
"How powerful is your fear gas?" King Quincy asked.
"Powerful enough that even the most strong-willed minds can be affected." Scarecrow said.
This impressed and freaked out some of the Trolls.
"Wow, does Halloween Spirit know about this?" Poppy said.
"Of course, he liked my work and would use my fear gas if we were ever attacked. And because I bring fears to non-Halloween Trolls with my fear gas, I'm known as...THE MASTER OF FEAR!" Scarecrow said as he started cackling.
"Cool, I'm known as the master of fear in Techno Reef." Dub Skull said to Scarecrow.
"Really? Hmm, maybe we could be partners someday, what do you think?" Scarecrow asked.
"Tech yeah, I would love to see how your fear gas works." Dub Skull said.
"Come on, I'll show you." Scarecrow said as he walked towards a dark room as the Trolls and Halloween Siblings follow him.
As the Trolls and Halloween Siblings entered the dark room as Scarecrow turned on the lights. They saw a brown Bi-plane with 2 missiles filled with fear gas on the bottom, one missile on each wing filled with fear gas, and some kind of scary amusement park. They saw sprayers, gas tanks, shot needles, gas bombs, and test tubes filled with fear gas.
"This is where I put all of my equipment, where I put my fear gas into different varieties. Heck, I even built this plane." Scarecrow said as he showed the Trolls his plane.
"Scarecrow was able to install his fear gas into the missiles, so our enemies will get scared once the missiles hit them." Dexter explained.
"What's with the scary amusement park?" Riff asked as he pointed at the amusement park.
"This is where Scarecrow tests his fear gas on Trolls." Daphne explained.
"So far, the only ones who are immune are the Halloween Trolls, Great Halloween Spirit, and especially me. It's obvious that I'm immune since I created the fear gas." Scarecrow explained.
"Hey, Scarecrow, why don't you show the Six Tribes how your fear gas works?" Dexter asked.
"Of course. Who'd like to be my test subjects?" Scarecrow asked.
"I'll do it." Branch said.
"Me too." Barb said.
"Me three y'all." Delta said.
"Ok then. Let's get started." Scarecrow said.
Branch, Barb, and Delta were on top of a booth that was high up.
"Are sure this is safe?" Biggie asked.
"Oh sure, I've done this all the time. I have lots of experience with these tests. Time to release the fear gas." Scarecrow said as he pulled down the lever as a mechanical arm carrying a sprayer came towards Branch, Barb, and Delta, and sprayed the fear gas on them as it covered them in a yellow fog.
As the fog cleared, Branch, Barb, and Delta were coughing after inhaling the fear gas. When they opened their eyes and looked down, they huddled together shaking with a look of fear on their faces.
"Look how high up we are!" Barb yelled in a scared tone.
"I'm suddenly afraid of heights!" Branch yelled in a scared tone.
Branch, Barb, and Delta fell from a trap door and on a mini Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel started spinning them very fast as they were screaming in fright and were launched out of their carts. They landed on a free-fall ride as they were elevated high from the ground with scared expressions and started screaming when they dropped down at a fast pace. They were in a haunted house as they were running away cowardly from a small wind-up robot toy. Branch, Barb, and Delta were tied up over a pile of hay on fire as they screamed in fright. Branch and Barb were scared when they saw mirrors that had a hypnotic spiral with a smiling mouth laughing as they looked away. While Delta was running away cowardly from the same wind-up robot toy that chased them. Finally, they were on a rollercoaster ride as they screamed in fear. Once they got to the end of the ride, the cart launched them down to the ground as they felt dizzy. This made the Trolls a little scared seeing how Scarecrow's fear gas made the bravest Trolls as scared as little kids.
"And this is what happens to Trolls who are affected by my fear gas." Scarecrow said.
"Wow, I've never seen Branch scared that easily before." Poppy said with a little fear of not wanting to get sprayed with Scarecrow's fear gas.
"How long does the fear gas wear off?" Queen Essence asked.
"The fear gas I used on them will wear in a few seconds. But the fear gas I use on our enemies lasts for 12 hours." Scarecrow explained.
"Wow, that's a long time." Biggie said.
"Hey, why don't you try your fear gas on me?" Dub Skull asked.
"Ok, I always like testing Trolls on their fears and phobias." Scarecrow said as he took out a spray-can filled with fear gas.
Scarecrow sprayed his fear gas at Dub Skull as he inhaled the gas. As the fog cleared up, he saw that he was surrounded by wind-up robot toys.
"Cool, I've always wanted a wind-up toy." Dub Skull said as he picked up one of the wind-up robot toys.
The Trolls were shocked that Dub Skull wasn't affected by the fear gas.
"It seems that your love for scaring Trolls and for being the Master of Fear makes you immune from my fear gas." Scarecrow said as he wrote it down in his notebook.
"I certainly wasn't expecting that." Trollex said.
"Hey, Scarecrow, can I take some of your fear gas back home with me?" Dub Skull asked.
"Sure you can, but just be careful not to use it too many times." Scarecrow said.
"Ok, thanks." Dub Skull said.
"Come on, let's get going." Daphne said as she and Dexter walk out of the lab.
"Don't worry about your friends. They'll be fine, but they'll still remember what happened while they were under the fear gas." Scarecrow explained.
"Thanks for the reminder, hope we'll see you again." Poppy said as they walked out of the lab with Branch, Barb, and Delta.
"Bye." Scarecrow said as he waved goodbye with Dub Skull carrying a box full of test tubes filled with fear gas.
So, what do you think? Sorry if I kept you waiting too long, I've been focusing more on school since I'm a senior now. I've thought about doing Scarecrow Trolls since Scarecrows are part of Halloween. The scary amusement park is the same one from Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Gotham City Breakout. Scarecrow's Bi-plane is the same one from Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Gotham City Breakout. I thought the fear would go well since this is Halloween Town and everything, everyone, and everywhere in Halloween Town is scary. Since Purple-Eyes Dragon says that Dub Skull is the master of fear, it's obvious why Dub Skull was immune to the fear gas. From what I've heard, everyone is afraid of something. Please Review.
