Steven

They wanted a show so I decided to give them one, I could pick up a sword and try what I learned form watching Pearl's many sword lessons but that's Connie's thing, infringing on it seems wrong. Then again I do have a bubble, so I trapped Ethan in it.

"if you can break that I'll give you a sword fight but if you can't then you have to relinquish your allegiance to Kronos," I told him

"Never! Let me out of here and fight me like a real man," Ethan shouted clanging his sword trying to break the bubble.

Personally, I wanted to let him tire his self but I heard a roar in the distance and knew his bubble time was up. Seconds later Lion came through his portal with not one but two on his back laughing up a storm. Many of the people were bewildered monsters and demigods alike but for me it was normal, I could tell they'd never seen a pink lion.

"Bubble time is over," I quipped releasing the demigod.

I began to walk over to Connie to help her down when Ethan charged at me and I let him but Connie didn't. She wasted no time parrying Ethan's overhead strike, closing the distance between them and effectively disarming him. "As sharp as ever," I said making her blush. She handed me the backpack and I noticed the girl Connie brought was looking around in both awe and confusion.

"Calypso,' A boy with sea green eyes murmured under his breath.

"That must be her name." I thought to myself

"Calypso dear, I see they finally let you off that wretched little island of yours, It's sad your father can't be here to join us in toppling Olympus but perhaps you can. The Olympians will just lock you back up the first chance they get, so what do you say? Come help out a dear old uncle" Kronos offered.

I was surprised when she didn't hesitate in answering his question.

"I will do no such thing Kronos, I hold no allegiance to anyone so I will do as I please and go where I like ," Calypso responded sharply,

That seemed to be a last straw for Kronos because his forces started stirring.

"Connie, Calypso, Lion come here," I told them before I put them in a bubble.

I could see the look of concern of Connie's face, "I'll be fine, nothing a bit of gardening can't handle." I reassured her.

During my travels, I dropped by Super Watermelon Island and gained a better understanding of my powers as I spent time with them and in turn gained a better understanding of myself. The most important thing I realized was that my powers while strongly connected to my emotions my powers rely on intention and control to focus them. Only with both can I even begin to comprehend the extent of my power. I made a number of different sentient plant life to join the watermelons civilization and every single one took the forms I intended them to. That's when I realized that's what mom did when she became Rose Quartz, she focused her immense power as Pink Diamond into her abilities as Rose quartz something I learned to do as well but there is a huge difference. I am not just another form, I'm a hybrid, there is no seperating the two things that make me who I am.

I summoned my power, I could feel it welling up and I'd need that. "Intention and Control," I murmured

"I need these warriors battle ready now," I thought as I broke the watermelon open, ate the seeds and spat them out onto the ground one by one.

I can't tell you what everyone else thought was happening but they all began reacting to the speed the watermelon vines were growing and it was only seconds before the first Watermelon Steven started popping out several at a time. I took the cactus seeds and did the same except I sped over to the water and spat them directly in. They grew instantaneously at least 10 feet tall and I ordered them back to the battlefield. The way the ground shook when they walked made me proud, what seemed like minutes to me was seconds to everyone else but Kronos looked unimpressed and I could tell he was pissed. By the time a minute had passed there were over 500+ watermelon Stevens present and growing.

"Hey, let us out," a blonde girl shouted from within the barrier and who was I to deny her, my work was already done.

"If your injured stay in the barrier, if your not fight to your heart content. Stevens do your thing," I announced as I deactivated the bubble around Connie and Calypso and opened a space in the barrier and the Stevens began fighting the monsters on my behalf.

I saw a familiar face and made my way over to her first. "Clarisse, how many injured do you have?"

"A lot, our healers are doing what they can but it's tiring them out, pinky " She responded

"Perhaps I could help," Calypso began singing her song healing Clarisse of her wounds almost instantly.

"Okay, Calypso and I will focus on healing the injured back to health and everyone else needs to go help fight because this barrier is coming down,"

"Alright you heard him, move the injured into the lobby," Clarisse backed me up.

It didn't take long for Calypso and I to finish healing the injured, but there was a number of developments within that short time. Apparently this dude named Typhon got beat by the gods. The blonde girl, sea green, goat guy (Yes they have Nicknames until I learn their names) and someone named Luke helped deliver the final blow Kronos. Connie and Lion led the plant Stevens in battle and more reinforces came form the underworld in the form of Lord Hades, his wife, son, mother in law and their skeleton army. Connie said it was one of the coolest things she's ever seen.

"We made quite the team," I commented

"Indeed we did, Steven Universe," Calypso smiled

Outside Connie was chatting it up with Demeter, Persephone, Hades and his son according to Calypso's info.

"Guess what Steven, I talked with Demeter and she's willing to take the remaining Watermelon Stevens under her care," Connie beamed

"That's good, but they need somewhere to go where they won't be bothered by humans," I expressed

"How about Ogygia, the magic keeping me there is gone but it still is an island hidden from the eyes of man and I am still it's ruler," Calypso butted in.

"Would that be ok with you Lady Demeter?" Calypso asked

"Perfect actually, I believe we are being summoned at the moment but you all would do well to make your way to Olympus, Let's go Kore, you too Hades " Demeter sighed

We took our sweet time walking back in the building, boarding the elevator, especially walking to the throne room. Practically unbothered Connie and Nico traded swords testing and seeing how they felt as we walked. Eventually Nico asked to see my shield so I showed him Rose's shield and my personal diamond shield. Nico liked my diamond shield better but Calypso liked Rose's shield ensuing an argument lasting until we finally reached the throne room.

The tension in the room increased before we even entered the room, there was an aisle formed by Cyclops and at the other end stood Perseus Jackson. They may not have did it intentionally but Nico and Calypso shifted uncomfortably the moment we stopped and I could tell it was because of Percy.

"Keep walking," I encouraged and they did but I didn't.

"Steven Universe, nice to meet you," I greeted Percy. He wasn't much by the heroic standards physically but then again neither was I when I brought an entire space empire to heel.

"Percy Jackson, and Likewise" He responded and instead of leaving he stayed, I'm sure he wanted to see the outcome of this verdict

I continued walking around the Hearth stopping front and center with the throne of whom I presumed to be Zeus by his attire and signature lightning bolt and he did not look pleased at all nor did many of the gods but If I'd learned anything from my first interactions with diamonds it's that these things go by faster if you smile and nod. So Nico, Connie and I took a seat near his father's feet but Calypso stayed.

"Olympians, I don't have anything to say to the majority of you barring Hermes, Hephaestus, Demeter, Hestia, and Hades except that the magic that used to hold me on Ogygia is gone and I will not be surrendering my immortality or freedom, bye." Calypso spoke with confidence turning to leave when the room boomed with thunder.

There stood Zeus in all his might held his thunderbolt ready to throw it..

"Insolent Titaness, such disrespect will not be tolerated especially from a lesser being like you " Zeus Bellowed

Several of the other Olympians tried to calm him down but it didn't work, their pleas fell on deaf ears. Calypso didn't budge an inch, unafraid of the supposed wrath of the gods. Zeus grew impatient summoning his pent up rage over his previous fight Typhon adding to the rage he felt in the moment and hurled his master bolt.
