Tears of sweat and blood dripped down Peter Parker's face. It had been unlike him to cry, but as he felt his insides slowly tearing into each other, the tears flowed instinctively, coursing down his pale face, and down his bloody suit.

The battle raged on in the foreground, but all that mattered to the main avengers was Peter. The stupid innocent kid they had met not all that long ago. Now that kid was a huge part of their lives. The little brother that many of them didn't have. The kid that some of them had learned to love. And now that kid was suffering, and the only way to help him was by hurting him even more.

"Pete? Peter? Peter, can you hear me?" Tony asked his kid, as he saw the haziness in Peter's eyes. The kid looked deathly pale, and his body shivered icy cold.

"Pete? Pete? Can you look at me Pete?" Tony begged Peter.

Peter's eyes slowly drifted over to Tony's concerned face.

Behind him stood the avengers, who all looked worried, as if Peter was on fire or something.

"Good. Good, Peter, can you hear me?"

Peter slightly nodded, although it was hard and strenuous of him to do. He never thought nodding his head, as simple as it is, would be one of the hardest and most taxing things he's ever done. And that's saying something regarding the fact that he's Spider-Man.

"Good. That's real good Peter." Tony sighed.

"M……I…ster s….t..r..k" Peter croaked out.

Blood from his lungs trickled out from his mouth, and down his chin.

"Yes, Peter, I'm here, we're all here." Tony assured him, as he lay his hand on peter's chest, feeling his faint thumping heartbeat.

Peter gently smiled, and looked into the eyes of Tony stark. His mentor, fearless, and brilliant. Tony stark didn't look very brave in this moment, he actually seemed worried and afraid.

"FRIDAY. Run a diagnostic report on Peter Parker's body." Tony ordered

"Peter, everything's going to be alright, we're gonna get you back to the compound.

Tony knew that the battle was still happening around them, but he couldn't leave the kid to die.

"Peter Parker, has sustained many internal ruptures including his heart, left lung, and liver."

Taking note of how serious the kid's injuries were, Tony's face turned from a light concern to a strong and determined panic. This kid wasn't going to die, he couldn't. Not the kid he loved. Not the fighter and hero that everyone praised. Not Peter Parker. "No one's dying today," Tony stated. "Not on my watch."

"Tony, the battle." Captain America reminded him.

"It doesn't matter to me much right now, Steve! The kids dying, and if he doesn't get help, there will be no Spider-Man or Peter left.

"I can't live in a world with no Peter Parker." Tony solemnly said

He looked down to his kid's face, in which had his eyes slightly slanted towards him, as he could see his eyelids slowly blinking, every so often. He knew the kid was weak, and was in pain, but he had to help, he had to.

"Tony, the rest of us can stay, strange, Wanda, head back with tony, we can take care of this." Natasha declared

Tony looked as if he was lost in his thoughts. He was nervous for the kid, in which he now held in his arms, but he was also nervous for the fate of the galaxy and the people around him.

"Tony," Steve said "Tony," he said, as iron man finally snapped out of his thoughts and became aware of the situation around him.

"It's all going to be okay." Steve assured him.

Tony nodded hesitantly, as he knew the kid in his arms didn't have much time, and he didn't know if the kid would ever be okay again. He didn't know anything, and the uncertainty of the universe, and everything around him, slowly tortured him from the inside out.

"M…..i…s…er S..t…rk " Peter lightly whispered

"Yeah, kid." Tony responded, looking back to peter's eyes, and face in which had grown even paler as the minutes went by

"I feel like I'm going to pass out." He said brokenly.

"Woah, hang on, for just a little longer okay, Peter, please." Tony begged, as utter panic struck him, and he knew he needed to get his kid help and care soon.

"We need to go tony." Wanda alerted him.

Tony took one last look at his other friends, before they gave him an assuring look.

They all walked over to Peter in Tony's arms. As they grew closer, the panic in each of their eyes grew.

"Hang in their Pete." Steve said

Peter weakly nodded and smiled

Tony, Wanda , and strange all got on the spacecraft, as they flew away, with Peter.

The avengers didn't know if they'd ever see them again. Anything is possible in the universe, there are no limits, but doing as you please comes with some costs, and no one knew what it would be like if the bad things started to catch up to you.
