The unbelievable, the unthinkable has happened right before Nashi and her friends. She may have learned that Sapphron is over four-hundred years old, but the surprises just keep coming. When Sapphron called out on her weakness with her magic, she couldn't hold back all her power and emotions. It ended up causing a brand new dragon to emerge with her claiming that she was created from Nashi. As they all stared up at her, they couldn't believe what was in front of them.
"Did I hear that right?" Storm questioned. "I could have sworn that dragon just said she was created by Nashi."
"It did." Sasha said.
"What is the meaning of this? How could a human create a new dragon?" Sapphron said.
"As I said, my name is Amata. I was given life by Nashi."
"Did I really create her?" Nashi questioned as she has no idea how she did that.
"Nashi's will is my will, and her enemies are my enemies!" Amata claimed. She raised her claw and tried bringing it down on Sapphron, but Sapphron jumped out of the way and avoided it.
"You may have just came into existence, but it's going to be very short." Sapphron said. He unleashed a blaze of blue fire at Amata, but Amata used her wings to defend herself.
"You're in the same situation with me as you were with Nashi." Amata claimed. "They say you should fight fire with fire, but that doesn't really work in this case." She brought her claw down again, but he moved away from her.
'This is rather strange.' Sapphron wondered as he tried to figure this out. 'Where did this dragon come from? How could that girl summoned it.' Amata chased after him as she kept trying to crush him. 'Well, she's still a dragon. My magic is designed to defeat her kind. I wish I didn't have to, but she plans to stand in the way.' Sapphron decided to quit playing around and began to transform himself.
"What's happening?" Simon said.
"Oh boy. Brace yourself." Nashi said as she knew what might becoming. Sapphron transformed into his dragon form. He became a blue dragon, blue like the sapphire he uses. He looked thin, but fit for a dragon. He also had a long slender neck with horns curved back with glowing eyes.
"I will show you that a sapphire dragon burns more than any fire dragon." Sapphron claimed.
"Oh man! Drake wasn't kidding! These guys really can become dragons!" Storm said as he, Sasha, and Simon couldn't believe what they just witnessed.
"This is bad! Magnolia could be crushed from this battle!" Nashi said.
"Don't worry." Amata said. "I will make sure that doesn't happy." Amata flapped her wings and took to the sky. Sapphron flew after him and took this battle into the air. The two dragons clashed against each other. Many could see this happening and they couldn't believe that there were actually witnessing this.
"Uh... Nashi, you're a dragon slayer. Shouldn't you do something?" Simon said.
"I really don't know what to do." Nashi said as she felt like her brain was overloading. The two dragons clashed their heads together. Amata was really fighting hard against this enemy to protect Magnolia. She grabbed a hold of Sapphron and tossed him up in the air.
"Leave this town alone. The people down there are innocent humans. They don't deserve to get caught in your troubles." Amata requested.
'Incredible...' Sapphron thought. 'This dragon has only existed for such a short amount of time, but it already speaks with such compassion and care for others. Is her very being really from that girl? Does she care for others, so this dragon cares for others? This Amata does appear to be kind a dragon. For that, I'll spare her life, but I won't allow anyone to stand in our way.' Sapphron flew straight down at her, but Amata had fire form around her claw and she struck him in the face for it.
"Did that red dragon just used that Iron Fist attack you use, Nashi?" Storm said.
"If this dragon came to life from Nashi's magic, it would make sense that she would use the same techniques that Nashi uses." Simon said. Amata flew at Sapphron and tackled her. She tried pushing him higher in the air. Sapphron moved his head to the shoulder and crunched down on it. Amata tried breaking free and tossed him aside. Not only did Sapphron see how strong she was, but he wasn't making much progress in his own goals.
"I'm not getting anywhere like this.' Sapphron thought. 'I better get Cerex and pull back for now. We clearly don't know enough about these people.' Sapphron decided to back down from the fight and went back to Magnolia. Amata could see what he was doing and went back to Nashi and the others.
"It looks like he's regrouping with his friend." Amata said. "If there's nothing else, I should go."
"Go? Go where?" Nashi asked.
"Don't worry, Nashi. I will be with you. I'll await the next time you call for me." Amata said. That was when she glowed pink and was breaking apart to stardust.
"Wait! I don't understand!" Nashi called, but it was too late. Amata already left.
"What just happened?!" Storm voiced what everyone was thinking. "Did that dragon just die?"
"I don't think so." Simon said as he tried to make sense of this. "I think it's the same as my Requip, Celestial Magic, or maybe even Arc of Embodiment. Either way, we better hurry after that guy." They all agreed on that. The others got moving, but Nashi was still puzzled about all that happened. "Nashi!" She snapped out of it and hurried after them.
...
Cerex
At the same time of when those dragons were fighting, Cerex was a little distracted by it. A battle between two dragons is not something you see often.
'What the hell?' Cerex thought. 'A battle between dragons? How is something like that possible at times like this?'
"Hey, you!" Drake called as he got right in front of him. "Don't get distracted!" He smashed his palm against Cerex and generated powerful soundwaves that blew him into the air.
"Don't forget us!" Nova said as she used her lightning and appeared above him. She gave him a powerful strike and knocked him to the ground. Gale joined in as he had his fist coated in iron and smashed it against Cerex when he got close enough. He was knocked back to Drake with him having another attack ready.
"Poison Dragon Spiral Jaw!" Drake struck Cerex with the attack and knocked him into a building. Against a regular opponent, Cerex wouldn't have been thrashed around that easily, but Fairy Tail wizards aren't regular opponents.
"Okay! Now I'm mad!" Cerex said as he got back up and was ready to kill all three of them, but that was when Sapphron regrouped with him and changed back to human form.
"Enough, Cerex. We're getting nowhere like this." Sapphron said.
"Sapphron? What the hell happened up there? Where'd that red dragon come from" Cerex said.
"Forget about that for now. I'll tell you later." Sapphron said.
"Hey! We're not done with you!" Storm called as he and the others were able to follow after them.
"Persistent bunch." Sapphron said.
"Don't these guys know when to call it quits?" Cerex said.
"Not our style." Three more showed themselves and it ended up being Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy. "Anyone who even thinks of messing with Fairy Tail ends up paying." Natsu claimed.
"Cerex, it's them." Sapphron said.
"Are all of you okay?" Wendy asked.
"What's going on? You guys are in your twenties and you can't handle these two?" Gajeel mocked.
"I like to see you do any better, old man." Gale said.
"No worries. We can take it from here." Natsu said as he was ready to rumble.
"Dad, wait!" Nashi called. "These two are dragon slayers from over four-hundred years ago! They're the same as Acnologia, capable of turning into dragons!" Hearing that was certainly a surprise to the three of them.
"Let me explain ourselves." Sapphron said. "We did not come here to cause trouble, but it seems it couldn't be helped." He looked at Cerex to cause shame since he caused this mess. "The reason we came here was because we wanted to speak with the three of you."
"Us?" Wendy questioned.
"What would you want with us?" Gajeel asked.
"You're the same as us, are you not?" Sapphron said. "Your powers came from the mighty dragons. They were your teachers, were they not?"
"More than that. They were our parents." Natsu corrected.
"All the more reason for you to listen." Sapphron said. "All we desire is to change the world. We desire to bring the dragons back to this life." Hearing their objective shocked all of them.
"Don't get the wrong idea. We just want to bring back the kind dragons, the ones that would want to be friends with humans." Cerex said.
"That would include the dragons that raise you." Sapphron said. "You would have a chance to see them again. That is why we wish for you to join us. We lived alongside the dragons before. They were our friends. I know our actions here might not be to your liking, but understand that we will take down anyone who dare stands in our way. All we want here is for you to join us. Surely, you can understand our reasons." It sounded like a tempting offer. The three of them could have a real chance to see their dragons once again when they loved them so much. "I'm not expecting an immediate answer, but this is something you should think about. We'll take our leave now."
"Hold on! You're not going anywhere!" Nashi said. Sapphron turned to her and knew there was more to this guild than he thought, especially her.
"How rude of me. I never really got your name. That dragon said your name is Nashi, right?" Sapphron asked.
"It is. Nashi Dragneel."
"I'll remember that." Sapphron said as he thought she was an interesting girl and turned away from her. "I have a feeling we'll meet again. When we do, I hope it's because you decide to join us."
"Wait!" Nashi called as she tried to stop them, but Sapphron caused a blaze of blue fire appear around him and Cerex. When it went out, they were already gone.
"Got away..." Sasha said.
"And their scent is already covered. No way we can track them." Gale said. What Sapphron said had them all baffled. Especially Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy. Could they really have a chance to see their dragons again?
"Do you think what he said is true? Can they really bring back the dragons?" Nova questioned.
"I'm not sure." Sasha said. "Weirder things have happened to us."
"It would seem our time of peace is over, but what kind of enemy are we dealing with?" Simon wondered.
"I can tell you that." They all looked and were met with the mysterious wizard.
"Who are you?" Nashi said.
"My name is Elfaud. I'm not your enemy. I know about the people you have just fought."
