= place: Terra Nova system; 2165 years =

In the system with the Terra Nova colony, Wargames took place, testing new components and crew members. On one side a Battle-flotilla, led by a dreadnought, on the other a Patrol-Flotilla. However, these Patrol-Flotilla ships had 2 advantages that the Battle-Flotilla ships did not. The first advantage was the use of Battle Meditation by Ichlings, the second was a new technological breakthrough that allowed the firing of 800 kg slugs, effectively doubling the firepower of the ships, compared to previous models.

On top of that, however, the Patrol-Flotilla was commanded by Commodore Hackett, a newly appointed and very young officer who had previously demonstrated his skills in actions against pirates. His leadership, combined with the superior technology of his ships, allowed him to achieve victory.

However, this was not just plain Wargames, the shipyards at Terra Nove had built the first warship larger than a frigate. New Bem-class destroyer, named Tecumseh. It was the next step to enlarge the SA fleet, improve their shipbuilding capabilities, and further preparations for the meeting with the Galactic Empire.

= place: Elysium system; 2166 years =

Another important year for System Alliance. As the previous year bore fruit in the first large shipyard for shipbuilding and significant technological advances, this year, the Elysium colony exceeded 20 million inhabitants, the first colony to achieve this and another symbol of the System Alliance's progress. But the highlight was the community of 20,000 Ichlings that flourished here. Proof that the two races can live together.

This year, in New Caamas, the Caamasi population had surpassed 50,000. The Navy System Alliance reached 720 warships, with a full 3rd fleet, with all 160 Genowa-class ships being returned to the Mothball shipyard, or resold to private individuals. The first ship of this class, Genova, was sent to the newly created Fleet-museum on Earth's moon, where many other spacecraft from the past 200 years, and future ships, will make a great attraction to the visiters.

= place: Arcturus Station; 2167 years =

"You have served under me for many years, but a new Era is coming for humanity and our new allies." - Grissom began his speech - "I won't be keeping you here for long, but I want to thank everyone here for their support and help in laying the foundations of our navy, providing security and humanitarian aid to many colonies. The Old Era I grew up in, as well as a large number of our officer cadre, were divided into smaller nations, the United Nations, then there was the first form of the System Alliance, and eventually transforming it into a state. I have no doubt that without our friends from Caamas it would not have been possible, and the Ichlings have already saved hundreds of thousands, and maybe even millions, by sharing medical technology with us. Now is the time for my successor to take my place and lead the System Alliance into a new future. Admiral Kastanie Drescher."

And there was applause as Admiral Dresher stepped onto the podium - "Thank you, Jon. I really don't know what to say. Although I've been thinking about it since you surprised me with this information 4 years ago. You were not in a hurry."

The crowd laughed along with Grissom, then Dresher continued.

"When I joined System Alliance, we had 40 ships, now over 800, and as the new Commander in Chief, I can't promise anything other than a continuation of what we've already started."

At the same time, the GARDIAN Nodes[1] have been successfully tested and are starting to be implemented in place of the standard GARDIAN Turrets. This significantly increased the effectiveness of the already extremely effective Point Defense.
