Everything seemed normal for our favorite never aging ten-year-old, taking down a tyrant of a man from demolishing a whole city, losing the Kalos league oh and running into a time-traveling Dialga that wants to reset the world after what happened that day when he met Ho-Oh! Why does this sound like a bad idea? And why are girls other than Serena flirting with him!

Sometimes Ash wished that things were not as simple as they were right now, you know, other than getting every gym badge and participating in the league whenever he felt like adventuring, which was every other year, hang out with old friends and maybe meet some new ones along the way and maybe MAYBE run into team rocket and have a bit of fun sending them sky high on occasion but right here right now he kinda missed the intriguing motives of Jessie, James, and Meowth of team rocket instead of these psychopathic whack jobs he has been running into!

Lysander's plans to destroy the world were, and he would hate to admit this because of the fact that he had seen better, very lacking in terms of effectiveness. Well either way he was proud of it and Ash was kinda ok with that but the plan itself was never as well thought out as any of team rockets plans in his opinion where 100% of them did not involve him and his team getting murdered brutally by a raging Zygarde trying to find assimilate with its other half… which was currently either trying to save him or kill him.

Either way, Ash was not going to sit around pinned to the wall thanks to Lysander's Marimar and sit down and die! No no not happening, thanks to his bond with Greninja and Pikachew he could tell that they were faking being knocked out by the Psychic-type pokemon and the others were just recovering from the experience of getting slammed into the wall with a psychic type move, so things were going according to… plan as it were. And oh boy was he ready, he was slowly inching his way out of the hold while Greninja who was reading Ash's mind was moving more and more out of the steel bar hold that was holding him down listening to the madman talk.

But I believe that now is the time to intervene!

"Ah, how fitting! The clock tower chimes at your death! Now then Ash M. Ketchem! Any last words as you and your pokemon die witnessing the creation of Lysander's new world!" Xerosic said with a maniacal laugh that shook the tower

"Yea I have a few... Maybe you should try harder to hold the one to stop you captive next time!" Said Ash as he pushed off the wall behind him and jumped on the Malimar below him, dropping his team in the process.

"Wait a second, a bell tower?" Lysander chimed in realization, "There is no clocktower in Lumiose city… oh my god! XEROSIC GET OUT OF HERE!"
