It's my favourite day of the week! Fuck It Friday! Hope you enjoy the chapter this week! Thanks for all the amazing feedback, it makes my day.

I'm having issues with the formatting of this coming straight from my laptop for some reason, so if something is wrong or doesnt make sense I apologise, I've gone through it but may have miussed something where two sentances merged together again for some reason?

"Thanks for this Lyla, if Juice went on his own there's no telling what I'd have here," Bella said the next day as she took a bag off her friend. Lyla had been to get some of Bella's clothes on her way to the clubhouse while Bella had laid passed out on one of the sofas.

"No problem, how are you feeling? You look okay?" Lyla said as the two women were using Chib's room to shower and change. They'd be told that they'd only be there another day or so until things could go back to normal, but Bella had no desire to go without showering for the day.

"Okay, it burns a bit, but other than that fine," Bella said honestly.

"I can't believe you got shot again! You're like a danger magnet or something!" Lyla said as she went to do her makeup in Chib's tiny mirror.

"I've heard that one before," Bella muttered as she slid her boots on.

"Okay, all ready, how do I look?" The porn star asked Bella, coming out of Chibs bathroom.

"Stunning as always," Bella said with a smile.

"You look pretty too," Lyla said and Bella just shrugged. She knew that she looked plain and average, it didn't bother her too much. She was the way she was and she couldn't change that without playing Bella Barbie again and she was done with that. "You do, Bella sweetie, you're beautiful. I wish you'd believe me. I don't lie to you."

"Come on, we better help make breakfast for the hungry horde," Bella said, ignoring her friend's words and locking Chib's door behind them.

Bella looked around the mass of people crammed into the clubhouse. It was full with kids, women and men, most of whom she had never met. Catching sight of Chibs she headed over to give him his key back. He was talking to a burly man who looked like he should be a biker but wasn't wearing a kutte.

"Thank you for that," Bella said, handing the man his key back.

"Welcome lass," Chibs smiled at her then pressed a kiss to her forehead before she walked away, a small blush on her face. She was starting to get used to the way Chibs greeted her and said goodbye though. It was nice, comforting even.

Bella was going around collecting empty mugs when the air in the clubhouse seemed to shift slightly. She looked up from her task worried, before she saw him.

A deep angry frown was plastered on his face and his eyes burnt a dark onyx, but she couldn't help her smile as he stormed over to her. She noticed how everyone moved out of his way and how most people refused to meet his eyes. Putting the mugs she had collected back down Bella waited for him to reach her, her heart fluttering.

He stood in front of her, his eyes looking her over from top to bottom. He seemed to lighten slightly at what he found before his forehead was rested against hers. His calloused hands were either side of her face, cupping her softly as his dark almost black eyes met her brown.

"Hey," Bella said, her voice breathless.

"You okay? Hurt?" Happy asked her quietly.

"I'm okay," Bella replied, as her heart started a furious rhythm in her chest.

"Good," Happy replied, his eyes still holding hers. Her breath caught as his thumbs stroked her cheeks, his lips inches from hers. She wanted to kiss him. She wanted to take that step. "Had me worried."

Gathering all of her courage she raised herself onto her tiptoes and gently brushed her lips against his. She pulled away and looked into his eyes, her cheeks flushing as she worried she had gone too far. That worry only lasted a second as his lips were back on hers gently prying her open to his tongue and his teeth that he used to nibble her bottom lip. She wrapped her arms around his neck as her knees shook.

Bella had never been kissed like that in her life. There was real passion, real fire in his kiss. A burning desire that she was afraid would take her whole.

After a moment they pulled apart. She bit her swollen bottom lip as she realized all eyes were on them.

Happy smiled at her, genuinely smiled before he dropped his hands and instead took one of hers from around his neck and squeezed it gently. "Got to talk to Clay girly, but I'll be back for you," he rasped.

"Is that like, I'll be back in California soon?" Bella giggled at him.

"Smart ass," he chuckled at her. "Go on, git. I'll be there."

She picked the mugs back up and went to the kitchen, unable to hold in her smile. He had kissed her back. And what a kiss. That was the kiss that every other kiss should be measured against. She had imagined the fire, but she had also imagined his kisses to be fierce and demanding, not gentle and giving.

"What was that?" Lyla almost shrieked as Bella walked into the kitchen. Gemma was also looking over expectantly.

"What?" Bella asked innocently, still smiling.

"Don't play that with me!" Lyla scolded but was smiling almost as wide as Bella was. "He's the one you've been talking to almost every night right?"

"Yeah," Bella grinned, she didn't think anything could bring her down right then.

"Wow! Doesn't he scare you?" Lyla asked. "He always scares me. He looks like he's about ready to beat you to death."

"No, Happy doesn't scare me," Bella rolled her eyes. All you had to do was read his mood through his eyes, they were open, they showed that he wasn't as hard as he came across. Bella amended that in her head, he probably was if you crossed him, but not once had he ever given her reason to be afraid of him. Even the couple of times she'd obviously pissed him off back in Forks. She knew, she could see it in his eyes, he wouldn't raise a hand against her.

"You're brave," Lyla said.

"No I'm not. Happy's not a monster Lyla!" Bella said, annoyed. She wondered if it ever bothered him, people thinking of him like that. "Believe me, I've met monsters," she added, thinking of James and Victoria. Hell even Edwards and the Cullens had their moments. Sighing she turned to leave the kitchen, she shouldn't have to defend Happy. Not here of all places. Not to people who were supposed to be part of the family.

Bella was surprised at the reception she got when she went back to work out front. People who had previously been ignoring her were passing her the plates she was clearing up, nods were sent her way as well. She guessed it had to do with Happy and the kiss they had shared. She ignored it, she would have preferred earning respect by her own merit even if it would have taken longer.

She was exiting the kitchen again to do another sweep when Happy caught her wrist and tugged her outside. Bella glanced at his face, wondering what that was about. He looked annoyed. At her for once.

"What's wrong?" Bella asked, when they hit the slightly cooler air of the forecourt.

"You said you were okay," Happy said, his voice tight.

"I am," Bella replied, she felt perfectly fine. Sure she might have had nightmares all night, she might feel too sick to eat properly as the guilt gnawed at the pit of her stomach, but she was okay. She'd get past this.

"You got shot. Again," Happy said, folding his arms as his eyes focused on her.

"Oh, yeah, it's fine, barely a scratch. I didn't even realize it had happened. I thought that the glass had got my back," Bella explained herself.

"You get shot, that's something I wanna know, alright?" Happy said sternly. Bella wasn't sure whether to be annoyed or not, on one hand it sounded like he was dictating what she had to do and not do and she would not put up with that for a second time, on the other hand it was sweet. Then she thought, would she want to know if Happy was shot? Even if it was just a graze? Of course she would, even if they were just starting something, she wanted to know if he was hurt.

"Alright, same though," Bella said, trying to smile.

"Sure thing Spitfire, I get shot, I'll let you know," Happy said, shaking his head but with a small smirk playing on his lips. "Gonna let me see it?"

"Erm… I have to take my shirt off for that," Bella said anxiously, half of her dying to do just that, the other half worried and nervous.

"Hmm," Happy said, his eyes sweeping her torso and settling on her breasts, his tongue licked at his lower lip. "Maybe soon then."

"I think I'll cash in on that promise of being taken out first," Bella giggled even as she burnt on the inside.

"Will you now?"

"Going back on your word Happy?" Bella asked with raised eyebrows as she smiled at the serious looking man.

"Not to you girly. I'll take you out alright," Happy smirked, taking her hand and tuggin her forward. Her stomach swooped as his lips were back on hers. His fingers on her hips pulled her closer to him as she wrapped her hands around his muscled forearms. She kissed him back with all of the passion she felt, with all of the feelings that had been building these past few months. This was better than her wildest dreams.
"Sorry to interrupt brother, real sorry, but Clay wants ya," Bobby's voice cut through the moment.
"Okay," Happy said, his breathing heavier than usual as Bella panted. "Later girly."

Bella watched as he walked away, or more like strutted away. She was done for. Over the last few weeks, talking daily, they'd formed a connection that went beyond the lust she had felt for Happy from the start, with him there now… Damn, she was done for.

"You're going to watch me walk away like that to sweetness?" Bobby chuckled, breaking her out of her daze.

"Yeah, put a little jaunt in it for me Bobby," Bella said with a giggle. She laughed harder as the man did just that, swinging his hips as he walked away.

Happy sat in chapel listening to his brothers discuss the Niners issue.

"We've always done good business with the Niners. Why shoot up Tig?" Bobby was the one to question the hit.

"Didn't like his face?" Piney suggested with a wheezy laugh.

"Screw you old man," Tig shot back. His arm was in a sling and he looked like shit warmed up.

"What about Bella?" Jax asked the table thoughtfully.

Happy sat further forward in his chair. "What about her?" He asked.

"Could have been her they were looking to hit?" Jax said.

"She doesn't have anything to do with club business," Piney said pointedly, something Happy frowned on. He had missed something here, something to do with his Spitfire. And she was his. The day she had sent the video of herself throwing the wrench at the prospect she was his. He'd not had road pussy since. He was blue balling fierce but he wasn't screwing it up. She was his and he was hers. She just had to get on the same page as he was and he didn't think he'd have to wait for long after that reunion.

"Think about it," Jax said before lighting a cigarette. "We're getting along with the Mayans, even discussing selling to Brown. Why?"

"How do they know though?" Clay asked, his fingers trailing over his chin thoughtfully.

"They were the ones shooting at the kid," Jax put out there.

"So what, they think we break off the alliance if they kill Bella?" Juice asked his fingers drumming across the top of the table.

"No one said they were smart," Jax shrugged. "Why don't we set up a meeting with the Niners, ask Leroy about this."
"I'm not going into a potential war until we have backup," Clay declared firmly.

"Nomads and Tacoma are on their way," Happy said. That would give them ten more bodies if this was a war.

"Alright, we wait for them to get here and then we set it up. Until then Bells doesn't go anywhere alone," Clay said seriously before he broke into a grin. "Think we might have found a candidate for bodyguard though. Are congratulations in order brother?"

Happy smirked as Clay fixed him with a look. "I'm working on it," he nodded knowing he was asking if he was going to make Bella his Old Lady.

"Alright then," Clay nodded, still smiling as others patted Happy on the shoulder. "Hap, stay behind for me. You too Jax."
Happy nodded his acceptance as the others left the room.

"So, you serious about this?" Clay asked as the room was empty of everyone but him, Happy and the VP.

"Already had the talk with her dad, don't need another lecture," Happy folded his arms as he chewed on a toothpick.

"You misunderstand me brother. Just answer the question," Clay said.

Happy thought. Damn straight he was serious. He wanted her in his room when he woke up, listening to her chat shit in her sleep. He wanted to hear her call his name for real, to see her come undone around him. Have her make cookies and shit while he got dinner on. He wanted to get back from a run and have her waiting with open arms and legs. Happy wanted to hear her giggle at something he said and watch her face light up in a smile whenever she saw him. Happy wanted Bella, he always got what he wanted, sometimes it just took a bit more work is all.

"I'm serious," Happy nodded once.

"I'm happy for you brother. She's one of the best," Jax grinned at Happy.

"If we get this Niner shit sorted, there's a Conclave that you need to be at next week then," Clay said and Happy reared back. The Conclaves were for the President's of the charters only. They met for one of two things only. Deciding on a President's fate if he fucked up enough or to change the clubs bylaws. Happy shouldn't even know one was happening unless Quinn told him, let alone be invited. He'd be told afterwards if someone was to meet Mr Mayhem and only then if they wanted it done a specific way.

"Why?"

"Just be there. I'll tell Quinn," Clay said, refusing to say anymore.

It obviously had to do with Bella, and judging by the way the club acted towards her it was nothing to do with Mr Mayhem. Plus they wouldn't be inviting him if it were. Knowingly or not Bella was his and he wouldn't let anyone touch her. Not even his brothers.

Happy nodded to Clay then stood. He needed to find his cigarettes, find his girl, and get some sleep. He'd hauled ass to get there after that phone call. He hadn't ever felt like that before as he sped down the highway. Sure he'd worried about brothers, about his ma and his aunt. But never about a chick. He'd actually been worried about her and if that didn't tell him he was fucked, he didn't know what did.

Happy walked out and looked around the crowded clubhouse trying to spot the brunette that had lived rent free in his head for months now.

"She's sleeping on a couch over there," a blonde Happy recognised from Caracara but had thankfully not fucked before pointed to one of the crappy sofas in the back. The blonde looked afraid of him, something he was more than a little used to. Hell he revealed in it usually, ate that shit up.

"Thanks," Happy nodded at the woman and made his way over to where Bella was passed out on the sofa. She was laid out on her front one hand in a fist by her face as her long brown hair draped around her. She was still cute as fuck.
Happy frowned at her. She shouldn't be sleeping on a sofa after being shot the day before, it wouldn't help much with her healing, he should know, he had more than a few bullet scars. He looked around for Gemma, she was normally in charge of dorms and shit.

"Here Hap!" Happy turned to look at Juice who had chucked something at him. Automatically Happy caught it, a set of keys. "You're in your usual room."

"Thanks," Happy nodded.

He picked Bella up, being careful not to jar her back too bad or wake her up. She still weighed next to nothing. As he walked to the dorm he used when in Charming normally Happy reflected at the fact he'd never slept next to a woman without sex being involved. And then only when he passed out before he could kick them out. This would be a first for him. Bella would give him hell when she woke up and saw she was in his bed but he thought keeping her back from getting further jacked was worth it.

Happy had to turn away as he laid the little Spitfire down on his bed. Seeing her like that, her hair sprawled across his pillows and after those kisses earlier he was hard as fuck. He groaned, maybe he should have thought this through better. Or maybe he should crash on a sofa, wouldn't be the worst place he'd slept by far.

Sighing Happy went to take a shower before he crashed. A cold one.

Bella woke up feeling refreshed and relaxed, no nightmares had plagued her that she could remember and soft sunlight was coming through the window. She looked around. This was not the bar area she had fallen asleep in. She was in a dorm room, in a bed. Carefully she went to sit up but was stopped by a warm arm around her.

"Still early. Sleep girly," Happy muttered, his eyes closed. She gasped not expecting her pillow to be Happy's firm, muscled chest.

"How did I end up here?" Bella asked, her heart was beating rapidly. His naked body was under her head. She worried that she had done something she wouldn't remember, she hadn't held onto her virginity just to lose it in a drunken fling, no matter how much she liked Happy. She wanted to remember that experience.

"I carried you. Sofas no good," he said, his voice muffled from sleep.

"We didn't… I mean… I didn't…?" Bella asked, hoping he'd get her meaning.

"You were passed out," Happy reiterated for her and she relaxed, glad to know that she hadn't done anything she may regret later.

"Okay. Thanks then," Bella said, laying her head back down on his chest, her heart still hammered and nerves wracked her.
"Tell me what's up then sleep," Happy grunted at her, a small frown appearing on his face. Not once had his eyes opened.

"It's erm, just, I've never done this before," Bella admitted quietly. The guys would end up telling him anyway, it was a point of amusement for them all. Assholes.

"What slept? Yeah, you have," Happy disagreed with a smirk.

"You're going to be the smart ass from now on, you know that right?" Bella said, shaking her head a little. "I've never been with anyone before. So I don't… I mean if you're expecting-"

"Not expecting anything other than a couple hours more sleep girly. We can talk then if you must," Happy said, his arm tightening around her briefly.

"Okay," Bella said softly, feeling a little lighter at that. She pressed her lips to his bare skin before closing her eyes again. The steady rhythm of his heart under her cheek lulled her back to sleep in no time. She didn't see the small smile that played across Happy's lips. She didn't feel his free hand stroking her hair, but she smiled in her sleep and snuggled up closer to him.

She woke up a bit later knowing exactly where she was. She felt herself blush even as she tried to stop it from happening. Opening her eyes she turned her head to see Happy awake and looking at her.

"Hey," she said, biting her lip.

"Hey. We cool or you need to chat?" Happy asked her, straight to the point as usual.

"Again with the talking Happy," Bella giggled at him.

"Again with being a smart ass," Happy pursed his lips but his eyes shone with amusement. "Seriously though, you need to talk about this? Put your mind at ease?"

"Like I said, I've never done this before," Bella said looking down at the sheets, her face burning as she shifted under the covers. She knew he had been with porn stars, what could she possibly offer him. Why was he interested in her?

"Hey girly," Happy rasped, lifting her head with a soft touch, her eyes meeting his. "We can take this at your pace. I'm not gonna pressure you into anything."

"I know that," Bella said honestly, that hadn't even crossed her mind. He wasn't like that at all. "That's not a worry. I… what is this? Are we dating? Is this just something for while you are in town?"

"Is that what you want?" He asked her the frown for real.

"Oh no, I asked first buddy," Bella said, trying not to smile at him in vain.

"I want you girly. Want you to be mine, you're true to me, I'll be true to you," Happy said, his eyes were burning again. They stared into her as though he could see into her soul, as though he could actually read her mind.

"And if I'm yours, then you're mine?" Bella asked her mouth dry, her heart fluttering so fast in her chest she was surprised it wasn't visible.

"Yeah girly, all yours," he said, his hands going to her waist and pulling her flush against him. She could feel how much this excited him through the thin material of his boxers. Nerves pounded her again.

Happy kissed her with a delicious passion that she was sure was going to bruise her lips and she kissed back with all the raw need she was feeling. It was clumsy and fast and soon her hands were tracing a path on his chest, mapping him out by touch. His hands drifted up her body, stopping just short of her breasts. Her back arched, desperate for him to touch her. She wanted those big, calloused hands on her body but she didn't know how to tell him.

Happy broke the kiss and started nipping at her neck as his hands slowly went higher. Palming her through her top and making her let out a low wanton groan that had her blushing.

"Fuck, your tits are a perfect handful," Happy rasped into her shoulder as he kneaded them. Her hips bucked unconsciously as through the material of her top his thumbs dragged over her nipples.

Happy found his way back to her lips as her hands went to his broad muscled back, her nails dragging lightly over his skin. His hands went under her shirt and tailed a scorching path along her stomach and higher.

"This good girly?" He asked quietly, stopping before he reached where she wanted him, just under her bra.

"Don't stop, please," Bella said, her voice breathy and more desperate than she would have liked. She needed more though. Needed his touch.

Happy kissed her hard once more as his hands reached her bra covered breasts, he swallowed her moans and gasps. His hands gentle yet firm and oh, so good.

"You like this top?" Happy asked, his voice strained.

"What? Erm, I guess," Bella couldn't concentrate properly. His lips and hands and sinful body distracting her.

"Then I'll get you a new one," he growled before taking her top in his hands and ripping it down the center. Bella's heart jumped, her legs rubbing together for something. For friction or just something.

Happy kissed her neck, down her shoulder, his tongue caressing the newly scarred bullet wound that was on her shoulder before his head dipped lower. Bella looked down to see him peel her bra down with his teeth and hissed at the sight and feel.

As soon as his tongue lathed her nipple she was gone. Her hands reaching out to any part of him she could touch as she moaned his name out loud. Nothing had ever felt this good. His mouth was on one of her breasts and a hand on the other, his name kept falling from her lips, she couldn't control it. Something was building in her, some force, something that wanted to burst but she just couldn't reach it.

Happy kissed and licked his way slowly back up to her body and her mouth. He kissed her sweetly, gently but still with need.

"Gonna have to stop there girly or I'm gonna fuck you right now. I'm gonna take you out before we get that far. Do this right," he whispered into her ear, his body hovering above hers. Bella couldn't speak, her hands reached for his face as she placed a chaste kiss on his lips.

"I'm gonna get a cold shower. You can grab one of my shirts," he said before kissing her again, this time playfully. A smirk on his face. "Your tits really are perfect you know."

"Thanks," Bella said shyly, her lip between her teeth again as she felt her face flush in embarrassment.

"Fucking adorable," he chuckled pressing his lips hard to hers before he got off the bed with a pained moan. Unashamedly she watched him walk into the bathroom, her eyes mapping out the tattoos on his back and his legs as well as the hard, coiled muscles. With a shaky laugh and smiling Bella collapsed back on the bed.

After listening to the shower for a moment and trying not to think too hard about how Happy was naked just a door away Bella sat up to find a shirt. She couldn't see a bag so she checked the small chest of drawers. Finding a handful of t-shirts she grabbed the first one off the top. Pulling it on she blushed. She would have to get her clothes. Happy's shirt almost came to her knees and made it very clear that they'd been… doing stuff.

She felt awkward for a moment. Was she supposed to wait for Happy, or go out into the clubhouse? Deciding she'd rather face any teasing with him rather than without she straightened the sheets on the bed and sat back down.

She wasn't waiting long before Happy came out of the bathroom with just a towel slung low on his hips. Bella's breath caught in her throat at the sight of him. He was all man. The only other man she'd seen even remotely like that had been Edward and he was a boy, a perpetually seventeen year old boy. Happy though, he was a man, a real man. Just looking at him made her tingle all over.

"Like what you see?" Happy smirked at her and laughed when she blushed. "Fucking adorable," he repeated himself from earlier. "You look good in my shirt girly."

"You look good in a towel," Bella said, then instantly felt mortified. Still, she wasn't lying and it got another laugh from the stoic man.

He got some clothes from the drawers and went back into the bathroom. Bella put her head in her hands. Why did she have to be so awkward? Maybe she could get tips on how not to be so her from Lyla?

Happy came back from the bathroom fully dressed. He lit a cigarette and started arming himself. First was a gun at his hip, then on his opposite hip a knife, a smaller knife went around his ankle and a second gun around his other ankle.

"You expecting a war?" Bella asked.

"Nah, there'd be more if I were," Happy replied with a smile. "You got yours?"

"Piney got rid of mine," Bella said, the weight of what she had done settling on her shoulders again.

"Why?"

"I… I shot a man with it. He's… I shot him in the neck," Bella said quietly while looking at her hands.

"Shit girly, why didn't you say?" Happy asked, sitting next to her on the bed and kissing her head as he wrapped an arm around her waist.

"I don't know. I killed a man. Kind of hard to bring up in conversation," Bella couldn't look at him.

"You need to talk or something?" Happy asked her quietly.

"No, it's done. I did it. It's over," Bella said, desperately wanting that to be true.

"Nah, it's not over. But it will be. You'll feel better soon. Can always talk to me girly, always," Happy said, his hand slowly stroking her side. She realized he knew. They probably all knew. How it felt to take a life. That guilt even knowing you wouldn't do anything different if faced with the same choice. That aching guilt that burnt and gnawed away at something she was pretty sure was her soul.

"Thanks," she whispered as she lay her head on his shoulder for a moment.

"Let's get some food," Happy suggested standing up and taking her hand to pull her up next to him. He kept hold of her hand as they walked into the clubhouse, entwining their fingers together.

The room was a hive of activity as women ran around getting their kids and men breakfast, while the men chatted, smoked and slapped the women's asses.

"Guess I better go help," Bella said as Happy was walking over to a table, his hand still firmly wrapped around hers.

"Nah, you sit, I got this," Happy said firmly pointing at a free chair.

"But-"

"I got it girly," he said with more force to his words.

"Looks like Happy got some dyke pussy!"

Bella and Happy turned to see the prospect behind them. He had a shit eating grin on his face but his eyes were flaming with anger as he looked at Bella.

Happy took a long drag of his cigarette before stepping forward grabbing the prospect's arm and stubbing it out viciously on the now squealing man.

"Talk about my girl like that again, the next one goes out in your eye," Happy said with a savage smile. The room around them grew silent as everyone watched. The prospect nodded while whimpering. "Take a seat Spitfire, I'll get breakfast."
Bella did as Happy said and sat at the table with Jax, Clay and Gemma.

"Morning baby girl, sleep well?" Gemma asked as if nothing had happened.

"Yes thank you, did you?" Bella asked, feeling her face heat up unsurprisingly.

"Yeah, just fine baby," Gemma nodded as Jax started chuckling and shaking his head.

"Nothing phases you, does it Bells?" Jax asked with a smirk.

"Huh?"

"You just watched Happy burn the shit out of the prospect and you're sitting making polite chit chat as the killer makes your breakfast. You've either got balls of steel or you're cracked. I'm leaning towards cracked myself," Jax said, still laughing as he lit up a cigarette.

"I've got to be cracked hanging around you," Bella shot back with her own laugh and stuck her tongue out.
