"So the Rebel Alliance to Restore the Republic has been officially announced." - said the new president.

"Not only that, but our Rebel sources make clear plans for some major military operation against the Empire." - Dresher said - "We don't know the scale yet, or what exactly they will plan, but we can already see how the first Sector has rebelled, and it's been successful."

"Which?"

"Mon Cala's sector, although they haven't announced it yet, and only removed Empire's presence from their sector. Our people also confirm that they started retooling their ships for combat. If the pace continues, the defensive forces of some 40 Capital Ships and 20 times as many escorts will already be considerable, within a year, the number of escorts will double, and the number of Capital Ships will even increase by 160 more. While of course, they will be mostly armored civilian ships, Mon Cal's ship shields are some of the best in the galaxy. "The new Ezzo anti-gravity disks have been fitted with the latest equipment. All you need is a belt and armor on the forearms and legs, and with a little 'force', our people will be able to fly, like in legends." - the scientist said a bit excitedly.

"I understand that the progress with the other projects was similar?"

"Unfortunately not." - answered the scientist a bit sadly - "The amount of Ezzo needed to generate the barrier is simply too large to be considered effective. It is similar to personal energy shields. We are just too small to do this, and even then it probably wouldn't help much. However, the design will improve our lightsabers and their variations are now over." = As he said this, he walked over to a nearby lightsaber. - "Our biggest concern is that the blade will be too short to actually cut through the armor. "Then why won't the Empire do anything about it?" - asked the president - "Somehow I don't see another shipyard actively sending ships to the Rebels. Destroying it should deal them a crushing blow."

"We found a possible reason." - Admiral Dresher said. - "It seems the Emperor is secretly diverting vast amounts of resources and money to an unknown location, for an unknown reason. We don't know the exact quantities, but this is at least the value of all our ships, fighters, tanks, shipyards and satellites. And I mean all the installations made in the last 200 years, even including everything civil. And that is the minimum amount. In fact, it may be several times more."

"But such amounts are useless for anything practical." - said the President.

"Our people came up with the most likely idea of what it could be." - said Admiral Kohaku - "Given the relative inactivity of the Imperial fleet due to the secession of Mon Cal, and the number of raw materials and money transported, it is likely some kind of super-weapon that, when completed, will be so powerful that it will massacre Mon Calamari as an example to the whole Galaxies."

"The Empire has done such acts many times before, so that's the most likely explanation." - Dresher said.

"Are our new nuclear weapons ready?" - the President asked.

"Yes, but only 12 Nova-bombs. It is simply extremely difficult to create a weapon that is so destructive." - Admiral Kohaku said.

"If war ever breaks out, I want us to have at least twice as many warheads as they have of these super-weapons, and the super-weapons themselves are to be prioritized." - said the President.

Medi-gel - The idea of the creation of Medi-Gel came to the minds of scientists when they heard about Bacta. It is much less effective, and can only be used on wounds, not to literally anything, like Bacta, but it's much cheaper and easier to apply. The use of Medi-Gel increases the predicted survival rate of soldiers by 30%-40% and is cheap enough to produce to redistribute to civilian areas.

Nova-bomb - is the most powerful nuclear bomb built in the known galaxy. It has a power of 800 Mt, which is enough to completely annihilate the planet's ecosystem if it is detonated in the right place. There are also smaller versions with a strength of 250 Mt, 100 Mt, and 10 Mt.
