The sun began to rise in Magnolia. As the morning sun began to shine upon the town, someone was planning something. Somebody stood at the top of the building and admired Magnolia.
"What a quaint little town. Too bad it could end up destroyed." He jumped off the building and was beginning whatever it was he had planned.

Nashi
Nashi began to wake up as the sun shined into her apartment. When her senses were starting to come to her; she felt sore, a little sticky, and a shift in weight. When she looked to her side, she saw Drake asleep next to her. Soon, the events of last night came back to her. She shot up with keeping the covers over her and felt completely embarrassed about the whole thing. She really didn't know what to think of all that.
"Oh my..." Nashi didn't even know what say. It was unbelievable, but it actually did feel great at the same time. Drake began to wake up himself. When he sat up next to her, he placed his arm around her and was in a good mood.
"Morning." Drake said, but Nashi was too flushed about what happened the other night to say anything. "Still blushing? Was last night just that good or is there something else going on in your head."
"Drake... I... I don't know what to think of about last night." Nashi said. "I've never been involved in something like that before. Hell, I never even been on a date and we just..."
"Hey, you were the one that wanted to act more like a grown-up." Drake said. "I can just imagine the looks of some people's faces."
"No!" Nashi said. "Don't tell anyone about what happened here."
"Why not?" Drake questioned.
"I... I need to think about this." Nashi said. "We're not a couple, but what we did last night was..." Nashi thought it did feel amazing, but she wasn't sure if it was a good idea. It was like something took her over. She's never been in a situation like this before and doesn't know what she's suppose to do at times like this. "Drake, last night actually was...amazing. It's just that...I don't know what to do or where to go from here."
"I get it." Drake said with Nashi a little surprised he was being understanding. "It was actually your first time. Probably not how you imagined it. You probably thought you would have a boyfriend at least. I guess I got a little carried away."
"Thanks for understanding." Nashi said.
"Of course, this means I'm going to try harder to get you to really be my girl." Drake said. Nashi is uncertain, but Drake saw this as his biggest chance yet. "I promise I won't say anything to anyone."
"Thank you." Nashi said. She's got some things to think about. Once she put her thoughts in order enough to get out of the bed, she went to the shower and tried to get ready for the day. Of course, she just couldn't stop thinking about her current situation. What caused her to act the way she did? Why did she allow this to happen? Does she have strong feelings for Drake that even she does not know about or was it something else?

The Streets
Once Nashi got herself cleaned up and dressed, she allowed Drake to stay at her place for him to get ready for the day himself. That allowed her to think about what she's going to do. She doesn't know if she actually wants Drake as a boyfriend or anything. Probably because she's never had anything with a guy beyond just friendship. The part that's really getting to her is that she finds herself wanting more. It's like her head is saying one thing, but another part of her is saying another.
"Urgh! What's wrong with me?" Nashi said as she didn't understand, but she can't go to anyone about this because she would feel too embarrassed. When she stopped for a moment to try and get her head in order, she looked down and saw something strange. There was a strange trail on the ground. She dropped down and placed her hand against it to feel it was a little cold, but easily broke apart. "Is this...frost? It's not winter. What's this doing here?"
"Run for your lives!" Nashi looked ahead when she heard someone call that out. All of a sudden, spikes of ice began to shoot out of the ground in different places of Magnolia.
"What's going on?!" Nashi questioned. Just when it seems like she has enough problems, she has something else popped up. Thinking she would find the source of this, she followed the trail of frost. She hurried to where the trail was taking her as people were running away. She looked and saw people were frozen in ice. Whatever is going on, it wasn't looking good at all.
"What's wrong? Having a bad case of frostbite? Hahaha!" Nashi looked ahead at the base of those spikes. Someone was standing there and she assumed that he was the one behind this.
"Hey, you!" Nashi called and got his attention. He turned to her with Nashi getting a good look at him. He had messy black hair with a blue sports top. He wore it tucked into white pants with a black belt and black boots. "Are you the one who did this?"
"What if I am?" Nashi wasn't liking the looks of this at all.
"Who are you?" Nashi said. The guy just remained silent, but he did feel Nashi's magic.
"This magic I'm sensing... Are you a dragon slayer?" He asked.
"I am. Why?" Nashi said.
"Well, this is an interesting turn of events. Looks like I was able to lure you out." The man said. "You see...I'm here for your kind." He's here for dragon slayers? Nashi was liking this less and less. "My name is Cerex. I came here because I heard the guild here has many dragon slayers. I figured attacking the town would be a good way to get them to come out."
"You're crazy." Nashi complained. This Cerex doesn't seem to be playing around. He felt Nashi's magic some more and felt something was off.
"Wait. Something doesn't feel right." Cerex said. "I see... Are you part of that new generation of dragon slayers I heard about? The kind where one of your parents is a dragon slayer or something?" Nashi was impressed he was able to figure that out. "In that case, I got no use for you. I'm only interested in REAL dragon slayers. The kind that got their power from the dragons themselves."
"What makes you an expert?" Nashi said.
"I'll show you." Cerex said as he held out his hand. Nashi could feel his magic now and was beginning to see it.
"Wait. Is he...?!" Nashi said as she couldn't believe it.
"Ice Dragon Hail!" Cerex fired bits of ice from his hand like they were bullets. It was like a hailstorm raged as Nashi was blasted with the ice.
'This guy's a dragon slayer too?!' Nashi thought as she almost couldn't believe it.
"I have no interest in your kind. Get me the real dragon slayers before I turned this whole town into a winter wonderland." Cerex demanded.
"Not a chance!" Nashi said as she had fire form around her fist. She went right at the Cerex and tried to attack him, but he moved out of the way and avoided her flames.
"Big mistake!" Cerex declared as he formed shards of ice in the air. He unleashed them at Nashi, but Nashi jumped back and avoided his attack. Cerex didn't stop there. He went right at her and tried to strike her, but she crossed her arms and was able to block the attack.
"Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame!" Nashi unleashed an explosion of fire and blasted him. She thought she had him, but Cerex was able to walk out of the flames like it was nothing.
"Is that really all you got? Is that really as hot as you can make flames?" Cerex said. "Pathetic, but what do you expect from someone who does have the real power of dragons."
"Are you saying your power comes from the dragons? What does that mean?" Nashi questioned.
"Your generation of dragon slayers is just an inferior copy of the real thing." Cerex said. "I'm the genuine article. My powers came from an actual dragon."
"An actual dragon? Are you saying you're a first generation dragon slayer?" Nashi questioned. 'He's just like Dad, Coro, Stella, and the others. How can that be when there aren't any dragons left? There's also this strange feeling I'm getting from his magic. Him being a first generation dragon slayer might explain it, but there's more to it.' Nashi didn't understand what was going on. There was something strange about this opponent, but Nashi isn't sure.
"I think it's time I put you on ice." Cerex said. He took a deep breath. Nashi knows what's coming and readied herself for it as she too took a deep breath.
"Fire Dragon..."
"Ice Dragon..."
"Roar!" They both used their breath attack as they breathed out fire and ice. The two opposing elements clashed against each other. Nashi tried to push back, but the ice was blowing back her flames. The ice was much colder than her hot flames. Just when it seemed like Cerex was winning the struggle, a blast of sound came out of nowhere and blew Cerex back.
"That happens to be my girl you're fighting." Nashi turned around and saw Drake was able to catch up with her. "You want to fight my girl, you've got to fight me too."
"Hey! I didn't actually agree to that!" Nashi said as she started blush. Cerex took notice of his new opponent and felt his magic.
"Another one? He's a dragon slayer too, but I can sense he's part of that new generation." Cerex said.
"So what's the deal with this guy, Nashi?" Drake asked.
"I'm not too sure. He's actually a first generation dragon slayer, and his element is ice." Nashi said. "However, I'm not really sure what he's after or why he's doing this."
"No worries. I can get the answers out of him." Drake said as he looked ready for a fight.
"Fools. Do you honestly think you can defeat me?" Cerex said.
"It's two against one. We're all dragon slayers, but Nashi and I hold the advantage." Drake said. Cerex didn't seemed concerned.
"You think you can defeat me?" Cerex said as he found that humorous. "You two aren't real dragon slayers like me. My power comes from an actual dragon."
"So what? We're just as much dragon slayers as you." Drake said.
"It doesn't matter. Allow me to show you just how far outmatched you are." Cerex said. All of a sudden, magic erupted from him. He was releasing tons of magic power and they could see he was transforming, transforming into something massive. When they could see what it was, the two of them couldn't believe it. Cerex was massive and blue. He had wings that looked like they were covered in ice. His under belly was white with sky blue hair running down from his head and down his back. He also had something shaped like a snowflake at the end of a tail.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Drake said.
"He's...a dragon?!" Nashi said.
"Now do you see how outclassed you are?!" Cerex claimed. He actually has the ability to become a dragon? Nashi's problems just seem to keep growing. This could be a true testament to Nashi's and Drake's dragon slayer abilities.
