Calypso
Calypso, Daughter of Atlas and Tethys, Niece of Prometheus, Step daughter of Oceanus, and Half sister of Zoe nightshade has a part of her story you haven't heard. Long ago, before the gods started rising to power the titans ruled. Calypso came and went as she pleased from her Father's Home on Mount Orthrys, where she'd often spend her time with her sisters and father her mother's Home in the deep sea. Despite, not being her actual grandfather she referred to Oceanus as such and their relationship grew to a level of affection often reminding him of his closely acquainted relationship with his Uncle Pontus.
Over the years she learned a many number of things from him, but like all good things that came to an end with the First Titanomachy. Oceanus stayed neutral during the war but a power flip prompted him to make a choice that if any of the gods found out they'd turn on him immediately. He called upon his old friend Gyges, one of the hundred handed giants and requested an easily worn female armor set be made with immense power rivaling that of the new weapons made for the gods but it's power is completely invisible until the user reveals it. It was a small necklace that'd always return to sender. He'd plan to give this to Calypso for her safe keeping because he knew her true nature was even less warring than his but never got the chance because by the time it was finished Mount Orthrys had been raided, Atlas has been chained and forced to hold the sky, The hesperides despite being neutral were confined totheir garden under the watch of Hera, and Calypso trapped away on a phantom island never to leave and only to be found by the gods and their mortal heroes. When the dust settled in the throne room the unexpected had happened.
Calypso stood there. no longer wearing the the white blouse and jeans she put on before leaving Ogygia but an outfit much more regal and warrior like. The golden cuffs she reflected light so greatly it was blinding. The white breastplate, the golden Tiara, and even the blue skirt painted Calypso in a new light, one that nobody could ignore especially the white bearded man standing directly in front of her lightning bolt sticking out the right side of his body.
"Hello Little one, it's been a while," He said sincerely.
"Grandfather, why?" Calypso mumbled lowly hugging the man intensely.
"I have searched every ocean and it's depths for your location, the only reason I helped in this war was because even after 2000+ years the Olympians would keep you hidden away. Every other Titan or Titaness that fought is easily findable on both Earth or Tartarus but they keep you who contributed the least to the war locked away for no other reason than who you are. I don't have much time left little one so listen closely," He told her sincerely.
Then came the part not one being in the room expected, grasping Calypso's forearm in a clasp he began chanting a transfer of power "I Oceanus, Titan of the Oceans relinquish all to you Calypso, may the oceans guide you well Titaness," he finished kissing her upon the forehead.
Even though she was sobbing nonstop Calypso was beaming, so much in fact she didn't notice Connie coming in for a Hug.
Oceanus the walked to the center of the throne room pulled the master bolt out his chest causing ichor to flow down his side
"I believe this belongs to you, Zeus. Hello Sweet Hera, looking as regal as ever. Poseidon, I do expect you will not slack around, don't make me regret restoring your palace. Well this is it, friends, enemies, family, I wish you all good fortune." Oceanus rambled on as his form shimmered away joining the other faded gods.
Calypso transformed back into her regular outfit clasping her brand new necklace as we began to walk out of the throne room. From the corner of my eye I could still see Nico sitting down, I don't know what he was thinking but I gestured for him to come on and he did.
"I'll see you later dad," He said jogging to catch up.
"So what's next?" Calypso asked
Nobody really answered. Connie and I were new here, Calypso was too as for Nico he didn't look like he had any suggestions, so I said what came to mind.
"We should probably checkout Camp Half-blood, but I don't know where it is," I told them.
Nico didn't look too pleased about it but he spoke up, "I do, it's not too far a walk from here,"
Connie took off towards the front door and we all wondered why till we got outside "Why walk when we have a Lion!" Connie exclaimed happily.
We all started bursting out laughing, It was funny cuz Connie attached one of the Chariots and it looked real fancy.
Connie and Nico sat in the front so she could help guide Lion to Nico's directions. "And were off," she said in an announcer voice.
